Rolling with my Gnomies

Updated 2/12/23   Would you like to receive Girl Scout cookies and if so, what kind is your favorite? Sure! My youngest left scouts this year and I haven't ordered any yet. We like Thin Mints, Samoas/Caramel Delites, the new Adventurefuls, Smores and I really want to try the new raspberry ones.   Would you like a Gnome amigurumi?  (smol knitted or crocheted gnome)  Yes please! -- if so, What gnome colors appeal to you?  (three-four colors please) jewel tones, black, gray -- do any of these patterns appeal to you (I pretty much have all of them including the ones for humans but I'm not going to make a colorwork sweater for you, sorry.  I *might* make a hat or mitts if you like grey, blue, and red as shown because I already have that yarn.) I really like the long floppy hat one - Here we gnome again.   How about Gnome tea towel(s)? Sure!   Would you like a cross stitched gnome picture / ornament? Sure.    What's your favorite way to experience Nature?  A hike in the woods, a day lounging on the beach, only as screen savers on your computer? Wandering in the woods behind my house, kayaking, definitely love beaches and exploring bodies of water, tide pools, etc. When I think "nature" I think trees and water.   what kinds of safety and environmental concerns need to be considered for your gnome so they can safely reside at your home? will they live outdoors so they need to be weatherproof (for what kind of weather)? will they be indoors and need to be pet or child-safe? do they need to be very tiny or capable of hanging on a wall?  I am ready and willing to provide a suitable habitat for an outdoor gnome, but would also happily provide an indoor home. Sadly, I do not have a lot of wall space for a hanging gnome.   How do you feel about zombie or other horror gnomes? I'm really not into zombies, but would not be opposed to a creepy gnome.   Do you need any seeds? If so what varieties might you be interested in? Flowers, veg, herbs.. ? I have a black thumb, so please, no seeds or live plants.    Would you like feathers from my Peacock, Gary (short for Gyrados)? Sure!   if BPAL is one of your treasures, which BPAL would you like the mostest?  (Maybe one that is available right now from BPAL and one Limited Edition/Discontinued?) My wishlist is actually updated for once. I'll try to think of specifics.   If you are a tea drinker, which (if any) of these teas tickle your fancy? Parisian Breakfast and Vanilla Black and Nutcracker all look good.   would you like a tiny hand drawn gnome picture? Sure.   Is homemade vanilla something you might like?  I have a "Mother Jar" that I can decant from.  These beans have been steeping for 2 years in a very nice bourbon. OMG YES!!!!!   Are there any colors you would prefer your gnome not to have? I'm not really into orange/yellow/brown or pastels.   If the creativity bites, would you possibly like a small embroidered gnome? Could be an ornament? Any gender preference or details you might like added (small mushroom, bee, heart or egg...)? I can't think of anything specific.    Would you be interested in a small copper nature totem that could nestle in your garden or amongst your plants? I can do some chasing to create a mushroom or a leaf or a special bug fren... That sounds lovely. Our yard is kind of vaguely controlled chaos, but we have a lot of neat sculptural things hidden about. I would particularly be interested in a bug fren.   Would you be interested in a decorative pillow or zippered pouch featuring a gnomely figure?  like this?  or a little coin purse? or please tell me to make this because oh my gods... Yes! The first or the last for sure. The coin purse not so much.    I have an angora rabbit and she's currently molting. Would you like rabbit fur for spinning, felting, or other crafty uses? This sounds lovely, but I don't really have a use for it.    Do you need any spices? There's nothing I specifically need, but I'm always interested in trying new spice blends. I could use some new curry blends specifically.    How would you feel about gnome-inspired clothing? I would feel good about it.   would you be interested in any horror movie merch? If so, do you have a favorite horror movie / character? Not really my thing. (although a scary gnome could be fun)   Haus of Gloi launched their Valentine goodies today. I definitely would get no use out of seeds. I might be able to keep an air plant or a succulent alive, but it's iffy.   Shortbread? This is my question, but yes, I would love to your version in floral or fruit flavors.      Any candles you might like? OH MY GOSH, IT HAS A BIRD NEST, YES PLEASE THIS IS FREAKING ADORABLE.  I have several bird nests made in different techniques on my living room bookcase.  Perhaps swap out the pink for any form of blue or purple?   I have an angora rabbit and she's currently molting. Would you like rabbit fur for spinning, felting, or other crafty uses?  Ooh that would be lovely.  In the spring when I can work outside, I’ll be back continuing to perfect my nuno felting skills.  It would be fun to see how bunny fur works.   Do you need any spices? Technically yes, but it’s the basic cinnamon I’m out of, so that will be resolved shortly.  This said, if you have or make some regional blend, I’d love to try it.  Especially if it plays well with tofu & comes with your favorite recipe.   Gnome wearables?  Would love a pair of socks, especially if there are mushrooms/toadstools.   Haus of Gloi Valentine goodies -   My favorite products of theirs are the bubble scrub & the pumpkin seed lotion.  Of the valentine scents I like the sound of Epicurean, Superfreak, or Come Hither.  The Blackcurrant & champagne butterball sounds like a nice soak with an audio book & some sparkling wine (okay cheap prosecco)   Moonalisa Feb drop - If someone were shopping on my behalf, I find myself craving lavenders & vanillas of late.  Lavender Fields, Lavender Shortbread Lavender Love.  From the vanillas Salome's Secret, maybe Amber Vanilla.     Nocturne Alchemy Valentine drop have loads of musk, but these sound nice to try: Crystalline #2 Encens Vanille Posiedens Vanilla Cheesecake Be my valentine '23       What is your favorite animal?  Otters, Cats of all sizes/species, Owls, Ravens, bats   Is there anything you would love from San Diego?  Not a clue.

I can do some chasing to create a mushroom or a leaf or a special bug fren... that sounds lovely   ***Unrelated to any questions but also wasn't really in my questionnaire anywhere*** I LOOOOOOOVE incense.  Currently I'm really into STICK style incense (I have enough wax tarts for a while) I could also use a stick incense burner as I don't have any and just sort of use whatever to hold the sticks... currently, Im using an old roll of duct tape in one room and a b0ng that I got as a wrap gift on a stoner comedy I worked on in another (the b0ng actually is kind of genius and works better than I expected) and in the living room I just stick it in the dirt for one of my houseplants

I live in Seattle area so it rains quite a lot so any gnomes meant for outdoors need to be weatherproof. I like tiny/small gnomes and gnomes than can hang on a wall   How do you feel about zombie or other horror gnomes? No zombie or horror gnomes for me please. As much as I love horror I prefer my gnomes to be more earthy, wintery, autumnal, or rainbow   Do you need any seeds? If so what varieties might you be interested in? Flowers, veg, herbs.. ?

- I do love the beach, but I have to say I love hiking/walking around in the woods a bit more. Its yummy!      No, thank you   If I can find the recipe, I want to make my grandmas Orange Slice Cake. Its a super yummy cake but a bit difficult to make as far as cutting up all the oranges. Any of those sound good? OR homemade chocolate fudge? I can do peppermint, coffee or orange additions, with or without nuts. If this interests you, include ring size! These ARE super cute but I don't wear rings (not even my wedding ring, lol).    What size do you typically wear in sweaters/sweatshirts? 
I'm really hourglass-y and this varies SO MUCH according to brand, cut, and material so I'm really hard to buy for. I have sweaters and sweatshirts in my closet in sizes from L to 2X. I've got a 48" chest and a 38" waist. If this is for pajamas/wearing around the house/general coziness I'd say go for a 2X. If this is meant to be fitted or worn in public I'm probably not the right recipient, thanks. ?   Several questionnaires mention joy in receiving homemade baked goods. What are your favorite holiday baked goods? Cookies, Cakes, Fudge? Other?  Cake is my least favorite. I love cookies, though I don't really eat sugar cookies (my husband will though, happily, if that's your specialty!). Fudge is always beloved in our house.   Are you into peanut butter cookies? If yes, would you enjoy them with creamy or crunchy PB? I cannot express how much I love peanut butter. All the peanut butter. Peanut butter is one of my favorite foods. Generally I'm a crunchy PB gal (the crunchier the better) but for cookies it doesn't matter.    I am thinking of making flavored sugar. What are flavors you would NOT enjoy out the following:  I would enjoy all of those flavors! I do make my own vanilla sugar so that would probably be better in a mixed flavor sugar, but I definitely wouldn't say no to it even on its own.    Would you like anything from Witch Baby Soap? I'm a medium to light roast coffee drinker and do not drink dark roast (super taster, it's way too bitter). But my husband drinks dark roast, so regardless anything will be drunk!    House of Gloi Yule update: Rosy Cheeked is one of my favorite scents of ANYTHING in the whole world and I always use it up immediately when I get it, so straight up anything in that.    Teeturtle: No t-shirts please. I like the plushies though! I leave for a ten-day trip to Paris and London in one week's time and I'd love to bring back a goody or two if my Naughty/Nice Puss has any requests! Paris:  Mariage Frères or Damman Frères tea, always.  I have a huge list on my amazon beverages universal wishlist from their websites.  I love black tea the most; smoky, lavender, rose, vanilla, butterscotch, anise, chai, cinnamon.  Lately I've been liking fruit teas as well.  (I'm not a super huge fan of bergamot / earl grey type teas although I will drink them occasionally; they're just not my fav.)    Any kind of cool soap, perfume, body products, candles, matchbooks (do places still even do matchbooks?), lavender, fancy chocolates/caramels/chocolate covered seafoam.  (I have a list of the kind of truffles and chocolate I favor on my snacks amazon list.)  OH!  I'd love some blackcurrant, rose, anise, violet and maybe orange blossom pastilles from France -- the Abbaye de Flavigny.  And there are all kinds of little candies and interesting treats from Europe that I would be interested in, just for fun.   And Outremer (formerly L'Aromarine) eau de toilette sprays!  Especially Vanilla and Cola.  And maybe Rose and/or Lavender if you can smell it and make sure it's a good one.  (just small bottles are fine!!)   London:   Again with any kind of fancy tea.  I love Bird & Blend!  (again, I have a huge list from their website on my amazon beverages universal wishlist.)   I don't think Future Primitive has a brick & mortar but I'd love their Ghost Smoke and/or Campfire Marshmallow whipped soap or body cream.  fancy chocolates/caramels/chocolate covered seafoam.  (I have a list of the kind of truffles and chocolate I favor on my snacks amazon list.)  Bonfire toffee!   Clotted cream fudge!  (or some kind of delicious clotted cream in a jar?)   Anything Red Dwarf.     and of course if you find good Krampus or Christmas Market type stuff (probably too early), I'm down!!   Marzipan??  
are you interested in an advent calendar?  What kind?  (Dog cookie, tea, chocolate, etc.) I love advent calendars, I am a weirdo!  I love the ones for dogs - maybe Trader Joes will have theirs out soon!, snobby tea like from bird & blend (too spendy for this swap I'm sure), Divine chocolate, Lindt chocolate.     Officially asking for your krampus preference, naughty children!  I do prefer cuter Krampus and Krampuss.  And Vintage Krampus.   I hand-make light-weight hair falls, the kind that is NOT meant to look real, but more like doll (or Dolly) hair. I use stuff like recycled silk, ribbon yarn and the like to keep them extremely light-weight and pretty. Is this something you would like? If so, tell me your color preferences (the more options, the better!) plus any allergies I should know about (wool, alpaca, silk etc), and length. Someday!  When I am able to go places again!   Would you like a super ugly "Christmas" sweater with krampus all over it??   I do have some "ugly christmas" sweatshirts on my wishlist but mostly just black and red.  Not super ugly please.    My favorite one I have right now is a Robert Smith "ugly christmas" sweatshirt.     Is there anything you particularly have your fingers crossed for on your wishlist? I have a Krampus wishlist on etsy, a Krampus wishlist on Amazon, etc. for your browsing amusement.   I'd really kind of like one of the self inking rubber stamps to motivate myself to send out holiday cards!   I adore the Krampuss from Clockwork Art and the Mocking Krampus from Ryta's Art (both on etsy wishlist.)   I've tried the Coalition tea and it's good, wouldn't say no to more than a sample.  But you don't have to get things from my wishlist -- they're just to show you the kind of things I like.  If you see other things you'd think I'd like, I'm all for it!!   (I like crocheted amigurumi and knitted mitts/shawlettes/really long double cowls.)        are you hoping for more perfumes or more non-smelly goodies?
