Cellar Door’s update: maybe Black No 1, or Once Bitten
Sock Dreams, no thank you.
Dammann Freres looks utterly delightful. Jardin Bleu, and Paul and Virginie are seriously tempting.
Paintbox sorbettos are always wonderful. And Dead Leaves on the Dirty Ground is calling me hard.
Haus of Gloi - some bubbling scrub could be lovely. Maybe in Persephone’s Descent or Spider Silk.
I have no clue about pastel Halloween things, but pastels really aren’t my thing, so probably not.
BPAL Dragon Con/Weenies. So far, I think the one that really piques my interest is Caput Mortuum Dragon.
Lawardrop - if you were to turn out to be my witch, some slippers sound utterly decadent. As would some arm warmers. I’m not sure about baskets, they sound lovely, but I just worry about having space to use them the way they would deserve.
Also I do have an Amazon wish list so I will dig it out and link it, along with my Etsy list that’s asked about further down.
I do not have a Halloween tree. Much as the idea appeals, I don’t really have space for one, sadly. I do love the idea of ornaments that I can hang other places though.
I love the idea of a hair fall, but I don’t honestly know if I would wear one.
Witchy supplies, no thank you.
I love the idea of a custom artwork, but living in a rental makes hanging things a little problematic, so I need to say no thank you.
1. I'm in Japan, anything specific you would want from here? Nothing specific, but a Japanese surprise could be fun.
2. I just got back from Mongolia and brought a bunch of small souvenirs, how do you feel about small things from random countries?
Small things from random countries sound fun too!
3. I make custom ita rosettes/cases (pics here to explain what I mean. Is that something you might be interested in? If so, what type/colors/size/ etcetc
No thank you
Snorg tees - Existing Solely out of spite, Ok I won’t be doing any of that but thank you, and The Horrors Persist But So Do I are awesome. I’m a black tee for everything wearer, and a women’s 3XL
Bloom Chic - there’s some really cute stuff there, but I struggle wearing things that aren’t natural fibre, so I will need to pass on them.
I like making little flower arrangements with fake flowers; would you be interested in a mini bouquet (think, something that would fit in a bud vase)? If so, any seasonal/color scheme requests? That would be lovely but I fear my cats would find anything like entirely too tempting.
* Feelings on candles/wax melts?
I have more candles than I have space for right now.
* Feelings on crocheted wall art/mandalas? Color scheme requests? It sounds lovely, but I’m living in a rental right now, so hanging things is not really possible.

I have a wonderful coffee roaster near me, wood-roasted, small batch, regular and decaf, all roast types. It's so good, I won't buy coffee anywhere else, and I only drink dark roast decaf. IF this sounds good, whats your coffee desire, and beans or grind size? They are also a FULLY geeked out space with every video and arcade game known. so I would also send a sticker from them, so also include your favorite old 70's-80's cartoons or fandoms.
That sounds amazing! I don’t really drink decaf, but a good medium roast sounds blissful, as does something flavoured perhaps. Whole bean please! And for a 70s-80s fandom, Dr Who all the way.

1. Interested in anything from Cellar Door's Halloween update?
Michigan Moonglow, Sanderson Spice, Spooky Season, and Zombie Repellant all sound like they could be nice!
2. Anything from Sock Dreams catch your eye? (https://sockdreams.com)
The asexual crew socks, under the stars crew, hitchhiker’s guide crew, dragons and wizards crew, spooky shit crew, year of the dragon crew, venus fly trap crew, plant killer crew, whale shark bamboo crew and capybara orange are all kind of my aesthetic
3. I live in France, and we have some great tea here! Most folks know about Mariage Freres but may I suggest Damman Freres? Here's the link- they're still in summer mode, but I assure you, autumnal teas will grace their pages soon! (https://www.dammann.fr/en/)
I have quite a bit of tea >.> it’s a bit of a problem
4. Do you see anything you need from Paintbox Soapworks Weenie Update? New & Limited Edition - 2025 Weenie Collection - Page 1 - Paintbox Soapworks
Bit curious about Jack-of-the-Woods. Maybe the bath streusel or sugar scrub.
6. Speaking of updates, anything from Haus of Gloi's Fall offerings speak to you? (https://www.hausofgloi.com/collections/fall-1)
Most of those are pretty foody, but maybe Violet Moon?7. Also, I know we have barely scratched the surface in knowing what the Lab will release for Weenies, but a wishlist couldn't hurt, so what'll it be?
My wishlist is VERY out of date and I apologize immensely. I’m a simple child really, though. Leather, amber, incense, saffron, dragonsblood, resins, paper, maybe some smoke. Anything that’s mostly in that range I will probably try as long as it doesn’t have apple or chocolate. Specifically for the weenies, probably In Night When Colors, Dark Macademia, Skeleton Flash and MAYBE Headless Hearseman attracted my attention.8. How do you feel about the pastel Halloween offerings that are out?
I’m not usually much into pastel, usually more jewel tones or cool colors9. I'm one of those crafty sorts that make things. I make things by up cycling sweaters, for example - mittens, slippers, armwarmers (both solid or striped from multiple fabrics ). Could also make a tea cosy with a mat. I make bowls, mats & vessels from rope that I wrap with pretty cloth. So essentially, functional, useful fiberart. What might you like? Long striped armwarmers? A pair of slippers, decadently lined in cashmere?
I’m allergic to wool so I avoid fiberart in general so I’m not super aware of the options tbh…10. Do you have an amazon wishlist to be sure I don't duplicate a book?
Not currently, but I’ve been working on my StoryGraph! https://app.thestorygraph.com/profile/coltostallion
11. Do you have a Halloween Tree? Do you need ornaments?
I do not12. Do you have an Etsy wishlist?
Not currently, I used to be on there a lot but it’s gotten so full of dropship things that I stopped T_T13. As of this writing, Dragon Con Peach Pit scents have been revealed! Anything on your wishlist?
The peach scents didn’t interest me, but the Caput Mortuum Dragon, Melichrous Dragon, Puce Dragon, Glaucous Dragon, and Gamboge Dragon interested me.
14. I am a bit known for my extremely light-weight hand crafted hair falls (I typically make them out of a combination of yarns, batting, and bits of up cycled silks and lace). Would you like one (for a pony tail effect) or two (for a pigtail effect)? If so, name two or three colors and any allergies to fibers I should know about.
No thank you15. Do you have use for witchy supplies? Herbs, oils, crystals, etc. If so, what types and for what purpose(s)?
Not really, I’ve always kind of wanted to sage smudge things but idk why16. Would you be interested in custom artwork, such as a painting? If so, what mood, theme, colors, style, etc. would you be excited to see? If there's a dream, a dnd character, a favorite fairy tale, deity, etc. you'd love it to capture, spill those deets - including anything you wouldn't want (nudity, size restrictions, whatnot).
Physical maybe not, not a lot of space, digital my current boys are Dante and Yakumo from Nucarnival, Zack from FFVII, and Wen Ning from MDZS17. Snorg tees (http://snorgtees.com) has some hilarious and awesome new shirts. They are also reasonably priced. Please give me 3 of your fav designs and tee size/color if available for a color option.
I’m a simple child who still loves snarky tees so… quite a few… top 3… hmmm. Maybe Don’t Panic, It’s not Hoarding if its Books and The Horrors Persist But So Do I? I assume I’m M or L
18. BloomChic (http://bloomchic.com)has some pretty fun plus and smaller size halloween fashions. If you so desire, give me your top 3 favs with sizes!
Maybe the Laser Cut Halloween Halloween Contrast Lined Blouse, Pumpkin Embroidered Hem Solid T-Shirt, or Rayon Halloween Print Neck Tie-Up Blouse. They all seem stretchy so 10/M should be good? I’m right on the line for that size
19. I like making little flower arrangements with fake flowers; would you be interested in a mini bouquet (think, something that would fit in a bud vase)? If so, any seasonal/color scheme requests?
No thank you20. Feelings on candles/wax melts?
Don’t really use them21. Feelings on crocheted wall art/mandalas? Color scheme requests?
I don’t have room on my walls22. Australian Things
Timtams always welcome
23. Coffee
I don't drink coffee

(Current as of 8/25)
Interested in anything from Cellar Door's Halloween Update?
Basic Witch, October Road, or Spooky Season soaps!
Anything from Sock Dreams catch your eye? (https://sockdreams.com)
I could actually use socks! I like ankle/crew length, and love all of these:
https://sockdreams.com/collections/crew-socks-anklets/products/thistle-crew
https://sockdreams.com/products/fiddlewood-nybg-crew?_pos=41&_sid=b57880a87&_ss=r

https://sockdreams.com/collections/crew-socks-anklets/products/under-the-stars-crew
I live in France, and we have some great tea here! Most folks know about Mariage Freres but may I suggest Damman Freres? Here's the link- they're still in summer mode, but I assure you, autumnal teas will grace their pages soon! (https://www.dammann.fr/en/)
I do not see a tea here I would be mad about receiving; absolutely yes.
Do you see anything you need from Paintbox Soapworks Weenie Update?
Dead Leaves on the Dirty Ground sounds so nice (anything in that scent!)
Speaking of updates, anything from Haus of Gloi's Fall offerings speak to you? (https://www.hausofgloi.com/collections/fall-1)
The sugar scrubs or bubbling scrubs in Persephone's Descent or Red Roan would be divine.
Also, I know we have barely scratched the surface in knowing what the Lab will release for Weenies, but a wishlist couldn't hurt, so what'll it be?
I do like Dead Leaves, and the Dead Leaves and Apple Pie sounds really nice! Also always enjoy Samhains. Nothing else is really screaming out from the list at the moment.
How do you feel about the pastel Halloween offerings that are out?
Very in favor, adorable, I love! I have a bunch of cute pink Halloween cat things already.
SLIPPERS! Those sound so incredible. All of this just sounds really lovely.
Do you have an amazon wishlist to be sure I don't duplicate a book?
I do! Here: https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/Z9L2NMPLAXRP?ref_=wl_share
Do you have a Halloween Tree? Do you need ornaments?
No BUT I would absolutely put Halloween ornaments on my Christmas tree.
Do you have an Etsy wishlist?
Yes! Here: https://www.etsy.com/people/thesaturnine?ref=hdr-fav&tab=items
(Note: retromarlene is my mom's store! I favorite all of her stuff on pain of lecture, so you can ignore those
.)
As of this writing, Dragon Con Peach Pit scents have been revealed! Anything on your wishlist?
None of those are really screaming out to me!
No thank you!
Do you have use for witchy supplies? Herbs, oils, crystals, etc. If so, what types and for what purpose(s)?
If you have any imps of TALs kicking around I always love trying those, or any beeswax candles (I like the ones from Nui Cobalt very much). Anything for staying centered and focused and calm. I have a fair number of crystals, but any small stones are always welcome.
150% yes! I love owls (and Athena), cats (and Sekhmet), and crows (and the Morrigan). Really no restrictions, go wild.
Welp, the list of what will fully be available over the Dragon Con weekend (and a preview of Weenies!) is now available! I already asked the Peach Pit question, but now there's heaps more, so gimme your wishlist!!!
I love the sounds of:
- SANG-DE-BOEUF DRAGON
- FLAME-OF-BURNT-BRANDY DRAGON
- GAMBOGE DRAGON (ATMO SPRAY)
- DEAD LEAVES AND APPLE PIE
- I'm in Japan, anything specific you would want from here?
Stationary! Especially cute greeting cards and pens... any Chococat stuff (he's really hard to find over here now for some reason?)
- I just got back from Mongolia and brought a bunch of small souvenirs, how do you feel about small things from random countries?
!!! yes!!!
- I make custom ita rosettes/cases (pics here to explain what I mean https://tinyurl.com/mwtwmvfm). Is that something you might be interested in? If so, what type/colors/size/ etcetcNo thank you! But they are very cute.
- Snorg tees has some hilarious and awesome new shirts. They are also reasonably priced. Please give me 3 of your fav designs and tee size/color if available for a color option.
website is snorgtees.com
How have I missed this website??? Only three?! Dying. Size small, any color!
https://www.snorgtees.com/products/bat-and-robin-womens-signature-tee?variant=41577194913924
- BloomChic has some pretty fun plus and smaller size halloween fashions. If you so desire, give me your top 3 favs with sizes! website is bloomchic.com
Nothing jumps out!
My questions:
* I like making little flower arrangements with fake flowers; would you be interested in a mini bouquet? If so, any seasonal/color scheme requests?
Sure thing, me! I like purples and oranges together, maybe something autumnal.
* Feelings on candles/wax melts?
No thank you to candles; wax melts are okay!
* Feelings on crocheted wall art/mandalas?
Sure!

Switch Witch 2025!
Amazon wishlist: here (NOTE: I am not sure if this shows you my wishlist of books, or if this also gives you access to a separate wishlist called "Non-books." If this gives you access to "Non-books," please disregard. That list isn't especially prurient or anything but I rarely look at or update it so it certainly contains things I don't need currently.
Cellar Door Fall Collection:
If they still have a Once Bitten candle I'd love that. It's my fave of their Halloween scents but I'd prefer that over the soap since somehow I never used my bar of it from last year. But if they only have the soap I'll take that instead! Other scents that'd work for soap include Lavender Pumpkin, Black No. 1, and Spooky Season.
Sock Dreams:
Not at this time, will update if that changes.
Damman Freres Tea:
This site is a little hard for my poor old/slow computer to understand, so I hope I am looking at it right. Remember that I will not use loose tea, so if I am mentioning something that is only available in loose tea, it is a mistake. Noel, Jardin Bleu, Gout Russe Douchka, Bali, the Green Mint and Minty Teas, Rooibos Carrot Cake, Coquelicot Gourmand, Christmas Tea (green or black) all sound good.
Paintbox Weenies:
Soap or Bath Streusel in Phantasma or The Grey Hound
Haus of Gloi fall?
Pumpkin Butter: Blood Orange Marshmallow, Ghost Puffs, Little Hedgehog, or Spider Silk
Candles: Little Hedgehog or Violet Moon
Pastel Halloween/traveling during round:
Pastel Halloween things are fine. As for traveling during the round, I am going to be out of town on Halloween itself, but that is just staying in a hotel in one of the nearby large cities for one night.
Functional, useful fiberart:
Gosh, slippers decadently lined in cashmere are hard to pass up!
I do not have a Halloween Tree. However, I could display Halloween ornaments in other ways and have in the past.
I do not have an etsy wishlist as I rarely if ever look at etsy these days. I might look at etsy again if needed in order to spoil my Witchee though!
I would not wear hair falls.
Do you have use for witchy supplies? Herbs, oils, crystals, etc. If so, what types and for what purpose(s)?
Eh... I have a very nice witchy store in my town, just went there yesterday and got some black tourmaline and a room spray. I have a LOT of crystals already and currently they are just in a box in the kitchen. So if you see one crystal or trinket you think I'd really like that's fine, but as mentioned in my questionnaire, I don't really want someone else sourcing specific spellwork items for me or something.
Would you be interested in custom artwork, such as a painting?
No thank you.
Dragon Con Redux:
Plastic Rats and Dark Macadamia sound worth a try.
I'm in Japan, anything specific you would want from here?
For this question, usually I just say that whatever is in line with previously stated preferences would be great. Since in my original questionnaire I mentioned green tea flavored chocolate, that's still a thought, including in the green tea kitkat application. We usually also get a question about seasonal kitkats in general, so again, if it seems like I'd like the flavor, go for it! Japan also has many fun flavors of potato chips, potato sticks, etc. (I have some "Hokkaido Butter" flavored ones right now that I got from Daiso), those also sound good right now. I can update this question if I think of another specific product.
Mongolian souvenirs/small things from random countries:
This sounds great, actually.
Custom ita rosettes/cases:
No thank you.
3 fave snorgtees:
1. Correlation Does Not Imply Causation, Women's Signature Tee 2XL Black
2.TRY 2 MORE TIMES SO THAT YOUR FAILURE IS STATISTICALLY SIGNIFICANT, Women's Signature Tee 2XL Dark Grey Heather
3. Fear is the Mind Killer Cat, Women's Signature Tee 2XL Berry
I am not a fan of bloomchic based on the one order I made from them (which was just last year, but was not a Halloween item).
* I like making little flower arrangements with fake flowers; would you be interested in a mini bouquet (think, something that would fit in a bud vase)?
No thank you.
* Feelings on candles/wax melts?
I think I've already been fairly effusive about candles here, and I know that in my questionnaire I state that i don't want/use wax melts (though I think I refer to them as "wax tarts").
* Feelings on crocheted wall art/mandalas? Color scheme requests?
Sounds intriguing. Plenty of information about color preferences in my questionnaire.
Australian goodies:
If there are Tim Tams you think I might like, or any other treat that seems to be in line with my preferences, that's fine! Just no musk lifesavers, haha! As for the local Australian tea blender mentioned, it seemed like they only do loose tea, which I will not use, so I guess not!
I have a wonderful coffee roaster near me, wood-roasted, small batch, regular and decaf, all roast types. IF this sounds good, whats your coffee desire, and beans or grind size? I would also send a sticker from them, so also include your favorite old 70's-80's cartoons or fandoms:
Coffee preferences are also in my questionnaire. As review, medium roast, whole bean, not flavored. Old cartoons... Thundercats? Space Ghost? Jem?

It’s almost time for The Hunger Games!
You’re invited to join me in SPACE (Signum Portals for Adult Continuing Education) online via Signum University to talk about all five books in The Hunger Games series! The first module has been confirmed to run in September 2025.
What lessons do the Capitol and Districts have to teach us? What warnings should we heed? What road leads from here to Panem? Over the course of five months, participants in these SPACE modules will read and discuss a modern classic of dystopian storytelling, The Hunger Games series by Suzanne Collins.
In this hybrid series, each week will include one lecture and one live discussion. The lectures will examine the inspirations behind, allusions in, and questions posed by that month’s novel. In live discussions, participants will share their insights on, interpretations of, and reactions to the story. Together we will consider why this series has spoken to so many readers and explore how its messages remain relevant today.

Switch Witch 2025
Ok, In order to help my witch out, I have stopped being lazy and will keep my answers in my blog from now on
Interested in anything from Cellar Door's Halloween update? Not this time, thanks.
Anything from Sock Dreams catch your eye? (https://sockdreams.com) Not really, thanks.
I live in France, and we have some great tea here! Most folks know about Mariage Freres but may I suggest Damman Freres? Here's the link- they're still in summer mode, but I assure you, autumnal teas will grace their pages soon! (https://www.dammann.fr/en/) I am pretty stocked up on tea at this point.Do you see anything you need from Paintbox Soapworks Weenie Update? New & Limited Edition - 2025 Weenie Collection - Page 1 - Paintbox Soapworks. I love their sorbettos and Jack of the Woods appeals to me. I also love the Clean slate facial scrub and the bookkeepers hand salve. Tiger paste hand scrub looks excellent as well (my hands and cuticles are a disaster!)
Speaking of updates, anything from Haus of Gloi's Fall offerings speak to you? (https://www.hausofgloi.com/collections/fall-1) I do like their pumpkin butters a lot. The scents that I'd be interested in are Ghost puffs, Olde Cider Haus, Scarecrow, or Pink Bubblegum.
Also, I know we have barely scratched the surface in knowing what the Lab will release for Weenies, but a wishlist couldn't hurt, so what'll it be? I updated my wishlist in my signatureHow do you feel about the pastel Halloween offerings that are out? I actually like them. I am going to decorate my kitchen in pastel Halloween, my patio room with my Halloween tree, and the rest of my house with Vintage style Halloween.
Slippers would be awesome and cashmere lined? Wow. A rope basket sounds lovely too.
do you have an amazon wishlist to be sure I don't duplicate a book? I just updated my Amazon wishlist, but I don't have any books on it right now. I'm definitely up for my witch passing on books they have read and no longer need. I added my Etsy Wishlist as well.
Do you have a Halloween Tree? Do you need decorations? I just got a 2 ft black tree this year. I have decorations but would welcome a special ornament from my witch. I added some ideas on my Etsy wishlist of my style.
Hair falls? They sound lovely but I'm afraid I don't have enough hair to pull one off.
Witchy supplies? No, thanks
Custom artwork? Sure. Maybe something abstract? Not too big.
Dragon Con? Early Weenie preview? The most interesting to me are listed below. Don't need a bottle of any of these but a decant would be fine just to try them.
Black eyeliner
Peach Lipgloss
Chartreuse Dragon
Glaucous Dragon
Dark Macademia
Witch Flash

Anything from Haus of Gloi's Fall offerings speak to you? (https://www.hausofgloi.com/collections/fall-1)
Bubbling scrub in Kitchen Witch or Spider Silk and/or Refresher Spray in Cozy Apple or Olde Cider Haus
Weenies wishlist? Will update once the full announcement is out, but as far as the teasers go, The Hag and Hiss & Hearse sound gorgeous.
How do you feel about the pastel Halloween offerings that are out?
I lean more towards nature-inspired decor, but if it's on something like a notepad or t-shirt it'd be cute (especially if purple or mint)
Will you be away for part of the round?
I will be away the week after it ends (11/9-11/15), but my partner will be home, so late packages will be safe but my squee'ing will be delayed.
Fiberart - What might you like? Long striped armwarmers? A pair of slippers, decadently lined in cashmere?
Lined slippers sound oh so lovely!
Do you have an amazon wishlist to be sure I don't duplicate a book?
linked at the top
Do you have a Halloween Tree? Do you need ornaments?
No, but I do have some wall hooks I sometimes hang ornaments from, so a flat ornament could make a seasonal home there.
Do you have an Etsy wishlist?
also linked at the top
Dragon Con Peach Pit scents have been revealed! Anything on your wishlist? (Including the Dragons here too)
Nothing's catching my eye from these.
Would you like [a hair fall] (for a pony tail effect) or two (for a pigtail effect)?
I've never worn one, so I'm not sure if it'd work with short hair? If it would, then a mermaid-themed one would be really cool - sea green mixed with colors to blend into my mix of salt and (mostly) pepper.
Do you have use for witchy supplies? Herbs, oils, crystals, etc. If so, what types and for what purpose(s)?
I'm well stocked on herbs and oils (though the new Golden Honeycomb TAL has caught my eye), but incense, chime candles, and crystals are very welcome. Anything for energy, focus, or creative expression/writing would be :chef's kiss:
Would you be interested in custom artwork, such as a painting? If so, what mood, theme, colors, style, etc. would you be excited to see? If there's a dream, a dnd character, a favorite fairy tale, deity, etc. you'd love it to capture, spill those deets - including anything you wouldn't want (nudity, size restrictions, whatnot).
Yes - as long as it's not too heavy (I'm in a rental and use command strips instead of nails). I tend to like art that's either very stylized (like art nouveau) or abstract and/or textured (check out my pinterest for examples). As for colors, I like all shades of green and blue-green, but also punchy peaches and deep dark purples, as well metallics and weathered papers. Mixed media is welcome. For the theme, anything inspired by Tarot, fairy tales, fae, goddesses, or the ocean would be cool, as I lean towards the dreamy and fantastical.

Interested in anything from Cellar Door's Halloween update?
I had not heard of this company until now, but Basic Witch, Graveyard Smash, Once Bitten, and Zombie Repellent all sound really good.
Anything from Sock Dreams catch your eye? (https://sockdreams.com)
The Longer Ringmaster Stripes in Buggy D. Burgundy, the Oops! Gossamer Stripes in Daffodil, and the Longer Extraordinary Thigh Highs in Spice, Teal, Lilac, and Forest all look good.
I live in France, and we have some great tea here! Most folks know about Mariage Freres but may I suggest Damman Freres? Here's the link- they're still in summer mode, but I assure you, autumnal teas will grace their pages soon! (https://www.dammann.fr/en/)
There are too many teas on here that sound exceptionally good!
I'd love to try Bali, poire marron glace, blanc d'oranger, the des trois fleurs, maybe earl grey mandarin
Do you see anything you need from Paintbox Soapworks Weenie Update? New & Limited Edition - 2025 Weenie Collection - Page 1 - Paintbox Soapworks
No, but I would be interested in sniffing Jack-of-the-Woods, Phantasma, and the Grey Hound.
Speaking of updates, anything from Haus of Gloi's Fall offerings speak to you? (https://www.hausofgloi.com/collections/fall-1)
Most of those sound amazing. I'd love to sniff Apple Milk, Autumn Bouquet, Blood Orange Marshmallow, Cozy Apple, and Little Hedgehog.
Also, I know we have barely scratched the surface in knowing what the Lab will release for Weenies, but a wishlist couldn't hurt, so what'll it be?I don't have any idea... I suppose if there are literary vampire scents like they had forever ago, or a favorite gets rezzed/turned into gloss?
How do you feel about the pastel Halloween offerings that are out?
The peach, mint, lilac, and light teal I could totally work into my decor. Also, I've been seeing a couple of things in 90s acid green that I would 100% be incorporating with what I already have-- if that counts as a pastel?
So, while a completely girly pastel Halloween look doesn't really speak to me, the colors could definitely work with a lot of what I already have, since most of those are either dark or the vibrant variations of the pastel colors. Dark Rainbow Halloween!

2025 My Answers to Switch Witch Questions!
Interested in anything from Cellar Door's Halloween update?
Candles or Soap: Black #1, Once Bitten, Spooky Season, Sanderson Spice, Lavender Pumpkin
Also/Or (not Halloween): Sex Machine, Hunter's Moon, Midnight Rider, Lavender Fields
Anything from Sock Dreams catch your eye? (https://sockdreams.com)
I have huge feet (12 US women) and plus size calves (ice skating + horseback riding) so most socks really aren't my thing. That being said, in the Plus Size section I like:
Moon Phases crew and Just a Phase crew
I live in France, and we have some great tea here! Most folks know about Mariage Freres but may I suggest Damman Freres? Here's the link- they're still in summer mode, but I assure you, autumnal teas will grace their pages soon! (https://www.dammann.fr/en/)
Now we're talking!!! I love loose leaf tea, mostly black but I do like a few tissanes (mostly ones with licorice root or perhaps hibiscus.) I love rose, lavender, anise/fennel/licorice, vanilla, butterscotch, peach, honey, jasmine...
I do not like coffee in my tea, nor do I like rooibos, honeybush, mate, or puer eh. Or chamomile.
If you could find me a tea that is black with apples and fennel, I would be so happy! There was one from August tea called Dots and Loops with that mix and it was soooo good. Now discontinued of course.
From Damman what catches my eye so far (and I also have a ton on my Amazon Beverage list from way back when we could use the universal wishlist tool to add things from other pages):
Black flavored:
Pink (black tea & rose)
Bourbon (black tea, vanilla, caramel)
Nosy Bey (black tea, vanilla, peach)
Licorice!!! (black tea, licorice)
Caramel (black tea, caramel, chocolate)
Vineyard Peach (black tea, peach)
Violet (black tea, violet)
Spice Flakes (black tea, orange, gingerbread)
Christmas in Provence (black tea, honey, fig, strawberry)
Smokey Black:
Smokey Lapsang
Smokey Tarry
Smokey Crocodile
Fujisan Souchong
Sakura Souchong
Souchong Malt
Oolong:
Milk Oolong Original (oolong, cream)
Herbal:
Fennel Mint
Mint Licorice
Cocoa:
Cocoa Spices
Cocoa Orange

Fairytale Bath Struesel, The Grey Hound wax melts.
From "Season of the Witch": Black Sun bath streusel
Speaking of updates, anything from Haus of Gloi's Fall offerings speak to you?
scents: Blood Orange Marshmallow, Ghost Puffs
mediums: fall soy wax tarts, candles, refresher spray, sugar exfoliants
Also, I know we have barely scratched the surface in knowing what the Lab will release for Weenies, but a wishlist couldn't hurt, so what'll it be?Not weenies per se, but I would be interested in trying Snake Bouquet and Snake in the Grass. Maybe Pumpkin Funnel Cake depending on how cakey and delicious it is. For weenies, In Night when Colors all to Black are Cast! I'm quite curious about Black Eyeliner, Plastic Rats, Gummi Fangs, Vintage Kitty Blow Molds, Devil Flash...
How do you feel about the pastel Halloween offerings that are out?
I like black and jewel tones and dark colors. No pastels please.
I would love things like the tea cosy with mat, bowls, vessels, etc. I am too warm 99.999999% of the time and wearables would be wasted on me.
do you have an amazon wishlist to be sure I don't duplicate a book?
Yes, it's in my signature in the circular swap help.
Do you have a Halloween Tree? Do you need ornaments?
Yes and yes and yes and yes and ... yes
Do you have an Etsy wishlist?
Yes, also linked in circular swap help.
As of this writing, Dragon Con Peach Pit scents have been revealed! Anything on your wishlist?
The Gamboge Dragon atmosphere spray sounds interesting as does the Cerise Dragon hair gloss. Maybe Bastard-Amber dragon perfume oil.
I am a bit known for my extremely light-weight hand crafted hair falls (I typically make them out of a combination of yarns, batting, and bits of up cycled silks and lace). Would you like one (for a pony tail effect) or two (for a pigtail effect)? If so, name two or three colors and any allergies to fibers I should know about.I never go anywhere and I have a mostly shaved head so probably not.
Do you have use for witchy supplies? Herbs, oils, crystals, etc. If so, what types and for what purpose(s)?
I love all kinds of witchy supplies but I don't have anything in mind right now.
Yassss! A painting or maybe a tattoo design?!? I now have four bats on my left arm along with with a moon. I would love more tattoos -- these ones are just flash from Friday the 13th specials. I'd love a huge bat on my back whose wings wrap around me (there is some armor in Diablo IV that is similar to what I'd like, lol), an ankh, celtic or nordic inspired horses, hippocampus (fairy tale creature), dogs (blue pit bulls especially), ravens, bats.... I'm partial to black and white monochrome, blues/purples/blacks/greys, gothic, celtic, nordic, etc.
I'm in Japan, anything specific you would want from here?
Delicious kit kats of course! I don't know what else is available though.
I just got back from Mongolia and brought a bunch of small souvenirs, how do you feel about small things from random countries?
It really depends .. I have so much clutter that I don't especially want knick knacks or things that sit on flat surfaces with no purpose.
I make custom ita rosettes/cases (pics here to explain what I mean https://tinyurl.com/mwtwmvfm. Is that something you might be interested in? If so, what type/colors/size/etc. etc.
I'm sorry, these are not my style. Gorgeous though!
Snorg tees (http://snorgtees.com) has some hilarious and awesome new shirts. They are also reasonably priced. Please give me 3 of your fav designs and tee size/color if available for a color option.
Pretty much any of the Monty Python, Princess Bride, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Lydia Deetz, Don't Blink (Doctor Who), Firefly, Don't Torture Yourself (that's my job), Nightmare before Coffee, Haters Gonna Hate Pit, Krampus ones, some of the Stranger Things, etc.
Women's Signature, always black or grey, probably a 3xl.
BloomChic (http://bloomchic.com) has some pretty fun plus and smaller size halloween fashions. If you so desire, give me your top 3 favs with sizes!
I'm an 18/20 from Lane Bryant, so maybe from here too? I like the skeletal rib invisible zipper romper (black) but maybe in a larger size - 3x? The color block bats button down shirt, probably in the 2x. Bat print stretchy textured zipper hoodie maybe in the 4x? I like over size zip up hoodies.
I like making little flower arrangements with fake flowers; would you be interested in a mini bouquet (think, something that would fit in a bud vase)? If so, any seasonal/color scheme requests?
Feelings on candles/wax melts?
Feelings on crocheted wall art/mandalas? Color scheme requests?

2025 Switch Witch Questions
Switch witch 2025 questions
Interested in anything from Cellar Door's Halloween update?
Once Bitten or Basic witch soap or candles look yummy, or any of the apple/cider scents.
Anything from Sock Dreams catch your eye? (https://sockdreams.com)
I adore sock dreams, any of the knee high stripes, esp the pride flag, marled and harvest lines. I’d also love to try any of the thunder thighs thigh highs because they might actually fit and stay up for once. I adore the sockwell compression knee highs and can never have enough, esp in colors other than black (m/l). The rainbow snail knee highs are cute, as are the rainbow crochet net tights
I live in France, and we have some great tea here! Most folks know about Mariage Freres but may I suggest Damman Freres? Here's the link- they're still in summer mode, but I assure you, autumnal teas will grace their pages soon! (https://www.dammann.fr/en/)
The oolong Caramel looks fantastic (i love caramel teas but they are hard to find the US. one of my favorite teas is just like a generic lipton caramel black tea from france that I was gifted by a friend and cannot find here at all). fraise pistache, vanille almande, vanille, highlands breakfast, tea de poetes, 2nd flush assam, sencha tenu, gamnong
New Question Do you see anything you need from Paintbox Soapworks Weenie Update?
New & Limited Edition - 2025 Weenie Collection - Page 1 - Paintbox Soapworks
Pumpkin daddy and jack of the woods look intriguing. Scrub or Soap.
New Questions!
Speaking of updates, anything from Haus of Gloi's Fall offerings speak to you? (https://www.hausofgloi.com/collections/fall-1)Apple milk or little hedgehog hair oil, scrub, or refresher spray. Pumpkin eater and spider silk also sound nice but not sure if I'd get much use out of them. For GC scents coffee House and Satyr would also be lovely.
Also, I know we have barely scratched the surface in knowing what the Lab will release for Weenies, but a wishlist couldn't hurt, so what'll it be?Punkie night is always a good choice and bobbing for smut is on my list (I have pumpkin smut & regular smut and love both). Any of the weenie versions of classics like snake oil would be good too.
How do you feel about the pastel Halloween offerings that are out? I actually like them. I am going to decorate my kitchen in pastel Halloween, my patio room with my Halloween tree, and the rest of my house with Vintage style Halloween.
I love pastels! Cute pastel rainbow and spooky is my vibe, so definitely a yes for me.
I seem to remember that previous questionnaires asked if you will be away for part of the round. I will be visiting my Aunt in New York from October 22-Nov. 2, so my witch may want to time my packages a little early. If not, my husband will be home to safeguard any packages.
Nope, I'll be around the whole time.
I'm one of those crafty sorts that make things. I make things by up cycling sweaters, for example - mittens, slippers, armwarmers (both solid or striped from multiple fabrics ). Could also make a tea cosy with a mat.I make bowls, mats & vessels from rope that I wrap with pretty cloth. So essentially, functional, useful fiberart.
What might you like? Long striped armwarmers? A pair of slippers, decadently lined in cashmere?
Fingerless mitts are always wanted! I have chronically cold hands and work with them so having a warm pair of mitts to keep my fingers moving is essential. I live in a fairly warmish climate (my first winter here never dipped below 50, but last year we had snow). I also wouldn't mind leg warmers or a bowl/receptacle for knick-knacks.
Oh bonus question- do you have an amazon wishlist to be sure I don't duplicate a book?
I do. I'll add a link in my sig but here it is for now:
https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/12DYTM8OTGJXQ?ref_=wl_share
New Questions
Do you have a Halloween Tree? Do you need ornaments?
I do have a Christmas tree that I decorate spookily for Xmas. It's white iridescent tinsel and I have a bunch of bats and regular ornaments I put on. I don't necessarily need anything for the tree but if you found any spooky themed Hanukah items I'd lose my mind.
Do you have an Etsy wishlist?
I do! I'm trying to update it a bit and remove stuff for old projects.so if you see 4 pages of similar craft items that's what that was about 😅
https://www.etsy.com/people/crescentwench?ref=hdr-fav&tab=items
QUESTIONS!
As of this writing, Dragon Con Peach Pit scents have been revealed! Anything on your wishlist?
Im not fiending for any of the peach scents. Peach chai hair oil, peach milk oil and peach rock candy linen spray sound pretty good. I'm more into the dragon scents - Bastard Amber Dragon and Capuut Mortem dragon are both right up my alley, and griege dragon has potential to be a winner for me if the sandalwood will behave.
Okay updating now the full dcon list is out, in a sort of vague preference rank-
Bastard Amber Dragon
Caput mortem dragon
Griege dragon
Sang de beouf dragon
Cerise dragon
Tarantula flash
Devil flash
Vintage kitty blow molds
Hiss & hearse
Headless hearseman
Pumpkin root beer float
Lime green hearse
Pumpkin latte
Samhain
Peach rock candy
Pink peach strawberry & candied amber
Peach chai
Sugared Peach milk
I am a bit known for my extremely light-weight hand crafted hair falls (I typically make them out of a combination of yarns, batting, and bits of up cycled silks and lace). Would you like one (for a pony tail effect) or two (for a pigtail effect)? If so, name two or three colors and any allergies to fibers I should know about.
I probably won't wear these much. I have some that haven't come out in years at this point.
New questions:
Do you have use for witchy supplies? Herbs, oils, crystals, etc. If so, what types and for what purpose(s)?
Not particularly. I wouldn't mind some tarot cards (I've been drooling over fyodor Pavlov's set for years) or some herbs and oils for kitchen witchery purposes (i.e. cooking) but I don't really do any rituals or formal practice.
I love artwork!
Favorite styles: art nouveau, cartoon/graphic style (like anime or tattoo art, bright colors and lots of line work), soft & colorful (think impressionist, pastels)
Favorite artists: Jiji Knight, John William Waterhouse, Mucha, Monet, malina dowling (voidbug), gawki
Favorite subjects: gorgeous curvy ladies, plants & animals, spooky things like ghosts, bats, baba yaga, mythical creatures, pokemon, historical fashion esp 18th century.
1. I'm in Japan, anything specific you would want from here?
I'm in love with several of the japan exclusive le creuset items, esp the soup spoons. I also adore Japanese stationary (gel pens, corrector tape, stamps, etc) and j + k beauty products. I've also been pining for Vivienne Westwood (real or inspired by) jewelry which seems much more prevalent there.
2. I just got back from Mongolia and brought a bunch of small souvenirs, how do you feel about small things from random countries?
I love random souvenirs and knicknacks from random countries
3. I make custom ita rosettes/cases (pics here to explain what I mean https://tinyurl.com/mwtwmvfm). Is that something you might be interested in? If so, what type/colors/size/ etcetc
I like those! I don't have that type of pin so maybe a hair bow? Or a full rosette I could use for historical costumes would be awesome. My colors are pretty prevalently mentioned in above questions but greens, peaches, springy colors and rainbow/pastel rainbow
* I like making little flower arrangements with fake flowers; would you be interested in a mini bouquet? If so, any seasonal/color scheme requests?
Probably not, I hate dusting fake flowers so probably not a great fit for me.
* Feelings on candles/wax melts?
I don't mind candles but I only ever use them in the bathroom and never use wax melts.
* Feelings on crocheted wall art/mandalas? Color scheme requests?
I'd be down with that. Pastel rainbow or green/peach/pink/yellow springy colors
NEW QUESTIONS!
1) Snorg tees has some hilarious and awesome new shirts. They are also reasonably priced. Please give me 3 of your fav designs and tee size/color if available for a color option.
website is snorgtees.com
I don't particularly need new t-shirts but I do like these designs.
visit Sark Chasm - green 2xl
Fluent in fowl language - navy 2xl
cake or death - black 2xl
2) BloomChic has some pretty fun plus and smaller size halloween fashions. If you so desire, give me your top 3 favs with sizes! website is bloomchic.com
not for me. I'm not really into fast fashion or non-natural fibers. \
Jumping in as *I think* the only Australian, is there anything specifically Australian you might like? I think Tim Tams are probably the most commonly coveted/procured goodie I could offer.
I can't think of anything specific. I don't have strong feelings about tim tams having gone gluten free before having access to any. But if you have such a thing as gluten free jaffa cakes I'd be absolutely floored.I also have a local tea blender just down the street from me if there is anything from there you might like to try https://teahouse-the-tea-specialty-shop.myshopify.com/?shpxid=5b923712-0d5e-474a-8d56-451b0c319c78
black - caramel cream , vanilla or any of the breakfast varieties
I have a wonderful coffee roaster near me, wood-roasted, small batch, regular and decaf, all roast types. It's so good, I won't buy coffee anywhere else, and I only drink dark roast decaf. IF this sounds good, whats your coffee desire, and beans or grind size? They are also a FULLY geeked out space with every video and arcade game known. so I would also send a sticker from them, so also include your favorite old 70's-80's cartoons or fandoms.
I need the caffeine (see above, adhd) but I prefer lighter roasts and I'd rather have whole bean since I don't drink coffee super often and prefer to grind it fresh. I also love flavored coffees like (i'm sure it's not a surprise at this point) vanilla or caramel.
As far as 70/80s cartoons/fandoms mainly the muppets, monty python, labyrinth, princess bride. I mostly watched PBS and wasn't allowed video games as a kid so I'm mostly familiar with newer stuff despite being born in '82.

Lupercalia 2025 breakdown
Might take a couple days to get through this! There are lots of "maybes" this time. Posting here because I want to come back and edit, probably multiple times.
Box of Chocolates 2025
Choco-Goblin Perfume OilCoconut covered chocolate lumps, gnarly patchouli, and sweet benzoin.
Pass - not usually a big chocolate fan (in my perfume), but I am interested in the white chocolate ones. (Sometimes there are exceptions though). I like Goblin but this combination doesn't sound great to me.
Choco-TKO Perfume OilA soporific dessert: Hidcote lavender, golden hops, and vanilla bean dusted with cacao.
Pass - have enough TKO in various forms.
Chocubus Perfume OilFrozen white chocolate and the heart-stopping chill of sheared mint, fanned by caramel-touched body heat, and the diabolical sensuality of black musk, nicotiana, and sage.
Interested, decant? I tried Incubus a long time ago and it's fine but I never wear it (I think it gave me nightmares or something), but this combination of notes has potential.
Horreur Choco-Tique Perfume OilDark chocolate, ruby cocoa, blood musk, golden honey, thick black wine, champagne grapes, tobacco flower, plum blossom, tonka bean, oakmoss, carnation, benzoin, opoponax, and sugar cane.
Pass - mainly due to honey, we don't get along. Although looking at this I wonder if it smells anything like Temple Viper? It's a stretch but TV gives me grape + incense vibes, and they do share the sugar cane note.
Sea Foams Chocolate Perfume OilWhite chocolate froth and marshmallow fluff cresting on an ocean wave. Don’t drink it!
Interested! I really liked Supposed To Be A Pretzel, I know this isn't the same but still my mind is connecting them for some reason. Decant.
The Dark Chocolate Rider Perfume OilDark chocolate, leather, sweet myrrh, tobacco absolute, and black amber.
The Ruby Chocolate Rider Perfume OilRuby chocolate, red leather, red musk, red berries, red mosses, balsam, and passion flower cordial.
The White Chocolate Rider Perfume OilWhite chocolate, frothed milk, sandalwood, and leather.
Don't need any of the Riders, tried them when they first came out and they weren't for me.
White Chocolate Rabbit Perfume OilWhite chocolate filled with black tea and cream, splooged with white pepper, ginger, honey and vanilla.
Interested, I like gc White Rabbit and also the snow one, and I'd like to try this one too. Decant.
Girth of Venus
Cake for Breakfast Perfume Oil
Peach silk, cherry fizz, pain au chocolat, and a cup of generously creamed black tea.
Pass but it was close.
Erotes’ Valentine Perfume OilPink buttercream roses, wingbeats of pearly suede, and whorls of dark musk.
Pass - for now
Mars and Venus Perfume OilA stolen moment preserved for eternity in a gleaming amber jewel, entombed in malachite swirls of oakmoss and velvet.
Pass, pretty confident on this one.
The Crimson Perfume OilBurnished rosewood, clove cigarette smoke, oozing apple slices, and plum cashmere cushions fouled with trickles of labdanum.
Pass on this one.
The Pearl Perfume OilA salt-encrusted cocoon overflowing with almond blossoms, sweet patchouli, and dried peony petals whipped into orris butter.
I feel like I have more than one thing like this already but not sure. Pass for now.
Lupercalia 2025
Amoretti LXXV Perfume OilA great and golden love: immortal, undying, infinite. A love brightly burned into the stone of eternity: golden amber and scarlet musk, black vanilla absolute, red apple, Siamese benzoin, and sweet fig.
Pass, mostly because of apple, it tends to take over the whole scent on my skin and ends up smelling like shampoo.
Like the Very Gods Perfume OilShuddering, sweat-warmed skin gleaming with sheer musk, honeyed olive blossoms, vanilla cedar, white sandalwood, and orris butter.
Pass for sure because of the honeyed part, I know it would dominate on me.
Luperci Perfume OilThis scent is for the Luperci, the Chosen of Faunus, the Brothers of the Wolf: raw, down and dirty patchouli, Gurjam balsam, and essence of Sampson Root sweetened with the heightened sexuality of beeswax, virile juniper, oakmoss, ambrette seed over honey and East African musk.
Pass, tried before and didn't work for me.
Penetralia Perfume OilThat heavenly spot where creamy, angel-pink hibiscus petals meet the pale, juicy-green pistil.
Pass, for now but could change my mind. I don't really know what hibiscus smells like.
Pink Fuzzy Handcuffs Perfume OilIt’s not quite as fun when you lose the key. Pink cotton candy, candied rose, and vanilla sugar.
Pass, pretty confidently. I like some sweet scents but this sounds VERY sweet.
Red Lantern Perfume OilA tribute to the opium den cum bawdyhouses of Shanghai in the 1930’s. Golden amber, blonde tobacco, Sudanese black coconut, rich caramel, black currant, white opium and delphinium laced with a sensual blend of Asian spice.
I will pass for now. I think I tried this before and didn't get alomg with it.
Rose Milk Tea Perfume OilAn impossibly sweet concoction of green tea and frothed almond milk poured over fresh rose petals and glistening tapioca pearls.
Had to really think about it but I'm going to pass for now. I'm not really in the mood for rose right now.
Smut Perfume Oil
We are the smuttiest. Three swaggering, smutty musks sweetened with sugar and woozy with dark booze notes.
Like it, but my 1 bottle is enough.
Snake Skin Perfume OilA sinuous leather variant of BPALs Snake Oil.
Have it and don't need more.
The Elephant is Slow to Mate Perfume OilA rolling, unhurried, volcanic passion sustained by a love that is slow, shy, patient, and wise – and expressed through a scent as warm, languorous, luxuriant, and comforting as a cloak of heavy, soft red velvet: deep burgundy musk, red labdanum, smoked rose petals, opoponax, 17-year aged patchouli, blackened vanilla bean, dried black cherries, blackberries, and tobacco absolute.
Have it and don't need more, although I should try it again, it has been a while.
The Serpent in the Carnations Perfume OilSnake Oil-soaked carnation petals, spiked with a dash of clove and allspice.
I have a bottle and don't need more, even if it's different this year (not sure if it is).
The Serpent in the Lilacs Perfume OilSpring’s first lilac branches dunked in 3-year aged Snake Oil.
I really just feel like I have enough SO variants.
The Serpent in the Opium Poppies Perfume OilSnake Oil, opium tar, indigo poppy petals, plum cognac, and a dribble of laudanum.
Pass but the hype is testing me.
The Serpent in the Roses Perfume OilSnake Oil dribbling across a cluster of amber-flecked, blackened rose petals.
Already have it and don't need more.
White Flowers, Red Ink, Black Paper Perfume OilIf this year’s Lupercalia fragrance collection was a book, it would be printed in blood-red ink rolled across the soft, stubborn bodies of dream-pale flowers, and stamped onto heavy black paper. We’d pass it around before the letters had a chance to dry, staining fingers with the turn of every page, marking the curious as aspiring erotes, as fellow Lupercalians. The sanguine contents of this text were made to be devoured by the eyes, the skin, the heart, and then the story continued by its readers, passed along to others.
Pass on this one, not really calling to me. I'm not big on ink and paper scents, from my experience.
Womb Furie Perfume OilAn itch that needs to be scratched: Snake Oil and three types of honey.
No thank you!
On Lovers' Lips
Coquette Red Perfume Oil
A flirty strawberry-tinged rose lipstick.
Dominatrix Red Perfume OilLatex, leather, and blood-red lipstick.
Egyptian Red Perfume OilCleopatra’s vibrant carmine suffused with myrrh, blue lotus absolute, cinnamon bark, elemi resin, and cassia.
Elizabethan Red Perfume OilOrange blossom water, fig milk, clove bud, madder root, and gum arabic smeared on an ambergris-dabbed white leather glove.
Jiroft Red Perfume OilGround hematite and manganite pounded into vegetable waxes and scented with dates, narcissus, rosewater, and oud.
Vixen Red Perfume OilConfidence, sensuality, glamour. Ripe black cherries, velvety red rose, and a flirtatious sparkle of pink pepper glide seamlessly through iris-touched vanilla bean wax.
Don't need any of these - they just don't sound that appealing to me but I would sniff if any of them came my way (I guess that's true for just about any scent).
Raunchy Hearts 2025
Aces Wild Perfume Oil
A big, wet blue raspberry blown to the idea that asexual people never get off, don’t enjoy relationships, or are generally anti-sex.
Cuck Me Perfume OilA sticky-sweet love letter to the stranger (coworker? lifelong friend?) who’s been sleeping in your bed: candy cigarettes and root beer barrels.
Don’t Peek Perfume OilLychee tears soaking through a blindfold of opium tar.
Findom Perfume OilAn arrangement in which eros is expressed via liquid assets and cold, hard cash: shiny butterscotch and pale green vanilla mint.
U Tried Wild Perfume OilYou sure did! Here’s your participation award: a bright, sweet lemon candy lightly dusted with sugar to soothe the sting of rejection.
UNF Perfume OilHot, heavy slaps of dragon fruit punctuated with pink pepper whimpers and a grunt of patchouli.
Yelp Perfume OilMake some noise if it feels good! Make some noise if it feels bad! A paper pouch of popping peach and sour cherry candy
Don't need any of these. I can't afford to try a whole lot so I'm kind of glad when I can pass on a whole section. Happy for those who are getting them, though.
Edit: Ok I might want to try the lemon candy one.
The Seven Veils
The Fifth Veil Perfume Oil
Putrefaction, the veil of decay. A yellowing shroud of raw-edged Muga silk, banana-spotted with chunks of fermented fig and exuding rich, earthy puffs of mushroom dust.
Pass for sure
The First Veil Perfume OilCalcination, the black veil. A densely-ruffled carapace of peppered ambergris, sandalwood smoke, and charred silk
Doesn't sound like something I would like.
The Fourth Veil Perfume OilConjunction, the veil of reunion. Ripples of sage-green silk covered in a mossy velvet-burnout pattern of wildflowers and slithering ivy.
Probably pass, but there is some potential here. On the fence about this one.
The Second Veil Perfume OilDissolution, the flowing veil. A crystal-sequined torrent of lilac-wine organza soiled with trampled grapeskins, cinnabar smudges, and smears of liquid myrrh.
Undecided - probably pass but I weirdly want to try it.
The Seventh Veil Perfume OilCoagulation, the veil that lays bare. Bare skin visible through a glittering web of blood-red garnet beads strung on threads spun from filaments of pure gold.
I'd like to smell this just out of curiosity but overall I think I can skip it for now.
The Sixth Veil Perfume OilDistillation, the veil of steam. Condensation gathering in clouds of tulle, white tea, aqua vitae, rosemary liqueur, and bourbon vanilla.
Same as above except I might actually look for a decant of this one.
The Third Veil Perfume OilSeparation, the veil of distinction. A tumble of pearly pale-blue chiffon shot through with slashes of white ginger and lined with ivory satin rosettes.
Not sure, this is another wild card, maybe a decant?
Shungas 2025
A Cluster of Red Chrysanthemums Perfume Oil
Red chrysanthemum petals, guava pulp, crimson-tipped peonies, and sandalwood incense.
Ok now we're talking. I can't help but think of Chrysanthemum Moon but "sandalwood incense" could turn on me. Probably a decant.
A Pause in One’s Studies Perfume OilLuminous amber, white tea, sweet heliotrope, golden lotus petals, toasted almond blossom cream, and a smear of ink.
Sounds nice but I have to be selective and this doesn't stand out a lot. I will watch reviews though. Maybe decant down the road.
A Record Book of Ships Entering the Harbor Perfume OilVanilla sandalwood and vanilla cream with a hint of tobacco absolute and blackcurrant bud.
Sounds nice but again, does this stand out? I feel like I've smelled lots of things with these notes already. Possible decant.
Affair Between an Amorous Doctor and a Wanton Married Woman Perfume OilGurjum balsam, lemon peel, ginger root, and clove.
Sounds a little too zingy for what I've been in the mood for lately. But I do love a good lemony scent.... have to think some more on this one
An Intriguing Observation Perfume OilPomegranate milk, scarlet musk, red sandalwood, frankincense, and white almond.
Passing for now, I feel like I have plenty of red musk scents and it can sometimes take over.
Aroused Demon Perfume OilRed and black vegetal musks, pink peppercorn, lychee, wild plum, green tea, oakmoss, and matcha
Not a combo I'm really interested in right now.
Battledore and Shuttlecock Perfume Oil
Calla lilies, green tea, peony milk, and blue lilac.
Now this is something I want to try and actually have a bottle in my cart at the moment! (Edit: I got a decant to try first)
Cascade of Tissues Perfume OilMarshmallow cream, red silk musk, pomegranate juice, and red currant.
Interested in the marshmallow cream but not the red musk. Possible decant.
Celestial Beings Making Love Above the Sea Perfume OilEucalyptus blossom, salty foam, ambergris accord, blue spruce, white mint, lotus root, and blue musk.
Sounds nice but I'm passing for now. I like aquatics but there are a couple iffy notes here.
Contest of Flowers: Iris Perfume OilIris, peony, and carnation petals soaked in strawberry cream and lotus milk.
Has potential but I need to be strict and this doesn't quite make the cut.
Convivial Vulva Perfume OilCherry blossom cream, blush marshmallow, white amber, and wild pink strawberries.
This has potential but I'm skipping it for now.
Couple Engaged in Intimate Acts as the Man Pours Tea Perfume OilJasmine tea, yuzu rice, and smoked vanilla.
Decant - potential, but I also feel I have some other scents like this.
Discarded Weapons Perfume OilToasted rice, almond cream, champaca resin, fig, and roasted coconut meat.
Again this has potential but I'm skipping for now. It sounds similar to some other things I have. I am interested in the rice note though. Possible decant at some point.
Enthusiastic Recreation Perfume OilVanilla-soaked sugared pear, frankincense, osmanthus blossoms, and hazelnut.
This is a wild card and I can't decide.
Festival Acrobatics Perfume OilAkebia, guava pulp, pink sandalwood, melon, green bergamot, Florentine iris, and sandalwood.
Undecided, potential decant?
Gongsun Sheng Uses Magic to Cause Heavy Rain and Strong Winds Perfume OilEbony musk shot through with scarlet, tobacco absolute, a crack of ozone, and sandalwood-dusted rosy skin musk.
Not quite what I'm looking for at the moment.
Great Pleasures for Women and Their Treasure Boxes Perfume OilAmber incense, guava cream, almond milk, and sandalwood.
Pass for now, not calling out to me.
Hazy Moon Cats Perfume OilSandalwood incense, dusky violet petals, mauve orris root, sweet labdanum, jasmine sambac, frankincense, and ti leaf.
Not totally sure but probably pass for now. Orris can sometimes come across like baby oil on me, and it's not a deal breaker but sometimes it stomps on the other notes.
In the Hallway of a Brothel Perfume Oil
Lemon cream, incense smoke, and candle wax.
I usually pass on waxy scents. I love the sound of lemon cream, though.
Intimate Experiments During Household Activities Perfume Oil
Mango cream, black cherry cordial, blackcurrant, and neroli.
I'm wary of mango cream because I think it went wrong on me in the past. And cherry notes can be very sweet and strong.
Jealousy, Fingering, Masturbation Perfume OilGreen tea with mint cream, jasmine petals, lotus root, and sugared violets.
This is very much the kind of thing I'm interested in right now - except the jasmine, it could take over. Maybe just a decant for now?
Lesbian Maidservants Cavorting with a Tortoiseshell Dildo Perfume OilPolished amber and honeyed teak draped in red silk brocade and soft mosses.
Not calling to me at the moment
Lingering Plum Scent in the Sleeping Chamber Perfume OilUme blossom and ripe black plums, clove incense, mogra, and a gentle mist of lavender and white honey.
I was somewhat interested until we got to white honey, not for me.
Lu Zhishen Pulls the Weeping Willow Upside Down Perfume OilWillow boughs tangled with strawflower, patchouli root, cypress, clary sage, vetiver, ho wood, and golden musk.
Undecided, pass for now.
Michiyuki Koi No Futozao Perfume OilBrandy-soaked pears, plum incense, and honeyed amber.
Pass, not my thing. But I wish for a plum incense single note!
Onnagata Making Love at a Tea House as Mane’emon Watches While Holding a Kite Perfume OilOrange blossom caramel, yellow tobacco flower, and sugared patchouli.
Hmmm....I'm wary of the caramel, but otherwise really interested I think. Decant probably.
Playful Abalone Divers Perfume OilLotus petals, jasmine sambac, orris root, coconut, clove, and honey.
Probably pass, mostly because of honey.
Plume of Incense Perfume OilTendrils of sandalwood, agarwood, and cypress incense, moss silk, calla lilies, and yellow amber.
There was a time I would have jumped on this but now I feel like I have lots of incense scents already. Might possibly want a decant but maybe pass?
Radiant Entanglement Perfume OilDragonfruit, honeyed hibiscus, fuchsia orchid, and white tea.
I'm just not sure, but it has potential. Possible decant. It sure sounds pretty and joyful..something I need right now!
Rapturous Spouses and Curious Cat Perfume OilLemon blossom, neroli, white honey, Himalayan cedar, ylang ylang, white frankincense, and a fuzzy purr of musky amber.
Probably pass because of white honey.
Scarlet Blossoms Perfume OilBeeswax, white tea, amber-warmed skin musk, cherry juice, wild plum, and a cascade of cherry and plum blossoms dipped in silky red musk.
Several notes here can go wrong. Safe pass for me.
The First Tea Ceremony of the Year Perfume OilMatcha tea and nerikiri.
I think I just am not crazy about matcha in my perfume. I already have the matcha cheesecake Beaver Moon and that is enough for me.
The Fox Spirit’s Jest Perfume OilRusset musk, red silk, rose chypre, wildflower honey, and patchouli root.
Definitely a safe pass for me, too much red and I don't like honey notes for the most part.
Shunga HG 2025
Annual Events of the Vagina Hair GlossPine needle, crushed grass, jasmine absolute, and juniper.
Chart of the Muscles of the Hand Hair GlossToasted almond cream, white musk, and hazelnut sandalwood.
Diver Combing her Hair Hair GlossSalt-dusted lilac and lavender petals splashed by sea water.
Glowing Vulva at Ryogoku Bridge Hair GlossCream accord, amber, teak, and lotus blossom.
The Harbor of Love on the Island of Women Hair GlossWhite tea, cherry rose petals, marshmallow, frothed cream, and amber.
Diver Combing is the only one I'm mildly interested in but I don't need any more Hair gloss.

Krampusnacht ?Answers
Would you like something embroidered my elf? If so, what type of design or theme? Also a standard hoop frame, on a tea towel or napkins (if so what color) or something else? That would be amazing, preferably a tea towel. I love the idea of a raven holding mistletoe in its beak but I also love Victorian Yule vibes.
Would you, dearest elf, be interested in some handmade hair falls? The kind I make are 1. extremely lightweight 2. made from up cycled and ethically sourced natural materials like silk and antique lace 3. completely customized just for you- so give me around three colors, preferred length and whether you'd like one big one (ponytail style) or two (space buns / pigtails style) These sound so fun, I would prefer one big one in blood red, grey/black, creme/white. Victorian vampy vibes would be the dream.
Would you be interested in homemade cocktail bitters? They do have alcohol, but can be used in seltzer or club soda in addition to adding that little somethin' somethin' to your favorite cocktail. I have already made rose, cinnamon bourbon, orange saffron, and ginger vanilla which I am happy to share or could also make something more bespoke in the next few weeks. Note- these are made with vodka, unless otherwise specified. I don't really drink so no bitters for me but I would use alcohol extracts for baking, something that would pair well with sugar cookies.
Would you be interested in infusing kits for your alcohol of choice? Could be for different liquors or wine, depending on your preferences. No thank you.
Is there anything that you would like to stock your liquor cabinet? No thank you.
Soooo I love the tea towels from Spoonflower AND they have a ton of Krampus type graphics. Would you be interested in a tea towel from there? (Bonus if you go look and give some links to your fav Krampus fabric.) Nothing is jazzing my jollies, sorry.
Or I can order a fat quarter and make a bowl holder for you (works for hot OR cold, on the table, in your hands, microwavable) if you're interested. I use them a lot for hot bowls.
I already have one from you!
Would you be interested in an Advent Calendar? I'm not the biggest fan of them personally, too much extra packaging for me.
Anything from Haus of Gloi's site that you want? https://www.hausofgloi.com/blogs/haus-herald/yule-2024-info (yule collection part 1 should be up on Sunday.) Yes!
Spruce Tip Shortbread Handmade Soap, Fancy Bread Handmade Soap, Yule Body Powder In Long Winter's Nap (especially since I lost my other HOG body powder and I get really sweaty at my job), and Yule Bubbling Scrubs In Snow Wolf peak my interest.
Anything from Paintbox Soapworks? Yes again, I love bodycare and I burn through scrubs. BLACK TWIG HOT PROCESS SOAP, COMFORT & JOY SORBETTO EMULSIFYING SUGAR SCRUB, FIGLET SORBETTO EMULSIFYING SUGAR SCRUB, IN DULCI JUBILO HOT PROCESS SOAP (ugh this one has my favorite note, beeswax), IN DULCI JUBILO SORBETTO EMULSIFYING SUGAR SCRUB, RENSDYR SORBETTO EMULSIFYING and SUGAR SCRUB call my name.
How about Moonalisa? I would! I've never tried this brand before so whatever you like I would be happy to try.
Do you want any goodies for your pets? (catnip, dog cookies, etc) I do have a kitty at my house named Gretchen, she's a little over a year and very mischievous. She loves to play and sometimes cuddle if she's feeling gracious.
For NAUGHTY things, what do you think about ... ummm... kinky toys or adult toys? No toys for me please! However, in the same vein I would appreciate a sexy bra, garter, or stockings. Just no undies as I'm super picky with them. I wear a 36b for bras in a balconette style and a medium/large in garters. My favorite colors for those are you guessed it, dark red! I also love lavender, grey, black and creme. Also velvet, I love anything velvet. Here is some inspo ideas. https://www.victoriassecret.com/us/vs/bras-catalog/5000005210?brand=vs&collectionId=08b8367b-635e-4667-ad96-87aea7294c7c&filter=size%3A36B&limit=180&orderBy=REC&priceType=clearance&productId=&size1=36&size2=B&stackId=dd2fb373-e79d-4ed3-9cf9-d999efe3388a&genericId=11245348&choice=01P2&product_position=1&stack_position=1&stack_count=2&dataSource=personalized-collection&categoryTwo=New Markdown&categoryOne=Top Rated https://www.victoriassecret.com/us/vs/panties-catalog/1120715700?choice=13P0&filter=sizes%3AM%2FL&genericId=11207157&limit=100&orderBy=salepriceus&productId=6919d0a4-243c-4719-80dd-520d6ee5c7e8&resultPosition=5&searchBrand=vs&searchedFor=garter&categoryTwo=New Markdown
These are my questions but I'll answer them just for fun!
Would you be interested in a small yule wreath if so what colors and theme would you fancy? No thank you, I will make one for myself!
Anything from sock dreams peak your interest? A gift card would be wonderful as we are likely out of the shipping window.
Anything you might like from my favorite little tea shop? https://www.fridaytea.com/ I am pretty stocked up on tea right now so no thank you.
Would you like shower steamers? If so any particular EOs you might like? Yes! Lavender and or peppermint.
Would you like a simmer pot mix and if so would you like it for any intent? No thank you.
Jam! I made strawberry cranberry jam with coconut sugar. Would you like some? Absolutely!

Rather than doing separate posts this year, I've decided to combine all of the Yule/Christmas/DecemberHolidayMadness swaps into a single post.
Updated 11/12/24)
Would you like something embroidered my elf? Absolutely! I would definitely be interested in embroidered ornaments or wearables. I don't have a whole lot of wall/shelf space for display, though.
Would you, dearest elf, be interested in some handmade hair falls? I am not not interested, if that makes sense. My hair is dyed dark red and super short and I don't necessarily have a lot of places I would wear them. I do, however, have a teen who is into anime, manga, Hatsune Miku, and Genshin Impact, with related cosplay, who would inevitably appropriate anything of the kind that entered the house, especially if it were Miku aqua and more light weight than the long-ass wig we bought for Awesome Con last spring or rainbow or non-binary or aero/ace themed. They would probably prefer two, but one can't be picky when "borrowing" from other people.
Would you be interested in homemade cocktail bitters? Absolutely - I want to try all of your infusions and syrups and bitters, etc.
Would you be interested in infusing kits for your alcohol of choice? Could be for different liquors or wine, depending on your preferences. Sure! I love the ones from InBooze on etsy, which inspired this question and I would love to try others as well. I tend to grab gin and bourbon the most these days, but I have a well stocked liquor cabinet and any could work. I also tend to like mulled wine this time of year, so that's also an option.
Is there anything that you would like to stock your liquor cabinet? I could use Compari and other things for interesting negronis. I have the gin and sweet vermouth...although I should check the latter as it's been around for a while. I am always happy to get candied citrus peel, fancy cherries, and other cocktail garnishes as well.
Soooo I love the tea towels from Spoonflower AND they have a ton of Krampus type graphics. Would you be interested in a tea towel from there? (Bonus if you go look and give some links to your fav Krampus fabric.)
I am always up for tea towels! I like a lot of the fabric, but the following especially jump out at me:
https://www.spoonflower.com/en/fabric/13853869-krampus-creep-night-by-brittany_sherman
https://www.spoonflower.com/en/fabric/14684702-krampus-jolly-devil-by-brittany_sherman
https://www.spoonflower.com/en/fabric/12420276-gingerdead-men-mini-scale-by-flowers_n_fiends
https://www.spoonflower.com/en/fabric/13853866-krampus-merry-fright-on-green-by-brittany_sherman
https://www.spoonflower.com/en/fabric/11084052-krampus-damask-gray-by-xoxotique
Or I can order a fat quarter and make a bowl holder for you (works for hot OR cold, on the table, in your hands, microwavable) if you're interested. I use them a lot for hot bowls. That would also be very cool.
Would you be interested in an Advent Calendar? Always.
Anything from Haus of Gloi's site that you want? https://www.hausofgloi.com/blogs/haus-herald/yule-2024-info (yule collection part 1 should be up on Sunday.) Love love love their pumpkin butter and bubbling scrub - Mama's Porridge, Spruce Tip Shortbread, Winter Divinity. Ye Olde Cake of Fruit also sounds right up my alley, should it become available in the aforementioned products. I don't need any of the oils, though.
Anything from Paintbox Soapworks? I love their hot process soap and scrubs - Black Twig, Comfort & Joy, Figlet, Winter Stories (in that order of preference)
Do you want any goodies for your pets? (catnip, dog cookies, etc) The kittens, especially, love toys. If you grow your own catnip, that would be cool, but don't go buying them.
For NAUGHTY things, what do you think about ... ummm... kinky toys or adult toys? No thank you.
If you like coffee, do you prefer whole bean or ground? If ground, what fineness? For unflavored, whole bean. For flavors, ground please. I don't have any grind preference.
If we’re discussing tea, how much of a purist are you? Not at all. I am set up for either loose leaf or bags and both are totally fine.
Would you be interested in a small yule wreath if so what colors and theme would you fancy?
Sure! Happy for a Krampusy theme or a more general Yule theme.
Anything from Sock Dreams?
I love seasonal socks. I may have a wishlist going there already.
Anything from Moonalisa
I'd happily try the shower gel or avocado butter. Lots of the wintery scents fit my gourmand desires.
Anything you might like from my favorite little tea shop? https://www.fridaytea.com/
I see a lot that appeals to my fruity/spicy/chocolately side.
It would be great to know what sizes my hibernator wears for socks, clothes, and jewelry.
I am kind of between sizes now, but can do XL in fitted tees, probably an L or XL in more generous cuts. Socks are standard US adult (shoe size is 8 in womens/6 in mens). I'm currently a size 14 in pants. Jewelry, I like most lengths of necklaces, other than chokers. Message me if you need specific measurements for necklaces or bracelets.
And do you have favorite types of jewelry/stones?
I wear earrings - everything from fun studs to very dangly these days. Anything that is intended to be more professional, I prefer hooks or hoops in case I get dragged onto calls without earbuds, but realistically, unless something changes dramatically, I'm self employed these days, so professionalism is relative. Otherwise, I like bracelets - I prefer flexible chain/bead sort of bands to solid bangles and necklaces of various lengths. I have a small collection of fun pins and buttons, but they hang in my room, I don't really wear them.
In terms of stones, I love anything sparkly, especially darker jewel tones - blues, reds, greens, and dark shimmery stones like marcacite or dark opals.
Wishlists you want to share?
My wishlists are in my meta swap post (also linked in my sig):
How do you feel about boozy fruitcake?
I love it and am happy to try any and all individual varieties. That said, don't go buy me a Collins Street one or anything.
Shower steamers?
Sure! I would mist like something citrusy and refreshing, eucalyptus, or alternatively, sweet vanilla lavender, as I have started showering more at night lately.
Simmer pots?
Definitely not opposed. In terms of intent, general wellness would be cool.
Homemade jam?
Yes, please! As long as it's not made with low calorie sweetener. I'm not familiar with coconut sugar, but some googling suggests it should be fine. Just no stevia or monk fruit, as both of those aggravate my migraines.
I have a set of runes, never used, made from hand-carved (shed) antler. Would you like such an item?
No thank you.
If I were to knit for you, what colors would you like? Washcloths, scarves, hat, shawl……no promises but I have some knitting time!!
Washcloths, mits, shawl, arm warmers would all be wonderful.
talk to me about your drinkware preference; mugs, glasses, etc.
colors, shapes, sizes…….seasonal? Fall or winter??
I like big ole bowl size mugs with large handles, the cuter, more seasonal the better. I also love vintage/vintage-style cocktail glasses.

Anything in Paintbox Soap Works Halloween release that you'd like? no. I haven't used the last things that someone gifted me from PBSW. Love the smells but the stuff just never seems to get used
Anything hand knit or embroidered you might like? I would LOVE a hat or fingerless gloves or basically anything embroidered (tiny wall art!!!)
I make shower steamers, salves, candles, soaps and other such. Are you interested in any such homemade goodies? sure! Any of those would be welcome except I don't really do bar soap but if it's "pretty" I can put it in a guest bathroom
9/7/2024
Would you like a small watercolor painting? I'm talking 3×5". If so, would you like it based on your preferred Halloween motifs or something else? absolutely would love small wall art!!! Halloween-esque would be fine but also, we have a collection of Biscuits and Gravy art...
I make light-weight hair falls ( I can do single or double, if you have a preference for pony tail or pig tails)- I make them out of things like soft yarns, up-cycled silk and bits of lace. Is this something you'd like? If so, tell me up to three colors and a length in inches you'd like. I am afraid Arrdyth (my hair) woud eat them. She is a mighty bitch all on her own.
Anything from the Haus of Gloi Fall update? IDK Haus of Gloi
How about the Nocturne Alchemy Halloween update? I also DK Nocturne Alchemy
9/8/2024
Milk, Dark, and or white Chocolate? DARK!
Would you like a gently-used tarot or Lenormand deck? sure
I'm going to Disney World all next week!!! Can I get you something? (Maybe you have a favorite Disney / Star Wars / etc character or fandom? Maybe you're a Pin Trader? Maybe you like cute kitchen-wares / tea pots / nice English tea / pot holders tea towels?) I am NOT a Disney person...
This is has been alluded to in other questions, but feelings about candles/wax tarts/incense and scent profiles? we mostly burn incense in the house but have the ability to use wax tarts and candles are fine too...
I can handle super foody scents in the house (which I don't wear) and also any of the headshop/whorehouse scents I like to wear...
I am MUCH less picky about room scents than I am about body scents.
are you interested in skincare, such as trying travel sizes of various types? (would be cruelty-free, cleaner options coming from over here, if that matters to you!) If you send it I will try to use it... but I am quite happy with my super simple Brujita Skincare routine
9/9/2024
Let's talk earrings. Pierced? Stud, dangly, hoop? Any ear wire preferences? Large or small? Other preferences? pierced but I mostly wear the same silver hoops all the time
Will occasionally wear other things though so feel free to try me.
If there is something extravagant on your wish list, would you like one large gift and the rest of your gifts quite modest, or would you rather forego the lavish item in favor of more of a mix among your other gifts? I don't really care. Honestly, I'm into underconsumption these days so all the gifts could be modest and its fine.
The Trader Joe's Fearless Flyer is out with all of their autumn offerings. Is there anything you would like?
9/11/2024
I have in my possession a selection of real Bakelite bangle bracelets! Definitely from the 1940s-1960s era. Would this be an exciting gist for you to receive? I probably couldn't get them over my giant hands/wrists LOL
Would you like anything from sock dreams? not much of a socks wearer
9/13/2024
Would you be interested in a spooky mini waffle maker or spooky playing cards? sure
Does anything from SnagTights strike your fancy? not much of a tights wearer
What about from Michaels or JoAnnes?
do you like Ren fairest? Might there be a fun little thing I should find for you there? I haven't been to a ren fest in years but I'm sure there are things that I would like there... I just cannot think of what off the top of my head
9/14/2024
Weather permitting I'll be going to a witchy Florida themed night market next week! Is there anything you may want from it?
9/17/2024
Do you desire any Samhain ritual-type items, if so, what?
Tell me, my ghoul-friend, would you love to see things from these places (and what?) as you unwrap your gifts? I will be going to the Pacific coast soon, and there are witchy stores (one with serious occult supplies, many handmade including inks, quills, books, etc), a HUGE gem & mineral store, a huge yarn shop, shells and way too much sasquatch stuff, also an amazingly diverse mercantile in Yachats, OR, and the Green Salmon, where unique PNW teas, coffees are sold
So... always down for yummy coffees and teas.... sparkly rocks are always amazing... occult supplies are fun to receive... I'm so easy... seriously... if it speaks to you and says its for me.. I'm sure I'll love it

Anything in Paintbox Soap Works Halloween release that you'd like? I'm liking the Let Me In perfume/hot press soap, Nightwalker perfume/hot press soap, The Grey Hound perfume/hot press soap, Demeter hot press soap/perfume, Jack-of-the-Woods hot press soap/perfume.
Anything hand knit or embroidered you might like? I would love anything embroidered.
I make shower steamers, salves, candles, soaps and other such. Are you interested in any such homemade goodies? I would love salves and soaps, just nothing foody smelling.
I make light-weight hair falls ( I can do single or double, if you have a preference for pony tail or pig tails)- I make them out of things like soft yarns, up-cycled silk and bits of lace. Is this something you'd like? If so, tell me up to three colors and a length in inches you'd like. Not at the moment. My hair is falling out due to a thyroid condition.
Anything from the Haus of Gloi Fall update? Kitchen Witch sounds interesting, as does Violet Moon and and Scarecrow. I'm down with perfumes or their bubbling scrubs, which I do love.
How about the Nocturne Alchemy Halloween update? Anything. I couldn't really afford anything this round.
Milk, Dark, and or white Chocolate? Dark!!!
Would you like a gently-used tarot or Lenormand deck? No thank you.
I'm going to Disney World all next week!!! Can I get you something? (Maybe you have a favorite Disney / Star Wars / etc character or fandom? Maybe you're a Pin Trader? Maybe you like cute kitchen-wares / tea pots / nice English tea / pot holders tea towels?) Anything villain or Haunted Mansion. I adore pins, tea, and tea cups. This is has been alluded to in other questions, but feelings about candles/wax tarts/incense and scent profiles? Maybe some scented half votives, but I do have a strong affinity toward Voluspa candles. I adore their Goji Tobacco, Blond Tabac, Silver Birch, Panjore Lychee, and Eucalyptus/Sage. No incense for me because our youngest cat has asthma.
Are you interested in skincare, such as trying travel sizes of various types? (would be cruelty-free, cleaner options coming from over here, if that matters to you!). Absolutely! Anything eye/serum related. I also need an exfoliant. Also, I adore those cute Korean-type face masks.
Let's talk earrings. Pierced? Stud, dangly, hoop? Any ear wire preferences? Large or small? Other preferences? Pierced, but it can't have any nickel since I have a skin allergy. I like anything light and dark, but not heavy. I'm down for sterling silver studs (little bats, skulls, cats, coffins - all would be loved). I also love high gothic earrings, but I have tender ears so the earrings can't be too heavy. I also like UV reactive earrings for clubbing nights.
If there is something extravagant on your wish list, would you like one large gift and the rest of your gifts quite modest, or would you rather forego the lavish item in favor of more of a mix among your other gifts? I have lots of extravagant good on my Etsy WL. I'd be happy with one big one or a mix of modest ones.
The Trader Joe's Fearless Flyer is out with all of their autumn offerings. Is there anything you would like? The blond pumpkin brownies sound interesting.
I have in my possession a selection of real Bakelite bangle bracelets! Definitely from the 1940s-1960s era. Would this be an exciting gist for you to receive? No thanks.Would you like anything from sock dreams? I like the bat net tights, Fiddlewood Crew, Cherry Blossom Crew, Thistle Crew, Bioluminescent Crew <3), and The Gashlycrumb Tinies Crew.
Mini waffle maker - no
Spooky playing cards - no
Does anything from SnagTights strike your fancy? The ACOTAR mountain tights in E are calling my name! I also like the purple Hallo-Queen in E and the Arachne fishnets in E.
What about from Michaels or JoAnnes? From Michaels, any of the candelabra (white or black), the star and black white cat shelf, or the 9" white crow mirror. From JoAnns, any of the Halloween Disco storage books, the purple glass taper, the Black Ornate Clock by Time and Place.
Do you like Ren fairest? Might there be a fun little thing I should find for you there? I've gone to a couple and really enjoyed my experiences, but other than ridiculously expensive coresets, I don't remember what they have to offer. I'm certainly open, though.
Weather permitting I'll be going to a witchy Florida themed night market next week! Is there anything you may want from it? Absolutely! I could use herbs, oils, or really anything witchy. I walk more of the nature/herbal/energy practitioner path.
Do you desire any Samhain ritual-type items, if so, what? Maybe something for ancestor work.
Tell me, my ghoul-friend, would you love to see things from these places (and what?) as you unwrap your gifts? I will be going to the Pacific coast soon, and there are witchy stores (one with serious occult supplies, many handmade including inks, quills, books, etc), a HUGE gem & mineral store, a huge yarn shop, shells and way too much sasquatch stuff, also an amazingly diverse mercantile in Yachats, OR, and the Green Salmon, where unique PNW teas, coffees are sold. I would love that! Shells, gems, and occult goodies will be salmon. I'm also here in the PNW, but I don't get out beyond Bellevue, Seattle, Renton, and Belfair.
9/18/2024
Would you like spooky-themed stationary supplies? What kinds if so? I could always use those tab flag things for annotations. That and spooky legal pads.
What about unanointed spell candles? I have lots.Could you use any clever storage boxes like these? Nope.
9/22/2024
If I were to place an order from Cellar Door, what strikes your fancy - they're having a fast 20% off sale through Monday so I'd need an answer fast. No thank you.

Paintbox Soap Works Halloween
Ooo the Fairytale soap bar or scrub
Anything hand knit or embroidered you might like?
Yes! I just started knitting myself. No socks though. Something embroidered would be wonderful! I love those little red hatted gnomes if that helps you, lol.
UPDATE TO ANSWER: someone mentioned knit hats and YES. I would loooove a slouchy knit hat.
I make shower steamers, salves, candles, soaps and other such. Are you interested in any such homemade goodies?
Those all sound awesome! I would love a shower steamer or a salve.
Would you like a small watercolor painting? I'm taking 3×5". If so, would you like it based on your preferred Halloween motifs or something else? Yes! I love handmade art! Hmmm.... Small insects, like a snail or a moth
I make light-weight hair falls ( I can do single or double, if you have a preference for pony tail or pig tails)- I make them out of things like soft yarns, up-cycled silk and bits of lace. Is this something you'd like? If so, tell me up to three colors and a length in inches you'd like. heck yes! I want to eventually to go to neotopolis (cyberpunk roleplay weekend), wasteland weekend or even something for Labyrinth! My hair is currently green, and I would like something bright green with black or hot pink. I prefer pig tails, and my hair is currently pretty long (mid-back).
UPDATE: something more specific color wise! neon green and dark purple, or hot pink and black
Anything from the Haus of Gloi Fall update? Ooo I love their body butters!UPDATE: Kitchen Witch sounds yummy!
How about the Nocturne Alchemy Halloween update?UPDATE: Finally getting to this question! Mango Custard Kulfi or Vampire Wine Heart Chianti
Milk, Dark, and or white Chocolate? Milk or white! I have a tremendous sweet tooth, and I am sensitive to bitter.
Would you like a gently-used tarot or Lenormand deck?: 100%!
UPDATE: I have a LOT of tarot decks (i really should make a list sometime), so a Lenormand deck would be a safer gift
I'm going to Disney World all next week!!! Can I get you something? Oooo I'm jelly! I've never been, but if you see anything with the porgs from Star Wars my husband would LOVE IT
This is has been alluded to in other questions, but feelings about candles/wax tarts/incense and scent profiles? No incense, please! I also don't have a wax tart warmer, and I have sooo many candles. best to skip this one! Here's another one: are you interested in skincare, such as trying travel sizes of various types? Yes yes yes! I love trying out new skin, hair (!!!) and makeup things, and I have a bunch of people I can rehome these to if it's not for me
Let's talk earrings. Pierced? Stud, dangly, hoop? Any ear wire preferences? Large or small? Other preferences? I do have pierced ears, but my hair obscures them completely. my ears are also quite sensitive to metal and i find I can't wear most earrings for longer than a few hours. Another thing to skip, sorry!
If there is something extravagant on your wish list, would you like one large gift and the rest of your gifts quite modest, or would you rather forego the lavish item in favor of more of a mix among your other gifts? hmmm usually I would go with more of a mix, but if you are feeling like giving one large gift and the rest modest, let's go for it!
The Trader Joe's Fearless Flyer is out with all of their autumn offerings. Is there anything you would like? ooooh the honeycomb candy. I'm also OBSESSED with the pumpkin samosas they had last year but that won't mail well, lol
I have in my possession a selection of real Bakelite bangle bracelets! Definitely from the 1940s-1960s era. Would this be an exciting gift for you to receive? OOOMMMMGGGG yes! I like greens (chartreuse, avocado). Mustard yellow.
Would you like anything from sock dreams?
Oo maybe! I don't usually wear socks, it's soooo hot (and I'm a a millennial lol), but I would love some opaque tights! Any color as long as they aren't see through, orrrr the Brigitte printed tights with the eyes!
Would you be interested in a spooky mini waffle maker or spooky playing cards?
Ooo a mini waffle maker would be neat! I don't have anything like that. I have so many playing cards already, so I'll pass on that, thanks~
Does anything from SnagTights strike your fancy?
Ooo those chub rubs with the bats! Or any color but blue. I'd be a size c I think.
What about from Michaels or JoAnnes?
I could use some good and/or cool yarn! Just started knitting and crocheting. Any knitting and crochet supplies I could probably use since I'm an absolute beginner. I've got some yarn and needles/hooks and that's it. If there is something you know a knitter/crocheter can use, I'd like that!
do you like Ren fairest? Might there be a fun little thing I should find for you there?
Fuck yes! I try to go every year to a couple that are around me. Something viking or mermaid. I could use a mask to wear to labyrinth the masquerade as well!
Weather permitting I'll be going to a witchy Florida themed night market next week! Is there anything you may want from it?
Ah, I've missed this question! I looooove witchy statement rings. I love the look of them, and I love to fiddle with them on my hands. I'm a size 6. Favorite motifs: big natural stones, snakes, or... well anything witchy, goth or ren faire!
Would you like spooky-themed stationary supplies? What kinds if so?
I could use a new weekly planner notepad
What about unanointed spell candles? No thank you. I have plenty of candles!
Could you use any clever storage boxes like these?
No, thank you!
Do you desire any Samhain ritual-type items, if so, what?
Ah, don't really do rituals, sorry! Maybe I'll get into celebrating traditions with my baby though? is there something like that. what's a nice family Samhain ritual I can start, that'll actually be perfect
Tell me, my ghoul-friend, would you love to see things from these places (and what?) as you unwrap your gifts? I will be going to the Pacific coast soon, and there are witchy stores (one with serious occult supplies, many handmade including inks, quills, books, etc), a HUGE gem & mineral store, a huge yarn shop, shells and way too much sasquatch stuff, also an amazingly diverse mercantile in Yachats, OR, and the Green Salmon(they have a website), where unique PNW teas, cocoas, tarot decks and coffees are sold
Oo that sounds awesome! I'm most interested in some nice yarn actually! I prefer greens and do not like blue. and i can aaaaalways use some ground coffee.

EML298's 13 NIGHTS OF HALLOWEEN ANSWERS
9/5/2024
Anything in Paintbox Soap Works Halloween release that you'd like?
I need to check this out. I will come back once I have had a chance to do so and add anything specific.
Anything hand knit or embroidered you might like?
Little ghostie, please?
I make shower steamers, salves, candles, soaps and other such. Are you interested in any such homemade goodies?
Oh, yes pease! All of the above sound lovely!
9/7/2024
Would you like a small watercolor painting? I'm talking 3×5". If so, would you like it based on your preferred Halloween motifs or something else?
Abso-freakin'-lutely! Excellent question. I use some "Halloween" motifs, like skulls, year-round. and one of our fave art pieces is a graveyard. But, in this case, I would want my bat to simply have fun being creative! I am in awe of people with artistic skill! I don't have that gift. Colorwise, I'm not a big fan of bright, warm tones.
I make light-weight hair falls ( I can do single or double, if you have a preference for pony tail or pig tails)- I make them out of things like soft yarns, up-cycled silk and bits of lace. Is this something you'd like? If so, tell me up to three colors and a length in inches you'd like.
I think this sounds amazing, but I am too simple with my hair to incorporate something like this. Thanks for asking!
Anything from the Haus of Gloi Fall update?
Same answer as PBSW. I need to check and come back to this!
How about the Nocturne Alchemy Halloween update?
Third "I will need to check this out and come back" item. I have been out of the loop of etailers for quite a while. Even had a break from the Lab. Just now getting back in to some of these hobbies.
9/8/2024
Milk, Dark, and or white Chocolate?
Yes to all! So, milk if there is stuff inside it, like praline, but not so much on its own. Dark either plain or combined with other flavors, and white is probably the same, though I have rarely ever even tried a plain white chocolate anything.
Would you like a gently-used tarot or Lenormand deck?
I would love it!
I'm going to Disney World all next week!!! Can I get you something? (Maybe you have a favorite Disney / Star Wars / etc character or fandom? Maybe you're a Pin Trader? Maybe you like cute kitchen-wares / tea pots / nice English tea / pot holders tea towels?)
My favorite Disney characters are from The Nightmare Before Christmas, Alice in Wonderland. I think tiny little figurines are cute, or dish/hand towels that are absorbent (typically not the thinner tea towels). I am not very familiar with what's available at Disney, but but Jack Skellington, Zero, and the Cheshire Cat are super cute!
This is has been alluded to in other questions, but feelings about candles/wax tarts/incense and scent profiles?
Candles - I prefer soy (or other non-paraffin wax) candles. I really love citrus candles, like grapefruit or mandarin, but have also very much enjoyed other scents in the past.
Wax tarts - I used to use a lot of tarts, but I am not even sure I have a warmer at this point.
Incense - I have not used incense in years. At some point, I dabbled with Japanese incense, but it's been a long time. I think candles and diffusing essential oil are the right home-scent-making choices for me,.
Scent profile: I really love citrus, like grapefruit or mandarin, for candles, but have also very much enjoyed other scents in the past. I tend to diffuse something like lemon _ cedarwood with a hint of spearmint or eucalyptus lately. My prior go to was patchouli + lavender + grapefruit + sweet orange. Sometimes it's just patch + vanilla botanical oil. Years back it was straight mint. I tend to get on a kick and stick with it for a long time.
are you interested in skincare, such as trying travel sizes of various types? (would be cruelty-free, cleaner options coming from over here, if that matters to you!)
Sure! So long as you keep in mind that my skin is essentially the Sahara over here! I need the thickest creams and moisturizing products. And yay for cruelty-free!
9/9/2024
Let's talk earrings. Pierced? Stud, dangly, hoop? Any ear wire preferences? Large or small? Other preferences?
Pierced - one hole in each ear. I tend to wear a paid of huggie style hoops much of the time so I can fall asleep and not stab myself. However, I am certainly open to options! Ear wire seems to need to be silver or steel if possible, and the overall earring weight needs to be on the lighter side. My ears seem to be sensitive-ish.
If there is something extravagant on your wish list, would you like one large gift and the rest of your gifts quite modest, or would you rather forego the lavish item in favor of more of a mix among your other gifts?
I appreciate the choice, but I really am open to whatever my ghoul desires!
The Trader Joe's Fearless Flyer is out with all of their autumn offerings. Is there anything you would like?
Yum! Everything? The spiced nut mix sounds delish. Those petite pumpkin spiced cookies were an unexpected hit last year, and we only got to have them once. So, those! Pumpkin loaf and pumpkin blondie brownies? Yes, please (but probably not ideal to ship?)! Apple shortbread cookies sound amazing, as do pumpkin spice pretzels. I'm curious about the pumpkin hand cream - if it's not buttery, overly foody pumpkin, that sounds amazing, too!
9/11/2024
I have in my possession a selection of real Bakelite bangle bracelets! Definitely from the 1940s-1960s era. Would this be an exciting gist for you to receive?
How awesome! I don't really wear bracelets much. They get in the way of all the typing I do. BUT, I think it's really cool that you have them!
Would you like anything from sock dreams?
I have stuff from there that I really enjoy, but I think I am good on socks for now. Thanks!
9/13/2024
Would you be interested in a spooky mini waffle maker or spooky playing cards?
We have a very fancy big waffle maker, so I think we are good, though that sounds super cute! And, I think we are set on cards!
Does anything from SnagTights strike your fancy?
Wow - I had never heard of this before today! I could definitely use a pair of chub rub type shorts (the night walker style is nice!) or capri tights in black (probably size F in either).
What about from Michaels or JoAnnes?
Sure! I think if it fits some of the other answers I've given? I am not really too familiar with their offerings. I made my first purchase from Michael's in nearly a decade a couple months ago for the glass coffin shelf/box thing for my BPAL.
do you like Ren fairest? Might there be a fun little thing I should find for you there?
I haven't been in so long, but yes! Surprise me? Not sure what to suggest as I am unfamiliar, but curious.
9/14/2024
Weather permitting I'll be going to a witchy Florida themed night market next week! Is there anything you may want from it?
Sounds fun! I'm not sure what witches in FL do differently, but if you think I'd like it, yay!
9/17/2024
Do you desire any Samhain ritual-type items, if so, what?
I am 100% uninformed in this area, but I am openminded and curious.
You'll be in my somewhat general vicinity (PNW; I'm in Portland)!
You have made me curious about these stores! And, I am very drawn to gems, but not informed about them. That lead me to pick things based on colors I like. You have access to that info, but I am also open to your greater knowledge picking something with meaning/intention that is not all about my normal way of looking at things. Tea and coffee are so good, but my decaf status limits me. I do like herbal teas, especially relaxing blends like lavender mint.

? 13 Nights of Halloween Q&A ?
9/5/2024
Anything in Paintbox Soap Works Halloween release that you'd like?
I added some to my Universal Wishlist last week! Fairytale and Putney Road are my favorite fall offerings of hers, in wax melts, glycerin soap, or mini sorbetto. I also am interested in a few others as wax melts that I added to my wishlist.
Anything hand knit or embroidered you might like?
Perhaps a cute ghost or bat? ?
I make shower steamers, salves, candles, soaps and other such. Are you interested in any such homemade goodies?
I'd be happy to try any of these!
9/7/2024
Would you like a small watercolor painting? I'm talking 3×5". If so, would you like it based on your preferred Halloween motifs or something else?
I would love that! Especially if it featured a cute bat or a cute ghost. Or a black cat!
I make light-weight hair falls ( I can do single or double, if you have a preference for pony tail or pig tails)- I make them out of things like soft yarns, up-cycled silk and bits of lace. Is this something you'd like? If so, tell me up to three colors and a length in inches you'd like.
I was already fortunate enough to receive these from you in a Krampusnacht swap.
Anything from the Haus of Gloi Fall update?
My favorite Haus of Gloi item is actually their unscented pumpkin butter, but I wouldn't say no to Blood Orange Marshmallow pumpkin butter.
How about the Nocturne Alchemy Halloween update?
I ordered decants of all of the new scents I was interested in, but I'd love to try Haunted Portrait: Helena Hackley from the Resurgence.
9/8/2024
Milk, Dark, and or white Chocolate?
Milk or dark, but I generally prefer milk chocolate. No straight-up Hershey's chocolate bars, please.
Would you like a gently-used tarot or Lenormand deck?
My partner is getting into Tarot and I've been dabbling with her Rider-Waite deck. I also have a fantasy deck from a past 13 Nights swap, and I own The Nightmare Before Christmas Tarot deck. I wouldn't mind a gently used deck, or a shirt or some sort of art featuring the Queen of Wands design with the black cat for Halloween.
My favorite Disney movies are Alice in Wonderland, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, and The Sword in the Stone. And, of course, The Nightmare Before Christmas. I would love anything Archimedes the Owl, anything Alice in Wonderland, some cute fall Winnie the Pooh (I have a fall-themed Winnie the Pooh lanyard and some ankle socks), or an Everybody Wants To Be a Cat shirt from The Aristocats. I'm also always down for cute kitchenwares because I cook and bake a lot and I love getting things that are practical and can be used.
This is has been alluded to in other questions, but feelings about candles/wax tarts/incense and scent profiles?
Candles - I enjoy candles. I'm on a self-imposed candle ban, so you do not have to worry about me buying them myself. I prefer soy candles with wood or double wicks, but am down for almost any candle that is indie and isn't from Sihaya (I have too many of her candles, and they tunnel).
Wax melts - I melt wax every single day and have five warmers throughout my apartment. I'm currently on a self-imposed wax ban because I have so much of it, but I don't mind if my bat gets some for me. I'd especially love Willow Waxcraft's Harvest Hayride wax melts, or the Fairytale and Putney Road wax melts from Paintbox Soapworks.
Incense - I usually don't burn incense, but I bought this coffin-shaped incense burner from Voltaire at a show just to support him in some way (because what I had wanted to buy was already sold out). So now I wouldn't mind dabbling in Japanese incense, but I'm not interested in my abode smelling like nag champa.
Scent profile: My scent profile for home scents is pretty much the same as perfumes, but I'm more lenient about notes that wouldn't work on me, except for anise and violet, and I don't want any straight-up fruity wax (some fruit notes are okay).
are you interested in skincare, such as trying travel sizes of various types? (would be cruelty-free, cleaner options coming from over here, if that matters to you!)
I just bought a bunch of skincare for redness/very dry skin from Paula's Choice. I wouldn't mind trying travel sized skin-care that is cruelty and fragrance-free if it helps with redness or dryness.
9/9/2024
Let's talk earrings. Pierced? Stud, dangly, hoop? Any ear wire preferences? Large or small? Other preferences?
My ears are not pierced.
If there is something extravagant on your wish list, would you like one large gift and the rest of your gifts quite modest, or would you rather forego the lavish item in favor of more of a mix among your other gifts?
I'm leaning more towards a mix, but I would be happy either way!
The Trader Joe's Fearless Flyer is out with all of their autumn offerings. Is there anything you would like?
I just went there yesterday! My only regret is that I didn't smell the candles (I already have two of the honeycrisp ones from last year).
9/11/2024
I have in my possession a selection of real Bakelite bangle bracelets! Definitely from the 1940s-1960s era. Would this be an exciting gist for you to receive?
No, thank you!
Would you like anything from sock dreams?
I added the Lotions and Potions purple socks to my wishlist yesterday after looking at the website. I also like their striped armwarmers.
9/13/2024
Would you be interested in a spooky mini waffle maker or spooky playing cards?
No, thank you! I was already gifted a mini pumpkin waffle maker, and we recently got some playing cards from a tea room.
Does anything from SnagTights strike your fancy?
No, thank you... they have cute offerings, but I have noticed that I am very bad at picking the right size for tights.
What about from Michaels or JoAnnes?
From Michaels - I'm still waffling on that cat shelf.
From Joanne's - They had a lot of cute sock offerings this year, and I liked the cat on the pumpkin that lights up. This is what I did buy: bat mirror, moon mirror, ghost, pumpkin, and black cat plates, the socks specified in my questionnaire, and the moon phase tapestry. Their selection this year is pretty awesome.
Oh, if my vampire bat is crafty and would like to make me a Halloween wreath, I would love that!
do you like Ren fairest? Might there be a fun little thing I should find for you there?
If there's something small a cute!
9/14/2024
Weather permitting I'll be going to a witchy Florida themed night market next week! Is there anything you may want from it?
I'm not sure! Maybe something orange-y?
9/17/2024
Do you desire any Samhain ritual-type items, if so, what?
No, thank you!
Tea would be nice!
9/18/2024
Would you like spooky-themed stationary supplies? What kinds if so?
Yes. I like using cute notepads, washi tape, and stickers for swap packages.
What about unanointed spell candles? No, thank you!
Could you use any clever storage boxes like these?
Normally I would be down for these, but I bought a bunch at Home Goods last year when they had a ton of Halloween ones, and now I have too many that are empty and taking up space.
9/23/2024
If I were to place an order from Cellar Door, what strikes your fancy - they're having a fast 20% off sale through Monday so I'd need an answer fast.
Autumn Apple Fest, Basic Witch, and Spooky Season sound interesting, especially the latter. Soap or candle.
10/2/2024
Would you be down for baked goods as a day zero gift? If so, are there any you particularly enjoy that travel well?
I am down for baked goods and am not picky! But I think cookies probably travel the best.
Is your perfume wishlist up to date?
'Tis!
10/4/2024
Last minute question. Do you need herbs? Rosemary, thyme, winter savory, oregano, sage or such? Mugwort for tea/burning? I grow lots of herbs and I'm happy to share!
I would be happy with any of those (although I'm not sure what winter savory is!). I also enjoy mugwort for tea. I cook and bake a lot, so yes to any and all herbs that aren't licorice-adjacent!

Yule 2023 Notes
a little "how it started, how it's going" breakdown of my Yule overindulgence
SpoilerBlind Bottles: I was so sure about these! but they were a very mixed bag.
? Carved Wooden Alchemical Laboratory: too musty/dusty, can't find snakes.
Gingerbread Oud: enjoyable but an entirely different form of oud than was expected.
Gingerbread Snek: a safe snek.
? Coffee Cream Pie: I struggle with the lab's coffee note, but I thought I would be safe with the chocolate and the sugar. sadly this one was all coffee and no chocolate on my skin.
Snake Oil Hot Toddy: mostly safe but kindof strange? I don't like it and I can't quite articulate why.
The Picture of Dorian Sufganiyot: ok this one was a gamble, and it is fun, but probably not one I will wear much.
Decants: more gambling and SADS madness.
? A Doll’s Doll Perfume Oil
speculation: this is for curiosity's sake. I have to know what this smells like.
reality: HOLY WHAT this was my fave out of all the yules. easily in my faves of 2023.
Banana Gingerbread Perfume Oil
speculation: seems like this should have happened before and also seems like it will be excellent! makes me want to make banana bread with gingerbread spices.
reality: skin mostly ate it, but it did smell like a banana bread with gingerbread spices, so I can't blame it.
Blizzard Perfume Oil
speculation: I reeeeeeallly wanted to like Cat at the Table (Grey amber, roasted white tea, Indian sandalwood, and vanilla oud) but it did not quite do the thing for me. curious to see how this one compares.
reality: silly rabbit, this is not the white sandalwood blend for you.
? Carved Wooden Bakery Perfume Oil
speculation: this was almost a bottle but I thought I would attempt to be responsible instead.
reality: this went to poopoo-doodoo on my skin so I'm glad I did not get a bottle. giving it a second chance, there is a choccy croissant in there but it is clobbered by a potent walnut
Carved Wooden Barber Shop Perfume Oil
speculation: at first this was a SKIP but I kept coming back to it and I just have to know.
reality: you know what, I'm still not sure
? Carved Wooden Bawdy House Perfume Oil
speculation: curious if this is a yule-ified Random Brothel? I missed out on trying that one.
reality: yessss one ticket to sexytown pls
Carved Wooden Post Office Perfume Oil
speculation: also curious!
reality: a festive filing cabinet
Gingerbread Hot Cocoa Perfume Oil
speculation: idk if this will be too much but I'm going to find out!
reality: not much happening on my skin?
Gingerbread Milk Perfume Oil
speculation: yes please
reality: no thanks
? Lavender Earl Grey Cookies Perfume Oil
speculation: the year we got sugar cookies was heartbreaking because most of them did not work for me. gonna try again tho because lavender grey cookies sound amazing.
reality: ok it's a cookie that works! a bit faint but it's suuuper nice. kinda torn.
? Lavender Honey Cake Perfume Oil
speculation: yesss lavender honeyyy. checking in on the spices.
reality: ok I was right to care about the spices. either that or the type of honey in this is really overpowering and not flattering on me. retesting, this just seems to be mostly about the cake and less about the lavender honey. a rich cake with a rich honey
? Lavender Lemon Bar Perfume Oil
speculation: yesss lavender lemon
reality: on my busted ass epidermis this is lemon pledge. resting the decant a bit longer it's less rude, but still weirdly non-foodie.
?Lick it With Consent Perfume Oil
speculation: weirdly never tried a lick it before, gonna rectify that
reality: soo much bracing mint. where sugar? where vanilla? ok ok no no this is good, it just takes a bit. I thought I would like this because I like Alisz, and that tracks.
Pumpkin Gingerbread Creme Brulee Pie Perfume Oil
speculation: hnnng idk how this one could go wrong, but I don't always want to smell like the things I want to eat.
reality: hnnng yes it is perfectly pumpkiny deliciousness. but after resting the decant longer, the spice seems to throw off the balance. hm.
Skogtroll Perfume Oil
speculation: kinda scared of it but I gotta know. Bridge Trolls is amazing.
reality: nice, but not as nice as Bridge Trolls.
? Slug Perfume Oil
speculation: a SLUG SMELL. also I like honey.
reality: this is gorrrgeous. but is it too gorgeous for me? it's like sunshine: bright, lightly sweet, and almost clean.
Slushy Snowballs Perfume Oil
speculation: in my head I want this to be a warm scent but it's definitely a cold scent so I need to put it in my nostrils to see what it's like.
reality: oh no this is like a scent equivalent of a room lined with acoustic panels, soft and still. I can still pick out the snow white snow in the drydown tho.
? Sugar Cookies and Bourbon Perfume Oil
speculation: still wary of sugar cookies but I love the whiskey/bourbon note.
reality: this is a very fine cookie scent that works for me!
Vintage Mrs. Claus Blow Mold Perfume Oil
speculation: cmon bread pudding with strawberry cream? gotta try it.
reality: a little too ephemeral, not enough pudding
Weed and Fruitcake Perfume Oil
speculation: I like the weed note and I love Red Velvet Tuxedo, so I'm imagining a dank tuxedo? idk we shall see. might be fun to layer with the sugar cookie/bourbon blend.
reality: this is no tuxedo! nor is it my fav Weed & Whiskey. but it is fun and good.
Late addition FOMO decanteronis:
Grasshopper Pie: nothingpie on my skin
Hildegard's Cakes of Joy: this is a solid one that wears well
Mari Lwyd: just curious to compare to my 2021 bottle
Marshmallow Snow: very pretty but all snow white on the drydown
To A Wreath of Snow: I want to like this sooo much but I can't hang with tobacco flowerrr.

Indie Perfume Collection [12/2023]
Here is my current full size indie perfume collection! I've been meaning to whittle this collection down, and over the past few years I really have! It's funny how so many of my favorites are perfumes from almost a decade ago that I still cherish to this day. Clearly I move through oils rather slowly. Over time I want to go through and add mini reviews to each of these since that will be fun. Here's to keeping this collection curated! Link to my bottle collection can also be found here!
Total Bottles (38)
? Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab (17)
General Catalogue
- Eat Me - Gorgeous cake, earthy woody black currant, and a hint of juiciness from red currant. It’s round, intoxicating and not super sweet. Age has done wonders for this beauty.
- No. 93 Engine - This honestly has just gotten even better with age. Herbs, resin, besswax, and benzoin. It's golden, spicy, and rich, and it's really mellowed out with time. No edges at all.
- Snake Oil - My bottle is rather old so the oil is thick and gloriously terracotta colored. It smells of spices, musk, incense, and a sweet sugared vanilla underneath it all. A triumph of a scent that is best experienced with a light hand.
- Tamora - A warm, fuzzy, amber and peach perfume to end all peach perfumes. Sweet, a hint fruity, golden, and rich. It’s like a warmed summer day where you can feel the heat envelop you, but the juice of a ripe fuzzy peach keeps you refreshed while sitting in your wicker chair.
- Zombi - Dry decaying greenery, wet earth, and roses. It’s a bit powdery and musky. I used to love this, and in a way I still do, but that musky powdery edge is a little bracing. I will keep this for now, but one day it might make its way out of my collection.
Special General Catalogue Collections
- Hand of Glory (Carnaval Diabolique) - Leather and beeswax and a good dose of sandalwood underneath it all. The leather is so creamy and supple and buttery and positively frenched with melted lightly sweetened candles. A favorite comforting leather.
- Lady Una (Neil Gaiman: Stardust) - It’s just as I remember it, a comforting vanilla green tea with a healthy dose of a beeswax like honey and lightly spiced, lightly green berries. It’s a bit lactonic but also comforting and a little laundry like and fresh. A bit of a conundrum, but a lovely one.
- Temple Viper (Carnaval Diabolique) - Sugary incense, resins, vanilla, a bit of smoke, and patchouli. There is also an addicting, lovely, powdery champaca floral tone running through which keeps this a bit lighter than regular Snake Oil. I used to wear a ton of Snake Oil and Samhain, so this reminds me of my college days but it’s something I can still wear and adore!
- Wulric, the Wolfman (Carnaval Diabolique) - Cocoa and lavender with a large dose of vanilla and a hint of something herbal that keeps this from getting too sweet. Delicious and perfect, especially for sleep!
Discontinued and LE
- Celeste (BPTP) - Buttery, sugary vanilla, and powdery orchids. It’s very lady-like, and it smells like a lightly purple, velvety, powdery, floral marshmallow.
- Edith Cushing (Crimson Peak) - Predominantly vanilla musk and grey amber on me. I absolutely adore a light amber scent, and this is a stunning one. It almost has a sweet floral quality that makes it quite approachable. Not the most unique, but lovely nonetheless.
- My Little Grotesque (Lilith) - Vanilla cardamom cake, nothing more, nothing less. Cardamom and vanilla are two of my absolute favorites so this is a cozy favorite, and I adore that the gourmand vanilla cake note is the same as in Eat Me.
- Paduan Killer Swarm (2010) - It's sweet, cozy, resinous, and warm. The tonka and licorice are at the forefront when it is wet, but when it dries down the spices and woods come forward to make it feel a little less juicy. It's still an absolute cozy favorite of mine in a similar vein to the Soldier.
Halloweenie
- a World Where There Are Octobers (2013) - The initial blast is all bell pepper, green and dry and a little spicy. It dries down with a bit more of a dry sweetness (like maple syrup without the syrup) and a bit of fall spices. It’s still peppery, but the “green” aspect is mostly gone. Very atmospheric and unique.
- Golletes (2010) - Lovely, pink, and foody. Of all the foody scents I have, this is BY FAR my favorite. It's just delectable without being too heavy.
Yules
- Snow-Flakes (2009) - I don’t think there will ever be a prettier snow perfume than this one. Minty, slushy, aquatic snow, and something ethereal tying it all together, something floral I think. It’s a crisper, cooler version of Snow White. I am desperate for another bottle.
- the Soldier (2010) - This starts off as all red musk, black tea, a bit of creaminess, and gourmand anise which I'm assuming is the pie! No black pepper in sight! It's gotten richer and more gourmand over time and has this syrupy almost honeyed red musk and licorice pie vibe now, less tea.
? Arcana and Arcana Craves (3)
- Astrid's Diadem (Discontinued) - This smells like a delicious lemon merengue with a hint of mint and something a little herbal. There is no cookie or a baked feel, just cream, sugar, a touch herbal lemon, and mint.
- Honey Craves Sunshowers - Golden glorious vanilla cardamom with an herbal cardamom at the forefront. It’s absolutely stunning.
- Vanilla Craves Crescent Moons - This smells like the prettiest floating fluffy milk scent. I don’t get any floral, just sweet slightly fatty lactones. Like heavy whipping cream, not butter?
? Fantôme (3)
- Finist the Falcon - Juicy rose jam with velvety currant and a hint of cream underneath it all. My favorite rose. It’s lush, juicy, and delicious without going gourmand or fruity. Just a vibrant beating heart of a rose.
- the Fox Sisters - If I had to pick a "signature" scent, it would be this one. It's a cardamom forward chai latte, and it fulfills my wish of both smelling like a snack and being a snack. Perfection.
- Lycanthrope - Fresh, sweet, and sparkly from the bottle, but on skin a bitter, herbal, freshness from the tomato leaf starts to bloom. There is depth from the oakmoss and lingering sweetness from lychee, peach, and a dash of honey. Overall a gorgeous sweetened fresh spring garden botanical.
? Mythpunk Olfactive (2)
- Mossmallow Puff - Initially the vanilla marshmallow vanilla is strong with hardly any earthiness, but then the earthy notes peak out and balance the scent quite nicely. I get a lot of rain, moss, and a touch of sweet amber. It reminds me of an early morning rain shower, when dawn is just creeping over the horizon, and you’re outside getting drenched in the rain in your prettiest white dress.
- Strangeling - This is an earthy, dry, mossy, matcha powder and oolong tea with no sweetness whatsoever. The matcha and tea drenches ink stained pages of yellowed ancient books with slightly vanillic binding. Still, there is no sweetness. It’s quite herbal, but there is no sharpness. It’s got a round warm and dry quality to it. Almost like someone is brewing a cup of green tea on a dry day. I’ve never encountered anything like this, and I love how the tea is not tempered by any sweetness and the journey the scent takes me on.
? Nocturne Alchemy (4)
- Blue Egypt - The perfect perfume to wear to sleep and perhaps my favorite from Nocturne Alchemy. It's juicy but soft and sweet lavender and chamomile tea.
- Eternal Ankh - A cool floaty soft vanilla, mostly vanilla with a dollop of white amber. It’s a bit fluffy and powdery and definitely needs some age on it to become beautiful, but once it does? Stunning. It's a classic for a very good reason.
- Moonstone (Studio) - A slightly powdery marshmallow vanilla. It stays close to the skin and is very lightly sweetened. I suspect this needs age.
- Opal Vanilla (Studio) - Cozy, sweet, condensed milk vanilla that is more potent in the bottle than on skin. It’s sweet and lactonic and less buttery than I expected. I suspect this needs age as well!
? Poesie (6)
- Comfort (Winter LE) - A lightly spiced, lightly woody, lightly musky, lightly sweet, enveloping vanilla. Comfort is a good name for this since it smells like a lovely cozy sweater and is perfect for layering.
- Curiouser and Curiouser (LE) - It's a fluffy and sweet vanilla with a hit of freshness keeping it from getting heavy at all. It reminds me of a lighter, fresher BPTP Celeste but without the "purple" that I largely get from Celeste.
- Emmeline Pankhurst (LE) - This is Poesie’s tea note with a heaping helping of cool, airy, earthy stone and musk. It’s a pretty, chilly, but more bracing version of their Twice to Tea classic. Initially, the earthy watery elements are strongest, but over time the tea and earthy notes balance each other out. It’s a soft crisp blend that feels both cuddly and invigorating.
- Poison Pen Lane (LE) - Black tea, berry jam, and a hint of something absolutely snuggly and woodsy underneath it all. This perfume is delicious, cozy, and perfect for fall. The berries are decidedly blueberries, and they recede a bit over time. This feels like a more nuanced, cozy, and grounded take on their Twice to Tea classic.
- Twice to Tea - It's a sweet scent that has bits of tea, vanilla, milk, lavender, and that sweetness that comes with earl grey tea. It's not super foody but is more of a perfume version of a rather sweet tea if that makes sense.
- Velvet Moon (Collab) - Initially, this smells like a whisper of a sweet cardamom vanilla. It’s so light I can barely smell it, but in the drydown, it transforms to this papery inky library scent. I really do sense the flickering candle-smoke and hardwood shelving. It’s incredibly evocative.
? Possets (2)
- Black Annis (Halloween Retour) - Medicinal, herbal, and slightly sweet black licorice. Dark, inky, and absolutely gorgeous. This is the anise perfume of my dreams.
- Pavane - Cardamom sugar cookies! A rich spiced gourmand that is neither too rich and sweet nor too spicy. It’s a delectable combination of the two, and I love wearing this snuggled up in a sweatshirt with a book in hand.
? Treading Water (1)
- Déchets - The prettiest fresh floral jasmine scent. I don’t even like jasmine, and I find this to be so lovely. It’s airy and pretty and warm and almost vanillic.

Switch witch 2023
Anything of interest from Cellar Door? (They have candles and soaps.)
Candle preferences are woody oud and resinAre you into wax melts, candles, incense, room sprays, or none of the above?
All of the aboveWould you like anything from Luvmilk's Monster Mash?
Im not sure those scents are for me
I dye yarn. Are you a person who crafts with such? What fiber, weights, and colors would tickle your fancy? Would you rather have two different 100g skeins or enough of the same something for a bigger project?YES! My stash got ruined in a flood so all my good yarn is no longer good. A pretty devastating loss to be honest. I tend towards the soft end and like silk and bamboo blends. Colours are faily easy, jewel tones, blacks and greys. DK, sock/4 ply would get the most use,
Provided my experiments work, would you be interested in a bar of homemade tallow soap? I promise I will not send you anything particularly suspect, so this is entirely contingent upon my competence. No thank you, I'm veggie
Do homemade caramels or shortbread tickle your fancy?
Absolutely
9/8
because I’m a knitting kind of witch, would you appreciate a pair of hand knit socks. If yes, would you like them in a particular colour?I have very particular sock needs because my ankles are large and swell, so it might not be a good idea without serious discussions.
What type of spooky season imagery do you like? (Ie. bats, ghosts, vintage Halloween, etc.)
I'm a spooky bitch, I love it all. Vintage halloween less so but autumnal leaves, witches, cats, ghosts bats.. Bring it on!
Astrid's Autumn Line and Anniversary Tea Party just dropped. Anything you want?
I tried to look this up but couldnt find what it is.
Homemade and preserved food goodies - Which of these things would you like my dear witchie? All are organic and grown or made by me.
sun-dried heirloom tomatoes
dried ancho chile peppers - can be whole halves or ground into a delicious powder
sugar-free candied pecans and walnuts or almonds
gourmet quality fudge in many flavors (formerly from my ETSY shop which I had to close until I have my own home again) please give me an idea the kinds of flavors you like. My more popular ones are Penuche, Choc & PB, Pumpkin pie, Forest fruit (with cherries, blueberries and cranberries), Vegan chocolate
dried italian plums (pitted)
sugar-free canned plum or logan berry jam
freshly dried rosemary, thyme, basil, parsley individually or in combo
almond flour baked goods (low carb, sugar free, and gluten free) - give me examples of savory and sweet things you'd like
I'm nut free, and a spice wuss, so its really just the canning, dried herbs and fudge
Might you like a witch hat? Later this month I'm taking a class at an area museum where I'm supposed to decorate 2 hats. Also I crochet wicked cute witchy hats.
ooooh yes!
9/9
Do you see anything here that interests you? They have dry shampoos, whipped soaps, awesome hand cream, linen spray, sugar scrubs and perfume. https://www.etsy.com/shop/faefragrance/?etsrc=sdt
They all sound lovely. Id be unlikely to use any perfume but everything else

Anything you want from my favorite local tea shop? www.fridaytea.com
Harvest spice, second breakfast (I'm basically a spooky punk hobbit)
How about from my skincare person? drjensbeautylab.com/
I always need hyleronic acid.
How about from my witchy Chandler? https://www.etsy.com/shop/TeresaLynnsSimpleLux
Anything within my usual scent profile (woody, oud, resin, musk) or tea preferences (black or fruit)
It's also that time of year where I make handmade soap (usually with calendula infused olive oil, tallow, oatmeal and honey) and candles (feel free to specify color and size, I don't usually scent them, but I do have a clover and apple scent I've been wanting to play with). I can also annoint and dress candles with TALs and herbs. Any interest? No tallow thanks
I also grow herbs which can be culinary or magical. I'd be happy to prepare a smudge or dry some herbs for your enjoyment. I currently have oregano (yellow and standard), mugwort, thyme, sage (purple or garden), tea peppermint, chives, lovage, plantain, comfrey, raspberry leaf, and yarrow. I'm probably forgetting something.
Any of these in raw form would be great
I also make salves! My go to in an arnica, calendula and comfrey mix for healing wounds or chapped skin. This can also be used on pet paws. We do have barely enough time that I could do a custom infusion.
I have done this in the past especially arnica, callendula and yarrow, so I'm game.
9/11
Anything in the Paintbox Soapworks Halloween update looking good to you? https://paintboxsoapworks.com/new-limited-edition/2023-weenie-collection/

9/13
What is your feelings on seasonal mugs? Yes or, no? Too many in your house or bring them on??
I have a million all year round halloween mugs and am always happy for more (though I've banned myself from buying myself any more)
Are your wishlists - Amazon, Etsy, etc - up to date, and if so, are they all linked somewhere that I can find them? They should be linked in my very out of date SW help page in my sig. I cant work out how to update the sw post but the lists are up to date and extensive.. The etsy is huge and I dont expect people to go through it all, its more there as a guide for my style and likes.
Do you have anything you use every day that you wouldnt mind getting more of?
Things I use every day that I'd happily have more of. Fortenam and Mason royal blend tea, any cat supplies, Skincare: Pixi glow tonic, Pixi milky mist, Liz earle vanilla cleanser, the ordinary The buffet serum. Reusuable face pads, muslin face cloths.
Anything you love or need to have from Adagio or Rishi teas?
I could use one of their over cup tea strainersList here things you wish you would've added to your questionnaire
9/14
Nocturne Alchemy just dropped their Halloween update! You like the looks of anything? https://nocturnealchemy.com/collections/limited-collectionIt all seems fairly heavy on the florals so not really for me.
Is there anything you would like from the Weenie update?
Palo santo and pachouli hair oil, a melancholy of gothsHow do you feel about stickers? If positively, are there any themes you'd rather not have stickers of? Yes absol
What about crystals, cool rocks, and gemstones?

How do you feel about Squishmallows and Squishables? (They have mini and micro sizes for those who like cute plushies but don't have a lot of space.) Halloween ones.

f you are a person who appreciates tarot and oracle decks, do you have a strong preference about receiving new ones vs gently/barely used?I am and have no issues with used ones, but if I'm honest I have a dozen decks and really use two of them
Are you a Studio Ghibli fan, and if so, what are your feelings about fan made art featuring characters? I love ghibli. Especially kiki's delivery service, howl's moving castle and sprited away

oh, interesting! Maybe!
If you are so inclined, do you want or need any natural items or ingredients for spellwork that could be collected from forests, ocean, fields or stream? I also have access to oak gall ink and various other esoteric substances.
Theres nothing I specifically need.

Not really
Do you enjoy any of the scented items from Victoria's Secret?
No
Would you be interested in receiving a silver locket with papyrus and herbs inside, as a protective amulet?
Sure!
9/21
So Witchee mine, are you a spellworker? - any interest in acorns from a tree known as The Mother Oak at my Ren Fest grounds. It is the biggest tree I've ever seen in MI. It is cared for by tree scientists from MSU. It is the mom to every other oak on the grounds. Saturday is Mabon & I will go & gather acorns before the park opens to patrons as I do each year. But this time it's actual Mabon. So Witchee dearest, would you like some? Thank you but I have my own old oak.
Witchee, do you like anything from Lenny Mud?
No thank you
9/22
From previous questions you've answered, I know a lot about the teas you'd like from specific places, but I want to know your more general tea preferences. Black, green, white, rooibos, oolong, herbal?
- Japan is particularly big on their green tea and hojicha (roasted green tea), any interest?
- My partner has given me an extraordinary amount of rooibos from South Africa. It's amazing and I'd like to share, so would you like some?Black tea, berry or apple based fruit tea. I dont like white green or gunpowder.
