Haus of Gloi? I've already got what I wanted from Autumn 1.0, maybe when the next update drops there'll be something
Shortbread? Sure! I'm open to most flavors. Seasonal autumn flavors particularly welcome
Comics? My comic taste was developed in the late 80's early 90's, independent comics. Jhonen Vasquex, etc. So something like that. maybe? Otherwise not really.
Books? Normally it's an enthusiatic yes, but my TBR pile is nearly big enough to start making furniture out of, so no.
Tea? I love spicy black tea...chais of all kinds. I also enjoy floral herbal teas. Plum Deluxe's Portland Rose City Chai, Brutaliteas Black Tea Number One and My Bloody Clementine some inspirational examples. Loose or bagged is fine.

I have an extensive Halloween decor collection and could stand to rehome some things including Bath and Bodyworks wall plug-ins and Johanna Parker linens. Would you like to receive some items from this collection? If so what types of items would you like to recieve? (kitchenware, linens, home decor)
Ooooo...I love the B&BW plug-ins that light up or throw designs on the wall, and I've found pretty much all the Johanna Parker stuff quite attractive, as well. Id especially welcome a Halloween/Autumn teapot, but linens could also find a place in my house.

Anything from the Paintbox Soapworks fall updates look interesting? I LOVE their sorbetto scrubs. I just love scrubs. Also bar soap. Phantasma or The Bees Lament. Also love their Nihilist unscented goat milk hand cream.

The one I recently added is by Phillip Carr Gomm, leader of O.B.O.D., who I am studying under, and I also recently saw 2 decks for ascension and lemuria that appeal to me, not so much as tarot, but as oracle cards. But if you have a set you want me to have, I won't be unhappy about it.

How do you feel about seasonal Japanese kitkat flavors provided they stay away from your "least favorite flavors" mentioned in the questionnaire?: ABSOLUTELY. My kiddo actually went to Japan over the summer and DID NOT BRING ME BACK ANY KITKATS and I almost disowned them.
I should note, as I think I failed to do so in my questionnaire, that I don't actually care for matcha. *ducks*

Are you a black coffee or coffee with milk type of person?: Interestingly, I used to only be able to drink coffee with milk, but have started drinking it black more often (although usually at restaurants and such it's so strong I need milk). And I love a seasonally flavored latte.
What is your makeup color palette? Do you prefer neutral, warm, or cool colors? Bold or toned-down?: Bold and cool ish - mostly blues and greens for eyes, dark burgandy leaning a little brown for lips. I don't ever wear blush.
What's your relationship to tarot? Do you want/need a deck? : I don't really have one. I used to play around with a deck and with runes mostly for focusing intent, but haven't really used any sort of oracle for years. So, no thank you!
• How would you feel about an opened but never used deck?: na, unless it is really themed to one of my fandoms, I guess.
Is there anything specifically from Japan you would be interested in?: Other than kitkats, I'm pretty set (my youngest is into anime and manga and just went to Japan this past summer and we're planning a family trip next summer and regularly hit a local store specializing in Japanese imports, so we are very set at the moment).
Tea: I mostly drink black tea and herbal/tsanes and particularly like gourmond blends in seasonal flavors. Loose or bags are both fine. I am not a big fan of matcha or green tea generally.

I do live in Florida so for wearables it would be more for style over warmth. I do prefer natural fibers for sensory reasons. I love the look of the openwork knit stuff, especially the ones that evoke spiderwebs. A scarf or shawl would be nice. But I would die for a mohair bolero but I'm dreaming.

Answers to the Winter Solstice 2025 Exchange Q's
1) What are your favorite colors to wear, or for warm blankets, socks, etc ?
Blue-green, dark orange, purple, green, red;
socks can be anything;
blankets, I like blues, greens, yellow, orange, purple, and plant patterns.
2) What sizes do you prefer for upper body and lower body clothing, feet, etc?
I would prefer to be my old sizes, since I finally had clothes that fit right. Barring that, I am currently in the range of 10/12 ladies. However, anything fitted in the chest should be bigger-- unless it is stretchy. I think the sizing, in inches, currently stands at 42-34-45. I like baggy winter clothes, though, and I have the ability to take things in-- either by hand or with the cooperation of a sewing machine. My hands and head are considered medium, I think. My feet are size 10. I am 5'7" and a bit?
3) Are there types of fibers you have trouble with against your skin?
Polyester that wants you to think it's cotton.
Polyester knitwear, absolutely okay; polyester t-shirts, underthings, or sleepwear, no please. It needs to have airholes or be with natural fibers, or it tries to kill me by asphyxiation of the dermis.
Also, this is random, but I will-- occasionally-- have textural issues with things. It even happens with some of my favorite cardigans and shirts. I can deal with it-- like I said, it's occasional. But, if you happen to be at Thrift Palace (or wherever, but 'Thrift Palace' is a cool name) trying to choose between two things, it might be good to err on the side of whichever one does not have tags or hard seams-- specifically on the wrists, forearms, or back of the neck. Yes, I am (more than) a bit of a freak. But I am okay with this, and I would rather be upfront than have to lie about enjoying something. Not particularly fond of lying, absolutely suck at poker.

Sample size is glorious, or if you want to splurge on a full size, that's fine. I would also be happy to try Sozzled and Stretched on Your Grave (how Goth).

Chai, or almond saffron also sound good in my head.

I think I am set on this. But other honeys/vinegars are a total 'go.'

Books with pictures and/or reference materials, and authors/series I collect(basically, I will take any and all copies of Dracula, things by Tolkien, and Xanth books)-- physical preferred; regular novel-- digital is A-OK, but physical is fine, too. I rarely listen to audiobooks (basically, only if the waitlist is too long on the word book/I've read it before/ the audio thing is more like a radio drama), and usually will borrow them from the library, since I am not much of a rereader. Used books are fabulous.
15) If your BPAL wish list is mostly htf rares, is there anything currently available from the Lab that you are craving?
Imps of any of the RPG creature jobs, a squirt of Elven Glam, the Snakes Berry Sonker, Caribbean storm relief scents, and probably a bunch of other stuff. I just found a review describing a scent I can't remember as 'Akuma's sophisticated older sibling,' and I missed out on it. There was also something with wildflower honey...
So, yeah, anything that sounds like it would be in my scent preferences, from probably 2019 on-- especially in sample form-- and I would be totally open to revisit GC favorites. I like nice smells.

Definitely no micro fibers. I also don’t like the acrylic socks. For socks cotton or wool are best. I do like the fuzzy slipper socks. I make bowls, mats & vessels from rope that I wrap with pretty cloth. So essentially, functional, useful fiberart. What might you like? Long striped armwarmers? I love baking but due to my allergies, I only work with gluten and dairy free ingredients these days. While you may not have these issues, is there a baked good you would love receiving even if it is gluten and dairy free? I also only use honey, maple syrup or coconut sugar, but I'm happy to use monk fruit if you'd prefer/need.
Perhaps cookies of some sort? Peanut butter, maybe? Or possibly a sugar cookie? I'm not a baker, so I have no knowledge base, but my gluten-free vegan friend has told me before that there's almost always a way to make substitutions for gluten and animal products when you're cooking or baking, so I'd defer to your expertise for whatever baked type of cookie you think would work best.I grow a wide variety of herbs, are there any you need for your pantry? I have mugwort (which I can prepare for tea/spice use, bath use or smudge), thyme, winter savory, sage, various mints, rosemary, fennel (leaf and seed), and I'm certain I am forgetting somethings so feel free to ask.

I do basic embroidery. Is there a simple design or motif you might like? Like bats, spiders, spooky flowers, pumpkins or other such? This will come either in a hoop frame or on a finished hoop (the back is gathered and covered with cardboard) unless you have other needs like an embroidered ribbon or handkerchief.
I always love things with bats! Either a hoop or a handkerchief would be great! Embroidered handkerchiefs are so neat. A ghost or a ghost with a small pumpkin would be another nice alternative.

I have no idea how it would taste, but I love the name Inari's Foxes! I do like both jasmine tea and licorice tea. I love the idea of the horror inspired blends; of those, Nevermore would probably best suit my taste and make me happy because I love Poe. I also love Oscar Wilde, so I'm intrigued by the Dorian Gray, but I don't think I've ever had puer tea and unfortunately I'm not sure if I would like it.

Yes to both, although more enthusiastically on the puzzle. I love Halloween puzzles, and I'm looking forward to celebrating October by starting some new ones from my stash.
I am also paring down a huge Halloween decor collection is there anything you'd like to inherit? Hard to say, just because I have an overly large Halloween decor collection myself. If you have any small vintage-looking Halloween stuff I'd probably be up for that, or something small that's bat-related. Small is the key here, as my own collection is already taking up too much space!

I'm torn on this one too. There's a stray cat that's been hanging around the neighborhood for a couple months now and he now spends most of his time on my back patio or front porch because I feed him regularly, put out some boxes for him to hide and sleep in, and have even bought him some toys. He might appreciate some organic catnip for sure. But! my ultimate goal is to get him adopted into a good home where he can live inside and be spoiled and hopefully even have another cat friend to play with. I think I made pumpkin lavender shortbread for someone last year, I've done spiced orange, chocolate orange, lavender peppermint (a surprising hit that I now make annually). I keep trying to get him to make a rose or lavender vanilla bean one for me.

Shortbread has never been one of my favorites, but also maybe I’ve just never had the good, homemade stuff? Either of the oranges or spiced sounds intriguing, as does pumpkin minus the lavender. Definitely not rose though, unless it’s still on the bush or freshly cut it’s a death note/flavor for me.

I have several delicious smelling candles but I rarely burn them, I usually just open the tin/jar and let is scent the air. But I love them, burning or not. Absolutely!

I’ve never tried anything from Lush. I don’t really use any overly scented products because I don’t want them to detract from/overpower my BPALs. If it’s something that doesn’t really stick around like a sugar scrub sure, but things like bath bombs or lotions won’t really get used.

The espresso ones sound incredible. My absolute favorite caramels are from a place about an hour from me. They’re called Hellfire caramels and they’re coated in dark chocolate and then topped with sea salt and cayenne 🤤

As many of you know, one of my baking specialties is eclectic varieties of shortbread. I think I made pumpkin lavender shortbread for someone last year, I've done spiced orange, chocolate orange, lavender peppermint (a surprising hit that I now make annually). I have a wonderful coffee roaster near me, wood-roasted, small batch, regular and decaf, all roast types. It's so good, I won't buy coffee anywhere else, and I only drink dark roast decaf. IF this sounds good, whats your coffee desire, and beans or grind size? I love baking but due to my allergies, I only work with gluten and dairy free ingredients these days. While you may not have these issues, is there a baked good you would love receiving even if it is gluten and dairy free? I also only use honey, maple syrup or coconut sugar, but I'm happy to use monk fruit if you'd prefer/need.
Home baked things are lovely, but I doubt Customs would let them through.
I grow a wide variety of herbs, are there any you need for your pantry? I have mugwort (which I can prepare for tea/spice use, bath use or smudge), thyme, winter savory, sage, various mints, rosemary, fennel (leaf and seed), and I'm certain I am forgetting somethings so feel free to ask.

I'm one of those crafty sorts that make things. I make things by up cycling sweaters, for example - mittens, slippers, armwarmers (both solid or striped from multiple fabrics ). Could also make a tea cosy with a mat. I make bowls, mats & vessels from rope that I wrap with pretty cloth. So essentially, functional, useful fiberart. What might you like? Long striped armwarmers? A pair of slippers, decadently lined in cashmere?

I have so many kits! I think anything that's low-mess is fine, though (an embroidered ornament sounds lovely, for instance; I probably wouldn't use a dye or wax kit for a long time since I have tiny goblins who are always up in my business.)
I love baking but due to my allergies, I only work with gluten and dairy free ingredients these days. While you may not have these issues, is there a baked good you would love receiving even if it is gluten and dairy free? I also only use honey, maple syrup or coconut sugar, but I'm happy to use monk fruit if you'd prefer/need.
Cookies would be okay -- I'm a little sensitive to food expiration stuff, so anything that keeps well (candy/harder cookies) is okay if marked with the date they were made.

For this question, usually I just say that whatever is in line with previously stated preferences would be great. Since in my original questionnaire I mentioned green tea flavored chocolate, that's still a thought, including in the green tea kitkat application. Japan also has many fun flavors of potato chips, potato sticks, etc. (I have some "Hokkaido Butter" flavored ones right now that I got from Daiso), those also sound good right now. So, I am having a bad day today and am not sure if this answer will be coherent. But, Ren Fest things in line with previously stated preferences would be great. Ren Fests usually have all kinds of things that I like and probably have described in my questionnaire or in other answers, such as candles, bar soap, lip balm (again, in a tube, not in a pot/jar), earrings, stick incense (not powder or cone), etc. I almost always buy earrings and soap when I am at these events. Thinking of other things I have usually bought while attending, please do NOT get me a coffee cup (anywhere, not just from Ren Fest). Again, I just moved, and somehow we have so many coffee cups that even after devoting an entire cabinet to them, we still have more than one box of them that will probably never be unpacked because we have so many. Sorry, tangent! Told you I was having a bad day....

This is actually a complicated question! For unisex tees (i.e., "men's sizes"), I usually get an L these days. For fitted/women's tees, I'm likely a 1X or 2X, whatever the size up from XL is if there is one. Pajama sizes are probably similar to women's/fitted tee sizes. In case helpful, I wear a US 18 or 20 in pants (uh, I think those are called trousers in other countries?).

I do like Halloween socks and I guess cats are a good bet (though other things are fine if in line with previous answers)? The paper folio for organizing writing goods actually sounds pretty nice. I would rather have the other types described than shabby chic or winter holiday.

Home-canned things sound great. I'll admit, I do like both tomatoes and rhubarb, separately though I think (peach would be more for my husband, I don't really like peach anything)! Rhubarb I'd like to be at least somewhat sweet. Tomato jam also sounds good, that could be sweet and spicy or just one of the two, as long as not too spicy (again, as noted in the questionnaire, I'm a Texan, so my mild spice tolerance here is probably a medium spice level in some parts of the country, though sub-mild when it comes to Thai hot or Desi hot... it's all relative!).

Sooo, my husband and I really like an Australian band called Blank Realm. For some reason, their songs get played by the independent radio station of a local university. If you happen to have access to any merchandise of theirs or something due to being in Australia I guess I'd be interested (like shirts or pins or keychains or something... do bands still have keychains???). I don't think we have physical albums of theirs (we just have the music downloaded I think) so I guess that's another thought (CDs or records would both be okay).

I was fortunate enough to be gifted an entire collection of the Flower Letters-Lily Clara series. It's a story told through beautifully illustrated letters, pictures, diagrams, post cards etc. One snail mail letter at a time. This one is a story of a entreprenurial woman during the silver rush in the West and a bit of a mystery. The letters and details are gorgeous. I've finished reading it, would you like me to pass it along to you, witchee? Of course it would be in your last box, so I don't give my identity away.... Ooh. Yes please. I have one of those that came out a bazillion years ago. They are fascinating.
I make junk journals and paper crafts. I would probably have time to make a mini journal or a paper folio type thing. It would come decorated but with space to write and add your own touch or I could make a folio complete with address labels, stationery, stamps etc. to organize your writing goods. Would you like to receive one? My style is generally vintage but I could also do a Halloween one, winter holiday one, shabby chic or something of your suggestion.

I love baking but due to my allergies, I only work with gluten and dairy free ingredients these days. While you may not have these issues, is there a baked good you would love receiving even if it is gluten and dairy free? I also only use honey, maple syrup or coconut sugar, but I'm happy to use monk fruit if you'd prefer/need.
I grow a wide variety of herbs, are there any you need for your pantry? I have mugwort (which I can prepare for tea/spice use, bath use or smudge), thyme, winter savory, sage, various mints, rosemary, fennel (leaf and seed), and I'm certain I am forgetting somethings so feel free to ask.
If you have marjoram, my plant died. Mints for teas. I've never used winter savory & would love to try it if it co m es with a recipe.
I do basic embroidery. Is there a simple design or motif you might like? Like bats, spiders, spooky flowers, pumpkins or other such?
