Notes I love: VANILLA, honey, beeswax, tonka, marshmallow, cream, benzoin, oudh, sweet patchouli, sandalwood, amber, frankincense, myrrh, copal, olibanum, daemonorops, opoponax, opium tar, incense in general, red musk, black musk, siberian musk, indian musk, blue musk, musk in general, clove, cardamom, cinnamon, carnation, rose, lavender, geranium, ylang ylang, black orchid, black lily, blackcurrant bud, leather, tobacco (but not tobacco flower), cigar smoke, mahogany, cedar, pine, sage, fir, teak, coconut, anise, sassafras, white tea, black tea, etc. I do like the lab's snow note.I like LUSH's Jasmine but not in BPAL or NAVA. Not usually all about the fruit but sometimes I need lemon, lime, strawberry, plum, peach, apple, fig, pumpkin, cheesecake, orange, cherry/almond, etc. Usually mixed with vanilla, musk, patchouli or something "darker".I do not like DIRT. Most things with "Blossom" in them do not work on me (plum blossom, cherry blossom, orange blossom, peach blossom, etc.) Vetiver and I don't get along if the vetiver is overpowering (which it usually is to me. I think Blood Kiss and Lunar Eclipse are some of the only vetiver scents I wear.) Gardenia does not usually work on me although I love the flowers in person. Same with violet - I like violet flavored things but the BPAL violet gives me a headache. I do not really like anything coffee scented (soap, candles, etc - or flavored for that matter, except coffee itself.) Not big on florals except what I've listed. I do like "floriental" type scents. Things with rum make me cry because usually all of the other notes rock but the rum kills it. Same with champagne. Not big into aquatics or air type scents either. Don't like cocoa or chocolate scents. Or caramel. At least not in candles, bath and body things, etc. I like the smell of those in actual food.Favorite scents are All Saints (rose heavy ones), Angeronalia, Antique Lace, Baku, Banshee Beat, The Beldam, Bitch, Black Lace, Black Opal, Brom Bones, The Cat (Coraline), Celeste, Clock Strikes Midnight, Coiled Serpent, Dark Delicacies, De Sade, Dead Dreams of Days Forsaken, Dead Man's Hand, Die Sundë, Dragon's Milk, Dysopes Tenuis, Ecclesiastical Excesses, Ecstasy of True Love, Eldritch Dark, Elephantine Colossus, Elizabeth of Bohemia, Fairy Market, Falling Leaf Moon, Feed Me & Fill Me with Pleasure, Glasya, Gluhwein, Go to Sleep Darlings, Green Tree Viper, Grr, Halloween: Las Vegas, Harp of Cnoc I'Chosgair, Haunted Palace, Hesiod's Phoenix, Humbug, In the Forest, Infernal Lover, Inganok Jewelers, Interfector, Joyful Moon, Katrina Van Tassel, Krampus, Krampus' Chains, Krampus' Shadow, La Lugubre Gondola, L'Autunno, Le Pere Fouettard, L'Estate, Lilith Victoria, Loli.Goth, Love, Loviator, Lughnasadh, Masque, Mead Moon, Midway, Mme. Feed Me and Fill Me With Pleasure 2024

This smells similar to the original to me (I find Goblin to be closer to Banshee Beat / Revenant Rhythm) but doesn't yet have the depth that patchouli gets from aging. Will set aside for a year or so!

    Our Lady of Pain 2024

Maybe my nose is broken because this smells very similar to the original to me, but not aged into lovely deep richness that I remember my last bottle of OLoP being. I am thinking it will age wonderfully.

    The Picture of Dorian Sufganiyot

Apologies for my massive brain fog which doesn't let me use the words but I really like this one and might need a back up bottle before they come down. (I can't remember what the OG Dorian smelled like on me (I destashed it years ago) and don't have any of the new Dorian.)

    Mandarin, Black Vanilla, and Patchouli

This smells fantastic in the bottle and wet on my skin, but the dry down morphs into something that smells not great with my skin chemistry. boo.
  5. twilighteyes

    Ghost Milk

I also get some kind of spice to this, I keep checking the notes each time I open the bottle to sniff it, sure that there must be cardamom in it. That's really all I can smell, is cardamom. (new version, not the original.)

2024 Late Winter Art / Craft Swap

would you like hand knit items? Fingerless gloves, hats, small shawl or neck gaiter? If yes, please give measurements. I always love fingerless mitts but I am very picky about using a super stretchy cast on and bind off because I have huuuuge hands. I don't wear cowls or traditional knitted hats. I do have a bundle on Ravelry called "make for me" if you need ideas... it has a lot of amigurumi because I'm not great at crocheting... also lots of colorwork and double knitting. 😂 Honestly, I'm too hot 99.99999999% of the time and I wear t-shirts / shorts / sandals (no socks) when it's 40 outside and am comfortable. So some of the costume-y hats on my list or amigurumi would probably get more use than mitts or a shawl right now since I make my own. My head is: 23" My wrist is: 8.25" My palm above thumb is: 8.5" Where I would start/stop a thumb gusset is: 3.25" Let's say I'm going to make something with your favorite non-fantasy animal that comes in multiple colors of coat. Do you want the "classic" color or would you like one of their lesser depicted colors? Or a fantasy color like blue or purple? If you're going to make me something with piggies (and they're ALWAYS commonly depicted as pink which I personally find annoying because those are usually hogs, not pigs) I would really prefer the color that my piggies are (Duckie - Gold, Snuffie - Amber with black spots. Lots of photos on my instagram.) If it's pibbles, I love "blue" (ie, steel grey.) White stripe up the nose optional. Friesians are always black, I like black but a purple or blue tone would be fun too. Ferrets I love the "dark eyed white" color. Ratties I love blue hooded. Bats, black and grey are great but whatever fantasy color (purple? dark red? blue?) is fine too. Did I miss any? https://www.instagram.com/miss_twilight/ (my main insta, I don't post a lot) https://www.instagram.com/no.dana_only.zuul/ (dogs insta, haven't posted in a long time) Would you rather your creation had utility, or was simply aesthetic? Up to you, I'm good either way. I have multiple ideas. Would you like to see one idea repeated across two or three... "things", or would you like two or three different ideas manifested? (Alternatively expressed as matching set vs. unrelated expressions.) I'm good with both! What are you hoping "I" will make "you"?? I don't even know myself! I don't wear jewelry anymore for a variety of reasons (allergic to metal except sterling silver and surgical steel, but can't wear metal necklaces at all because the chain irritates my neck no matter what it's made of .. can only wear silk ribbons or leather right now but don't.) My ears and body piercings are all healed up. I knit, so I don't really *need* knitted things. I have 10+ prints waiting for frames, but frames are kind of at the bottom of my expenditure lists. Things that I could in my window, or outside, or put in the garden? I'll treasure whatever anyone makes me, so make whatever you'd like. Just because I don't *need* things doesn't mean I won't LOVE them. What are your feelings about bags? Do you like certain size? Would you be okay with a purely decorative small bag, or does that just sound bonkers? Well, I do live with someone who has an etsy shop that sells project bags, so I have a LOT of bags of a project size. I'm not sure what I would do with a purely decorative small bag unless it contains something smelly to stuff in my sock drawer or the like. Or if it's appropriate to hang off a belt which dress up for a Renn Faire (in which case I would give it to my son.) Other than that, I don't really use bags other than grocery size bags and while I have a ton of those, sometimes I still buy more when Trader Joes comes out with a new cool design... but I will always take your bags.

    Batty Lace

I'm not getting leather at all. I don't love caramel in perfume and luckily that is not very noticeable either, if there at all on me. I wish it would last longer on my skin but maybe I'll scent locket it!

    Krampusnacht 2023 Answers

Paintbox Soapworks Yule is coming out! Are you interested in any (especially their not-Krampus-but-Sinister) of their offerings? I love the Bath Streusel and Sorbetto! Also wax melts! Would love to try Joulupukki wax melts! Would definitely take Roses in the Snow (I had some of the OG), Sugar on Snow, and/or Schwarzwald (prefer sorbetto or wax melts for the last three. Sample size is great!) Maybe Orange and Yellow or Black Twig? Honestly, all of her stuff smells fantastic. When I do big orders she pops in samples of things I didn't order and then I'm all, wow this is great too. Of the older offerings, I'm a fan of Right Red Hand (sorbetto, wax melts) and The Queen is Dead (wax melts) and would love to try Fantasticake (sorbetto, bath streusel, or wax melts), Let me in at your Window (bath streusel, sorbetto or wax melts), GTFO (sorbetto or wax melts), Deacon (sorbetto), Karen Rose Signature (sorbetto), Rice Pudding (sorbetto), The Sword & The Eastern Sky (wax melts), 221B (wax melts), The Wooden God (wax melts), Waking the Witch (wax melts), Pussy Hat (sorbetto) ... (You'd think Moonshadow would be my favorite but some reason I didn't like this one. First time for everything I guess.) Interested in any of the Haus of Gloi Yule (or other things on their website?) I would love Nefarious Gingerbread Man in the sugar exfoliant or bubbling scrub! Body powder would be fun in Long Winter's Nap or Turkish Delight! Would always take candles or melts in Turkish Delight or Nefarious Gingerbread Man as well. Actually Tannenbaum also sounds like a great candle scent. Would you be interested in any tea from August or Brutaliteas (the latter even has a Krampus-inspired tea)? Or, is there any tea from another purveyor you are lusting after? August: OMG there is a new tea -- Wild Heart Smoky Lavender Oolong tea! I'm not especially an oolong fan, but I would try this because hello lapsang souchong! And even though I'm not a fan of malt, I kind of want to try the chocolate cherry tea (Cabaret.) Last time I got samples of Avalon, Mojave, Breakfast, Dolomite, Civil Disobedience (because they were out of the 15 cup bags, sniff) and 15 cup bags of Metropolitan, Gold Rush, and Outlaw. I would take more Civil Disobedience if that comes back in stock and I still need to test the samples. Their Dots & Loops was actually amazing so now I am into trying apple teas (Dots and Loops was apple and anise/fennel, I love anise / fennel in my tea!) so I am curious about the Beltane (Apple Blossom Oolong) although it uses words like "mild" and "crisp" and "earthy" so ... they lost me there, but then they say "buttery baked apple" and I'm conflicted, haha. Brutaliteas: would totally try: * Butterbotch (I love butterscotch tea!!!) * Back in Blackberry * Cakes on a Plane * Chaiday the 13th * Cherrie * Cherrifier * Decomprose * Hot for Peacher * The Silence of the Jams * Waking the Lavender * War Figs * Cotton Candyman * Malloween * Violet Cremes * Honeydew Hast * Neetlejuice * Jams (No Rooibos/Honeybush, Mate/Yerba Mate, Pu Erh, Walnut, Coffee, Chili, chamomile, etc. That leaves the Krampus inspired tea out as it has Pu Erh in it. Shudder.) Coalition tea makes a great Krampus blend though! https://www.coalitiontea.com/products/krampus-loose-leaf-holiday-blend-3-oz?variant=42703402467479 or if you want free shipping with $35, they have an etsy store too. https://www.etsy.com/listing/1032537068/certified-elephant-friendly-krampus?ref=cart&variation0=3062772331 Is there any international snack you would love to get your hands on? (I can check and see if the International Marketplace in my city has it!) I love things like clotted cream, sticky toffee pudding, japanese kit kats, ... um... brain fog.. I love all kinds of fud. Victim, how would you like an adorable Krampus t-shirt? I found two cute ones (one a pastel Krampus Cat and one is a more direct, olde timey Krampus), in both ladies and gent sizing. If you're interested let me know what size you'd like ASAP so I can order one for you! I don't do Pastel but I do have Krampus shirts on my etsy wishlist. I wear an 18/20 in women's, so usually at least a 2xl womens. are you interested in homemade brown sugar shortbread? I can do plain, or different flavor combinations incorporating chocolate, orange, cherry, lavender, rose, peppermint. Last year I made some lavender peppermint that was super yum. I love shortbread (especially chocolate -- like the chocolate walker's shortbread is the BEST.) But I'd be up for rose or lavender. or ORANGE CHOCOLATE. I don't really like mint in anything except my mint tea with licorice. What are your feelings about fruitcake? This is full of fruit, booze and nuts and marzipan if I can find it. It's not your grocery store fruitcake. I have only had one fruitcake I love - a cherry almond marzipan fruitcake with amaretto. (You can make your own marzipan or get it at world market.) It has dried pears in it too but you can't really taste them. How about infused moonshine whiskey? Only if it's smooth and delicious. *wink* How do you feel about graphic novels and manga? Any favorites? I used to like them (especially things like Sandman, Watchmen, V, Lucifer, etc.) but I can't really read them anymore because my eyes suck. I have to read things electronically where I can adjust the size of the font and that's no fun with graphic novels or comics. Victim, would you be interested in a knitted or crocheted Krampus thing? I NEED the crocheted Krampus hat with the horns. I have the pattern already but I don't crochet. Would you like a handmade wreath? I have made two in the past and really enjoyed the process, If so can you please let me know what your color preferences are. Do you tend to like sparse wreathes or packed ones? How would you feel about a Krampus wreath or would you prefer a general seasonal one? I would absolutely hang one on the door or somewhere in the house! Krampus wreath!!!! I mean, I love Black, Silver, and Purple but those don't seem very Krampus-y so maybe Black, Red, Green, Silver? I don't know! Anything except brown / yellow / orange / tan / cream is probably great! Ummm not totally sparse so maybe more packed? teeturtle is having one of their megasales - anything look fun to you? (they have way more than just t-shirts) https://www.teeturtle.com/ Always!! I usually do the women's in a 2xl but the last one I got is kind of large on me (I've lost weight, huzzah) so maybe I could try an XL? However be aware that teeturtle sometimes has REALLY slow shipping and may not ship in time for you to send by the deadline. I have designs on my amazon wishlist that I would love (put them there before the universal wishlist thingy went away.) https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/39Q05UJVXC9BW?ref_=wl_share I have lots from teepublic and teefury too. Here's some new ones that aren't on my list: And look! teeturtle has a Krampus shirt!! https://www.teeturtle.com/products/have-yourself-a-scary-little-christmas-krampus?variant=19577791462777 and Cthulhumas!! https://www.teeturtle.com/products/merry-cthulhumas?variant=19577791490179 And I love the Jack Skellington with the snowflake (What's this?) https://www.teeturtle.com/products/whats-this?variant=19577791480093 I love all of the unicorn pins (holiday or not) and fox pins as well.

  10. 8/29 would you like a scarf? If so, colors, length, iwide or skinny? Bulky yarn or thin and slinky?? Nah, I don't wear scarves unless they are really intense double knitting or colorwork. I prefer long shallow crescent shawlettes! How about some dishcloths, for the kitchen? Or spa cloths for the bathroom? If so, which? Any particular colors?? I would take dishcloths for the kitchen made with scrubby! Can always use more cloths for the bathroom too. Colors would be the same as my usual favs. Purples, blacks, jewel toned blues. No neons, pastels, or navy. Would you like any of Cat Coven's Halloween goods? It's her original artwork based on medieval art. (It's a limited edition of everything, so hopefully things arent sold out yet.) I don't think I see anything that I super need. I like her t-shirts and dresses but they are pretty spendy compared to teeturtle sales. I love her goat pin but not in gold, plus it's sold out. Look at The Green Salmon's webpage The Green Salmon - do you fancy any of the teas, coffees etc? The Green Fairy latte mix sounds interesting. Rootin' Tootin' Licorice Chai. Green Salmon Black Tea Chai Latte mix. Organic Daydreamer's Tea. Any of the dark roast blends (whole bean.) Any of the cocoas except the berry, but especially the super shroom or the maca. What are your favorite halloween/samhain treats to eat? Please be specific. I have access to various candy stores, including healthy candy lol. Soul cakes or Barmbrack or Fadge (I like mine with dried fruit like cherries and spices like cloves, cardamom, cinnamon, sometimes with cacao powder.) Colcannon or champ or farls. Mmmmm butter. Pumpkin bread (I love Smitten Kitchens recipe.) Pumpkin cheesecake. Pumpkin soup. Roasted hollowed out pumpkins with something yummy served inside, like our harvest ragout soup. Roasted carrots, cauliflower, potatoes, sweet potatoes, turnips, parsnips, cabbage, and other veggies. Fenberry Pie (savory pie with cranberries and chicken or other meat. Rabbit is excellent with it.) Baked apples and pears. Erbowle (hot liquidified plums spiced with cloves.) Salad with apples, pecans, hazelnuts, pomegranate, dried cranberries, blackberries, and some type of cheese. Apple butter or pumpkin butter. Apple cider or wassail. Caramel apples. Cinnamon and clove everything. Squash everything. Pumpkin ravioli. I don't usually eat corn (sooo much GMO corn out there), but I'll eat corn around samhain. Roasted or mexican street corn is my fave. And cornbread. - During this time I'll do kettle corn too. NOM. Sometimes caramel corn. Sorry, I can't think of any candy that I especially would only want around Samhain. (I don't do Hersheys or Nestle and prefer only ethical slave-free chocolate.) Maybe some of Holly's Penuche? Would you like any of these Snag Halloween tights? And if so, which of their sizes? https://snagtights.com/pages/halloween No thanks, I don't do tights. I'm lucky if I wear something other than tees/camis and pjs/shorts. Also is there anything you would particularly like from the UK? Everything! Tea (Bird & Blend, Whittard, Harrods, etc.) Chocolate! (NearyNógs!! Ombar? Solkiki! Lucocoa! Chocolate Tree (chocolate covered orange peel!!) Forever Cacao (drinking chocolate with coconut sugar!) London chocolate! (omg truffles, caramels, etc.) Montezumas (awesome looking truffles. Truffles and drinking chocolate are my favorite.) Wine gums! Lush! Future Primitive - Ghost Smoke everything! Red Dwarf all the things! I mean, really, I would probably spend like a million dollars (that I don't have) if I visited the UK. I really want to go to Wales, Scotland, and Ireland. I love knotwork, everything Arthurian, many BBC shows, ... Lots of good yarn there too!! I mean, there are probably so many things that I don't even know I want. Clotted cream! Clotted cream fudge! A decent pudding steamer! Sticky Toffee pudding recipes! I love tablet and tiffin. I'd love to try Custard Creams! Send me Jaffa cakes! Send me decent Jammie Dodgers! I love hob nobs digestives (no chocolate.) Vintage things from portobello road market? I love antique silver and glass crystal, especially purple glass or glass with neodymium in it. Cheese? Port (haha!) Whisky?? Chutney? Jam? Scone mix? Something awesome from Liberty Fabrics? (cotton, like quilting fabric or tana lawn - fat quarter or a yard.) Pim's No 1? Handmade things from a craft market? It's probably too hard to send me fish and chips, or great indian food, or afternoon tea, or scotch eggs, or cornish pastrys. bulbs / seeds? Give me a place to stay when I visit someday? 8/30 What Halloween things off RedBubble do you like? Share link if possible. I have RedBubble stuff on my amazon wish list (probably under clothing and under stickers.) 8/31 Is there anything you might want from Japan? Snacks (autumn flavors are out~), nerdy stuff, cute stuff anything! I love flavored kit kats!!! I like spooky washi tape or origami paper. I would love recycled kimono silk!! (purples, blues, black, grey preferred.) I love japanese incense (low smoke preferred but will take whatever.) I could use a soy sauce dish for sushi dipping, preferably with a meneki neko, or equine, or rabbit in the moon, or ... maybe a furoshiki cloth? I used to collect starbucks bears/city/Been There mugs, so any Japanese starbucks mugs (demitasse or ornament size would be great) or whatever. I see that the website for Starbucks Japan has siren bears right now!! Would love to try the japanese starbucks VIA Matcha or Hōjicha. The bear shaped cold drink tumbler is the CUTEST. I guess there are regional limited edition stuff that are only sold at certain stores too. Maybe a cool starbucks gift card (empty is fine because I doubt they are compatible with the US stores -- SBUX Japan is it's own company and not part of SBUX US.) that says Japan or something. Right now they should have the anniversary collection out but soon they will have a halloween collection too! caramel macchiato mooncake! Would love to try any snacks that are especially unique to Japan. Tokyo Honey Sugar Butter Cookies? Something with Sakura? Moon Festival items or snacks (mooncake?) Wagashi candy? Shittori Choco? Galbo (royal milk tea!!) Bisco? Bourbon Baum rolls? Pizza poteto? Black Thunder (custard apple pie sounds fantastic!) Konpeito Sugar Candy? Dorayaki (chocolate, custard, or matcha?) cream collons? caramels? Koala's march? (honey, matcha, or chocolate) Seasonal purple sweet potato flavored hi chew or other goodies? I mean, I've never been there so I don't know what I'd want? But I love sweet things and sometimes savory things. is there anything being removed from site or a virtual con scent you are interested in trying? I grabbed the virtual con scents I wanted. I am sooo behind on updating my wish list though! I think I'm ok on stuff leaving the site, although I missed out on Lupers. Moonalisa.....she just released her new Halloween scents, lip balm, candles, and soaps, want anything? (mooscents.com) I bought some lip balm, so I'm good. 9/1 I was wondering whether Tim Tams in any incarnation would tempt my witchee? I've had Tim Tams and thought they were only ok. I am a heathen! Maybe if there is a special seasonal flavor? I would take other sweet Australian goodies. Jaffs? Carmello Koala? Picnic bar? Anzac biscuits? Maggie Beer Fig and Fennel Paste? wagon wheels? Scotch finger biscuits? Iced vovos? cheese twisties? I would try a cherry ripe although I don't usually love coconut in candy bars. kingstons? hundreds & thousands? violet crumble? Any kind of snack that is australian that you like. no vegemite though, I can get that here. On the less sweet side, are there any other Australian things you might be tempted by? Starbucks Australia exclusive things? Bearista (looks like a Siren Bearista!) I am totally jealous of the Rabbit in the Moon hot beverage tumblers and water bottles that are out there right now. Any city mugs or "been there" mugs / demitasse / ornaments would be very welcome! Do you enjoy fanfic? I would be happy to write something for you, and/or read/comment upon/gush over thing(s) you've written, if that's something you'd enjoy... Not especially. Would you appreciate rare TAL decant(s) in 1 mL amber roll-on bottle(s)? Sure! How do you feel about enamel pins? If positively, which fandoms or topics would you like? I don't ever wear them. I have a bunch that are stuffed in a cookie jar. I could use a coffin shaped fabric thing to hang on the wall and put all of my pins on. Umm I don't even know what I want until I see it. 9/2 I make lightweight hairfalls, the kind that can be attached to a pony tail or to pig tails. They are good for those of us that are more tender-headed. I use a variety of materials like shibori ribbon, and puffy yarns and pieces of lace and silk. You can use them for every day or as part of your Weenie costume. Is this of interest to you? If so tell me what length, what color(s) and if you want one for a pony tail or two for pig tails. No thank you, I suck at putting those on, haha! During my recent travels I got to experience the incredible delight of Serge Luten perfumers here in Paris (imagine if the Lab and Anna Sui made babies inside a Cadbury Cream Egg decorated with stained glass windows and...you've come close to the experience of being in that shop). Anyway, after spending gobs of monies, they loaded me up with delectable samples of their insanely expensive wares- do you want some??? Um, YES. Haus Of Gloi just had their Halloween update! Anything appeal to you? https://www.hausofgloi.com/collections/fall-1 I would take Ghost Puffs in any of the scrubs/whipped soap and maybe a small body emulsion? Would take candles in any of these: Blueberry Tart, Lemon Marshmallow, Marshmallow Rose, Apple Milk, Blood Orange Marshmallow, Cozy Pumpkin, Ghost Puffs, Olde Cider Haus, Pumpkin Eater, Pumpkin Queen, Red Roan. (Candles would be for my mom.) Refresher sprays welcomed in Blood Orange Marshmallow or Ghost Puffs (or Lemon Marshmallow from summer area but there is only 1 left!) I would take butterbombs but I don't see any! 9/3 I just came across this Etsy shop (TheGrayMuse) and I WILL BE ORDERING and wondering if you would like something from there as well? Not really my thing. Future Primitive Soaps has released it's fall stuff. Would you like anything from there dearest witchee? https://futureprimitivesoap.co.uk Ghost smoke whipped soap or scrub! (I'd actually like her recipes for everything too, I think she sells those on her etsy.) I harvested some elderberries yesterday and I have a lot more out there, so I made a batch of elderberry syrup. Would you appreciate a 4oz bottle of it? Sure! Do you want anything from Sea Witch Botanicals (I can buy it locally from shops)? I love Sea Witch! *Scented Veil, Incense, or Candles scents: qouth the raven, white lodge, hermitage, herbal renewal, krampus (I have scented veil in krampus), green fairy, timberwolf, ostara, lammas... I think Hermitage would be my top pick in scented veil. EDIT: I would totally try the new Samhain incense!! *Would try the facial soap and facial care products, the shampoo bar, starry night lip balm, the homecleaning duo (on sale!) I love pinch pigs!! They're sold out at Sea Witch but I think etsy has a ton of them from various people. Hirons Drug Store - which is basically an Unbelievable place to browse for every kind of eclectic, fun, spooky, weird, and even useful thing you could want - so tell me some Odds And Ends of things you like or want, I know this is open ended, sorry - - gadgetry, stickers, toys, pens, costumery, snacks, decoration, kitchen stuff, etc Stickers, pens, snacks... Gift Certificates you'd like to places that are local to you? Yuppy Puppy (toenail trims) Mostly I like GC's for food because I'm poor and eating out is a treat. I eat total crap food when I eat out. Costa Vida, MOD pizza ... unfortunately the super local places don't have GC's. (The Steer Inn, The Ram, D'Lish's, etc.) How do you feel about ILNP nail polish and what are your favs from the new Cosmos collection and any others on their site?? I rarely wear nail polish, although ILNP is my fav! Would you be interested in anything from Alobudra? https://alobudrallc.company.site/products/ I am kind of intrigued by backflow incense but I would need a backflow incense holder. I saw one that is a gargoyle the other day and wanted it but resisted. I like mists, incense, bath salts, candles, resins... anything with my scent profile. are there any more “traditional” Japanese souvenirs you’d like to have (think chopsticks, tenugui, washi paper, etc.)? Minis of Sea Algae cleanser, Purple Reina facial scrub, and Vegan creme? Would you be interested in any jewelry or other items made with tiny bones from this shop? These are all kind of "my style". I'm an 18/20. Sorry, I didn't get link, just read that now, but I did cut and paste the actual name so they shouldn't be hard to find. I don't usually wear dresses much though, so the sleep stuff would probably get the most use. I kind of really want the hooded sleep jumpsuit, haha! Halloween Skull Print Hooded Zipper Sleep Jumpsuit (black or purple) Halloween Skull & Spider Web Print Pocket Sleep Pants Halloween Skull & Floral Print Bell Sleeve Dress Halloween Bat Print Elastic Waist sleep shorts Halloween Bat Pattern Mesh Pompom Trim Dress Halloween Bat Print Mesh Square Neck Dress Halloween Bat Print Pocket Button Up Sleep Jumpsuit Bat Print Pocket Square Neck Dress Halloween Skull Print Pocket Sleep Short Poesie Tea! Do you like? Some of my favorites are from this company. https://www.poesieperfume.com/loose-leaf-tea All of the black teas except the chestnut sound good. I don't do chamomile, rooibos/honeybush, pu-erh, or mate. I'm kind of meh about oolong and green unless it is very deliciously flavored. (I do like jasmine tea!) I don't often do tissanes/herbals, when I do it's usually basil/licorice/mint/eucalyptus (Breathe Easy original from Traditional Medicinals is one of my staples.) Please don't send me caffeine free tea / herbal tea / tissanes unless it's specifically on my wish list. 9/6 Would you like anything from Trader Joe's? (Pumpkin products are, sadly, not in stores yet, but they will be during this round!) I have a Trader Joe's so I'm probably good. I guess I should finish off the Pumpkin Sticky Toffee puddings from TJ's that I've been hoarding. And the maple bread. OM NOM NOM. Do you have any Halloween traditions? I used to ALWAYS do corn mazes but I haven't done one since moving to this side of the state. What about Halloween-related fandoms? (ie. The Nightmare Before Christmas) Yes, NBC is a big one. But like Halloween is Everyday. Ministry said so. non-U.S folks!!! We always end up asking what we'd like from your exotic-to-us locales, but do you have any wishes for things from the States? I iz in the states, but if you live in a place that has Starbucks Been There mugs or find a City Mug at a Thriftstore... think of me. I make things from thrifted sweaters that I cut up & make things from. Do you like armwarmers? I personally do not need any as I am too hot 99.99999999% of the time. But my son wears his ALL YEAR LONG, even when it's 100 outside. (hats too!) If you wanted to make him some, he would be so grateful! Long or short? Long long long Solid color ( elegant) or funky stripes made from multiple sweaters? Stripes or solid color both work. Fave colors? His fav colors are blue and green (jewel tone or dark - not navy, not pastels.) Is cashmere okay? Yes. Wool & related blends? ( I never use scratchy wool for arm warmers.) Great! Do you like buttons used decoratively? Absolutely. He loves dragons and pirates and vikings. I also do coiled & sewn rope work- it's functional art I wrap the rope in fabric & add appliques. I just had my first art show with these- bowls, trivets ( that can hang on the wall when not in use), coasters. Is this something you'd like ? Um, duh! What sort of Halloween fabric? Whimsical? Witchy, bats, mushrooms, moths? BATSSSSSSS. Also sugar skulls. Or sugar skully dogs. Gravestones. Spooky trees. Purple / black / grey / silver, no orange or yellow please. How gothy do you like? ALL THE GOTHY. have velvets & sparkly stuff to work with too. What is your preference witchee? oooh! Velvets! Except that they are probably harder to get dog hair out of. Just cotton is ok. Sparkly is good too. 9/7 How do you feel about cherry things? Check out Cherry Republic and let me know if anything catches your eye! I love cherry things! Cherry balsamic vinegar! dried cherries (whichever kind would be best in my cherry almond fruitcake.) Milk chocolate covered cherries and or dark chocolate cherry turtles. Cherry jam or preserves, or spiced cherry preserves. Cherry black tea. Shortbread. Cherry nut mix. Black Cherry Cream Soda, True Cherry Cola, Cherry Root Beer, Cherry Lime Soda. (I hardly EVER drink soda, but I would make an exception for these.) Similarly, are you into fancy flavors of olive oil or vinegar? Check out Fustini's and let me know if anything appeals! OMG I love flavored oils and vinegars! And really really really thick artisan balsamic vinegar. I bought a bottle of it at a renn fair of all places and my mom used it all! The nerve! (and I got her three bottles of flavored, sigh!) So probably the 12 or 18 year dark balsamic. If their balsamic is super thick, I would also probably love most of the fruit ones. (Cara Cara Vanilla, Peach, Raspberry, Apple, Mango, Pomegranate, Strawberry.) The really thick ones can be used as salad dressing (without oil) and that gets a lot of use at our place. The vanilla bean white balsamic sounds really interesting too! We also have an awesome store for jams and sauce, American Spoon which you should totally check out! Mmm! Maple Syrup, Star Thistle Honey, Raw Honey, Salted Maple Caramel, Maple Cream, Candied Pecans, Red Raspberry Butter, Damson Plum Preserves, Honeycrisp Apple Conserve, Spiced Pear Conserve... too many things. I just love food and this is why I need to be on my keto diet, haha! (I'm taking a break whenever I plateau, so I can still eat other things within reason.) Would you like some locally sourced maple syrup? oooh yes. Maple sugar treats are good too. Finally, I live in a place known for fudge. Do you like it and/or are their flavors you particularly like? My favorite shop is Murdick's if you need to see a flavor list. I love penuche (no nuts!) (Holly (Greenwoodtree) makes the BEST penuche! Holly's Apple Pie is amazing too.) Oooh they have BUTTERSCOTCH. One of my fav flavors for pudding and soda, haha. I would definitely try that! I also like chocolate with cherries, or chocolate peanut butter. Or peanut butter chocolate chip. chocolate caramel sea salt. plain chocolate. plain double chocolate. turtle! If I were at a store, I would want to sample the butter pecan and the maple bourbon pecan. and the vanilla. because those sound interesting but I don't know that I would want a whole slice. Can you get it in smaller quantities at the store? Anything from the IKEA Halloween store catch your witchy eye? https://www.ikea.com/ca/en/campaigns/halloween/ I do not. I would say the light up black tree, but I got one in a swap last year! Now I just need nightmare before christmas ornaments and tree topper for it! (ideas on my amazon holidays list) https://wildsoulriver.com I own the Magical Nature Tarot and love the feel of the cards. They have candles and teas and tinctures and books of the activist or witchy sort. Anything you see that you'd like? I would love a hagstone! The Herbal Spell Baths look fun. Honey, Maple Syrup. Wow, it sounds like the Wild Rose Essence was made for me. I live near a Penzey's Spice https://www.penzeys.com - do you cook? Not a lot because so many people here in the house and one is very controlling about food and the kitchen. - Do you want fancy schmancy spices or spice blends? I actually have a lot right now. The only kind of thing I really need is really good organic grass fed ghee. - If you cook is there a type of cuisine you are interested in learning more about and would appreciate a starter pack of spices for that type of cooking? Nope, I'm good. Colourpop's Haunted Mansion collection dropped today. If you're interested in makeup or skin care, are you interested in anything from Colourpop? https://colourpop.com/ https://colourpop.com/pages/wishlist?wishlist=0qICbpa-qefHhWGPKgoVk2QwlR1Dc2z4Gkf6Js1Qdg- I really kind of want the smoky eye palette. And the haunted mansion super shock eyeshadow. Anything of interest from Cellar Door? (They have candles and soaps.) I would love a Once Bitten candle but they are on the spendy side. Are you into wax melts, candles, incense, room sprays, or none of the above? I like all of those things but I hardly ever use any of them. Would you like anything from Luvmilk's Monster Mash? I love luvmilk! Products: Bath Salts, Milk Bath, Dusting Powder (no Puff needed), Sugar Scrub Bags are fine for salts/milk bath Scents: Alien Girlfriend Pegasus Lover Old Flames scents: Clown Girlfriend Gumiho Girlfriend Oni Lover Scarecrow Girlfriend I dye yarn. Are you a person who crafts with such? What fiber, weights, and colors would tickle your fancy? Would you rather have two different 100g skeins or enough of the same something for a bigger project? I do use yarn! I like fingering, Sport, DK, Worsted, Aran... If fingering, a skein of 100g or two different skeins of 100g are enough for a project most likely. 200g are probably big enough for the other weights of yarn too, I could make matching mitts and hats or something. Provided my experiments work, would you be interested in a bar of homemade tallow soap? I promise I will not send you anything particularly suspect, so this is entirely contingent upon my competence. Sure! Do homemade caramels or shortbread tickle your fancy? Um, yum. Matcha shortbread! Caramels of all kinds. 9/8 because I’m a knitting kind of witch, would you appreciate a pair of hand knit socks. If yes, would you like them in a particular colour? I don't wear socks often but I would always take hand knitted socks. I usually do stripey but it depends on your yarn stash I guess! I do a lot of black or grey for socks, but purple would be good too! What type of spooky season imagery do you like? (Ie. bats, ghosts, vintage Halloween, etc.) Bats, skulls, corvids, gargoyles/grotesques. Creepy bottles! Nightmare before Christmas stuff. Astrid's Autumn Line and Anniversary Tea Party just dropped. Anything you want? Yes! Usually there is too much fruit or floral in her perfumes but some of these sound like they're my style. Just decants would be perfect. - Darkness Summoned - Rose Gold - Weaving Beneath the October Moon (ok, sometimes I like lavender and pumpkin together) Homemade and preserved food goodies - Which of these things would you like my dear witchie? All are organic and grown or made by me. sun-dried heirloom tomatoes Yes! dried ancho chile peppers - can be whole halves or ground into a delicious powder Sure! sugar-free candied pecans and walnuts or almonds Pecans or Almonds, I don't like walnuts. gourmet quality fudge in many flavors (formerly from my ETSY shop which I had to close until I have my own home again) please give me an idea the kinds of flavors you like. My more popular ones are Penuche, Choc & PB, Pumpkin pie, Forest fruit (with cherries, blueberries and cranberries), Vegan chocolate Penuche (no nuts), Apple Pie, Forest Fruit!! dried italian plums (pitted) Nah, I have lots. sugar-free canned plum or logan berry jam Loganberry jam!! freshly dried rosemary, thyme, basil, parsley individually or in combo Any of the above. almond flour baked goods (low carb, sugar free, and gluten free) - give me examples of savory and sweet things you'd like Butterscotch, matcha shortbread, cardamom/clove, hatch chilis.. Might you like a witch hat? Later this month I'm taking a class at an area museum where I'm supposed to decorate 2 hats. Also I crochet wicked cute witchy hats. I already have one from you! 9/9 Do you see anything here that interests you? They have dry shampoos, whipped soaps, awesome hand cream, linen spray, sugar scrubs and perfume. https://www.etsy.com/shop/faefragrance/?etsrc=sdt I can't tell if they use clean ingredients or not so pass. 9/10 Anything you want from my favorite local tea shop? www.fridaytea.com I like black tea or jasmine tea mostly. I do like chai (with black tea) as well! - Choco Cherry black tea (I don't always like chocolate in my tea, but this sounds interesting! enough to try it - sample?) - Irish Cream black tea - Lapsang Souchong or Russian Caravan (I love my smoky tea) - Pirate King Blend (smoky and irish cream together, win win) - Queen of Hearts (I almost always love me some rose tea.) - Rue the Day (Star Anise and cherry sound like an interesting blend.) - Harvest Spice - Caramel Apple black tea - Masala Chai - Dragon Phoenix Jasmine Pearls - Supreme Jasmine Snowflake The Locked Tomb is one of my fav fandoms; here are the blends I would like to try from it. too bad the sampler is sold out. - II. For the Shield - III. For the Crown - VI. For the Blossom (ok, I'm not usually a fan of Oolong or green, but this came up with a jasmine search so I would try it.) - IV. For Fidelity - IX. For the Tomb (so expensive tho!) How about from my skincare person? drjensbeautylab.com/ Sure! I have really dry skin that manifests by making my sebaceous glands overproduce so I end up with really oily skin. - So I could use a really good moisturizer. - The lavender eucalyptus scrub sounds nice. - Whatever cleanser or serum would be good for my skin -- I get a lot of mild acne because of the over oil production but the oil production would be cured by treating the dry skin, so I don't want products for oily skin, y'know? - The setting powder looks great! - whatever you think I'd like. How about from my witchy Chandler? https://www.etsy.com/shop/TeresaLynnsSimpleLux - A lot of their candles sound nice but I don't burn candles very often. My mom burns candles though, so I could enjoy their scent out in the living room. The Sinus candle looks interesting, and anything that has scent notes I like is fine. Stolen Hoodie, Witching Hour, Uncle Ted's Pipe Tobacco, Self Love, Y'all Gonna Make Me Burn My Sage Up in Here Up in Here, Record Store Nag Champa. (prefer no pumpkin or coffee) - Good Night Moon spray? It's also that time of year where I make handmade soap (usually with calendula infused olive oil, tallow, oatmeal and honey) and candles (feel free to specify color and size, I don't usually scent them, but I do have a clover and apple scent I've been wanting to play with). I can also annoint and dress candles with TALs and herbs. Any interest? Yes to the soap, no to candles (I'm not a fan of unscented except for ritual candles and clover/apple don't sound like my scents.) TAL/herb ritual candles would be good! I also grow herbs which can be culinary or magical. I'd be happy to prepare a smudge or dry some herbs for your enjoyment. I currently have oregano (yellow and standard), mugwort, thyme, sage (purple or garden), tea peppermint, chives, lovage, plantain, comfrey, raspberry leaf, and yarrow. I'm probably forgetting something. Yes to everything except the mugwort, I have tons (from winterblizzard even!) I also make salves! My go to in an arnica, calendula and comfrey mix for healing wounds or chapped skin. This can also be used on pet paws. We do have barely enough time that I could do a custom infusion. Pet paw salve would be nice! 9/11 Anything in the Paintbox Soapworks Halloween update looking good to you? https://paintboxsoapworks.com/new-limited-edition/2023-weenie-collection/ Let me in at Your Window is the only one that doesn't have any scent notes I don't like in it. Sorbetto or Bath Streusel are the products I like. (plus bonus points for Kate Bush / Wuthering Heights.) Also fantasticake, GTFO, Red Right Hand, The Queen is Dead, sample of Cartographer's Wasp (not sure if I would have a skin reaction to the Cassia.) Or in the Karen Rose collection, the Deacon sorbetto. In the benefit collection, pussy hat sorbetto. 9/12 If you have a furry friend living with you, what sort of treats do they like? What treats DON'T they like?? I am a bit picky about food though, and for dogs I try to get all ingredients grown and made in the US or a country with good food laws (not China for sure) and stay away from fillers. No rawhide. They love bully sticks but those cost their weight in gold. If you're in the Seattle area, Mud Bay has great grain free bulk cookies! I usually get the salmon ones. Or the blueberry hearts. 9/13 What is your feelings on seasonal mugs? Yes or, no? Too many in your house or bring them on?? I really have too many normal coffee mugs to have seasonal ones plus I only do huge mugs (20oz preferred but 16/18 is ... ok) and I mostly drink out of covered mugs, so I love ceramic ones with handles and lids or some of the stainless steel travel mugs I have on my beverages amazon wishlist (links to red bubble / society 6.) I always wait for a sale at both Society6 and Red Bubble, and I have a bunch of $5 off codes but I don't know how to give them to a witch without it spoiling surprises. There are usually lots of sales there up to 70% off if sign up for the spammy email alerts (I create alternate accounts for all of my spam lists and birthday reward lists and stuff... yay for free gmail.) Abigail Larson moved from society6 -- Her stuff is on Threadless now. -- but I can't make new links on the amazon wish list since they discontinued the universal wish list, sigh. But I love her Three of Swords and Raven travel mugs. But they are a lot more expensive now then they were on Redbubble/society6. sigh. And I don't know if threadless ever has sales or how that all works or what the quality of their mugs is. I do collect the sbux "been here" and "city mugs" but prefer the demitasse / ornament size if available, the full size if not. (not the to go mugs in those since I don't drink out of them, they just go with my collection, haha!) The "been here" usually comes in a box. Are your wishlists - Amazon, Etsy, etc - up to date, and if so, are they all linked somewhere that I can find them? Yes, they are linked in my SW and Circular Swap help in signature. Do you have anything you use every day that you wouldnt mind getting more of? Epically Epic lip balm for sure. The Turkish Delight is AMAZING. And I have talked to the owner and they are clean ingredients, so good to go. I'd love to try the Marshmallow and Lavender Marshmallow (as well as like 100 more Turkish Delights, hee hee.) Otherwise I use dog cookies every day (multiple times, they are very spoiled and will constantly do tricks or bring me things to exchange for cookies.) I can always use more leashes so I can start keeping some in my car and some outside by the pig area for when I need emergency restraint for a dog (to walk them to the pasture with me or outside of the fence.) Anything you love or need to have from Adagio or Rishi teas? I don't do Adagio (HORRIBLE OWNER, google for horror stories from employees.) I really am actually almost full on tea since my bff sent me a HUGE PACK for my birthday this week. Although I always love more from Mariage Freres, Bird & Blend, or my wish list, haha! I am such a tea hoarder! I just ordered another case of Breathe Easy (Traditional Medicinals) since my lungs feel like crap after all of the fires and I ran out, so I'm good there. List here things you wish you would've added to your questionnaire Umm I can't think of anything. I could use a new phone tough case but again with the spendy unless you get a huge sale. (I have a bunch on my red bubble wish list which is in my SW - Circular Swap Help linked in my signature.) The iPhone SE (2020)/8 - Tough is the right one. 9/14 Nocturne Alchemy just dropped their Halloween update! You like the looks of anything? https://nocturnealchemy.com/collections/limited-collection I think I have it narrowed down to two. I will probably order them myself. Is there anything you would like from the Weenie update? tbd How do you feel about stickers? If positively, are there any themes you'd rather not have stickers of? I really have too many stickers but I also wouldn't say no to all of the ones on my red bubble wish list, so .... I might need more water bottles to put stickers on or something. My current stainless bottle is getting pretty full of stickers and I don't like to overlap them. What about crystals, cool rocks, and gemstones? Obviously you are not my witch because I have lots of those things (I think?) on my wishlists (amazon and etsy.) Gimme!! 9/15 How do you feel about Squishmallows and Squishables? (They have mini and micro sizes for those who like cute plushies but don't have a lot of space.) I have mini cthulhu and the wolf with the moon (mini Hati II.) I got my son the mini plague doctor. I'd love any bats or gargoyles! Also unicorns! And baphomet! And yeah, there are lots I like. ooh there is a new baby cthulhu... but baphomet, gargoyle, happy bat, or honduran white bat would be my first choices of things in stock. Would you wear enamel pins with chains that are meant to be put on lapels? (Something like this.) probably not if they are connected with chains, I rarely wear shirts with collars. Speaking of enamel pins... The Pickety Witch's Autumn and Halloween collection just dropped. Has anything caught your eye? Lil bat, but sold out. I have more on my Etsy wishlist (from Pickety witch's Etsy shop) under jewelry and pins. I used to make mobiles out of paper cranes, would you appreciate something like this? if so, what size restrictions do you have, if any? ie., should it take up less space vertically or horizontally? color palette preference? No thank you, I make my own cranes! 9/16 ordering bulbs from https://oldhousegardens.com and was wondering if my witchee would like some. any of the snowdrops!!!! S. Arnott mentions strong scent and good cut flowers, so maybe that one. Would you like something like "sock arms" if I find time to craft? (Sometimes I make a pattern called Toast or Toasty {one has a thumb the other is just a tube} http://www.afriendtoknitwith.com/2008/09/toasttoasty.html. here are other photos from my blog: https://www.elkaknits.com/?p=845 ) -- If so what sort of colors? My son likes sock arms or really long fingerless mitts. Soft non scratchy (but not acrylic), his favs are green and blue. (He is 30 something, so adult size.) Witchee, what's your take on seasonal-themed Washi tape? I have a LOT of seasonal Washi tape actually, but I welcome all Halloween-y tape, especially bats. Also unicorns. And scratch and sniff tape. And whatever is cool. I have enough valentine's day, fourth of july, easter, Yule, etc. to last for years. What about seasonal treats from Trader Joe's? I go there a lot, so I'm good. I make gluten-free biscotti this time of year, lemon and also cocoa varieties: does this sound good to you? I love biscotti! Chocolate, chocolate almond, almond, gingerbread... Would you like me to make a music mix for you? I kick it old school with a burned CD. If you're into this, name at least 3 to 5 genres of music you already love, or are interested to explore more of! I do listen to CDs in my car, so if you want to make some, go for it. I mostly listen to dark wave / 80's pop these days and I still have a lot of industrial music CDs but they don't get a lot of use. My current favorite album is the new one from Tears for Fears. Right now in my car I have New Order, Moev, TFF, Depeche Mode's new album, Howard Jones, Ned's Atomic Dustbin, Oingo Boingo, some mix CD's from violetchaos, and ... I don't remember what else. 9/17 Anything here you like? https://bserway.com/ i have a lot of his artwork. Too much, I don't have frames for all of it!! I still have a bunch on my Etsy wishlist though, under artwork. The ones that are not on Etsy that I like and don't have are: Cauldron's Bottom https://bserway.com/products/cauldron-s-bottom Gsleslicr https://bserway.com/products/copy-of-blackwood-anthropophagy Sleepy hollow https://bserway.com/products/copy-of-among-sheep-1 i think these ones are on Etsy: Remember Me as a time of Night https://bserway.com/products/remember-me-as-a-time-of-night Waning neonate https://bserway.com/products/waning-neonate the crone's seer https://bserway.com/products/the-crone-s-seer Old dreams waiting to be realized https://bserway.com/products/dreams-waiting-to-be-realized also I like the cars, postcards, stickers. It looks like the mystery pack is still in stock although most of the rest are sold out. (I have no nightmares, memento mori, duskmother, foxtales, featherweight, the fox & the crow, I might have mirror ov uncloaking???, nightbringer, Jersey devil, sleipnir, and more that aren't listed on Etsy or his website right now.) so, yeah, I could use a ton of black frames with pure white mats, matted for 8x10, with glass. also if you wanted to get me a print, I really really really someday want "lala dog", "waiting", and "chosen" from zepplinmoon (on Etsy artwork wishlist.) Anything you'd like from my Ren Fest? There is an outstanding garlic based shop I'll be going to next weekend, for my annual stock up of their spice blends & garlic oil blends. Any other Renny stuff that you like? I love garlic! I love ceramics with crows, friesians, gargoyles, pibbles, Celtic knot work, ferrets... I love the huge ren faire blankets with any of the same. Henna kits could be fun if they have good stencils. Cool hand made brooms are probably too spendy and hard to send, lol. I adore faires and markets and love all the things. know we are looking at a lot of candles, but if you are into looking at more (and it is ok to say you are not), do any of these strike your fancy? https://www.lakewoodwax.com/candlesforacause (Feel free to take a look at their current and signature scents too but I wanted to highlight these fundraiser scents first!) I can't tell if they use clean products and scents or not, so pass. 8/19 f you are a person who appreciates tarot and oracle decks, do you have a strong preference about receiving new ones vs gently/barely used? I do not! I am getting a bit overloaded with tarot and oracle decks tho. I removed some from my etsy and amazon wish lists I think. I am ok with most things gently used. Are you a Studio Ghibli fan, and if so, what are your feelings about fan made art featuring characters? No thank you! I am not that much of a Ghibli fan. Want anything from LUSH? Here's the link specifically to their Halloween drop (https://www.lush.com/us/en_us/c/halloween) BUT, feel free to peruse all of it. Um, yes. But you have to check their ingredients carefully to make sure no SLS or parabens because they use both. Some of their tooth things have saccharin (shudder.) I use the Plaque Sabbath which has xylitol and I'd prefer it was stevia sweetened instead, but sigh. Also I would like to say that I hate LUSH new website. Shopping by tag is not my jam, and stuff will pull up and then disappear (like the Unicorn lip scrub) so I don't know if they just don't have it anymore or what. Our only local LUSH is downtown where there is no unpaid parking, so I don't go very often. Like less than once a year. So samples of stuff is always appreciated, I know their prices are high. Scents: I love most things from LUSH (smell wise) so I am not sure you could go wrong. My fav smells from there are Silky Underwear, Snowcake, Twilight / Sleepy, Butterball, Rose Jam, Lord of Misrule, Candy Fluff/Snow Fairy, Lust, Flying Fox, Blue Skies and Fluffy White Clouds. (yes, some of these are long discontinued.) Products: No: * Their solid perfume does not work on me * I don't especially love the lip scrubs, as an FYI, except for Unicorn. * The wash cards have SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulfate.) * Most of the Body Scrubs have SLS. (Ocean Salt self preserving is ok, I love samples.) * Most of the shower gels have SLS. * Most of the solid and liquid shampoos have SLS. (The cream shampoo I checked did not.) * Most of the bubble bars have SLS. * Some of the facial oils have parabens. * Most of the bath bombs have SLS. * Most of the creamy moisturisers have parabens. Yes: * Melts look like they would be ok! (bath melts - at least the Sleepy one is, it's the only one I looked at.) * Dream Cream (self preserving) is what I am out of and use the most but it's super spendy so I try to get it during the Yule sale and I have enough Sleepy cream to last me until then. - I THINK most body creams are safe, I just have to check each one. I only use Dream Cream on my hands. Rose Argan body conditioner looks interesting (I love samples!) * Soap (omg, Lord of Misrule soap! I'd love some Demon in the Dark, I used to get that all the time before it was discontinued. The Dia de Muertos soap (Cempasúchil) looks fun - I would like to sniff it but they probably don't samples of LE stuff?) I would totally also take Rose Argan soap (sample?) * Angels on Bare Skin * Movis facial soap looks interesting, would love a sample - I think most facial soaps and cleansing balms (like Sleepy Face) are ok, but double check. (I love samples) * Skin Drink self preserving moisturiser is ok. Peace is ok, (I love samples!) * Rose Lollipop lip balm looks interesting (they can probably do a sample, they gave me samples of solid perfumes so ...) * Full of Grace solid facial serum / moisturizer looks interesting (I love samples!) 9/20 Part 2 of the Autumnal/Halloween drop from Haus of Gloi is coming this weekend- take a look and see if anything is compelling! https://www.hausofgloi.com/blogs/haus-herald/fall-part-2 I would try a scrub or exfoliant in Violet Moon for sure. Yay butterbombs! But none of those scents sound good to me. Nag Champa yes, but leaves? no. Also, I live in Philly and will use ANY reason to spend time at the Mütter Museum- anything of interest (including, but not limited to, the well-loved BPAL exclusive for the museum, Ü?) https://www.muttermuseumstore.org I don't know. A magnet? A lens cloth? Plague Doctor pin? Spit Means Death button? If you are so inclined, do you want or need any natural items or ingredients for spellwork that could be collected from forests, ocean, fields or stream? I also have access to oak gall ink and various other esoteric substances. Wow, that sounds great!! All of the above. You'd have to tell me what kind of pen to use with the ink though. Are you a fan of the show Cobra Kai? Negatory. Do you enjoy any of the scented items from Victoria's Secret? Hard pass. Would you be interested in receiving a silver locket with papyrus and herbs inside, as a protective amulet? Heck yeah! 9/21 So Witchee mine, are you a spellworker? - any interest in acorns? I am a lazy spellworker but I would LOVE to have a bunch of acorns. maybe 3 or 5 or however many. I need to remember to go look for the teeny tiny acorns that are in a parking lot at the "old" costco location (I don't think anything else has moved into that building yet, but it has lots of oaks around the perimeter of the parking lot.) Witchee, do you like anything from Lenny Mud? ok, so I have had the "A Woman's Place is in the Resistance" mug on my wish list forever but never buy it for myself and it hasn't ever been one of the deeply discounted sale items, but they are spendy so I don't expect anyone to get me one (or anything on my wish list really, but my lists should give you an idea of the things I like? I love hand made / home made and local things too!) I might get a bunch of their stickers when I get mom a bigfoot mug. and I might get the night circus travel mug and the ruth bader ginsberg mug because sale. 9/22 From previous questions you've answered, I know a lot about the teas you'd like from specific places, but I want to know your more general tea preferences. Black, green, white, rooibos, oolong, herbal? Pretty sure you are not my witch then because my Circular Swap help is pretty detailed about the kind of tea I like. As in, I like black and flavored black, matcha, SOMETIMES green, jasmine, meh on white, only certain herbals (I LOATHE camomile), ixnay on the rooibos and honeybush and puereh and mate, meh on the oolong. - Japan is particularly big on their green tea and hojicha (roasted green tea), any interest? ok, I have never tried hojicha and I would love to try some. I saw that SBUX has matcha and hojicha via (dried in little "stick" pouches) and I love matcha in sticks like that (especially flavored) so I would totally try some. I get the "acceptable" blends of matcha for baking, haven't tried the ceremonial. I could use a matcha whisk and bowl for "real" matcha that isn't in the little sticks and formulated to dissolve easily in a bottle of water. - My partner has given me an extraordinary amount of rooibos from South Africa. It's amazing and I'd like to share, so would you like some? Sorry, no, I really do not like rooibos. However, my MOM might like it? She drinks non caffeine tea and has liked flavored rooibos at least. despite being uk based I’m probably gonna have to make a torrid order because I fell in. 12. twilighteyes

    Baku

I have gone through maybe two bottles of Baku? Just purchased a new bottle and still lavender. Maybe a hint of anise. I stick a reducer cap on and sprinkle on my pillow at night.
  13. twilighteyes

    Unwind

On sniffing in bottle I get mostly what I assume is the helichrysum with a hint of ylang on the exhale. I can not detect the geranium. I bought it for the ylang and geranium, sad face. Not a lot of throw on me and doesn't stick around.
  14. twilighteyes

    Recovery Room

When I sniff this in the bottle, it's mostly lavender to me. I was hoping for more patch and ylang ylang. It is a VERY nice lavender with a hint of ylang. Doesn't last on my skin though -- this will be a "apply directly to pillow" or scent locket type for me.
  15. twilighteyes

    Unclench

I haven't tried this one yet, but it smells delightful in the bottle - heavy on the mint with a hint of eucalyptus.
