Thanks!
I already ordered bottles and decants, so I don't really have to narrow anything down this time. Just some thoughts and predictions while I wait...
All of Their Heads Fell Off Perfume Oil
Oozing cactus flesh, creosote, dusty boards, and gruesome globs of blood musk.
Will the cactus be planty? For some reason "oozing cactus flesh" sounds kind of fruity. Anyway, I ordered a decant. Nothing here sounds bad to me and it could be great.
Bonfire Toffee Perfume Oil
Our spin on a traditional Guy Fawkes Night treat: treacle toffee soaked in rich, dark bourbon.
This sounds way too sweet and I skipped it, although I do like booze scents.
Dia de los Muertos Perfume Oil
This is a Mexican paean to La Huesuda: dry, crackling leaves, the incense smoke of altars honoring Death and the Dead, funeral bouquets, the candies, chocolates, foods and tobacco of the ofrenda, amaranth, sweet cactus blossom and desert cereus.
Decant ordered - I might have smelled this once before but I've never owned it, and I'm excited to try it again!
Hand-Knitted Witch Gloves Perfume Oil
Wooly and witchy, fuzzy and scuzzy, long green fingers tipped with ruby-red nails: raw wool, sweet oakmoss, and cranberry brandy.
I ordered a bottle, the combination sounded too weird to pass up!
Is He, You Know Perfume Oil
Sweet 13-year aged patchouli, peru balsam, white oakmoss, French lavender, spikenard, bourbon vanilla, and sugar cane.
I don't see anything not to like here, so I took a chance and got a bottle.
October Perfume Oil
Dry, cold autumn wind. A rustle of red leaves, a touch of smoke and sap in the air.
Decant ordered - I love my old bottle, and wanted to compare old with new.
Pumpkin Latte Perfume Oil
Espresso, pumpkin syrup, smoky vanilla bean, milk, raw sugar, and a dash of cinnamon and nutmeg.
Sounds a little too sweet for me. I like sweet scents sometimes, but I'm picky about them.
Pumpkin Spice Everything Perfume Oil
Literally everything. Pumpkin spice it all. A rich blend of traditional spices: cinnamon, cardamom, allspice, and clove.
Never have tried this. I feel like Plunder is the only spice scent I really need, although I would try this for sure if I crossed paths with it.
Pumpkin Trash Bag Perfume Oil
A crinkly, crunchy, cartoony jack-o-lantern scent, stuffed full of leaves and eager to please: orange blossom, blood orange, and orange hard candy with pumpkin pulp and smushed leaves.
Bottled - sounds too fun to pass up and can't really imagine it disappointing in any way.
Samhain Perfume Oil
Truly the scent of autumn itself — damp woods, fir needle, and black patchouli with the gentlest touches of warm pumpkin, clove, nutmeg, allspice, sweet red apple and mullein.
I have a few different vintages, in bottle or decant form, and decided to get a decant this year. I never get tired of this scent!
Sugar Skull Perfume Oil
Vibrant with the joy and sweetness of life in death! A blend of five sugars, lightly dusted with candied fruits.
See Samhain above - same with this!
Things are Fine Perfume Oil
The blissful contentment of committing to exist in the moment: white sandalwood smoke, hinoki, white tea, and falling leaves.
I went for a decant, it sounds great but white sandalwood went out of control in another scent recently (on my skin)... I think it was The Queen and The Page?
Vintage Frankenstein Blow Mold Perfume Oil
A shell of milky plastic surrounding a puff of mint chocolate chip-scented air, illuminated from within by 40 watts of glowing amber.
No chocolate chips for me thanks! Well, not in perfume form.
Vintage Ghost Blow Mold Perfume Oil
Milky-white plastic and a hollow gasp of candy-corn breath, illuminated from within by 40 watts of glowing amber.
I'd try this if I crossed paths with it, but decided to skip it for now. The 40 watts part kind of worried me, sounds kind of ozoney?
Dusk in Autumn
A Little Silver Scimitar Perfume Oil
Foamy orris and ambergris accord pierced by a sliver of white fir needle, moonflower, and cypress.
I can pass on this for now, sounds like it would be soapy on my skin.
A Timid Twinkling Golden Star Perfume Oil
Tuberose and sweet amber.
This sounds lovely but I'm not too certain about bpal's tuberose note. I ordered a decant, we'll see.
The Witches Have a Fire Again Perfume Oil
Smoldering spiced oak boughs and pine pitch crackling with golden sap.
Decant! I like oak, I just hope the pine pitch doesn't do anything weird on me.
Witches’ Currant Cake Perfume Oil
Red currant and rosewater gooseberry cake with a sugar-dusted gingerbread crumble topping.
I almost blind bottled this one too, but went for a decant instead. This kind of scent can be unpredictable on me but it does sound lovely.
Witches’ Tea Perfume Oil
Blackberry thorn tea.
I ordered a bottle. I have been enjoying the lab's blackberry scents, and this sounded great.
Halloween Atmosphere and Linen Sprays 2023
Passed on all of these - already have enough home scents
Fig, Autumn Amber, and Tobacco Atmosphere & Linen Spray
October Bonfire Atmosphere & Linen Spray
Burning leaves and smoldering applewood.
Pumpkin Incense Atmosphere & Linen Spray
A caramelized pumpkin kyphi.
Halloween Bath Oil 2023
Hard Candy Bath Oil
Release your cares into a warm, soothing bath of liquefied hard candies.
Passed on this, the scent didn't sound that exciting to me.
Halloween Hair Gloss 2023
Passed on these because I have tons of hg already
Autumn Fougere Hair Gloss
A campfire cologne with a cluster of musk-sweet leaves and a hint of leather.
Maple Leaves, Golden Moss, and Amber Hair Gloss
Palo Santo and Patchouli Hair Gloss
Pumpkin Buttercream Hair Gloss
Pumpkin puree whipped into thick folds of buttercream.
Samhain Hair Gloss
Truly the scent of autumn itself — damp woods, fir needle, and black patchouli with the gentlest touches of warm pumpkin, clove, nutmeg, allspice, sweet red apple and mullein.
Heloise & Abelard’s Spooky Duets
Belladonna Berries and Mandrake Root Perfume Oil
Pass for now..it sounds a little like Screaming Mandragora (if I got the name right?) which I already have, even though it's just an imp.
Congealed Blood and Oozing Viscera Perfume Oil
Passed on this, just wasn't calling to me.
Grave Moss and Bone Splinters Perfume Oil
Decant! Sounds like Hessian of the Hollow which I love.
Human Animals
Bringer of Evil Perfume Oil
A foreboding tremble of poppy leaf, cerulean musk, violet grapefruit, mimosa, orris butter, and benzoin.
Pass, not calling out to me.
Elimanzer Perfume Oil
Strangely sinister frumenty: oatmeal, heavy cream, butter, salt, and a whiff of brimstone.
Pass, the oatmeal note didn't sound good to me, also heavy cream and butter could go badly on me.
Elizabeth’s Imps Perfume Oil
A promise in the shadows: black molasses, cinnamon bark, and glowing amber.
Decant! This actually sounds really nice.
Lady of Saintonge Perfume Oil
Perfumed black silk encasing a mangled, blood-spattered talon of white sandalwood, ivory accord, and inky fur.
Pass for now, didn't quite sound like something I would like.
The Corn Spirit Perfume Oil
Rye stalks, corn husks, hay absolute, tilled soil, and German chamomile.
Passed on this too, I like hay and soil, but not the other notes.
The Hound and the Milk-White Doe Perfume Oil
Graceful, regal, elegant, and cursed: golden sandalwood and liquidambar, cardamom, coconut milk, jasmine sambac, white petal rosewater, and labdanum.
I think I passed on this too - sounds too strong for some reason.
Witch-Birds Perfume Oil
Blinding-white mallow and vanilla sandalwood streaked with indigo opium pod accord, velvet black violet petals, wild plum, and opoponax.
Bottle ordered! Sounds interesting, took a chance.
Monster Milk
Ghost Milk Perfume Oil
Goat’s milk, marshmallow, vanilla cashmere, honey dust, and white chocolate.
Pass on honey dust.
Invisible Man Milk Perfume Oil
Sheer musk and an exhale of evaporated milk.
Pass, for now.
Mummy Milk Perfume Oil
Condensed milk wrapped in coconut shavings and tea-stained linen with a hint of bitumen, myrrh, and embalming resins.
Decant - this is the only Milk one I was somewhat interested in, I think myrrh sounds nice in this combination.
Vampire Milk Perfume Oil
A creamy coagulation of clove bud and goat’s milk.
Pass, clove can misbehave on me.
Witch Milk Perfume Oil
Honey-infused goat milk, incense smoke, yew boughs, black pepper, mandrake root, ambrette seed, red currant, kitchen herbs, and fly agaric accord.
Pass, the combination didn't grab me.
Wolf Milk Perfume Oil
Crunchy leaves, well-worn black leather, cardamom pod, moonlit yellow bergamot, woodmoss, molasses, and buttermilk.
Pass, although now looking again, might be interesting? I'll watch reviews.
Zombie Milk Perfume Oil
Grave-dry rice milk, black moss, hemp fibers, bone-white sandalwood and orris root, and bog osmanthus.
Pass, didn't grab me.
Nightmare Novellas
A Boy and His Zombie Perfume Oil
Zombie-green lime hard candies with a glob of marshmallow white matter and a splat of cherry viscera.
Passed on this
A Melancholy of Goths Perfume Oil
Clove smoke, champaca incense, plum velvet, and hairspray.
Sounds ok except for clove and hairspray - two notes that could misbehave
An Autumn Stroll for a Pumpkin Man Perfume Oil
Russet dried maple leaves crunching around a jack o’lantern splashed with bay rum, curling with cigar smoke.
Could not resist a decant. Nothing sounds bad here, except it could be too strong and/or aftershavey.
Butterscotch and Gummy Candy Witch Perfume Oil
Butterscotch brittle, burnt coffee beans, and sour apple gummies.
3 notes I don't really care about in perfume!
Don’t Play Fetch with a Teenage Werewolf Perfume Oil
Honey biscuits, warm auburn fur, and a squished chocolate nougat bar.
Another 3 notes I don't really care for!
Halfway to Halloween Perfume Oil
Sweet fig and golden almond with buttery amber and a flutter of autumn leaves.
This sounded great and I took a chance on a bottle.
Halloween Cat Perfume Oil
Cacao and coconut husk dusted on shining black fur, illuminated by electric green mandarin and raw amber.
The combination didn't sound like something I would like.
Headless Perfume Oil
Black leather and brimstone alight with red peppercorn and blood amber.
Kind of tempting but pass mostly because of the peppercorn, it can misbehave sometimes.
It Jittered Out of the Woods Perfume Oil
Corn husks and freshly uprooted gourds in a rustle of twigs, dead oak leaves, and a faint whiff of myrrh.
Passed, not calling me for some reason, although it doesn't sound too bad now..
Make a Face Perfume Oil
A surrealist swirl of ethereal yellow bergamot, white pomegranate rind, lemon peel, and white musk.
Thought about it but ended up passing altogether. I think I already have something with lemon peel and white musk, and I think it was too loud and perfumey.
Man With a Haunted House for a Head Perfume Oil
Creaking oak floorboards coated in dust. A trembling sandalwood spiderweb writhes with long-buried memories.
I passed but now I'm more curious... What could this smell like?
Slumber Ghoul Perfume Oil
Sleepy lavender bud, the memory of warm milk, a splinter of bone dust, and a clawful of upturned grave loam.
Decant - I love lavender plus earth/soil notes.
The Harvest Haunt Perfume Oil
A thick, viscous blackened pumpkin incense.
Ordered a bottle! Was too intrigued to pass it up, but it's a risk. Could be really strong and go off the rails on my skin.
Wayfaring Stranger Perfume Oil
An offering of footstep dust and rusted keys, raw tobacco and whiskey, coconut shells and candle wax.
Pass for now, kind of hit-and-miss notes for me.
Witch in the Woods Perfume Oil
A tangle of blackthorn, mandrake root, and myrrh scratching through cypress boughs, blackberry resin, and incense smoke.
I think I'most excited to try this, it just sounds so very Halloweenie!
Pumpkin Patch Happy Hour
Pumpkin Spice Absinthe Perfume Oil
A recurring fave at the BPAL cantina. No, you’re not hallucinating: this pairing smells divine!
Pass
Pumpkin Spice Champagne Perfume Oil
The bubbles from this calabaza go straight to your cabeza.
Decant
Pumpkin Spice Cranberry Vodka Perfume Oil
Fun fact: they call this time of year “Fall” because of the difficulty of staying on your barstool after a few of these.
Pass
Pumpkin Spice Dark ‘N’ Stormy Perfume Oil
In a mood? Pour one of these over it: extra spicy rum fizzed up with ginger beer and garnished with a lime wedge.
Pass
Pumpkin Spice Espresso Martini Perfume Oil
A triple shot with extra drizzle to keep you vamping till the sun comes up.
Pass
Pumpkin Spice Hot Buttered Rum Perfume Oil
Time to get cozy next to a crackling fire and let the season enfold you in its spicy, buttery arms.
Pass
Pumpkin Spice Margarita Perfume Oil
You might regret this in the morning, but tonight is all about living in the moment! Served in a salt-rimmed gourd.
Pass
Pumpkin Spice Piña Colada Perfume Oil
You’ll just have to trust the bartender on this one! An extra loco coco to encourage beach goths to attempt some moonlight skinny-dipping.
Decant, this actually sounds really fun. Looking forward to trying it!

I make lightweight hairfalls, the kind that can be attached to a pony tail or to pig tails. They are good for those of us that are more tender-headed. I use a variety of materials like shibori ribbon, and puffy yarns and pieces of lace and silk. You can use them for every day or as part of your Weenie costume. Is this of interest to you? If so tell me what length, what color(s) and if you want one for a pony tail or two for pig tails.
My hair isn't grown out enough yet. Maybe next year.......
During my recent travels I got to experience the incredible delight of Serge Luten perfumers here in Paris (imagine if the Lab and Anna Sui made babies inside a Cadbury Cream Egg decorated with stained glass windows and...you've come close to the experience of being in that shop). It's also that time of year where I make handmade soap (usually with calendula infused olive oil, tallow, oatmeal and honey) and candles (feel free to specify color and size, I don't usually scent them, but I do have a clover and apple scent I've been wanting to play with). I can also annoint and dress candles with TALs and herbs. Any interest?
I also grow herbs which can be culinary or magical. I'd be happy to prepare a smudge or dry some herbs for your enjoyment. I currently have oregano (yellow and standard), mugwort, thyme, sage (purple or garden), tea peppermint, chives, lovage, plantain, comfrey, raspberry leaf, and yarrow. I'm probably forgetting something.
I also make salves! My go to in an arnica, calendula and comfrey mix for healing wounds or chapped skin. This can also be used on pet paws. We do have barely enough time that I could do a custom infusion.

I already have so much hair ? I'd try one for a pony tail
During my recent travels I got to experience the incredible delight of Serge Luten perfumers here in Paris (imagine if the Lab and Anna Sui made babies inside a Cadbury Cream Egg decorated with stained glass windows and...you've come close to the experience of being in that shop). Anyway, after spending gobs of monies, they loaded me up with delectable samples of their insanely expensive wares- do you want some??? sure

What about Halloween-related fandoms? (ie. The Nightmare Before Christmas)
8/27/23
Would you like any of the following? (Maybe just remove the things you aren't interested in?): Anything that doesn't have peaches in it! I probably wouldn't use the mugwort smudge stick but I'm not opposed.
Catnip (organic, from our property. Dried in our dehydrator.)
Canned food items
Thick Huckleberry Syrup (or thin huckleberry jam -- it was kind of a fail for how thick/thin it is, but still tasty. Has sugar.)
Bluebarb jam (blueberry/rhubarb) (has sugar.)
Blackberry, Raspberry, or Strawberry Jam (they have sugar)
Possibly plum jam or butter (we can probably make it without ingredients you can't have - if allergies)
Apple Crips (dried apples with nothing added, not sure what kind of apples we'll do this year. Usually honeycrisp.)
Dried lavender I can do sachets or just some in a mesh baggie. Sadly our lavender is too dry right now to do wands.
Rose petal beads (if I manage to make enough, I'm gathering rose petals right now.) I'll probably put them on a string unless I have time/energy for more.
Rose Petal liqueur sample (has sugar.)
Lavender Vanilla Bean liqueur sample (has sugar.)
Mead sample (flavor depends on what kind of mead my son has made lately. Can make it dry, semi-sweet, or sweet to your preference.)
Would you like me to knit you a hat, shawlette, cowl, or fingerless mitts? No thanks! I have so much and am moving to somewhere much colder so in the process of evaluating my winter clothing stock. ?
How about a soap bag (knitted), washcloths, or tarot card bag? Soap bags, absolutely
Or maybe a gknitted Gnome? Or bat? Ghost? Black Cat? Voodoo doll? Monster? Or something else spooky? I have lots of patterns. Here is an example I did for the Gnome swap. Any of those things obviously!
If you want any knitted things -- color preferences? Not particularly, although I'm not a huge fan of neons or pastels.
My mom has an etsy shop with project bags for knitting/crochet or what ever you want to use them for. We could also make tote type bags, flat zipper cosmetic type bags, or boxy bags/dice bags. Are you interested in this type of item? I have all kinds of spooky fabric that isn't currently up on the shop if you look through the sold items. https://twinklentwilight.etsy.com I think I'm all set for bags right now!
8/28/23

How do you feel about CBD as an ingredient in something? Like a pain relief lotion or lip balm? I'm not opposed but I also find it doesn't do anything for me.
I'm getting into bookbinding! Is there a fanfic/book (I can try to get the text block in paperback and rebind it)/out-of-copyright book that you want hardbound all fancy? I'm fascinated by this idea. I feel like Macbeth would be a good seasonal choice!
8/30/23
Cellar Door's seasonal items are out. Anything you need? Nothing's jumping but I do love candles.
Are you interested in anything from Grounds and Hounds? They give back to rescue dogs and they have more items than just coffee. Hot chocolate, apparel, stickers, mugs, dog toys and blankets, caramels, brewers, etc. Listen I love anything that supports rescue dogs.

are there any particularly spooky reads you are interested in? Favorite horror author's with books you haven't read/don't own yet? Comic books included? I love spooky/gothic haunted house stories. My Goodreads account is up-to-date with everything I've read in the last several years.
I'm going to the MD ren faire this weekend - anything you like from faires? It's a large one with very strictly juried vending so think higher quality goods ‐ teas, soaps, scents, arts, prints, etc. All the stuff honestly.
Favorite medieval or renaissance or fantasy creatures or imagery or legends? Mermaids! Snail cats! Other weird illustrated manuscript stuff.
Hey Swapee, you said you like gummy candy. Have you ever had the real deal Middle Eastern candy that " invented" gummy candy? Made with real fruits & nuts & sooooo good. I have a fabulous Middle Eastern grocery near where I work that has more than 20 flavors.

If so, what kinds of fruits or berries do you like?
Yes! Citrus and all the berries.
9/6/23
Are you a fan of vivziepop/helluvaboss? Anything from their merch store? No thanks!
Also, stickers? I have found lots of smaller local stores (including natural food stores) have been selling good quality stickers. And Halloween sticker packs in various craft stores. Preferred styles or general images (cats/flowers/celestial, etc). I love animal stickers (especially weirder animals) and plants.
Since it is Pumpkin Spice Season (during this swap), what is your Pumpkin Spice oppinion? Or just pumpkin? Or apple anything? Give me all the fall flavors.
How do you feel about taxidermy/bones/pinned bugs? Love but ethically sourced obvs!
9/7
Colourpop's Haunted Mansion collection dropped today.
If you're interested in makeup or skin care, are you interested in anything from Colourpop? I don't really wear much makeup but I'm intrigued by the lip colors Hitch a Ride and Summoned Spirits.
https://colourpop.com/
would you like a scarf? If so, colors, length, iwide or skinny? Bulky yarn or thin and slinky?? I knit, so I’m good on scarves!
How about some dishcloths, for the kitchen? Or spa cloths for the bathroom? If so, which? Any particular colors??
Would you like any of Cat Coven's Halloween goods? It's her original artwork based on medieval art. (It's a limited edition of everything, so hopefully things arent sold out yet.). Yes. Especially Alchemy and Chaos, but I love them all.
Candy: I like Chocolates with crunchy stuff, Reese’s cups, snickers, starbursts except the cherry, and sour candy the more sour the better. Caramel/toffee anything. I also LOVE the green apple and caramel lollipops. If I had to pick a favorite full sized chocolate bar, it would be Tony’s with the toffee bits or Ruby chocolate, but I can’t remember who makes it.
Would you like any of these Snag Halloween tights? And if so, which of their sizes? I might wear Never Say Die, but I don’t wear tights often
Also is there anything you would particularly like from the UK? I like Coleman’s mustard. Interesting regional jams and jellies, mismatched tea cup/saucer, I don’t know. I’m kind of foodie, so some little interesting regional food, but maybe not meat.
What Halloween things off RedBubble do you like? Share link if possible.
https://www.redbubble.com/people/creepygirlclub/shop
Beyond that, I don’t even know where to start. The site is so huge. ? I like iconoclastic, funny shit. I’m not afraid to offend people, but I usually refrain from curse words on clothing.
Is there anything you might want from Japan? Snacks (autumn flavors are out~), nerdy stuff, cute stuff anything! *INCENSE* I used to work for Shoyeido Incense and am still a HUGE fan. Incense burner. Interesting decor items, indigo dyed items, bits of kimono fabric, snacks- but not fishy ones, inexpensive skin care, sunscreen, paint brushes. Spooky stuff.
is there anything being removed from site or a virtual con scent you are interested in trying? I was at DragonCon and got what I wanted.
I was wondering whether Tim Tams in any incarnation would tempt my witchee. On the less sweet side, is there any other Australian things you might be tempted by? Yes to Tim Tams. Other things: interesting regional jams, jellies, or honeys, salty snacks except vegemite, interesting spice blends or sauces, small aboriginal art
Do you enjoy fanfic? I would be happy to write something for you, and/or read/comment upon/gush over thing(s) you've written, if that's something you'd enjoy... It’s not really my thing. I wouldn’t know what to ask for
Would you appreciate rare TAL decant(s) in 1 mL amber roll-on bottle(s)? I have A LOT of TALs, but I might be interested in the right ones in rollerball format. Especially personal protection, money, or creativity blends
How do you feel about enamel pens? If positively, which fandoms or topics would you like? I like them and have tried to collect them, but the magnetic snaps on my bag pull the backs off. What We Do In Shadows, Our Flag Means Death, general witchcraft/satanism, Queens of the Stone Age, Zeal and Ardor, glitch art, snakes, medusa, Halloween stuff (the holiday, not the movie), creepy shit
Witches! I am excited. I just came across this Etsy shop and want all the flowers. All of them aka any of them. I came across them because of color wheel key chain or pins. So those too. I WILL BE ORDERING and wondering if you would like something from there as well? I know it's not very witchy but man are they pretty. They also have pets and beverages and other things but I got held up on the flowers and color wheels. Still exploring. Not seasonal aka witchoweeny: these are beautiful and I love bunches of them. I’m a BIG gardener and am just branching out into more flowers. Violets, violas, marigolds, fuchsia, pansy, gardenia, freesia, rose, forget me not, lavender, jasmine, carnation, magnolia, lilac, sweet pea, wisteria- any of those would be lovely.
Future Primitive: Ghost Smoke is my favorite scent. If shampoo bars or whipped soap come back in stock in any scent besides Rook and Raven, I’m needing them SOON. However, I do not need bar soap. I am well stocked on bar soap.
- I make lightweight hairfalls, the kind that can be attached to a pony tail or to pig tails. They are good for those of us that are more tender-headed. I use a variety of materials like shibori ribbon, and puffy yarns and pieces of lace and silk. You can use them for every day or as part of your Weenie costume. Is this of interest to you? If so tell me what lengt h, what color(s) and if you want one for a pony tail or two for pig tails: I don’t have enough hair for these currently. Maybe if you could do a clip in rat tail in a crazy neon color or dark, indigo blue?
Serge Lutens: would love to try
House of Gloi- maybe the Blood Orange Marshmallow in any formulation or any of the room sprays. No bar soap. I am well stocked on bar soap
harvested some elderberries yesterday and I have a lot more out there, so I made a batch of elderberry syrup. Would you appreciate a 4oz bottle of it?I’ve never tasted it before, but I would try it!
- Do you want anything from Sea Witch Botanicals (I can buy it locally from shops)?
This looks nice: White Lodge Spray
Hirons drugs- I am a spooky bitch. Useful kitchen stuff welcome like oven mitts, kitchen towels, mugs, glasses, tea things, bowls, containers, etc. bathroom things like hand towels soap dispensers, small containers. Stickers, pens- not tons, but a select few. You know I’m a creepy bitch. Dog toys yes, but people toys, probably not.
Gift certificates to places local to me- there’s a LYS that just opened near me. I can always use yarn or notions and it’s owned by a BIPOC. https://www.knittinginthegood.com
The food here is all chain restaurants and not my favorite. Maybe Michael’s or Joann’s, Ross or TJ Maxx.
How do you feel about ILNP nail polish and what are your favs from the new Cosmos collection and any others on their site??FUCKING LOVE. I own Cygnus Loop and another chrome one. I’ll have to find it to get the name. I don’t know how to do magnetic polish, nor do I have a magnet. But I love all the freaky colors. The weird holographic, chrome, jelly, and metallic. If it’s a dark or intensely weird color, I will like it.
Would you be interested in anything from Alobudra? I’m not seeing descriptions. I don’t take baths and probably don’t need more tarot cards. ?
I live in Japan, so are there any more “traditional” Japanese souvenirs you’d like to have (think chopsticks, tenugui, washi paper, etc.)?Any of these sound really nice. I also really love Japanese incense, especially Shoyeido. If there are any inexpensive ones not available in the US, that would be super! Simple tea cups would be used, too. Little incense burners. Small traditional home decor items
Brujita- holy shit yes. That Tuberose hydrosol sounds tdf. Honestly, any of the skincare for combo or mature skin except anything with rose geranium or the cucumber hydrosol. They sound AMAZING and if you aren’t my witch, I’m going to have to order from this shop at some point.
Would you be interested in any jewelry or other items made with tiny bones from this shop? I am worried my dogs would find these and eat the bones. ?. They are very nosy and naughty.
If you like tea, is there anything you would like from Bird & Blend? Tea is my thing and lots of these sound wonderful. Too many to list. I’m not big on green tea or medicinal tea, and licorice flavors aren’t my favorite. Otherwise, I’d try so many of these.
Bloomchic- I really do not need clothes right now. I have too many
Poesie Tea- I LOVE tea. Black tea is my favorite, esp Lapsang Souchong blends. I’m sure I could find tons I would love on here. Special favorites are Masala chai, Earl Gray and its iterations, caramel, florals, vanilla, chocolate, citrus, other fruit except cherry. No licorice flavors. Not a fan of green tea or strictly medicinal teas. Everything else is fair game
Would you like anything from Trader Joe's? (Pumpkin products are, sadly, not in stores yet, but they will be during this round!) I’m sure I would love lots of things, but I have never shopped there. I love foodie stuff. Salty/spicy snacks would be especially welcome.
Do you have any Halloween traditions? The whole carves pumpkins, gets dressed in costume, goes to a few Halloween parties, then we do blow out trick or treating (even though my kids are older teens, they’re still into it). The next day, we take out all of our aggressions on the pumpkins and beat them to a pulp with sticks. Some years we do more, but those are the ones we do every year.
What about Halloween-related fandoms? (ie. The Nightmare Before Christmas). I like vintage Halloween. 1970s and earlier back to Victorian era.
non-U.S folks!!! We always end up asking what we'd like from your exotic-to-us locales, but do you have any wishes for things from the States? I am in US. But would love to try any interesting regional stuff from wherever you are.
How do you feel about cherry things? Check out Cherry Republic and let me know if anything catches your eye!
Similarly, are you into fancy flavors of olive oil or vinegar? Check out Fustini's and let me know if anything appeals!
We also have an awesome store for jams and sauce, American Spoon which you should totally check out!
Would you like some locally sourced maple syrup?
Finally, I live in a place known for fudge. Do you like it and/or are their flavors you particularly like? My favorite shop is Murdick's if you need to see a flavor list.
Fustini’s: The infused olive oils sound great, except I don’t think I’d get much use for the butter or sage and wild mushroom. I am a sucker for balsamic vinegar, but I’m not sure I’d use the very sweet ones like vanilla or chocolate. I’d try any of the other vinegars.
American Spoon: anything here but cherry. Seriously. All the jam. Yum.
Fudge: Chocolate, vanilla, and the caramel sea salt one look good. I love Greenwoodtree’s chai fudge!
IKEA: the tree lamp and wreath are cool. The plug in purple lights, too.
Penzey’s: there’s almost too much to mention. I use A LOT of Mexican spices, lemon pepper, Italian spices, Mediterranean spices, and Tony Chachere’s- anything good on grilled chicken would be great. I grill up extra tofu, chicken and pork and put it in the fridge and freezer for lunches and quick dinners. Indian spices are also very welcome. I use A LOT of vanilla. Since I’ve gotten a stand mixer, I’ve been doing more baking. I make a lot of Asian food. Not sure how authentic it is, but Korean is a favorite as well as fancier ramen from Japan. I’d love to get better at Indian.
Colourpop: I just do not wear much make-up. Maybe some tinted lip oil in reds and purples? I try to do skincare, but that kind of shit the bed when the kids went back to school and I haven’t been keeping up with it like my skin likes.
Anything of interest from Cellar Door? (They have candles and soaps.)The Halloween and Woodsy candles sound nice. Not really a fan of pumpkin notes in candles, but the others looked good! No bar soap, please. I am very well stocked and need to use what I have.
Are you into wax melts, candles, incense, room sprays, or none of the above? Any of the above, but especially room sprays and either Japanese or loose incense.
Would you like anything from Luvmilk's Monster Mash? I didn’t really see anything that flipped my lid
I dye yarn. Are you a person who crafts with such? What fiber, weights, and colors would tickle your fancy? Would you rather have two different 100g skeins or enough of the same something for a bigger project?Yes!!! I haven’t been able to try lots of different fibers, so I’d be good with a surprise. I feel pretty confident I can knit with any fiber. I’ve done cotton, linen, superwash, non-superwash, mohair, alpaca, silk. I have needles in lots of sizes from tiny to super-bulky and have saved patterns in all weights. I like either dark, moody colors (dark jewel tones) like Farmer’s Daughter or Malabrigo or dark colors splashed with weird neon brights like Hedgehog Fibers and Madeline Tosh. I like making clothing, so one bigger project would be my preference.
Provided my experiments work, would you be interested in a bar of homemade tallow soap? I promise I will not send you anything particularly suspect, so this is entirely contingent upon my competence. This is probably the only bar soap I’d want!
Do homemade caramels or shortbread tickle your fancy? Hell yes. Either or both
What are your chocolate preferences? White, milk, dark? What inclusions (fruit, nuts, none, etc.)? Gimme as many details as possible. I like milk chocolate and white chocolate. I like toffee, caramel, and nuts, except walnuts. Berries, except cherries, orange, crispy bits like rice crispies or cocoa beans, sea salt. Not really a fan of coconut.
I make mixed media art (like collaging kinda). Is a mixed media art piece (small like an altoids tin or small canvas) something you'd be interested in?Yes
What music platform do you use (Spotify, Apple Music, Pandora, etc.)? Do you like receiving music recommendations? Spotify. I am hard to pick music for because I am weirdly picky about it, but I’m open to new stuff. I think I listed my Spotify on the spreadsheet, but this is my main playlist- mostly up to date: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/37bsCah5Ae2j1828Grkc5U?si=jeyKUbxXRyea8z0UiL8CIw
I’m a knitting kind of witch, would you appreciate a pair of hand knit socks. If yes, would you like them in a particular colour? Yes. Dark jewel tones or weird super brights
What type of spooky season imagery do you like? (Ie. bats, ghosts, vintage Halloween, etc.): bats, snakes, skulls, monsters (any and all), and vintage Halloween from the 1970s and earlier. Realistic gore isn’t really my thing, but stylized gore is totally fine.
Astrid's Autumn Line and Anniversary Tea Party just dropped. Anything you want?
Aura, Hecate, Nothing Gold Can Stay, Blackberry Poundcake, Citrus Petit Four, Orange Blossom & Lemon Biscuit, Rosey Blueberry Preserves
sun-dried heirloom tomatoes: fuck yes
dried ancho chile peppers - can be whole halves or ground into a delicious powder: absolutely
sugar-free candied pecans and walnuts or almonds: I can’t do artificial sweeteners or stevia
gourmet quality fudge in many flavors (formerly from my ETSY shop which I had to close until I have my own home again) please give me an idea the kinds of flavors you like. My more popular ones are Penuche, Choc & PB, Pumpkin pie, Forest fruit (with cherries, blueberries and cranberries), Vegan chocolate YES YES YES. I loved the Chai, and any kind of chocolate I can use to make hot chocolate. Pumpkin pie sounds good, too.
dried italian plums (pitted)maybe? I’ve never had them before
sugar-free canned plum or logan berry jam: maybe loganberry if no artificial sweeteners or stevia
freshly dried rosemary, thyme, basil, parsley individually or in combo: I’ll pass. I have more herbs than I can process right now
almond flour baked goods (low carb, sugar free, and gluten free) - give me examples of savory and sweet things you'd like: I am not familiar with almond flour, but historically I’ve not been crazy about store bought gluten-free baked goods. I cannot do artificial sweeteners or stevia. I don’t know if these would work well for me.
Might you like a witch hat? Later this month I'm taking a class at an area museum where I'm supposed to decorate 2 hats. Also I crochet wicked cute witchy hats: as much as I would love one, I’m not sure I would wear it or be able to display it and care for it properly.
SW 2023 9/16 catch-up

It's also that time of year where I make handmade soap (usually with calendula infused olive oil, tallow, oatmeal and honey) and candles (feel free to specify color and size, I don't usually scent them, but I do have a clover and apple scent I've been wanting to play with). I can also annoint and dress candles with TALs and herbs. Any interest? YES to handmade soap and dressed candles- esp cleansing, protection, money, attraction
No thank you! I have herbs and make my own fumitory bundles.
I also make salves! My go to in an arnica, calendula and comfrey mix for healing wounds or chapped skin. This can also be used on pet paws. We do have barely enough time that I could do a custom infusion.YES

If you have a furry friend living with you, what sort of treats do they like?We have 3 medium-big dogs. They like any edible treats. Bandanas. Stuffed toys and squeaker toys are HUGE favorites, but will be completely destroyed in minutes. VERY hard chewers- like they destroy kong toys for hard chewers. We’ve never had a squeaker last more than 20 minutes.
1. What is your feelings on seasonal mugs? Yes or, no? Too many in your house or bring them on?? LOVE.

How do you feel about stickers? If positively, are there any themes you'd rather not have stickers of? I love stickers, but don’t have tons of places to put stickers. Nothing is really off limits, but I don’t put curse words or ACAB related stuff on my car
What about crystals, cool rocks, and gemstones?YES. LOVE. I have a pretty decent collection, but am always interested in nice specimens, especially natural crystals. I make jewelry and have been more interested in faceted gemstones lately and anything made with jet.
How do you feel about Squishmallows and Squishables? (They have mini and micro sizes for those who like cute plushies but don't have a lot of space.) no thank you unless it’s for a kid and is a mini. My dogs destroy stuffed animals AND our house has 3 kids who collected stuffed animals. 2 of the kids still collect them, but don’t have much space for more.
Would you wear enamel pins with chains that are meant to be put on lapels? (Something like this.) probably not. I don’t really have this kind of clothing.

Yet Another NEW Question: I know we have been offered scarves, socks, etc but my favorite gifts are 'sock arms' as my recipients call them. Here is a picture from my blog: https://www.elkaknits.com/?p=845 Would you like something like that if I find time to craft? If so what sort of colors? Yes! I knit, but I love these and haven’t made any for myself. Prefer black or moody jewel tones
Witchee, what's your take on seasonal-themed Washi tape? It would be fun, but I don’t know where I would use it.
What about seasonal treats from Trader Joe's? I’ve never been to TJs, but I like salty, cheesy, spicy snacks or sweet snacks like toffee, caramel, sour candy, berries/fruit,
I make gluten-free biscotti this time of year, lemon and also cocoa varieties: does this sound good to you? I’m not sure I would enjoy gluten-free. I’ve tried some gf things from the grocery store and was not a fan
Would you like me to make a music mix for you? I kick it old school with a burned CD. If you're into this, name at least 3 to 5 genres of music you already love, or are interested to explore more of! I don’t have a place to play CDs.
would you like a scarf? If so, colors, length, iwide or skinny? Bulky yarn or thin and slinky?? sure! yarn weight not particular, just something soft and/or floppy, medium width? something lacy and decorative that's more accessory than warmth is also fun. anything just needs to be drapey because I have a short thick neck so I look ridiculous with anything tight up around it
How about some dishcloths, for the kitchen? Or spa cloths for the bathroom? If so, which? Any particular colors?? Either, whatever you'd feel like making, I use both. And no particular color preferences, but speckled yarn trips me out because it looks like stuff is stuck to it.
Would you like any of Cat Coven's Halloween goods? It's her original artwork based on medieval art. (It's a limited edition of everything, so hopefully things arent sold out yet.)
Look at The Green Salmon's webpage The Green Salmon - do you fancy any of the teas, coffees etc? It's a favorite place for me to stop on the coast, and I'll take any excuse to drive to the ocean.
What are your favorite halloween/samhain treats to eat? Please be specific. I have access to various candy stores, including healthy candy lol. I love fruit candy and gummies, specific to fall I used to like caramel apple sugar babies when I could find them. I even like those weird peanut butter taffy things in limited quantity.
Would you like any of these Snag Halloween tights? And if so, which of their sizes?
https://snagtights.com/pages/halloween
The fern and toadstools are fun. I love the familiar but I never wear skirts that short. I generally go size F in Snag.
Also is there anything you would particularly like from the UK?

I was wondering whether Tim Tams in any incarnation would tempt my witchee? I like them but I'm not the wild fan that some bpalistas are
On the less sweet side, are there any other Australian things you might be tempted by?
Do you enjoy fanfic? I would be happy to write something for you, and/or read/comment upon/gush over thing(s) you've written, if that's something you'd enjoy... All of my fan fic is in my own head, but I'm happy to read it

How do you feel about enamel pins? If positively, which fandoms or topics would you like? I LOVE pins. I put them on my knapsack. Fun critters, smartalecky sayings, pins from places (I get souvenir pins, I have some from virtual vacation swaps where my gifter has sent me pins from their place in the world, etc.) I have a couple pins from The Pickety Witch that are delightful.

Definite interest! Ponytail, my hair is alas too thin to pigtail now. Length, I dunno, 20-24" ? I have almost tailbone-length hair. Jeweltoned colors to show up against my dark hair, reds, greens, blues, honestly anything as long as it's vibrant. I have a new dance skirt that's red, navy, and lime green tie dye so I would kinda love an accessory that jives with that.
Haus Of Gloi just had their Halloween update! Anything appeal to you? https://www.hausofgloi.com/collections/fall-1

I just came across this Etsy shop (TheGrayMuse) and I WILL BE ORDERING and wondering if you would like something from there as well?
Future Primitive Soaps has released it's fall stuff. Would you like anything from there dearest witchee? https://futureprimitivesoap.co.uk probably not. I had a bar of their soap and loved the smell, but it's too highly fragranced for the beloved
I harvested some elderberries yesterday and I have a lot more out there, so I made a batch of elderberry syrup. Would you appreciate a 4oz bottle of it? sure!
Do you want anything from Sea Witch Botanicals (I can buy it locally from shops)? no thanks
Hirons Drug Store - which is basically an Unbelievable place to browse for every kind of eclectic, fun, spooky, weird, and even useful thing you could want - so tell me some Odds And Ends of things you like or want, I know this is open ended, sorry - - gadgetry, stickers, toys, pens, costumery, snacks, decoration, kitchen stuff, etc pens and notepads are always good, little fall decorations....this sounds like our downtown Ace Hardware, which is like the best ever
Gift Certificates you'd like to places that are local to you? Nothing specifically comes to mind
How do you feel about ILNP nail polish and what are your favs from the new Cosmos collection and any others on their site?? dark matter and shooting star are cool looking. I've never tried theirs, my go-to indie polish is KB Shimmer but I'm certainly open to others
Would you be interested in anything from Alobudra? https://alobudrallc.company.site/products/ don't think so

9/6
Would you like anything from Trader Joe's? (Pumpkin products are, sadly, not in stores yet, but they will be during this round!) I love TJ's, but I'm one of the lucky ones that has a local one. Never really tried their fall stuff though.
Do you have any Halloween traditions? Usualy we dance in a halloween show, but I guess it's become a winter ghost stories show. I put out candy for the kids, and I do a little quiet remembrance for Día de los Muertos
What about Halloween-related fandoms? (ie. The Nightmare Before Christmas) nothing in particular. I'm really more of a fall person than a particularly weenie person
non-U.S folks!!! We always end up asking what we'd like from your exotic-to-us locales, but do you have any wishes for things from the States? I am stateside but I love getting local-to-my-person things. I really love getting honey from different places because it's so interesting how varied it is.
I make things from thrifted sweaters that I cut up & make things from. Do you like armwarmers? yes!
Long or short? can use either, but I have pretty big hands/arms so if you are my witch and need measurements let me know ?
Solid color ( elegant) or funky stripes made from multiple sweaters? honestly, I can see the appeal of both. I like being goofy and eclectic, but I also wouldn't mind having something more appropriate to a long winter skirt outfit
Fave colors? black, earth tones, rich saturated colors except yellow's not really a good color for me, anything else is good
Is cashmere okay? sure, but handwashable would be better than anything that's dry clean only and I know some cashmere is that way
Wool & related blends? ( I never use scratchy wool for arm warmers.) all good here.
Do you like buttons used decoratively? go nuts!
I also do coiled & sewn rope work- it's functional art I wrap the rope in fabric & add appliques. I just had my first art show with these- bowls, trivets ( that can hang on the wall when not in use), coasters. Is this something you'd like ? Oh, that sounds super cool!
What sort of Halloween fabric? Whimsical? Witchy, bats, mushrooms, moths? I like nature-based or somber/atmospheric the best, or the silly cute critter stuff
How gothy do you like? I like the aesthetic, but I'm not supergoth
have velvets & sparkly stuff to work with too. What is your preference witchee? I tend to be more of a cotton/practical fabric person. I love the fancy stuff but it's more of an admire from a distance thing.
9/7
How do you feel about cherry things? Check out Cherry Republic and let me know if anything catches your eye! cherry is one of my favorite fruits/flavors. not sure on specifics, I'll look again, but I think I'd lean more towards sweeter offerings for fruit, not sure about cherry condiments
Similarly, are you into fancy flavors of olive oil or vinegar? Check out Fustini's and let me know if anything appeals! Pretty covered here, we have an olive oil and vinegar store and I just stocked up, I love making dressings and other stuff out of interesting vinegars.
We also have an awesome store for jams and sauce, American Spoon which you should totally check out! sour cherry and apricot preserves sound good, and I'm curious about the wheat and malt pancake mix
Would you like some locally sourced maple syrup? sure
Finally, I live in a place known for fudge. Do you like it and/or are their flavors you particularly like? My favorite shop is Murdick's if you need to see a flavor list. butter pecan, butterscotch, cherry, chocolate cherry all sound interesting, penuche and plain old chocolate are good too. And a slice of fudge would last me forever and a day because it's so rich I only eat a sliver at a time.
Anything from the IKEA Halloween store catch your witchy eye? https://www.ikea.com/ca/en/campaigns/halloween/ not really my thing
https://wildsoulriver.com I own the Magical Nature Tarot and love the feel of the cards. They have candles and teas and tinctures and books of the activist or witchy sort. Anything you see that you'd like? need to come back to this
I live near a Penzey's Spice https://www.penzeys.com
- do you cook? yes! cook, bake, candymake....
- Do you want fancy schmancy spices or spice blends? I have a pretty well stocked spice rack, but I'm always curious.
- Do you have a favorite alternative source that you prefer and or recommend? For example egads I am asking lots of Qs Curio Spice Co, Diaspora etc do ethically sourced spices.
- If you cook is there a type of cuisine you are interested in learning more about and would appreciate a starter pack of spices for that type of cooking? I don't really know of a whole bunch.
Indian, Nepalese, Japanese are all cuisines I'm interested in exploring more
Colourpop's Haunted Mansion collection dropped today.
If you're interested in makeup or skin care, are you interested in anything from Colourpop?
https://colourpop.com/
The multichome shadows look super fun but I need to look in more detail. Emo inside also looks lovely.
Anything of interest from Cellar Door? (They have candles and soaps.) either candles or soaps. scents that sound good: seaside siesta, cypress grove for candles, or alpine shoreline, earthen glow, ginger fizz, walk in the woods, kitch-iti-kipi, manistee sands, honestly most of the outdoorsy ones sound really pretty
Are you into wax melts, candles, incense, room sprays, or none of the above? Room sprays in more natural scents like citrus or pine, jar candles. No incense please, housemates can't handle them.
Would you like anything from Luvmilk's Monster Mash? Werewolf boyfriend maybe in balt salts or milk bath
I dye yarn. Are you a person who crafts with such? What fiber, weights, and colors would tickle your fancy? Would you rather have two different 100g skeins or enough of the same something for a bigger project? Avid crocheter, most of my regular projects are one or two-skein projects, mostly between worsted and fingering weight, though I do venture into bulky and lace weight on occasion.
Provided my experiments work, would you be interested in a bar of homemade tallow soap? I promise I will not send you anything particularly suspect, so this is entirely contingent upon my competence. I am down for any handmade witchery.
Do homemade caramels or shortbread tickle your fancy? This was actually my question, but I love both of these things
9/8
because I’m a knitting kind of witch, would you appreciate a pair of hand knit socks. If yes, would you like them in a particular colour? I have never had hand knit socks! No preference on color.
What type of spooky season imagery do you like? (Ie. bats, ghosts, vintage Halloween, etc.) I like bare trees and blowing leaves, fall animals, moons, stuff like a moonlit pumpkin field with mist...more atmospheric and pensive than strictly halloweeny.
Astrid's Autumn Line and Anniversary Tea Party just dropped. Anything you want? Flaxen sounds interesting, L’Araignée Opaline , Black Patent. They're all more things I'd like a sniffie of more than something I think would work out.
Homemade and preserved food goodies - Which of these things would you like my dear witchie? All are organic and grown or made by me.
sun-dried heirloom tomatoes
dried ancho chile peppers - can be whole halves or ground into a delicious powder
sugar-free candied pecans and walnuts or almonds
gourmet quality fudge in many flavors (formerly from my ETSY shop which I had to close until I have my own home again) please give me an idea the kinds of flavors you like. My more popular ones are Penuche, Choc & PB, Pumpkin pie, Forest fruit (with cherries, blueberries and cranberries), Vegan chocolate chocolate, forest fruit, penuche all sound lovely
dried italian plums (pitted)
sugar-free canned plum or logan berry jam
freshly dried rosemary, thyme, basil, parsley individually or in combo
almond flour baked goods (low carb, sugar free, and gluten free) - give me examples of savory and sweet things you'd like
Might you like a witch hat? Later this month I'm taking a class at an area museum where I'm supposed to decorate 2 hats. Also I crochet wicked cute witchy hats.
I think this sounds awesome. If it's a wearable hat, nothing too tall, or something like a fascinator would be lovely, or if it's something I could use as part of a fall/halloween decoration that would also be neat. ?
9/9
Do you see anything here that interests you? They have dry shampoos, whipped soaps, awesome hand cream, linen spray, sugar scrubs and perfume. https://www.etsy.com/shop/faefragrance/?etsrc=sdt I ilke the idea of hand cream or whipped soap, but all of her scents seem to be foodie, which isn't my thing.
Anything you want from my favorite local tea shop? www.fridaytea.com
second breakfast, caged heart, double cream earl grey, french cookie (black tea base), happy little tea, friday's afternoon. heck, I could enjoy half the shop, or a high-caf mystery pack
How about from my skincare person? drjensbeautylab.com/ I confess I'm curious about the skin zen cream, but I do have a stockpile of face stuff at the moment so I'm hesitant to jump on any new bandwagons other than in small sizes
How about from my witchy Chandler? https://www.etsy.com/shop/TeresaLynnsSimpleLux Appalachian Autumn, Petrichor, Wake the F* up, Tree Hugger, Calm the F* Down (sensing a trend here), What the actual, Ça sent bon , grapefruit mint, fixin to clean, pets welcome
Any interest? sure! scented or not, that sounds pretty.
I would use peppermint or chives as dried herbs, since I managed neither this year, and that salve sounds lovely.

Is there anything you would like from the Weenie update? No thank you, went for a couple decants since nothing really jumped out at me.
How do you feel about stickers? If positively, are there any themes you'd rather not have stickers of? I love stickers, nothing particularly gory or blatantly rude. I have a discbound notebook and got a clear plastic cover so I could put stickers on the opaque cover and have them protected. On there I have an Old Gods of Appalachia sticker, the seagulls have the Tardis (karen hallion I think?), an Aria Fawn sticker, a bumper sticker that reference my refusal to organize my life, and the 'I AM GOOD KITTY' possum. I love pretty stickers, too, and those get used for greetings cards and journals.
What about crystals, cool rocks, and gemstones? Bring it
9/15
How do you feel about Squishmallows and Squishables? (They have mini and micro sizes for those who like cute plushies but don't have a lot of space.) I love Squishables *glares at Twi for starting this* I don't have the space really for anything other than micros or maybe one more mini, I have the mini Snow Wolf (thank you Twi), and Wolf, and a micro t-rex for my desk at work. Not gonna lie, the woodland plague set kills me, no pun intended
Would you wear enamel pins with chains that are meant to be put on lapels? (Something like this.) I think I would find a shirt with a collar just to wear something like that.
Speaking of enamel pins... The Pickety Witch's Autumn and Halloween collection just dropped. Has anything caught your eye? The trick or treat kitty pin and witch kitty are adorable. I confess I have the trick or treat goat and love it.
I used to make mobiles out of paper cranes, would you appreciate something like this? if so, what size restrictions do you have, if any? ie., should it take up less space vertically or horizontally? color palette preference?
I would love that, probably longer and narrower, and cool toned colors
9/16
ordering bulbs from https://oldhousegardens.com and was wondering if my witchee would like some. I love flowers but have really limited space. I would like to plant a few crocus though
Would you like something like "sock arms" if I find time to craft? (Sometimes I make a pattern called Toast or Toasty {one has a thumb the other is just a tube} http://www.afriendtoknitwith.com/2008/09/toasttoasty.html. here are other photos from my blog: https://www.elkaknits.com/?p=845 )
-- If so what sort of colors?
I love those and would totally use something like that. Color not particular, probably something darker, or in the greys/browns.
Witchee, what's your take on seasonal-themed Washi tape? I think it's awesome but I never think to use it when I have it
What about seasonal treats from Trader Joe's? I honestly don't even know what they have, I like spice and caramel, and apple things. I think I had an autumn harvest tea from them one time that I enjoyed. If they have fall-themed savory goodies I'd be down for that, too. My pumpkin spice consumption in generally limited to homemade pumpkin bread.
I make gluten-free biscotti this time of year, lemon and also cocoa varieties: does this sound good to you? I do enjoy biscotti, and lemon is a favorite flavor in general.

I would love a music mix! I like rock, folk, classical, electronica, honestly I'm up for whatever. I'm not super nuts about things with particularly hateful lyrics, or anything discordant, but otherwise, bring it.
9/17
Anything here you like? https://bserway.com/ I love his art! I've got the spirit and Leafkin are great from the halloweenie types, Spirits of the midwinter timbers, The Crone's Seer, You hung the moon, Petalbearer, Magic hours, Thief, Foxtails, RAnni the witch, the little black mage, shroud me in obsidian night, or honestly just the mystery pack since I love stickers and postcards and such, and suprises are fun.
Anything you'd like from my Ren Fest? There is an outstanding garlic based shop I'll be going to next weekend, for my annual stock up of their spice blends & garlic oil blends. Any other Renny stuff that you like? Well I love garlic. Otherwise, hair ornaments or shawl pins are fun, not sure what other little stuff there is about.
know we are looking at a lot of candles, but if you are into looking at more (and it is ok to say you are not), do any of these strike your fancy?
https://www.lakewoodwax.com/candlesforacause
(Feel free to take a look at their current and signature scents too but I wanted to highlight these fundraiser scents first!) alas, no, they all sound a little too scent-busy for my housemates
/19

Are you a Studio Ghibli fan, and if so, what are your feelings about fan made art featuring characters? I love what I've seen but haven't seen much. In general I'm all about fan art.
Want anything from LUSH? Here's the link specifically to their Halloween drop (https://www.lush.com/us/en_us/c/halloween) BUT, feel free to peruse all of it. no thank you
9/20
Part 2 of the Autumnal/Halloween drop from Haus of Gloi is coming this weekend- take a look and see if anything is compelling! https://www.hausofgloi.com (fall part 2 is live on Sunday, here is a list of what is coming: https://www.hausofgloi.com/blogs/haus-herald/fall-part-2) maybe violet and blackcurrant or apples and hay butter bomb, scarecrow, old cider house, and hex sound nice, too. the dark fruit tea perfume sounds pretty. generally whipped soap or a scrub would be most useful
Also, I live in Philly and will use ANY reason to spend time at the Mütter Museum- anything of interest (including, but not limited to, the well-loved BPAL exclusive for the museum, Ü?) https://www.muttermuseumstore.org probably not? maybe the museum pin for my knapsack
If you are so inclined, do you want or need any natural items or ingredients for spellwork that could be collected from forests, ocean, fields or stream? I also have access to oak gall ink and various other esoteric substances. While this sounds awesome in theory I do not have the expertise to appreciate such
Are you a fan of the show Cobra Kai? nope (I can't say I'd dislike it, but had no interest in watching)
Do you enjoy any of the scented items from Victoria's Secret? not that I know of?
Would you be interested in receiving a silver locket with papyrus and herbs inside, as a protective amulet? that sounds lovely
9/21
So Witchee mine, are you a spellworker? - any interest in acorns from a tree known as The Mother Oak at my Ren Fest grounds. It is the biggest tree I've ever seen in MI. It is cared for by tree scientists from MSU. It is the mom to every other oak on the grounds. Saturday is Mabon & I will go & gather acorns before the park opens to patrons as I do each year. But this time it's actual Mabon. So Witchee dearest, would you like some? I'm not a spellworker, but I do keep a sort of altar with special nature things on it, so I would love an acorn
Witchee, do you like anything from Lenny Mud? not really my thing
9/22
From previous questions you've answered, I know a lot about the teas you'd like from specific places, but I want to know your more general tea preferences. Black, green, white, rooibos, oolong, herbal? (guessing I'm not your witchee since I answered a lot of this in my q'aire, but just in case. ) I drink primarily black but like green, white, oolong...I like some smokiness, but straight lapsang souchong can be a bit much. I like fruit or vanilla flavored teas, earl grey, rose. I like herbal brews and blends as well, just nothing with licorice root or any other 'sweet' aspect. I'm also not a tea snob. I love my loose teas and have tea balls and pretty teapots but my default quick cup is plain old Red Rose bagged tea.
- Japan is particularly big on their green tea and hojicha (roasted green tea), any interest? Sure! I'm also a fan of genmaicha
- My partner has given me an extraordinary amount of rooibos from South Africa. It's amazing and I'd like to share, so would you like some? not a big fan of rooibos unfortunately
despite being uk based I’m probably gonna have to make a torrid order because I fell in. Anything catch your eye while I’m doing it? no thank you

Is anyone into colouring in? yep. floral designs, intricate patterns, animal things
8/27/23
Would you like any of the following? (Maybe just remove the things you aren't interested in?):
Catnip (organic, from our property. Dried in our dehydrator.)
Canned food items
Thick Huckleberry Syrup (or thin huckleberry jam -- it was kind of a fail for how thick/thin it is, but still tasty. Has sugar.)
Bluebarb jam (blueberry/rhubarb) (has sugar.)
Blackberry, Raspberry, or Strawberry Jam (they have sugar)
Possibly peach or plum jam or butter (we can probably make it without ingredients you can't have - if allergies)
Apple Crips (dried apples with nothing added, not sure what kind of apples we'll do this year. Usually honeycrisp.)
Mugwort smudge wand (some with lavender) (all organic, from our property.)
Dried lavender I can do sachets or just some in a mesh baggie. Sadly our lavender is too dry right now to do wands.
Rose petal beads (if I manage to make enough, I'm gathering rose petals right now.) I'll probably put them on a string unless I have time/energy for more.
Thunder Butter? (like icy hot but made with herbs, beeswax, menthol, wintergreen, cayenne. Spot test so it doesn't burn your skin.)
I can do colorwork hats or cowls with skulls, bats, pumpkins, ghosts...
Yarn preference? (merino wool, merino cashmere, merino silk, merino silk cashmere, acrylic, sparkles or no sparkles, etc.
How about a soap bag (knitted), washcloths, or tarot card bag? (washcloths will be cotton. soap bags will probably be either cotton or non-superwash wool so they shrink around the soap. Tarot will be silk - I have limited colors in silk.)
I can do the BPAL Brimstone logo, bats, skulls, cats, jack o lanterns, whatever on washcloths.
Or maybe a gknitted Gnome? Or bat? Ghost? Black Cat? Voodoo doll? Monster? Or something else spooky? I have lots of patterns. Here is an example I did for the Gnome swap.
If you want any knitted things -- color preferences? I can do stripy mitts, cowls, or hats. Solid or gradient color shawlettes, cowls, mitts, hats. Colorwork hats or cowls (base color plus whatever color for your skull, ghost, bat, jack o lantern, spider, witch hat, moon, cat, or whatnot.) Solid one color for soap bag, washcloths, or tarot bag. (I think I only have purple silk for the tarot bag.) Pick three or four colors for Gnomes (one of those colors will be their beard, I usually use white.)
My mom has an etsy shop with project bags for knitting/crochet or what ever you want to use them for. We could also make tote type bags, flat zipper cosmetic type bags, or boxy bags/dice bags. Are you interested in this type of item? I have all kinds of spooky fabric that isn't currently up on the shop if you look through the sold items. https://twinklentwilight.etsy.com

Colourpop's Haunted Mansion collection dropped today.
If you're interested in makeup or skin care, are you interested in anything from Colourpop?
https://colourpop.com/
Would you like any of the following? (Maybe just remove the things you aren't interested in?):
Catnip (organic, from our property. Dried in our dehydrator.
Rose Petal liqueur sample (has sugar.)
Lavender Vanilla Bean liqueur sample (has sugar.)
Mead sample (flavor depends on what kind of mead my son has made lately. Can make it dry, semi-sweet, or sweet to your preference.)
Catnip: No, thanks!
Canned food items: Those all sound good! Yes please
Apple Crisps: Yes!
Mugwort smudge wand: no, thank you
Dried lavender: no, thanks!
Rose petal beads: sure!
Thunder butter: sure! this one sounds really interesting
Alcoholic beverages: I'll have to wait until after I've given birth (I'm pregnant OMG), but if it will keep until... December... i would absolutely love a taste!
Would you like me to knit you a hat, shawlette, cowl, or fingerless mitts? I can do colorwork hats or cowls with skulls, bats, pumpkins, ghosts...
Yarn preference? (merino wool, merino cashmere, merino silk, merino silk cashmere, acrylic, sparkles or no sparkles, etc.
No, thank you! it is SO HOT here even in fall/winter. if you wanted to make something for a baby though, that would be super cute!
Heck yes! I use solid soaps, so a knitted soap bag would be great!
Or maybe a knitted Gnome? Or bat? Ghost? Black Cat? Voodoo doll? Monster? Or something else spooky? I have lots of patterns. Here is an example I did for the Gnome swap.
Yay, I've got that gnome! If you want to make something cute for a baby that would be awesome! A spider? or those yip yip aliens!
Hmmm... chartreuse
My mom has an etsy shop with project bags for knitting/crochet or what ever you want to use them for. We could also make tote type bags, flat zipper cosmetic type bags, or boxy bags/dice bags. I would love it! I like those boxy bags. I like the bats and the tarot card patterns.
Lush Halloween Drop?
Ooo Lush! I use Lush stuff (especially their solid massage bars and solid scrubs) and love their Lord of Misrule scent. I'll come back to this question when the collection drops!
Did you guys see the announcement about Surprise Items that will be at Dragoncon? Which items, if any, are you interested in??
Invisible Man Milk or Mummy Milk!
Would you be interested in dangle earrings or pendants made of dried roses (and other beads)?
I would wear a pendant more than I would wear the earrings
How do you feel about stuffies that are sewn? Form or fabric preference?
Love it! No preference for fabric, but something newborn/baby friendly (I am expecting my first in November)
Teeturtle, anything look fun?
They are cute, but I don't wear t-shirts, sorry!
Haus of Gloi's first fall collection has dropped - anything you like?
ooo the pumpkin butters are amazing! The scents Pumpkin Eater, Hex, and Kitchen Witch sound the most yummy
What about Paintbox Soapworks Fall scents?
Hmm.. I love solid soaps, and Let Me In at your Window sounds the best to me!
MORE QUESTIONS!
How do you feel about CBD as an ingredient in something? Like a pain relief lotion or lip balm?
I'm getting into bookbinding! Is there a fanfic/book (I can try to get the text block in paperback and rebind it)/out-of-copyright book that you want hardbound all fancy?

Ah, anything Lord of Misrule scented and I particularly love their solid massage bars!
Cellar Door's seasonal items are out. Anything you need?
I do like solid soaps! Once Bitten sounds good. And as an aside, I am always in need liquid hand soaps, if you see any cool ones!
Are you interested in anything from Grounds and Hounds? They give back to rescue dogs and they have more items than just coffee. Hot chocolate, apparel, stickers, mugs, dog toys and blankets, caramels, brewers, etc.
Oooo! Anything whole bean, and we usually drink a medium roast.
Anything from here? The Halloween Collection is adorable. Clothes That Fit - Snag US (snagtights.us)

Favorite medieval or renaissance or fantasy creatures or imagery or legends?
probably pirate-y things right now, or something viking. not that into fantasy creatures
Hey Swapee, you said you like gummy candy. Have you ever had the real deal Middle Eastern candy that " invented" gummy candy? Made with real fruits & nuts & sooooo good. I have a fabulous Middle Eastern grocery near where I work that has more than 20 flavors.
Would you like a box? omg sounds amazing
If so, what kinds of fruits or berries do you like?
Mango, figs, dates, pineapple. I like lingonberries, cranberries, raspberries and blackberries
Are you a fan of vivziepop/helluvaboss? Anything from their merch store?
No, thanks!

Geeky, queer pride, tarot, books/reading
Since it is Pumpkin Spice Season (during this swap), what is your Pumpkin Spice opinion? Or just pumpkin? Or apple anything?
I like pumpkin spice! And apple, but as flavors more than scents.
Colourpop's Haunted Mansion collection dropped today. If you're interested in makeup or skin care, are you interested in anything from Colourpop? https://colourpop.com/
ooo how interesting!
8/27/23
Would you like any of the following? (Maybe just remove the things you aren't interested in?):
I literally would love all of your homemade items and herbs and stuff. Sadly I can't do alcohol right now because of my medication.
Would you like me to knit you a hat, shawlette, cowl, or fingerless mitts?
I do always love me some fingerless mitts or shawlettes. I have a "make for me" section on Ravelry! And another make for me area for the Vampire Swamp I used to join every year. A lot of the items I'd want someone to make me are crochet amigurumi or colorwork, because I don't crochet and also I rarely do colorwork for myself.
How about a soap bag (knitted), washcloths, or tarot card bag?
I'm good because I make these things myself! Maybe nice washcloths. Or dishcloths made with that "scrubby" red heart stuff.
Or maybe a gknitted Gnome? Or bat? Ghost? Black Cat? Voodoo doll? Monster? Or something else spooky?
See the answer above with the make for me links!
If you want any knitted things -- color preferences?
I love black and purple, black and white, black and grey, black and blue... blurples of all sorts. Jewel tone colors - no navy or pastels or neons.
I always love more bags because I am kind of a bag whore. I most of mine are full, hahaha. There are some with Pit Bull fabric on them that I would adore, I think on my etsy wish list (looked afterwards, all sold out. wah wah.) Or heck, just find me super awesome pit bull fabric and I can make my own bag.
8/28/23
LUSH's Halloween collection drops 8/31. I will be making an order. Can I pick up something for you?
Hm, I need more Dream Cream (self preserving) but that is kind of expensive for the huge container (which I absolutely use all of!) I love most of their items as long as you double check that they don't have SLS/sulfates, parabens, etc. (some of their items do!!) I love the scent of Lord of Misrule, Rose Jam, Twilight/Sleepy, Candy Fluff/Snow Fairy, Snowcake, Butterball, Silky Underwear, etc. . Black Rose bomb (ingredients look ok, and I love Rose and Black, so perfect!) I don't do their solid perfumes but the trial size of Lord of Misrule perfume would be welcome! Any safe bath bombs, shampoo bars, etc. are welcome. I kind of want the Unicorn lip scrubby (if they still have it) but otherwise I don't especially love the lip scrubbies in general. I would absolutely love to try the Soother toothpaste jelly. (mmm Clove!) I've never tried the Aroma & Bath Melts. I love Silky Underwear dusting powder. Would love to try Let the Good Times Roll cleanser (sample?) Most of their cleansers, shower gel, shower jellys, bubble bars, etc. have SLS sadly, but that one doesn't. Would try Charity Pot (sample?) Would love a really good moisturizer for super dry skin (sample?)
Ok, I have seen the Halloween update!! I would take the Bat art bath bomb (even though it has sulfates, I can live this once) and I would LOVE Lord of Misrule soap and/or Demon in the Dark soap! (I used to get Demon in the Dark back in the day before it was discontinued.)
Which Surprise Items that will be at Dragoncon might you be interested in?
Ooooh. I am interested in ALL of the Convention Survival Oils. And when All Hallows rolls around, I absolutely want to try Ghost Milk and Vampire Milk! Invisible Man Milk sounds interesting too except maybe not if the musk is too sheer, so decant for sure. A Timid Twinkling Golden Star and The Witches Have a Fire Again also both sound interesting! (Except Oak / Oakmoss goes wonky on me, so maybe just a decant for Witches.)
EDIT: I purchased all of the convention survival oils when they went up online.
Would you be interested in dangle earrings or pendants made of dried roses (and other beads)?
My ears are not currently pierced and and I haven't been able to wear necklaces with any kind of chain (for the necklace) or metal clasp (for non metal necklaces) but I would absolutely hang something in my car or on the wall. I love roses, especially if super fragrant.
How do you feel about stuffies that are sewn? Form or fabric preference?
I do have a lot of bat stuffies on my etsy wishlist but I don't really NEED any. Plus if I keep any stuffies anywhere that the dogs can reach them, the stuffies will become dog prey and will be eviscerated and destroyed.
Teeturtle, anything look fun?
Always! Teeturtle is my fav. I wear the women's 2xl. They're out of my size on a lot of shirts I want, but here are some options (in no particular order.)

Haus of Gloi's first fall collection has dropped - anything you like?
I would take Ghost Puffs in any of the scrubs/whipped soap and maybe a small body emulsion? Would take candles in any of these: Blueberry Tart, Lemon Marshmallow, Marshmallow Rose, Apple Milk, Blood Orange Marshmallow, Cozy Pumpkin, Ghost Puffs, Olde Cider Haus, Pumpkin Eater, Pumpkin Queen, Red Roan. (Candles would be for my mom.) Refresher sprays welcomed in Blood Orange Marshmallow or Ghost Puffs (or Lemon Marshmallow from summer area but there is only 1 left!) I would take butterbombs but I don't see any!
8/29/23
What about Paintbox Soapworks Fall scents?
Let me in at your window - sorbetto (sample size is great.) I'm really kind of overloaded with sugar scrubs right now but that one sounds good. Plus Wuthering Heights / Kate Bush reference ftw.
How do you feel about CBD as an ingredient in something? Like a pain relief lotion or lip balm?
I absolutely use CBD as an ingredient in lotions and lip balms although I'm not supposed to have any right now because of the medication I'm on.
I'm getting into bookbinding! Is there a fanfic/book (I can try to get the text block in paperback and rebind it)/out-of-copyright book that you want hardbound all fancy?
Hm, I had some on my etsy wish list at one point but my mind is a blank right now.
8/30/23
Cellar Door's seasonal items are out. Anything you need?
I would LOVE candles in Once Bitten and/or Sex Machine.
Are you interested in anything from Grounds and Hounds? They give back to rescue dogs and they have more items than just coffee. Hot chocolate, apparel, stickers, mugs, dog toys and blankets, caramels, brewers, etc.
OMG so many things. I love the Must Love Pibbles throws but they're spendy.

are there any particularly spooky reads you are interested in? Favorite horror author's with books you haven't read/don't own yet? Comic books included?
Nah, I'm not especially into horror. I'm an epic fantasy / sci fi reader.
I'm going to the MD ren faire this weekend - anything you like from faires? It's a large one with very strictly juried vending so think higher quality goods ‐ teas, soaps, scents, arts, prints, etc.
I love ren faire stuff. Any quality tea is lovely!
Favorite medieval or renaissance or fantasy creatures or imagery or legends?
Unicorn, Hippocampus, most equines and dogs.
I love turkish delight. I love different fruit ones too, but I hate walnuts and it seems like those are in a lot. I'm ok with almonds or pecans.
If so, what kinds of fruits or berries do you like? Most of them? Plum, raspberry, blueberry, blackberry, huckleberry, peach, mango, apple, pear, pineapple, etc. etc.
Switch Witch questions - answered! Also check the 7 spooky nights blog for info.
would you like a scarf? If so, colors, length, iwide or skinny? Bulky yarn or thin and slinky?? Not so much.
How about some dishcloths, for the kitchen? Or spa cloths for the bathroom? If so, which? Any particular colors??
Would you like any of Cat Coven's Halloween goods? It's her original artwork based on medieval art. (It's a limited edition of everything, so hopefully things arent sold out yet.)
Halloween is a lifestyle patch
Look at The Green Salmon's webpage The Green Salmon - do you fancy any of the teas, coffees etc? It's a favorite place for me to stop on the coast, and I'll take any excuse to drive to the ocean. Their Earl Grey sounds really interesting. Irish Breakfast is a fave.
Is there anything you might want from Japan? Snacks (autumn flavors are out~), nerdy stuff, cute stuff anything! Crochet patterns that have symbols/ charts ( I realize the text will be Japanese but I can usually sort it out with the symbol chart). Exotic kit kats are nice ( esp if citrus is involved)but I don't eat a lot of candy. Interesting sauces or spices for noodles & tofu as long as it's vegetarian ( along with a recipe for how you use it.). Cute black cats
is there anything being removed from site or a virtual con scent you are interested in trying? Further up this page is a Dragoncon scent question with names.
9/1
I was wondering whether Tim Tams in any incarnation would tempt my witchee. On the less sweet side, is there any other Australian things you might be tempted by. I've never tried Tim Tams , so I have no opinion there. I do collect rocks, minerals& fossils though & have nothing Australian. So if it's not too big or horrible to ship, I would love a rock or shiny pebble of something Australian.
Do you enjoy fanfic? I would be happy to write something for you, and/or read/comment upon/gush over thing(s) you've written, if that's something you'd enjoy... no thank you, not really me.
Would you appreciate rare TAL decant(s) in 1 mL amber roll-on bottle(s)? Sure as long as no musk, patch, or eucalyptus.
How do you feel about enamel pins? If positively, which fandoms or topics would you like? I love pins & patches & have a wishlist for each in my etsy (link in sig file). As far as fandoms ( not in etsy) Star Trek ( Next Generation, Strange New Worlds, Lower Decks), Edgar Allen Poe, Time Team.

Also is there anything you would particularly like from the UK? I love Bird & Blend teas, but haven't ordered in ages since paying more for the shipping than the tea. Vicky's Spongecake, chocolate digestives, mocha chai, lady Lavender. Violet cream. Loose tea is fine.
I always wanted to try Future Primitive. Choclatier, Owlett, or Grumpy Pumpkin soaps. Witch Cake lotion.
Would you be interested in any jewelry or other items made with tiny bones from this shop? There are some Halloween themed ones: https://www.tinybonesandthings.com/s/shop.
Nope, this is not me
If you like tea, is there anything you would like from Bird & Blend? https://www.birdandblendtea.com/
I love this company & wish they had a US location. Spiced Pumpkin Pie tea, or the pumpkin pie sticky Chai, chocolate digestives, dark chocolate chili chai, butter brew
I've had their Chrstmas theme teas, but not Halloween.
BloomChic - just discovered them - Take a look at the Halloween stuff, and tell me the link and the size of whatever thing you like!
Oh Wow, supercute things. Love these 3 best: the plaid halloween hanky skirt in purple, 3x
Moon Print Bell Sleeve Hanky Hem T-Shirt 3x
Crochet lace mesh bell sleeve hanky hem shirt, green 3x
Would you like anything from Trader Joe's? (Pumpkin products are, sadly, not in stores yet, but they will be during this round!). I love , not just all the pumpkin spice things, but also all the pumpkin/ squash based foods. This said, I have a TJs in my area and I do an annual perusing of the pumpkin stuff.
Do you have any Halloween traditions? I make a vegetarian autumn harvest feast. I celebrate Samhain. I attend a costumed literary themed bash that is a fundraiser for the Great Lakes Area Horror Writers. I celebrate the season.
What about Halloween-related fandoms? (ie. The Nightmare Before Christmas) Love Nightmare before Christmas. Ravens, Owls, Bats & Cats are fave motifs aside from Nightmare
non-U.S folks!!! We always end up asking what we'd like from your exotic-to-us locales, but do you have any wishes for things from the States?
I'm a US girl who would be delighted to find fun things to send far, far away to you.
How do you feel about cherry things? Check out Cherry Republic and let me know if anything catches your eye! Cherry Black tea.
Similarly, are you into fancy flavors of olive oil or vinegar? Check out Fustini's and let me know if anything appeals! I love their Cinnamon Pear- drizzled on baked pears. Would love to try the Cranberry pear (I didn't know rose balsamic existed).
We also have an awesome store for jams and sauce, American Spoon which you should totally check out! Rhubarb marmalade or Spiced Pearq
Would you like some locally sourced maple syrup? I just opened a bottle if grade B amber that will last at least 6-8 months.
Finally, I live in a place known for fudge. Do you like it and/or are their flavors you particularly like? My favorite shop is Murdick's if you need to see a flavor list. I love fudge, but I'm diabetic so it does not represent "good choices". This said, dark chocolate with walnuts, or maple walnut.
Anything from the IKEA Halloween store catch your witchy eye? https://www.ikea.com/ca/en/campaigns/halloween/ the led wreath or little black tree. I love bare trees & branches. Also purple fairy lights.
https://wildsoulriver.com I own the Magical Nature Tarot and love the feel of the cards. They have candles and teas and tinctures and books of the activist or witchy sort. Anything you see that you'd like? Conk out tea sounds wonderful as I have a hard time falling asleep. The murder of crows tarot looks interesting, but I probably don't need another deck.
I live near a Penzey's Spice https://www.penzeys.com
- do you cook? Yes
- Do you want fancy schmancy spices or spice blends? Always
- Do you have a favorite alternative source that you prefer and or recommend? I have a penzeys nearby, so I'm very familiar. For example egads I am asking lots of Qs Curio Spice Co, Diaspora etc do ethically sourced spices. If you have a line on spices & recipes for vegetarian Indian cooking ( beyond penzeys curry powder) that would be fun. I've also become fascinated by flavored salts. I have a red wine salt that is interesting. Is there a flavored salt you like to use?
- If you cook is there a type of cuisine you are interested in learning more about and would appreciate a starter pack of spices for that type of cooking? I'm interested in learning vegetarian Indian cooking
.
Colourpop's Haunted Mansion collection dropped today.
If you're interested in makeup or skin care, are you interested in anything from Colourpop?
https://colourpop.com/ I'm not really into fancy makeup
Posie Teas- these sound lovely: L'hiver Dégagé, Twice to tea, palace chai, royal wedding. It's always nice when I can have a cuppa that tastes like a fabulous dessert.
Anything of interest from Cellar Door? (They have candles and soaps.) I love their Lavender Pumpkin soap, but have never tried the candle. Their apple scents are nice too.
Are you into wax melts, candles, incense, room sprays, or none of the above? Candles yes, wax melts no. Incense rarely, room sprays like bpal linen sprays ( omg TKO linen spray)
Would you like anything from Luvmilk's Monster Mash? Did not see anything that grabbed me.
I dye yarn. Are you a person who crafts with such? What fiber, weights, and colors would tickle your fancy? Would you rather have two different 100g skeins or enough of the same something for a bigger project? Yes I am a yarn hoar. Knitting & crochet both. Hmm, what about 2 related skeins that play together? Perhaps fae foresty autumn vibes where one is mostly greens with bits of leaf colors and the other has only a little green? As to fiber- wools, superwash wool blends, a touch of something else? Choose a yarn that you love how it takes the dye.
Provided my experiments work, would you be interested in a bar of homemade tallow soap? I promise I will not send you anything particularly suspect, so this is entirely contingent upon my competence. Sorry, Veggie girl has a squick reaction to tallow soap.
Do homemade caramels or shortbread tickle your fancy? I do love shortbread.

because I’m a knitting kind of witch, would you appreciate a pair of hand knit socks. If yes, would you like them in a particular colour? Purples, greens. Shie size is 9.5.
What type of spooky season imagery do you like? (Ie. bats, ghosts, vintage Halloween, etc.) Ravens, Owls, bats, cats, Witches. Vintage is cool. Bare Trees in silhouette with a full moon. Not into cutsey motifs.
Astrid's Autumn Line and Anniversary Tea Party just dropped. Anything you want?
I've never tried their scents, but these sound great:
Weaving Beneath the October Moon
Boysenberry & Pear Tartlet,
Pear Frangipane Tartlet
London Fog Tea
QUESTION: Homemade and preserved food goodies - Which of these things would you like my dear witchie? All are organic and grown or made by me.
sun-dried heirloom tomatoes yes!
dried ancho chile peppers - can be whole halves or ground into a delicious powder. Yes! Powder!
sugar-free candied pecans and walnuts or almonds how can you do the w/o sugar? Love to try.
gourmet quality fudge in many flavors (formerly from my ETSY shop which I had to close until I have my own home again) please give me an idea the kinds of flavors you like. My more popular ones are Penuche, Choc & PB, Pumpkin pie, Forest fruit (with cherries, blueberries and cranberries),
Yes to small piece of Forest fruit
dried italian plums (pitted) yes!
sugar-free canned plum or logan berry jam. Berry please
freshly dried rosemary, thyme, basil, parsley individually or in combo. I have these in my own garden
almond flour baked goods (low carb, sugar free, and gluten free) - give me examples of savory and sweet things you'd like. Savory crackers or sweet shortbread
Anything you want from my favorite local tea shop? www.fridaytea.com
Caramel apple black, pumpkin chai, & Nevermore sound good but Witches Brew sounds like an amazing treat.
How about from my skincare person? drjensbeautylab.com/ skin Zen eye cream might be good for me.
How about from my witchy Chandler? https://www.etsy.com/shop/TeresaLynnsSimpleLux
I'm just here for the Boos, All Hallows Eve, Vintage Halloween ( with the Witch & moon design)
Tallow soap is not something I use.
What is done with raspberry leaf? Is it a tea?
I also make salves! My go to in an arnica, calendula and comfrey mix for healing wounds or chapped skin. This can also be used on pet paws. We do have barely enough time that I could do a custom infusion
Ooh arnica is good for bruises. Hubs bruises super easy & that might help.
Anything in the Paintbox Soapworks Halloween update looking good to you? https://paintboxsoapworks.com/new-limited-edition/2023-weenie-collection/
The bookbinders balm is amazing. As is the bath streusel. Cathedral of Pumpkins & Putney Rd are both nice scents.
If you have a furry friend living with you, what sort of treats do they like
I have furkids of the feline variety. They are catnip junkies who love all different toys. Any kind of toy will have a fan.
What is your feelings on seasonal mugs? Yes or, no? Too many in your house or bring them on??
A fun seasonal mug is always appreciated, especially one I can take to work.
Are your wishlists - Amazon, Etsy, etc - up to date, and if so, are they all linked somewhere that I can find them?
Those links are in my sig file on the forum
Do you have anything you use every day that you wouldnt mind getting more of? Tea! Candles.
hand cream.
Anything you love or need to have from Adagio or Rishi teas? Not fond of Adagio. I have not tried Rishi but am totally up for it.
List here things you wish you would've added to your questionnaire .
Umm I really don't know what to say here. I've answered so many questions, I almost feel like I can't imagine anything that's not covered.
To answer the sticker question - sure, stickers are fun. Nothing horror/gory. Witchy, Halloween, mushrooms are current faves.
And now the rock question, yes I love rocks/crystals/fossils & the like. We have a cabinet of all sorts of rock samples and small fossils. I'm especially fond of "hagstones", aka rocks or pebbles with a natural hole.
Weenies- I am crushed that there are no Dead Leaves this year. I'll have to keep my eyes open when people are selling any DL that don't have musk or heavy Patch. And while I love BPAL bath oils, hard candy does not appeal.
Of the offerings, these are the most interesting to me:
Witches currant cakes - (I grow currants & gooseberries in my garden)
Halfway to Halloween
Halloween Cat
Slumber Ghoul
Pumpkin Spice Dark & Stormy (a favorite cocktail)
Pumpkin Spice Espresso Martini
Still seeking a new lavender scent- my most treasured Knight in Shiny Armor is getting low.
ordering bulbs from https://oldhousegardens.com and was wondering if my witchee would like some. This is a fantastic idea. I love any kind of daffodils or anything from the woodland sprites collection.
I love fingerless mitts, with thumb prefered, dark shades of purple or green.
Witchee, what's your take on seasonal-themed Washi tape? I love them, especially purple/ black/green ones
What about seasonal treats from Trader Joe's? I have one local to me so I've got this covered, thanks.
I make gluten-free biscotti this time of year, lemon and also cocoa varieties: does this sound good to you? Sure. When I have cookies, I like crispy ones to dunk in coffee or tea.
Would you like me to make a music mix for you? I kick it old school with a burned CD. If you're into this, name at least 3 to 5 genres of music you already love, or are interested to explore more of! Sorry no. I do not currently have a way to play cds.

f you are a person who appreciates tarot and oracle decks, do you have a strong preference about receiving new ones vs gently/barely used?
I think that I need to focus on getting better with the ones I have. I don't want to start over with a new one right now.
Are you a Studio Ghibli fan, and if so, what are your feelings about fan made art featuring characters?
I enjoy the movies, but not sure about fan art- sorry.
Want anything from LUSH? Here's the link specifically to their Halloween drop (https://www.lush.com/us/en_us/c/halloween) BUT, feel free to peruse all of it.
Ahh, Lush, always addictive. Here's what caught my eye: bubble lugosi bubble bar, Pumpkin crumble bubble bar, Pumpkin Spice bath bomb, Butterball, deep sleep, twilight bath bombs
Haus of gloi- fave products are pumpkin butter & bubble scrub
blood orange marshmallow
Hex
Pumpkin eater
In the perfume- vanilla pear punch & dark fruit tea. Curious about the lavender chocolate one but not sure.
Mutter museum- nah, not my thing
NEW QUESTION: If you are so inclined, do you want or need any natural items or ingredients for spellwork that could be collected from forests, ocean, fields or stream? I also have access to oak gall ink and various other esoteric substances.
I am so inclined & I've been away from my spellcraft for a while- as you know sometimes life gets in the way.
I would love any things you would like to hunt for, find or otherwise collect. I do want to get back to my witchy self & this would encourage me.
NEW QUESTIONS:
*Are you a fan of the show Cobra Kai?
Nope
*Do you enjoy any of the scented items from Victoria's Secret? No. I'm not into their stuff
*Would you be interested in receiving a silver locket with papyrus and herbs inside, as a protective amulet?
Of course!
Anything of interest from Cellar Door? (They have candles and soaps.) I love their Lavender Pumpkin soap, but have never tried the candle. Their apple scents are nice too. Basic Witch is nice too.

From previous questions you've answered, I know a lot about the teas you'd like from specific places, but I want to know your more general tea preferences. Black, green, white, rooibos, oolong, herbal?
- Japan is particularly big on their green tea and hojicha (roasted green tea), any interest?
- My partner has given me an extraordinary amount of rooibos from South Africa. It's amazing and I'd like to share, so would you like some?
For me the best option is black tea- flavored or straight up, loose or bagged. Please no Green or Rooibos.
despite being uk based I’m probably gonna have to make a torrid order because I fell in. Anything catch your eye while I’m doing it? The Bejeweled Bat barrette is cute
All answers are in purple next to bullet points!
I'm a knitter, though slow. I’ll have time for a scarf or washcloths during this round. would you like a scarf? If so, colors, length, iwide or skinny? Bulky yarn or thin and slinky??
I'm not one for scarves, and I have plenty of washcloths!
How about some dishcloths, for the kitchen? Or spa cloths for the bathroom? If so, which? Any particular colors??
I also have plenty of these (just bought a ton, actually)
1) Would you like any of Cat Coven's Halloween goods? It's her original artwork based on medieval art. (It's a limited edition of everything, so hopefully things arent sold out yet.)
Oh, all of her work is lovely! I would be happy to have any of her prints, though I will admit that I prefer the black-and-white ones more than the colorful ones.
2) Look at The Green Salmon's webpage The Green Salmon - do you fancy any of the teas, coffees etc? It's a favorite place for me to stop on the coast, and I'll take any excuse to drive to the ocean.
I love coffee! So any of that, though stay away from any of the ones with hemp, as it's illegal here in Japan. As for tea, the Persian Mint sounds lovely.
3) What are your favorite halloween/samhain treats to eat? Please be specific. I have access to various candy stores, including healthy candy lol.
My two favorite candies are Sweetarts and Reese's. I also love any chocolate-caramel combination, and I'm a dark chocolate person usually.
Would you like any of these Snag Halloween tights? And if so, which of their sizes?
https://snagtights.com/pages/halloween
These are so cute?????????? It looks like I would be a size D. Toadstool is my favorite, but it looks like that one is sold out, so I'd probably go for Death's Head Moth or Grimoire!
What Halloween things off RedBubble do you like? Share link if possible.
Oh goodness, so many precious things! I love a lot of the stickers, like this:
https://www.redbubble.com/i/sticker/Pumpkin-Spice-by-CharlotteRCraft/57769936.EJUG5
https://www.redbubble.com/i/sticker/Just-one-more-chapter-skeleton-by-fruitpetunia/126840460.EJUG5
https://www.redbubble.com/i/sticker/Ghost-Portrait-Sticker-Set-by-katherineblower/58287725.EJUG5
And for bigger things, I absolutely love the shirts/sweatshirts from this artist: https://www.redbubble.com/people/katherineblower/shop
Actually, I'm obsessed with that artist ^ and would love any of her stuff (prints, buttons, stickers, shirts, whatever)
Also is there anything you would particularly like from the UK? I know there are things but I cant think of what they ARE brainfog is EVIl that way
I love jaffa cakes! I don't really know much else about things from the UK tbh
Is there anything you might want from Japan? Snacks (autumn flavors are out~), nerdy stuff, cute stuff anything!
No, because I also live there ?
is there anything being removed from site or a virtual con scent you are interested in trying?
I have no idea what's coming down from the site soon! None of the virtual con scents really speak to me, though. Dragon's blood is one of my no-no scents.
Being an Australian witchy type, I was wondering whether Tim Tams in any incarnation would tempt my witchee. On the less sweet side, is there any other Australian things you might be tempted by.
Oh goodness, my partner just came to visit from Australia, so I'm up to my neck in Tim Tams. I'm not sure what other Australian things exist tbh! Though apparently you guys have fantastic gin.
-Do you enjoy fanfic? I would be happy to write something for you, and/or read/comment upon/gush over thing(s) you've written, if that's something you'd enjoy...
I'm off and on with fanfic, so this wouldn't really be my thing.
-Would you appreciate rare TAL decant(s) in 1 mL amber roll-on bottle(s)?
Sure! I don't know much about the TAL side of BPAL, but I do use oils for atmospheric and/or ritual purposes.
Question: How do you feel about enamel pens? If positively, which fandoms or topics would you like?
I have a bunch in my Etsy account, but anything witchy, spoopy (think Beetlejuice, Hocus Pocus), cat-related, artsy, witty, or glow in the dark.
I love pins! I love general spooky stuff (the witchy one you linked was gorgeous), gay stuff, rope/shibari-related stuff, and book-related stuff. If it's book-related, I love general book/reading stuff, plus things that are specific to certain books that I like (Fourth Wing, The Starless Sea, Six of Crows, and any Sarah J. Maas books)
If so tell me what length, what color(s) and if you want one for a pony tail or two for pig tails.
This is, unfortunately, not for me. I don't do much with my hair, and if something touches my neck I'm completely out of my mind thinking it's a bug.
-During my recent travels I got to experience the incredible delight of Serge Luten perfumers here in Paris (imagine if the Lab and Anna Sui made babies inside a Cadbury Cream Egg decorated with stained glass windows and...you've come close to the experience of being in that shop). Anyway, after spending gobs of monies, they loaded me up with delectable samples of their insanely expensive wares- do you want some???
Sure! I love all things smell-good, and you've made their stuff sound amazing!
-Haus Of Gloi just had their Halloween update! Anything appeal to you? https://www.hausofgloi.com/collections/fall-1
Their Sugar Exfoliants, Bubbling Scrubs, or Pumpkin Butters in Hex, Little Hedgehog, or Spider Silk look really nice! The only one I would wear as a perfume would be Spider Silk, I think.
Not seasonal aka witchoweeny
These are cute! I love the lavender one, and my favorite flower is irises, but I'm a flower person, so I love them all. I also love their fountain pen enamel pin, too.
Aiee I am putting this out there: I have about a dozen pipettes and vials and will decant from my fabulous collection of scents for your witchee.
I guess that means feel free to peruse my scent base profile {also in sig line} and update your wishlist for your Witcher--is there anything you see that you would love to try or sniff or something?
That’s so nice! I’ll have a look at your scent base profile and let you know when I’m assigned my Witchee!
yet another Q... while thinking of stuff I might want from UK I was reminded of Future Primitive Soaps which has released it's fall stuff. Would you like anything from there dearest witchee? https://futureprimitivesoap.co.uk
I’ve tried their North Woods soap and their Ghost Smoke lotion before and enjoyed them! I love the sound of their Campfire Marshmallow body cream. Outside of the fall collection, I like the sound of Topiary and Snow or She’s in the Orangery soaps.
I harvested some elderberries yesterday and I have a lot more out there, so I made a batch of elderberry syrup. Would you appreciate a 4oz bottle of it?
(Based on the recipe at https://www.thespruceeats.com/elderberry-syrup-4845433 but I did not have any cloves, and I added a half cup of sugar to reduce tartness and increase syrupyness - it's still fairly thin.)
I love syrups! I use them a lot in teas and mixing with wine or tonic water, so this sounds nice.
Do you want anything from Sea Witch Botanicals (I can buy it locally from shops)? super high quality and no bad or artificial ingredients, perfect for people like me - Home, bath, body - FYI, also she makes premium incense as close to Fred Soll without being FredSoll. https://seawitchbotanicals.com/?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIp8ew09yPgQMVCw-tBh2g1Q5NEAAYASAAEgJIhPD_BwE
Incense has been irritating my nose and throat recently, so probably for the best not to have any. I love the sound of their White Lodge or Frith scents, but it looks like the first one is sold out online.
- I discovered Hirons Drug Store - which is basically an Unbelievable place to browse for every kind of eclectic, fun, spooky, weird, and even useful thing you could want - so tell me some Odds And Ends of things you like or want, I know this is open ended, sorry - - gadgetry, stickers, toys, pens, costumery, snacks, decoration, kitchen stuff, etc
I have no idea what this place is! I do like stickers, pins, and pens, though.
- Gift Certificates you'd like to places that are local to you?
I live in Japan, so it might be a bit hard to do that, but I love online gift cards ?
- How do you feel about ILNP nail polish and what are your favs from the new Cosmos collection and any others on their site??
I love anything from their Purple Essentials or Cosmos Collection!
Would you be interested in anything from Alobudra? https://alobudrallc.company.site/products/
They're local to me.
Their bath salts seem nice!
Brujitas! I made my semi annual order from Brujita Skincare and realized I forgot something which means I will be making another order. Currently everything shows as sold out because they frequently close their doors between updates. FYI the In Your Room collection was restocked and won't come back and sadly the same maybe said for the Inner Child Ritual Candle {which I should have ordered but I was on my phone and there for a purpose so didn't look around}. Would you like to try their wares?
Their Hydration Kit and Clarifying Kit look nice! But I'm mostly interested in eye cream as far as cosmetics go, so their Eye Crema interests me
Would you be interested in any jewelry or other items made with tiny bones from this shop? There are some Halloween themed ones: https://www.tinybonesandthings.com/s/shop
This is right up my alley! I find these pieces particularly lovely:
https://www.tinybonesandthings.com/product/gold-hands-stars-and-rattlesnake-vertebrae/538?cp=true&sa=true&sbp=false&q=false
https://www.tinybonesandthings.com/product/gold-hammered-earrings-with-rabbit-atlas-bones/525?cp=true&sa=true&sbp=false&q=false

If you like tea, is there anything you would like from Bird & Blend? https://www.birdandblendtea.com/
I love the sound of these teas!
https://www.birdandblendtea.com/products/spiced-pumpkin-pie-tea?variant=37506762735777
https://www.birdandblendtea.com/products/toffee-sticky-chai

https://www.birdandblendtea.com/products/red-velvet-tea?variant=37506753593505
Witchie! check out BloomChic - just discovered them - Take a look at the Halloween stuff (Plus Sizes too), and tell me the link and the size of whatever thing you like!
Most of this isn't my style, unfortunately. But I like this sweater: https://bloomchic.com/collections/halloween/products/supersoft-essentials-halloween-print-crew-neck-raglan-sleeve-pullover . My size would be 12/L, so that size or larger would be good!
2nd Question: Poesie Tea! Do you like? Some of my favorites are from this company. https://www.poesieperfume.com/loose-leaf-tea
These teas sound lovely:
https://www.poesieperfume.com/loose-leaf-tea-products/fancy-a-cuppa
https://www.poesieperfume.com/loose-leaf-tea-products/almond-cinnamon-brioche-small-batch-loose-leaf-tea
https://www.poesieperfume.com/loose-leaf-tea-products/smore-tea
https://www.poesieperfume.com/loose-leaf-tea-products/twice-to-tea-loose-leaf
Would you like anything from Trader Joe's? (Pumpkin products are, sadly, not in stores yet, but they will be during this round!)
I've never been to a Trader Joe's, so I have no idea what sort of things they have!
Do you have any Halloween traditions?
I go to Halloween-themed afternoon teas with @coltostallion ?
What about Halloween-related fandoms? (ie. The Nightmare Before Christmas)
Nope! I'm not a part of any particular fandoms tbh
We always end up asking what we'd like from your exotic-to-us locales, but do you have any wishes for things from the States?
I LOVE sweetarts. I'm disgustingly addicted and miss them very much. I also love Reese's. I might come back to this question if I think of anything else.
1. I make things from thrifted sweaters that I cut up & make things from. Do you like armwarmers? Long or short? Solid color ( elegant) or funky stripes made from multiple sweaters? Fave colors? Is cashmere okay? Wool & related blends? ( I never use scratchy wool for arm warmers.) Do you like buttons used decoratively?
I don't use armwarmers!
2. I also do coiled & sewn rope work- it's functional art I wrap the rope in fabric & add appliques. I just had my first art show with these- bowls, trivets ( that can hang on the wall when not in use), coasters.
Is this something you'd like ? What sort of Halloween fabric? Whimsical? Witchy, bats, mushrooms, moths? How gothy do you like? I have velvets & sparkly stuff to work with too. What is your preference witchee?
I don't usually hang art or have space for decorative items like bowls (Japanese apartments have very limited space), and I don't even own a table, so coasters would be wasted on me.
How do you feel about cherry things? Check out Cherry Republic and let me know if anything catches your eye!
I LOVE cherry-flavored things. I think I forgot to put that in my questionnaire. So anything from here would appeal to me, especially condiments (jam, salsa, sauces, etc.) and the dark chocolate covered cherries.
Similarly, are you into fancy flavors of olive oil or vinegar? Check out Fustini's and let me know if anything appeals!
I'm also a huge slut for vinegar. So literally all of these except for the apple ones (apple cider is great, though).
We also have an awesome store for jams and sauce, American Spoon which you should totally check out!
I love jams and sauces! Jams, sauces, salsas, honey, etc. So, yeah, literally all of these except for the apple ones.
Would you like some locally sourced maple syrup?
Maple syrup is super expensive here, so this would also be nice. And I love buying locally.
Finally, I live in a place known for fudge. Do you like it and/or are their flavors you particularly like? My favorite shop is Murdick's if you need to see a flavor list.
The chocolate cherry, triple chocolate espresso, and chocolate peanut butter sound lovely!
Anything from the IKEA Halloween store catch your witchy eye? https://www.ikea.com/ca/en/campaigns/halloween/
The little ghost blanket is so cute! I also like the tree lamp.
https://wildsoulriver.com I own the Magical Nature Tarot and love the feel of the cards. They have candles and teas and tinctures and books of the activist or witchy sort. I meant to ask this last night but I kept refreshing for witchee. I don't think my witchee will be all over anything here but I figure somebody else may and I haven't seen it mentioned before....
The Mushroom Oracle looks nice!
Since I was thinking of their kitchari spice mix I was thinking also of spices in general. I live near a Penzey's Spice https://www.penzeys.com do you cook? Do you want fancy schmancy spices or spice blends? Do you have a favorite alternative source that you prefer and or recommend? For example egads I am asking lots of Qs Curio Spice Co, Diaspora etc do ethically sourced spices. If you cook is there a type of cuisine you are interested in learning more about and would appreciate a starter pack of spices for that type of cooking?
I will use any and all spices! Especially spice blends. I really enjoy cooking, but I cook a wide variety of things, so nothing in particular is something I need to expand my cooking knowledge.
Colourpop's Haunted Mansion collection dropped today.
If you're interested in makeup or skin care, are you interested in anything from Colourpop?
https://colourpop.com/
Their welcome foolish mortals from the haunted mansion collection looks lovely!
Otherwise, I really love their eyeshadow palettes, particularly anything in pinks, nudes, corals/peaches, mauves. I'll link some that are my type of colors:
https://colourpop.com/products/miss-bliss-pinky-coral-shadow-palette
https://colourpop.com/products/nude-attitude-pressed-powder-palette-set
https://colourpop.com/products/blush-crush-pink-eyeshadow-palette
https://colourpop.com/products/coast-to-coral-makeup-palette
Other than that, I love their lip glosses, lip oils, and ultra blotted lips and tend to lean toward warmer colors and pinks in lip colors!
Anything of interest from Cellar Door? (They have candles and soaps.)
From their Halloween Collection, I like the sound of their Haunted Woods, Michigan Moonglow, and Farmhouse Pumpkin (soaps and candles), and from their other collections I like their Cypress Grove, Tahquamenon Woods, and Golden Hour (soaps and candles)
Are you into wax melts, candles, incense, room sprays, or none of the above?
I love wax melts and candles. Incense is rough on my nose and lungs recently, so I'd rather not.
Would you like anything from Luvmilk's Monster Mash?
I like the sound of their Milk Baths, Bath Salts, and Sugar Scrubs in Werewolf (w/ Girlfriend or Lover add-on) or Zombie (w/ same add-on)
I dye yarn. Are you a person who crafts with such? What fiber, weights, and colors would tickle your fancy? Would you rather have two different 100g skeins or enough of the same something for a bigger project?
I don't really use yarn for anything!
Provided my experiments work, would you be interested in a bar of homemade tallow soap? I promise I will not send you anything particularly suspect, so this is entirely contingent upon my competence.
Sure! Handmade things are cool!
Do homemade caramels or shortbread tickle your fancy?
Yes! I love food ?
because I’m a knitting kind of witch, would you appreciate a pair of hand knit socks. If yes, would you like them in a particular colour?
I'm a texture person, so if they're scratchy at all, I cannot handle it. But if they're soft, yes! I love greens, pinks, and purples, but I don't enjoy anything too bright like neons.
What type of spooky season imagery do you like? (Ie. bats, ghosts, vintage Halloween, etc.)
I would say I'm more of a vintage person, but I enjoy most Halloween-y subject matter except for spiders
Astrid's Autumn Line and Anniversary Tea Party just dropped. Anything you want?
From the Autumn Line I like the sound of Hush and maybe Forestsong! From Anniversary Tea Party I might like Boysenberry & Pear Tart, though I'm not much of a foodie wearer.
My more popular ones are Penuche, Choc & PB, Pumpkin pie, Forest fruit (with cherries, blueberries and cranberries), Vegan chocolate
dried italian plums (pitted)
sugar-free canned plum or logan berry jam
freshly dried rosemary, thyme, basil, parsley individually or in combo
almond flour baked goods (low carb, sugar free, and gluten free) - give me examples of savory and sweet things you'd like
I like the idea of the candied nuts, fudge (all flavors), and the jams (though these will be super heavy to send overseas)
Might you like a witch hat? Later this month I'm taking a class at an area museum where I'm supposed to decorate 2 hats. Also I crochet wicked cute witchy hats.
I never wear hats, unfortunately.
Do you see anything here that interests you? They have dry shampoos, whipped soaps, awesome hand cream, linen spray, sugar scrubs and perfume. https://www.etsy.com/shop/faefragrance/?etsrc=sdt
The handcream or body scrub in Sea Witch sounds nice!
Anything you want from my favorite local tea shop? www.fridaytea.com
Their Choco Cherry or Good Queen Mallow teas sound nice!
How about from my skincare person? drjensbeautylab.com/
Maybe their No Baggage eye gel?
How about from my witchy Chandler? https://www.etsy.com/shop/TeresaLynnsSimpleLux
I like the sound of most of their candles tbh!
Sure! Nothing apple-scented for me, though.
I've got plenty of herbs!
I also make salves! My go to in an arnica, calendula and comfrey mix for healing wounds or chapped skin. This can also be used on pet paws. We do have barely enough time that I could do a custom infusion.
My hands get incredibly dry and chapped in the winter, so sure!
Anything in the Paintbox Soapworks Halloween update looking good to you? https://paintboxsoapworks.com/new-limited-edition/2023-weenie-collection/
Their Nightwalker scent sounds lovely! I don't really like the consistency of their lotions, but any of their other products are nice!
If you have a furry friend living with you, what sort of treats do they like?
I don't!
What is your feelings on seasonal mugs? Yes or, no? Too many in your house or bring them on??
I actually love mugs. I have a few winter/Christmas ones, but nothing autumn/Halloween themed!
Are your wishlists - Amazon, Etsy, etc - up to date, and if so, are they all linked somewhere that I can find them?
Yes, they're largely up to date!
https://www.etsy.com/people/giy3kiya?ref=hdr-fav&tab=items
https://www.amazon.co.jp/-/en/hz/wishlist/ls/2OAK4S18R6BWX?ref_=list_d_wl_lfu_nav_1
Do you have anything you use every day that you wouldnt mind getting more of?
Probably little individual coffee filters like this: https://www.amazon.co.jp/-/en/Daiki-Coffee-Filter-Pachit-Pieces/dp/B09JVR4GTL?pd_rd_w=JZmql&content-id=amzn1.sym.0364971b-42fa-4907-ae3b-95519eb72dca&pf_rd_p=0364971b-42fa-4907-ae3b-95519eb72dca&pf_rd_r=0GH650WERNZP55N2Q7VJ&pd_rd_wg=9Cn5H&pd_rd_r=8778088f-259f-4047-a357-e1a5b3a19205&pd_rd_i=B09JVR4GTL&ref_=pd_bap_d_grid_rp_0_9_i&th=1
Anything you love or need to have from Adagio or Rishi teas?
I do enjoy tea, but nothing in particular stands out from these!
List here things you wish you would've added to your questionnaire
I don't think I mentioned it, but I do not like white chocolate.
Nocturne Alchemy just dropped their Halloween update! You like the looks of anything? https://nocturnealchemy.com/collections/limited-collection
Nothing in particular!
Is there anything you would like from the Weenie update?
I like the sound of Things Are Fine and Halfway to Halloween!
How do you feel about stickers? If positively, are there any themes you'd rather not have stickers of?
I have sticker anxiety! So, I like them, but I don't usually put them on things.
What about crystals, cool rocks, and gemstones?
I have so many, so unless they're part of jewelry, I don't need anymore!
How do you feel about Squishmallows and Squishables? (They have mini and micro sizes for those who like cute plushies but don't have a lot of space.)
I'm not much of a stuffie person
Would you wear enamel pins with chains that are meant to be put on lapels? (Something like this.)
Probably not! I don't wear a lot of collared shirts
Speaking of enamel pins... The Pickety Witch's Autumn and Halloween collection just dropped. Has anything caught your eye?
Oh, how cute! I like the Baba Pumpkin, Potion of Halloween, and Mabon Owl or Mabon Raven pins!
I used to make mobiles out of paper cranes, would you appreciate something like this? if so, what size restrictions do you have, if any? ie., should it take up less space vertically or horizontally? color palette preference?
I've made similar things for myself before, so I'm good on this
ordering bulbs from https://oldhousegardens.com and was wondering if my witchee would like some.
No, thank you! They'll be taken away by customs
No, thank you!
Witchee, what's your take on seasonal-themed Washi tape?
I have access to so much washi tape, so I don't need anymore even though I think it's cute.
What about seasonal treats from Trader Joe's?
Nothing in particular, but if it fits into my taste/flavor profile, then it's welcome!
I make gluten-free biscotti this time of year, lemon and also cocoa varieties: does this sound good to you?
Sure! I can't say I've ever had biscotti
Would you like me to make a music mix for you? I kick it old school with a burned CD. If you're into this, name at least 3 to 5 genres of music you already love, or are interested to explore more of!
No, thank you!
Anything here you like? https://bserway.com/
Oh wow, his stuff is so cool! I love a ton of the prints like Ghost Me Harder or Featherweight, but what would interest me the most would be a Tattoo Token ? actually, I think I have a tattoo token from him in my etsy wishlist
Anything you'd like from my Ren Fest? There is an outstanding garlic based shop I'll be going to next weekend, for my annual stock up of their spice blends & garlic oil blends. Any other Renny stuff that you like?
I haven't been to a Ren Fest in years, but I do love garlic!
know we are looking at a lot of candles, but if you are into looking at more (and it is ok to say you are not), do any of these strike your fancy?
https://www.lakewoodwax.com/candlesforacause
(Feel free to take a look at their current and signature scents too but I wanted to highlight these fundraiser scents first!)
the jaguar and heaven scent both sound nice!
If you are a person who appreciates tarot and oracle decks, do you have a strong preference about receiving new ones vs gently/barely used?
No preference!
Are you a Studio Ghibli fan, and if so, what are your feelings about fan made art featuring characters?
I love Ghibli, but I live in the land of Ghibli, so I'm not in need of anything based around those movies
Want anything from LUSH? Here's the link specifically to their Halloween drop (https://www.lush.com/us/en_us/c/halloween) BUT, feel free to peruse all of it.
I've already bought all the Halloween things I need from Lush!
Part 2 of the Autumnal/Halloween drop from Haus of Gloi is coming this weekend- take a look and see if anything is compelling! https://www.hausofgloi.com (fall part 2 is live on Sunday, here is a list of what is coming: https://www.hausofgloi.com/blogs/haus-herald/fall-part-2)
Nothing in particular here!
Also, I live in Philly and will use ANY reason to spend time at the Mütter Museum- anything of interest (including, but not limited to, the well-loved BPAL exclusive for the museum, Ü?) https://www.muttermuseumstore.org
No, thank you!
If you are so inclined, do you want or need any natural items or ingredients for spellwork that could be collected from forests, ocean, fields or stream? I also have access to oak gall ink and various other esoteric substances.
No, thank you!
Are you a fan of the show Cobra Kai?
Nope! I've never seen it.
Do you enjoy any of the scented items from Victoria's Secret?
Not usually!
Would you be interested in receiving a silver locket with papyrus and herbs inside, as a protective amulet?
This sounds really nice, but I probably wouldn't use/wear it.
I would say yes, but I think customs would have a fit over it ?
Witchee, do you like anything from Lenny Mud?
I love their Take My Soul Satan book vase, but that would be exceptionally heavy to ship ?
8/29
would you like a scarf? If so, colors, length, iwide or skinny? Bulky yarn or thin and slinky??
I have a metric fuck-ton of scarves! That said, I am open to more knitted goodies, but I'm not as open to all possibilities as in the past. So I'm mostly interested in thin, soft, spider-web-like shawls - like over-sized Stevie Nicks shrouds that I can wrap my entire torso up in, but suuuuuuper thin and open-knit, really, as much like a spider web as possible. Alternately, I'd love a cowl hood. Same deal- soft, thin, open-knit. No wool, as I'm sadly allergic. But bamboo, silk, banana silk, cotton and other natural fibers are all welcome. As for colors, black, dark indigo to match my hair or deep violet would all be fabulous.
How about some dishcloths, for the kitchen? Or spa cloths for the bathroom? If so, which? Any particular colors?? The only dishcloths in our house are Halloween-themed. So, the short answer is ok- but they must be Weenie in nature! I guess that means with bats or black cats or ghosts (this could be the shape of the cloths or a pattern in the cloths). Not a spa cloth, I never seem to use them, alas!
Would you like any of Cat Coven's Halloween goods? It's her original artwork based on medieval art. (It's a limited edition of everything, so hopefully things arent sold out yet.)
The Autumn Garden Party fine art print is lovely!
Look at The Green Salmon's webpage The Green Salmon - do you fancy any of the teas, coffees etc? It's a favorite place for me to stop on the coast, and I'll take any excuse to drive to the ocean. The hemp oil infused decaf peruvian coffee looks HolyShitAmazing. I'd take that in whole bean, please! Also the Na na na na Bat Blend! is cute and supports a great cause, so I'm down for that one too
What are your favorite halloween/samhain treats to eat? Please be specific. I have access to various candy stores, including healthy candy lol. I don't like a ton of candy anymore, but if you're twisting my arm, I tend to like the Brit stuff, like Cadbury Fruit n Nut bars and Crunchie bars. Speaking of Crunchie, I also like well-made chocolate-covered seafoam, but be sure to check the ingredients- well-made will be naturally gluten free, but shittier kinds aren't always. Oh! And during my travels this summer, I've discovered that GOOD meringue *actually* has a flavor, and it tastes great! (who knew???) and ditto for French and Italian-made nougat. I'm not as much of a snob as this whole answer makes me sound, I just get sick from food so easily and it's only that I've had to choose higher-quality items to actually be able to enjoy them.
Would you like any of these Snag Halloween tights? And if so, which of their sizes?
https://snagtights.com/pages/halloween Heck yes! I appear to wear size A/B, and I like Polka Baby, Blood Red, Spider Sense, Lux Carnelian, RATZ and Duo Boo.
Also is there anything you would particularly like from the UK? I will ALWAYS take gluten free crumpets (be warned- if you get these for me, you have to ship them immediately so I can get them in the freezer before they start to mold (mould). Anyone who has ever sent them to me has gotten them to me in time, I'm just saying: don't buy them now then leave them in a box til end of October to ship- they won't keep that long I also love gluten free Jaffa Cakes! And PG Tips tea. A new tiny jar of Marmite. Really good orange marmalade.

Is there anything you might want from Japan? Snacks (autumn flavors are out~), nerdy stuff, cute stuff anything! OMG, if there are ANY gluten free Kit Kats, I would DIE for those! ANY flavor!!! I never, ever get to experience that joy, so it would be amazing. Otherwise, any interesting gluten-free, shrimp-free, MSG-free autumnal food goodies would be delightful!
is there anything being removed from site or a virtual con scent you are interested in trying? I picked up the most important Virtual Con scents for myself. That said, there were others I really wanted, but didn't have funds for. Those are: Lemon Peel, White Peach and White Musk; Peach and Kumquat; and the 3 Survival Kit scents that are NOT Unclench, as I got that for myself.
9/1
I was wondering whether Tim Tams in any incarnation would tempt my witchee. On the less sweet side, is there any other Australian things you might be tempted by. If such a thing as gluten free Tim Tams exist, I'm all over that!
Do you enjoy fanfic? I would be happy to write something for you, and/or read/comment upon/gush over thing(s) you've written, if that's something you'd enjoy... You know, I never got into fanfic too much. HOWEVER, I *am*, forever, a Buffy fan and it would be so satisfying to see a plot where Tara comes back to life / back from the dead and is able to reunite with Willow. I always hated that they killed off Tara and it was adding insult to injury that Willow's next girlfriend was someone as annoying and crappy as Kennedy.
Would you appreciate rare TAL decant(s) in 1 mL amber roll-on bottle(s)? It would honestly depend on which TAL we're talking about, cause I've got about 30 of them, so I'd need to know something more specific.
How do you feel about enamel pens? If positively, which fandoms or topics would you like? Is this supposed to say pins? Or are there enamel PENS I know nothing about? I'm not being a jerk- I really am just making sure! The only enamel pins I really get into are Disney pins. The licensed ones with the Mickey pin backs that folks like me collect and trade at Pin Trader Stations in Disney Parks and resorts. If you have ANY of those, I will happily take them off your hands- I will either love them or I can trade them, which is great too! (I specifically collect Oswald The Lucky Rabbit, if you happen to find any of those!)
Not seasonal aka witchoweeny
---> I like the "paint water" and "not paint water" pins, especially the idea of them as a set. I didn't see any, but if there's one for foxglove, I'd be into that, too.
Future Primitive: Ya know, I don't especially need any of the autumnal offerings per se, but the A Quiet Mind Luxury Bath Milk in that beautiful brown apothecary jar is *right* up my alley.
Ketchup Added 11 September:
I harvested some elderberries yesterday and I have a lot more out there, so I made a batch of elderberry syrup. Would you appreciate a 4oz bottle of it?
—> Oh yes please! My one request is that it be in a glass (not plastic) bottle- thank you!
Do you want anything from Sea Witch Botanicals (I can buy it locally from shops)?
—>Mabon and Samhain incenses both look rather intriguing!
Hirons Drug Store - which is basically an Unbelievable place to browse for every kind of eclectic, fun, spooky, weird, and even useful thing you could want - so tell me some Odds And Ends of things you like or want, I know this is open ended, sorry - - gadgetry, stickers, toys, pens, costumery, snacks, decoration, kitchen stuff, etc
—>I tried to look online without any success, unfortunately, so I can only reiterate the things I’ve listed elsewhere, that I like olde-timey Halloween decor, especially black cats followed by bats. And I could use a garlic peeler. Also, I would love some thigh-high polka-dot socks (white dots on black is preferable.)
Gift Certificates you'd like to places that are local to you?
—> Giovanni’s Room (I’ve no idea if they even offer gift certificates but what the hell). Free People. The Artist and Craftsman Philadelphia. Essene Natural Market. Dope Botanicals.
How do you feel about ILNP nail polish and what are your favs from the new Cosmos collection and any others on their site??
—> Dark Matter followed by Orbit are both gorgeous. I also really like Autumn from the Harvest collection. I’ve never worn any of their products before but they look just lovely!
Would you be interested in anything from Alobudra? https://alobudrallc.company.site/products/
———> The site seems to be mostly down and several of the few things that *are* listed are sold out. If you want me to swing back when they’ve worked out the bugs, I can do that.
are there any more “traditional” Japanese souvenirs you’d like to have (think chopsticks, tenugui, washi paper, etc.)?
—-> Chopsticks are always fun, and our are all getting quite old and gnarly, so that would be a welcome gift indeed! I also like the little bowls that have cats or koi painted into the bottoms of them.
9/4
Would you like to try Brujita Skincare ? (Ignore the out of stock except for In Your Room collection and Inner Child Ritual candle.)
—> the Sandalwood Hydrosol looks lovely.
Would you be interested in any jewelry or other items made with tiny bones from this shop? There are some Halloween themed ones: https://www.tinybonesandthings.com/s/shop
——>although I love bones, none of these designs really spoke to me, alas
If you like tea, is there anything you would like from Bird & Blend? https://www.birdandblendtea.com/
——> ALWAYS! I especially enjoy their sticky chais and their halloween themed chais (sticky and standard) all look especially compelling this year, like the Dark Chos Chili Chai and the Rose and Cardamom Chai.
9/5
BloomChic - just discovered them - Take a look at the Halloween stuff, and tell me the link and the size of whatever thing you like!
—> Not my size range, but their stuff is super cute!
Poesie Tea! Do you like? Some of my favorites are from this company. https://www.poesieperfume.com/loose-leaf-tea
——> I’ve never had any, so probably their Sampler Set would be the way to go to get me started! I like the looks of the following: London Smoke and Fog; Relevé; Royal Wedding; Osborne House; Palace Chai.
9/6
Would you like anything from Trader Joe's? (Pumpkin products are, sadly, not in stores yet, but they will be during this round!)
——> Anything I love from TJ’s I’m likely to pick up for myself
Do you have any Halloween traditions?
——> We like to decorate inside and out. This is the first time in several years that we’re living in a private house so we plan to do a nice display outside for the trick or treaters. Late in the evening, we always do a proper Samhain ritual. I typically makes little cakes and we write down all the past hardships we want to let go of and then we burn them.
What about Halloween-related fandoms? (ie. The Nightmare Before Christmas)
——> LOVE NMBC! Also love the original Dark Shadows series, the Crow, Corpse Bride and Donnie Darko. We watch all the above during the Halloween season. Also, of course there’s Buffy
non-U.S folks!!! We always end up asking what we'd like from your exotic-to-us locales, but do you have any wishes for things from the States?
——> I live in Philly, this clearly doesn’t apply to me
I make things from thrifted sweaters that I cut up & make things from. Do you like armwarmers?
——> I still have a pair of arm warmers you made me years ago- I would not object to another pair!
Long or short? Long.
Solid color ( elegant) or funky stripes made from multiple sweaters? Funky stripes sounds like a good addition.
Fave colors? Black. Pumpkin- or Blood- Orange. Dark forest/blue-green
Is cashmere okay? YES PLEASE, I would prefer it!
Wool & related blends? ( I never use scratchy wool for arm warmers.) I have too many wool sensitivities, sadly.
Do you like buttons used decoratively? I do! Ornate buttons can be lovely and I like the charm of using buttons as “eyes” like the arm warmers are Muppet-y snake creatures
I also do coiled & sewn rope work- it's functional art I wrap the rope in fabric & add appliques. I just had my first art show with these- bowls, trivets ( that can hang on the wall when not in use), coasters. Is this something you'd like ?
—>A coaster for one of my tea pots would be nice
What sort of Halloween fabric? Whimsical? Witchy, bats, mushrooms, moths?
——> bats, mushrooms, moths all sound good.
How gothy do you like?
——> ALL the gothy. ALLLLLLLL.
have velvets & sparkly stuff to work with too. What is your preference witchee?
———> velvets are fine, skip sparkles please!
9/7
How do you feel about cherry things? Check out Cherry Republic and let me know if anything catches your eye!
——> How fun! Cherry coffee beans seem intriguing. Tart cherry juice is yummy as is cherry concentrate. Montmorency Nouveau preserves look diabolical! I love chunky cherry jams, so this and the cherry rhubarb both peak deep interest for me!
Similarly, are you into fancy flavors of olive oil or vinegar? Check out Fustini's and let me know if anything appeals!
——> so many fancy vinegars! Balsalmics in: Chocolate; Asian Blackberry; Cara-Cara Vanilla; Raspberry and Black Truffle. Garlic Olive Oil and White Truffle Olive Oil.
We also have an awesome store for jams and sauce, American Spoon which you should totally check out!
——> Spiced Pear Conserve; Honeycrisp Apple Conserve; Sour Cherry Preserves for Ann Patchett; Cherry Peach Salsa.
Would you like some locally sourced maple syrup?
——> Always. The darker the better!
Finally, I live in a place known for fudge. Do you like it and/or are their flavors you particularly like? My favorite shop is Murdick's if you need to see a flavor list.
—> No fudge for me, thanks!
Anything from the IKEA Halloween store catch your witchy eye? https://www.ikea.com/ca/en/campaigns/halloween/
———> the black and white striped KUSTFYR pillow looks so fun!
Updated 9-1-23
Would you like any of the following? (Maybe just remove the things you aren't interested in?): Consider them removed. I am SUPER interested in mead of all sorts.
Thunder Butter? (like icy hot but made with herbs, beeswax, menthol, wintergreen, cayenne. Spot test so it doesn't burn your skin.)
I can do colorwork hats or cowls with skulls, bats, pumpkins, ghosts...
Yarn preference? (merino wool, merino cashmere, merino silk, merino silk cashmere, acrylic, sparkles or no sparkles, etc.
Shawlette and fingerless mitts would get the most use - not picky about yarn, so long as it's soft. Sparkly is a bonus.
Washcloths would be cool. My kiddo might want a tarot card back with a cat theme.
Or maybe a gknitted Gnome? Or bat? Ghost? Black Cat? Voodoo doll? Monster? Or something else spooky? I have lots of patterns. Here is an example I did for the Gnome swap.
I love my collection of handcrafted critters from my BPAListas, so YES.
Pretty much any of my favorite colors in my survey - I definitely prefer patterns to solids. Flamboyance is kinda a personality trait over here.
I love the one I have, but I'm good! I mean, I'll ALWAYS take cool tote bags, though.
LUSH's Halloween collection drops 8/31. I will be making an order. Can I pick up something for you?
I am not a huge Lushy, but I do like their bath washes if there's something in my scent profile. I know there's a clovey one that I've liked in the past.
Which Surprise Items that will be at Dragoncon might you be interested in?
Most of them? Definitely Blackout Blinds and Unclenched. I need some time to digest the Halloweenies.
Would you be interested in dangle earrings or pendants made of dried roses (and other beads)?
Sure!
How do you feel about stuffies that are sewn? Form or fabric preference?
Sure! Bats, cats, spiders, corgis, gargoyles come to mind.
Teeturtle, anything look fun?
I love their Halloween shirts - especially the various cats and bats, but I should note that I have the Pumpkin Spice Unicorn and Candy Corn Bat already and I'm a hard no on the Hogwarts house inspired stuff.
Haus of Gloi's first fall collection has dropped - anything you like? I am aways up for their pumpkin butter and bubbling scrubs in Apple Milk, Blood Orange Marshmallow, Cozy Pumpkin, Golden Corn Cakes, Hex, Kitchen Witch, Little Hedgehog, Pumpkin Eater, Pumpkin Queen, or Red Roan
What about Paintbox Soapworks Fall scents? About the only thing that appeals to me this year is Pokeberry (jam, sorbetto, soap) and maybe Putney Road (sorbetto or soap).
How do you feel about CBD as an ingredient in something? Like a pain relief lotion or lip balm? I'm not opposed to trying it.
I'm getting into bookbinding! Is there a fanfic/book (I can try to get the text block in paperback and rebind it)/out-of-copyright book that you want hardbound all fancy?
If you were somehow able to get your hands on Ray Bradbury's Dark Carnival, I would worship you forever (it's currently $750 on Amazon, so I am not holding my breath).
Cellar Door's seasonal items are out. Anything you need? I would love to try most of these as soaps and would be happy to receive soap ends. The only ones that don't appeal are Haunted Woods, Michigan Moonglow, October Road and Zombie Repellant.
Are you interested in anything from Grounds and Hounds? I'm more of a kittytowncoffee.com kinda sib, but I am always up for pumpkin spice (ground), and damn if the corgi butt and "I'm Spooky without coffee" mugs are not super cute.
Anything from here? The Halloween Collection is adorable. Clothes That Fit - Snag US (snagtights.us) I've always been intrigued by their stuff, but I don't wear skirts and dresses much these days. The bats and the Grimoire and Lux Amethyst look lovely, though. I'd be an E, it looks like.
Moonalisa? lip butter in Black Cat or Goblin Grog?
Homemade/handmade things? So far people have mentioned homemade liqueurs and baked goods, rose beads, birth charts -- what lovely ideas from everyone! I enjoy handmade things a lot and would be thrilled with such gifts this year; this goes especially for non-material items like emails, comments, and information, because I'm planning a move next year. (Also, just in case you have relevant knowledge: my spouse and I are targeting the Seattle area for our next residence, but how do we relocate there without going absolutely broke? Any tips, neighbourhood suggestions, connections, suburban or exurban areas that might have more inexpensive housing, etc., etc...?)
Knitting/cloth? Spa cloths for the bathroom, in watery blue shades, would be lovely, as would a scarf. I tend to prefer thinner yarns to bulkier, and I am participating in Hijab30 next Ramadan, so a thin scarf that could be used as a head wrap would be amazing - the purpler the better.
Cat Coven? The art is excellent, but I already have a lot of pieces in this style, so no thank you.
Green Salmon? Fairy Realms sounds amazing, as does Divinatea if it gets a restock.
Samhain treats? I wish I had specific answers, but most of the seasonal treats out there aren't vegan, so I usually don't participate in the foodie revelry. ? In general, the treat flavours I love are apple, spicy chocolate, horchata, chocolate-peanut-butter, chocolate-coconut, and caramel.
Snag Tights? Amethyst! in size D.
UK things? I have two UK weaknesses: the vesica piscis symbol that one finds everywhere in Glastonbury, and Tan y Castell brand anything. Unfortunately, packaged Welsh cakes and bara brith both contain eggs...but maybe you know of some yummy Welsh baking that's also vegan?
RedBubble? I've had bad luck with items from RedBubble, unfortunately. ?
Japan things? Oh my gosh, food from Japan is always welcome, especially instant things like amazake and miso soup and packaged things like mochi and pickles. Tea ceremony supplies (like matcha and sweets) would also be lovely. Also, cooking chopsticks and simple eating chopsticks - particularly those lacking the paint/enamel stuff that flakes off over time - would be great.
VirtualCon? Vampire Milk, Recovery Room, and Ghost Lily/White Sandalwood/Ambergris all sound pretty.
Moonalisa? Shower gels, soaps, and lip balms all get a lot of use here. Her lavenders and vanillas are particularly wonderful, as are her trees; I tend to avoid her ambers, fruits, and sodas as they go powdery on me.
Australia things? A rock or a bit of earth/soil from Australia would be most welcome, as it's a continent I have yet to set foot on. Also, my spouse and I are planning a trip to Gallipoli in March, so if there's anything you want me to bring to the site, please send it along.
How do you feel about enamel pins? Please see "Enamel pins!" below...
Hair falls? That sounds very cool, as I have never owned or used such a thing! Purple, black, and/or silver as a ponytail would match my existing hair well.
Surge Luten? Neat! Yes, I would try any that you could bear to part with.
Haus of Gloi? None for me, thank you; their scents haven't gone well on my skin in the past.
Enamel pins! Specifically, the Etsy shop with all of the flowers? Yes, please. I normally don't wear enamel pins, but the Gray Muse's creations on Etsy are so gorgeous. I would wear any one of the lilac, jasmine, marigold, or gardenia pins.
Future Primitive? Vegan...bath...milk?!?! :faint: Also, the soaps look amazing, especially the Ghost Smoke, Black Honey, North Woods, and Protection.
Elderberries? Elder is very special to me; not only would I love elderberry syrup, but I have always wanted to make a futhorc rune set from elder wood and would happily take a fallen branch.
Sea Witch Botanicals? Sea Witch is amazing. My favourite incense is Hermitage; I also would love to try the Mabon incense and the Vasheen soap.
Hirons Drug Store? A mood ring or mood jewelry, a rice ball mold, fun stickers for my computer, a pen that writes in several different colours, faerie ears or wings, and snacks.
Gift certificates to local places? Golden Fig Books in Durham, NC.
Alobudra? The Florida waters, the I Am Safe bath, or any stone bracelet except hematite (as we do not get along) - any would be lovely.
Traditional Japanese souvenirs? Yes to all; origami paper and wagashi would be welcome, as well.
Brujita Skincare? The Vegan Crema and Eternal Balm look gorgeous.
ILNP nail polish? Hospital nursing comes with strict nail length guidelines, unfortunately, so I rarely get to use even the lovely polishes I already have. ?
Tiny Bones? No, thank you.
Bird & Blend? The Zodiac Tea Collection cube would be a lot of fun to try!
BloomChic? The Halloween Bat Print Crew Neck Sleep Top (and shorts) - cute! It'd be size 10/M.
Poesie Tea? No thanks!
Trader Joe's? I hear rumour that "pecan pumpkin oatmeal" and "apple cider jam" are things that exist? Both sound delicious.
Halloween traditions? When I still lived in New Orleans, each year I attend(ed) a public Day of the Dead Vodou ceremony and also visited my family cemetery. I still do light ancestor candles and perform a small service at home. And on a lighter note, I always watch The Garfield Halloween Special and sing along with his 'pirate' song...? Sixty men all lost at sea, all of them drunk except for me... ?
Halloween fandoms? I'm quite fond of The Worst Witch, both the original movie (WITH TIM CURRY hahahaha it is amazing) and the Netflix series. I also crave vampire everything around Halloween time, so it's when I tend to pull out my Vampire Chronicles stuff (though I have yet to see the new Interview series).
Thrifted sweater things? I have never had armwarmers before, but I imagine I would like them, if I did! Solid colour, purple, would rather avoid animal-derived fabrics unless they're recycled/vintage/humanely obtained, and buttons are good.
Rope work? Not for me, thank you.
Cherry things? The plain Montmorency dried cherries would be delightful.
Fustini's? ELDERFLOWER BALSAMIC wooooow. Tunisian Harissa olive oil also sounds amazing.
American Spoon? The star thistle honey, rhubarb marmalade, honeycrisp apple conserve, or sour cherry jam would be particularly welcome, but I see nothing on this site that I wouldn't happily devour. Yum!
Local maple syrup? Yes indeed!
Fudge? Aw, if fudge were vegan I would want one of everything from this place - especially as it's on Mackinac Island, home of one of my favourite movies (Somewhere in Time).
IKEA Halloween? I like the LED string lights but can only find them listed in orange (whereas the ones I like are the purple ones in the picture).
Wild Soul River? I appreciate their statement about their crystal origins and would be happy to have one of their fairy stones.
Penzey's? I have been out of saffron for a very long time and would also appreciate their Pacific sea salt.
ColourPop? Any of the chrome liquid shadows (especially Glaze, Same Vibe, Supernova, or Beetle), the Lav Dreams highlighter, or the Purple Aura lip gloss - I like iridescence and sparkles to an extreme degree, haha.
Cellar Door? The soaps here look so pretty! I'm quite curious about Mackinac Island Lilac and Haunted Woods.
Wax melts, candles, etc.? I like unscented candles, incense, and room sprays.
Luvmilk? Not from Monster Mash specifically, but would happily try a bubble wash in Demon Wood, Radiant Kitten, or Sleepy.
Dyed yarn? I don't have crafting skills - unfortunately, because I do treasure hand-dyed things. Maybe you would send a string, or a simple braided strand, that I could use as a deity offering? If you already have woodland-type colours dyed and could spare a bit, that is!
Homemade tallow soap? Not for me, thank you.
Homemade caramels or shortbread? Definitely!
Chocolate? I have always favoured milk or white chocolate, with as much 'stuff' in it as possible; I loved Cadbury's fruit-and-nut bars, for example. It's hard to find vegan variations on those themes, though, so I just have the occasional dark chocolate-chili (another favourite) bar these days.
Mixed media art? Cool! I would enjoy this.
Music? I still own and play CDs in my car, haha! Otherwise, I just make YouTube playlists (username primordialmuse), and yes, I like music recommendations. (I also make playlists to accompany the stories I write, so if you're a fanfic person and want to recommend some fandom/music pairings to me, please do!)
Hand-knit socks? I'd love that. Allll of the purple.
Spooky season imagery? Barn owls and vampires forever. I also like fire images (e.g., crackling fireplaces, torches, candle flames, etc.) and 'cold nature' sort of imagery, like skeletal birch forests and grey overcast skies.
Astrid? I wish her scents worked on me. ?
Homemade and preserved foods? Honestly, every single thing you described sounds amazing. I do prefer to avoid sugar-free variations and just go full-on sugar in my treats; I'd particularly enjoy the chile peppers, vegan fudge (especially if forest fruit could go in there), and freshly-dried herbs individually.
Witch hat? I would rather this go to someone who would use it this year; I'm working around Halloween and rarely go out, so it'd just sit on my shelf, and that'd be a sad waste. ?
Friday Tea? No, thank you.
Dr. Jen's Beauty Lab? The Formulator's Choice unscented serum looks amazing, as does the Coconut Everything body wash.
Teresa Lynn's? A Sleep sniffie would be helpful.
Homemade soap and/or candles? I would welcome a TAL-and-herb candle.
Herbs? An incense-bundle of mugwort would be fantastic.
Salves? Your go-to salve sounds both lovely and useful!
Paintbox Soapworks? Not for me, thanks.
Furry friend? My little Syl loves catnip, soft pounceable toys with no bells or feathers (Dharma Dog Karma Cat is a brand we buy a lot!), and treats, especially Temptations Purrrrée and Greenies.
Seasonal mugs? Too many in my house already, unfortunately.
Wishlists? I only have the one, at Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/27WIKYGMELM09/ref=nav_wishlist_lists_1), and yes, it's up-to-date.
Anything I use every day? Bindis! In fact, I've run out of plain half-moon bindis.
Rishi Tea? I would love to try teasers of Greek Mountain, Butterfly Pea Flower, Hibiscus Elderberry, and/or Red Shiso teas.
Things I wish I'd added to the questionnaire? I should have requested good knee-high compression socks for work. All of the pairs I have are coarse, thin, and not-very-good.
NAlloween? Masquerade Ra, Nefer, and Amar all seem gorgeous. And Zodiac: Scorpio of course!!
Weenie update? Two new perfumes appeal to me: Things Are Fine and A Melancholy of Goths. I am a perennial fan of Sugar Skull, as well.
Stickers? I plaster my computer with them, so I'd like to have more, especially very little ones! I avoid American flags and patriotic stuff, phrases appropriated from AAVE (like "Yas Queen!"), and motivational slogans that either push me (like "keep moving" or "hard work + determination" - I already work too hard!) or that are over-the-top positive (like "SMILE!!!" or "live life happy").
Crystals, cool rocks, and gemstones? ROCKS FRIENDS, as Ludo would say. Send alllllll the rocks my way!
Squishmallows? I am torn. On the one hand, they are adorable, and I've wanted one forever. On the other hand, there really are a metric TON of stuffed animals here. But they have Pusheen! And a beet!
Lapel pin, enamel and chain? What a pretty idea! Yes, I would wear this. The moon-and-star pin from that same Etsy seller is lovely, actually.
The Pickety Witch? The Mabon Owl pin is perfection.
Paper crane mobile? That sounds beautiful, but I'm pretty sure my cat would stop at nothing to catch and tear up the colourful toy.
Old House Gardens? No ability to have a garden here, I'm afraid. Hopefully that'll change after moving next year!
Sock arms? Gorgeous. Would love blues, purples, black.
Washi tape? I think it's so pretty and would definitely use it.
Gluten-free biscotti? Sounds delicious.
Music mix? I love CD music mixes. Industrial, Goth, electronica - would you believe I've never heard some of the iconic music like The Cure and My Chemical Romance?
Bserway? GOD OF RESTLESS MINDS, amazing. The Crone's Seer and Blessings from the Erdtree are also beautiful.
Ren Fest? Garlic is always welcome here. Hmm...I've always wanted a bit of chainmaille jewellery, maybe a necklace or bracelet? I haven't been to a Ren Fest in over a decade, so I'm not sure what to request!
Lakewood Wax? Not for me, thank you.
Revisiting the "wish I'd mentioned this the first time" question: TW for (not currently active) Eating Disorder!
Also, October 20th will be my six-year wedding anniversary! Yay!
Tarot and Oracle Decks? Used versus new makes no difference to me.
Studio Ghibli? The only SG film I've ever seen is Princess Mononoke (which I did enjoy), so before having art, I should probably see more movies!
LUSH? Lord of Misrule soap sounds delicious.
Hand-knitted socks? Would be excellent.
Haus of Gloi? None for me, thanks.
Mütter Museum? Oh, cool! I would use the heck out of a syringe pen and brain sticky notes. I'm definitely curious about the Ü scent, too, but have never tried it and felt wary of buying a blind bottle.
Mother Oak acorns? I would treasure these!
Lenny Mud? Not for me, thanks.
Tea preferences? Green, white, or herbal, with any additives being actual ingredients (e.g., lemon peel rather than 'lemon flavoring'). Green and hojicha teas are my favourite. And yes, I enjoy rooibos, especially since it puts me right to sleep.
Torrid? No thanks - the 'things I like' and the 'sizes that are available' don't seem to match up, unfortunately.
Nail wraps? I actually don't know anything about nail wraps; are they difficult to apply or deal with? If they're pretty easy, then yes, I would be interested. The Atmo and Aurora Borealis wraps are my favourite on that page, and the Fulcrum and Amethyst patterns are also beautiful.
Colouring? I like colouring in principle, but in practice I never actually do it. ?
Winter holiday things? Spouse and I both adore winter. We like to decorate our tiny porch with blue lights and an iridescent snow globe sort of light, and we try to add something wintry and luminous each year; we've been wanting icicle lights for a long time, for example. Mulling spices and all things mulled are also eagerly awaited. Another (weird) holiday tradition I have is eyeing Snow White every time it's released on the BPAL site, not buying it because Need to Buy Xmas Gifts for Everyone, and then pitying myself for not having Snow White. Oh, and if you find juniper syrup anywhere, please send it our way; this household is STILL MAD that Starbucks discontinued the juniper latte.
Halloween Dreams playing cards? No thank you! There are several decks of playing cards here already, and they almost never get used.
Peppers? Always! Peppers are friends.
Dream Skin? I missed this time-sensitive question, which is a shame as the fragrance sounds astonishing, and I would have loved to try it.
Part II of Halloween drop? I admit that Snooty Bat sounds very much worth trying...
First question of the round!!
would you like a scarf? If so, colors, length, iwide or skinny? Bulky yarn or thin and slinky??
Scarves are awesome! I’m a knitter too, so I extra appreciate hand knits made for me. For a scarf, Long and narrow for multiple wrapping options is my favourite, with soft slinky lightweight yarn is a thing of awesomeness. I love all the blacks and charcoals through to mid grey is lovely. Or a deep plum, or like a blue-red lipstick type red would be an equally lovely option.
How about some dishcloths, for the kitchen? Or spa cloths for the bathroom? If so, which? Any particular colors? Spa cloths would work best for me I think. Soft ones for my face, or scrubby ones for my body. So lighter weight for face, or nice scrubby weight for body. And they would be better in lighter colours.
The Green Salmon things all look amazing. I just worry that depending on how they’re packaged, Customs over here might not look favourably on them. I would hate for something amazing sounding be ordered and not have it arrive.
Cat Coven looks awesome. I’m a wee bit obsessed with the I Am Full of Magic print in white.
Halloween treats aren’t super easy to access over here. I hear whispers of intriguing things like hot cider mixes that aren’t stocked here at all. Other than that, pumpkin spice hasn’t come through here either. So anything that runs along that sort of vein without being too sweet sounds super tempting.
Over on Snag Tights they have so many lovelies. In the Halloween section Grimoire, Betelgeuse, Dark Night, Potion, Bone to be Wild, Stitched Up, Fright Night - Blood Red, Caught in my Web, and Never Say Die would all find a very special place in my wardrobe. Being both tall and curvy I would need a Size G
Specifically British things, hmmm I have a feather weird fixation with Chocolate Lime and Rhubarb and Custard hard candies.
Redbubble:
I seriously adore me some Morticia and Gomez. I’ve linked to the shirt, but a sticker or tote bag would equally make my year
https://www.redbubble.com/i/t-shirt/The-lovers-tarot-Addams-family-by-NomiBee/58426803.IJ6L0
Get Kraken is great too. Again, linking to the shirt, but stickers etc are equally great
https://www.redbubble.com/i/t-shirt/Get-Kraken-by-Alrkeaton/12833815.IJ6L0
Japanese things?
I’m planning a raid on an Asian grocery for some fun candy this weekend, but from what I’ve seen so far there’s nothing overtly Autumny/Halloweeny over here, so a basic all the nerdy/geeky/Halloweeny/Autumnal things would be loved!
Ketchup point 1:
Fanfic - not so much.
Dragon Con - Dragon with a Penis Hat, Zombie Milk, Vampire Milk, Sugared Peach and Blackberry Wine, A Timid Twinkling Golden Star, Recovery Room and Blackout Blinds sound most intriguing
Moonalisa:
Lip butters - Absinthe Marshmallow and Black Cat sound lovely
As far as scents go, Bohemian Velvet sounds very me, as does Full Moon. Smoke and Ouija, Wicked Woods, and Witchery sound like they have some serious potential too.
Enamel pins are cool, but I’ve gone a lot crazy with buying them recently meaning I don’t actually have anywhere left to put them.
Haus of Gloi Halloween, Hex, Persephone’s Descent, and Spider Silk sound glorious.
Hair falls sound like fun, but I have horrible visions of my chronically overheating, and massively oversweating head ruining it.
Serge Luten samples, samples in general are always wonderful to have.
I love the floral pins, the lilac one would slot perfectly into my Discworld obsession. I know I said no pins earlier, but if there’s wiggle room for just one, it would be that one.
Future Primitive looks just so lovely.
Owlett’s End, Chocolatier, Shadow Show, and Ghost Smoke soaps both look beautiful, and sound like they would smell even better.
Traditional Japanese anything would be so lovely. I would love to be surprised by something!
Elderberry syrup sounds glorious, but sadly, I must decline. I have a feeling Customs wouldn’t let it through.
Sea Witch Botanticals looks just glorious. Let me sit on it though, I have to be careful with room fragrances because of my pets
Hiram’s drug store sounds like so much fun from the way you describe it. I love the idea of fun stickers, pens and/or snacks though if it’s spooky and fun I would love it
Gift cards to places that are local to me could be doable. Facebook makes most places contactable. So a gift card for my favourite coffee shop, or my favourite florist would be lovely. If you want contact details for them, please ask the Switch Witch to ask me. Or else I’ll come back and add them tomorrow.
I would have to pass on ILNP nail polish, or any nail polish due to my terrible nail biting.
Alobudra looks interesting. I would have to look more closely at the mists because of my animals, but I wouldn’t say no straight out.
Brujita skincare looks intriguing, but I’m really happy with what I already use. Thank you for the suggestion though.
Tiny Bones and Things - the silver wings and rattlesnake necklace is really striking.
Bird and Blend, you say. Tea, along with books, yarn and coffee are my happy places. So you could send me any leaf tea, and I would be a happy witchee ❤️
Bloomchic looks fun.
This is very me https://bloomchic.com/collections/halloween/products/crochet-lace-mesh-bell-sleeve-hanky-hem-t-shirt (in a 2x)
As is this https://bloomchic.com/collections/halloween/products/halloween-skull-print-pocket-arc-hem-dress (in a 2x)
Or this https://bloomchic.com/collections/halloween/products/square-neck-lace-up-knot-bell-sleeve-dress (in a 3x)
Poesie tea would make me happy in any incarnation ❤️
Trader Joes things. Trader Joe things are the things I hear about being awesome, but can’t really access. A bit like Tim Tams for the non Australians. I would love to try some Trader Joe goodies.
No real Halloween traditions here, but would love to find some if you would like to share some with me.
Halloween fandoms, I love Nightmare Before Christmas so much. I also feel like Corpse Bride slots in nicely here too.
I love arm warmers! Long would be awesome. Funky stripes sound like fun, I love the idea of black, charcoal, and greys, with maybe a pop of cherry red in there somewhere? Cashmere would be beautiful, but any natural fibre at all would be wonderful. Buttons would be brilliant too.
I also do coiled & sewn rope work- it's functional art I wrap the rope in fabric & add appliques. I just had my first art show with these- bowls, trivets ( that can hang on the wall when not in use), coasters.
Is this something you'd like ? What sort of Halloween fabric? Whimsical? Witchy, bats, mushro oms, moths? How gothy do you like? I have velvets & sparkly stuff to wo rk with too. W hat is your preference witchee?
This sounds beautiful too! A bowl would be lovely. I love the idea of something soft and black with maybe some bats? It would be the perfect thing to keep in my bedroom for all my little treasures.
How do you feel about cherry things?
Cherries are life! I love cherries in any incarnation.
Similarly, are you into fancy flavors of olive oil or vinegar? Check out Fustini's and let me know if anything appeals!
Fustini’s looks awesome, but I’ve got so much oil and vinegar already that I would have to say no. Thank you for the suggestion though.
We also have an awesome store for jams and sauce, American Spoon which you should totally check out!
The sour cherry preserves and the margarita mix look sooo good.
Would you like some locally sourced maple syrup?
Yes please!
Finally, I live in a place known for fudge. Do you like it and/or are their flavors you particularly like? My favorite shop is Murdick's if you need to see a flavor list.
I find that fudge is too sweet and rich for me. So no thank you.
Anything from the IKEA Halloween store catch your eye?
Not really. All the LED light things look like fun, but unfortunately my cats agree, and hunt them which means chewed wires and no more light.
Wild Soul River isn’t really my thing, but thank you for the link, because I’ve spotted a couple of things that are perfect for another friend of mine, so I’ll pass the link on to them.
Penzey’s
Mural of Flavour, Pasta Sprinkle, Outrage of Love, Hot Chocolate mix, Pico Fruita, and the Choose Love towels and Pet Bandanas are awesome.
Colour Pop?
The Hitch A Ride matte lip looks awesome.
Cellar Door?
The Sex Machine soap sounds lovely.
Luv Milk
Nothing catches my eye.
I dye yarn. Are you a person who crafts with such? What fiber, weights, and colors would tickle your fancy? Would you rather have two different 100g skeins or enough of the same something for a bigger project?
I am! Natural fibre only please - with the obvious exception of a bit of nylon for sock yarn. Which leads to the fact that my preferred yarn weight is 4ply. As for colours, Deep cherry red or other berry type tones, Deep blue, black, charcoal, greys. Any of those, or even a blend of any of the above.
Provided my experiments work, would you be interested in a bar of homemade tallow soap? I would be very interested.
Do homemade caramels or shortbread tickle your fancy?
They do tickle my fancy, but I’m afraid Customs wouldn’t let them through
What are your chocolate preferences? White, milk, dark? What inclusions (fruit, nuts, none, etc.)? Gimme as many details as possible.
Darker is better, though I have a little soft spot for white too.
Inclusions: crunchy things! Nuts in particular, but coffee, freeze dried fruit chunks, and popping candy are all great options.
I make mixed media art (like collaging kinda). Is a mixed media art piece (small like an altoids tin or small canvas) something you'd be interested in?
That sounds brilliant!
What music platform do you use (Spotify, Apple Music, Pandora, etc.)? Do you like receiving music recommendations?
Spotify, and yes, I would love recommendations!
What type of spooky season imagery do you like? (Ie. bats, ghosts, vintage Halloween, etc.)
I’m all about the bats.
From the posted Trader Joe’s Halloween list:
Pumpkin Overnight Face Mask
Harvest Blend Herbal Tea
Pumpkin Spice Roobois
Pumpkin or Halloween Joe-Joes (Joe-Joes in any incarnation would be lovely)
Petite Pumpkin Spice Cookies
Pumpkin Body Butter
Pumpkin Spiced Pumpkin Seeds
Salted Caramel Hot Cocoa Stirring Spoon
Cinnamon Roll Blondie Baking Mix
Pumpkin Butter
Maple Roasted Almonds
Astrid’s Autumn Line
Darkness Summoned sounds glorious
https://www.astridperfume.com/collections/autumn-2023/products/darkness-summoned
NEW QUESTION: Homemade and preserved food goodies - Which of these things would you like my dear witchie? All are organic and grown or made by me.
sun-dried heirloom tomatoes
dried ancho chile peppers - can be whole halves or ground into a delicious powder
sugar-free candied pecans and walnuts or almonds
gourmet quality fudge in many flavors (formerly from my ETSY shop which I had to close until I have my own home again) please give me an idea the kinds of flavors you like. My more popular ones are Penuche, Choc & PB, Pumpkin pie, Forest fruit (with cherries, blueberries and cranberries), Vegan chocolate
dried italian plums (pitted)
sugar-free canned plum or logan berry jam
freshly dried rosemary, thyme, basil, parsley individually or in combo
almond flour baked goods (low carb, sugar free, and gluten free) - give me examples of savory and sweet things you'd like
All of those options sound lovely, but they wouldn’t get through Customs.
Might you like a witch hat?
I would LOVE a witch hat!
Fae Fragrance:
I love the look of all the products, and I think they would smell amazing in either Bear Hug or Lilith
Favourite Coffee blend?
Lighter roasts are preferable to darker ones. But I have a lot of coffee at the moment, so I think maybe no coffee would be the best option for now.
Open to non BPAL perfume?
Yes
Any other wishlists anywhere? LUSH, amazon, Etsy, wherever?
I’ve linked my Amazon and Etsy lists in my original application.
Have you seen the Snowpiercer tv series?
Nope.
Have you seen Wallace and Gromit?
I have, and I love it.
Can you send me a Shake Shack burger?
I wish I could!
Anything you want from my favorite local tea shop? www.fridaytea.com
Star crossed sounds utterly delightful
How about from my skincare person? drjensbeautylab.com/
Maybe some samples? My skin can be a little sensitive, but I’m always looking for a great product.
How about from my witchy Chandler? https://www.etsy.com/shop/TeresaLynnsSimpleLux
The Elders tea blend sounds delicious
It's also that time of year where I make handmade soap (usually with calendula infused olive oil, tallow, oatmeal and honey) and candles (feel free to specify color and size, I don't usually scent them, but I do have a clover and apple scent I've been wanting to play with). I can also annoint and dress candles with TALs and herbs. Any interest?
Handmade soap sounds lovely! Clover and apple sounds like a wonderful combination.
I wish! Customs won’t let herbs through though.
I also make salves! My go to in an arnica, calendula and comfrey mix for healing wounds or chapped skin. This can also be used on pet paws.
That sounds lovely!
Paintbox soap works?
Let Me In At Your Window and Pokeberry sound loveliest to me. I don’t have a bathtub at the moment, so no bath streusel please.
If you have a furry friend living with you, what sort of treats do they like?
My dog, Zara, loves chewy toys that aren’t squeaky.
My cats are all about little balls and little scrunchy, tinselly things they can bat at.
That said, they’re all incredibly spoiled, so they aren’t in need of anything, but they’re equally thrilled by anything that might come their way
What is your feelings on seasonal mugs?
Always yes!
Are your wishlists - Amazon, Etsy, etc - up to date, and if so, are they all linked somewhere that I can find them?
They are up to date, and are in the original SW application.
Rishi Tea:
Iron Goddess of Mercy sounds most intriguing.
So does the Sweet Thai Iced Tea powder.
I’m not aware of the Adagio business issues, so I haven’t looked in there.
Nocturne Alchemy:
Vampiress Wine - Vanilla Blossom Wine
Conjuring with the Countess
Conjuring with the Enchantress
Howling at the Moon
Conversations with the Moon
How do you feel about stickers? If positively, are there any themes you'd rather not have stickers of?
I love them in theory. But then I can never seem to be able to bring myself to use them. So it’s best not to send them.
What about crystals, cool rocks, and gemstones?
Always!
Squishmallows?
I love them. Not too big, but not too small either.
Enamel pins with chains for lapels?
I don’t often wear things with actual lapels. So while they look great, I wouldn’t really wear them.
The Pickety Witch things are cool, but not quite me.
A paper crane mobile sounds wonderful! I even have nice high ceilings and a place I can picture hanging one.
The Weenies?
A Melancholy of Goths ***
A Timid, Twinkling Golden Star
Maple Leaves, Golden Moss, and Amber Hair gloss ***
Lady of Saintonge ***
The Hound and the Milk-White Doe
Witchbirds
Ghost Milk **
Invisible Man Milk **
Bulbs would be lovely, but ones from the mentioned website wouldn’t be allowed into Australia.
Arm warmers on the other hand would be so brilliant. My right arm, in particular, is really permanently in need of warming. I broke my arm really badly, and all the plates and screws that now hold everything in place leave my arm really sensitive.
New questions
I don’t really have anything I would use washi tape for, sadly.
I, personally, would love biscotti. Sadly, Customs would steal any homemade posted food.
Music recommendations would be awesome, but I don’t actually have a CD player at all. Genres though, Rock, Grunge, Punk, Johnny Cash style country, Indie/alternative
Bserway?
Stunning! All of them.
Renn fair stuff?
I have no idea you can buy from one.
Updated House of Gloi
Violet Moon sounds beautiful!
Lakewood candles?
They look amazing, but I can’t have candles because of my very naughty cats
Tarot/oracle decks.
Not my thing, I live the artwork, but that’s about it.
Weenie Lush
Lord of Misrule everything!
Any soap/shower gel/scrub/lotion
The caveat being I don’t have a bath tub.
Mütter Museum?
Honestly, it all looks awesome. Ü is, of course, tempting. But anything cephalothoracopagus related would be awesome. As would anything with plague doctor related. I love the Great Women of Science bag too.
Ingredients for spellwork?
Thank you, but no.
Am I a fan of Cobra Kai?
Ive not even heard of it, so no.
Victoria’s Secret scents?
No
A silver protective amulet sounds delightful!
I’m not a spell worker, but I wish I could have acorns. Stupid customs *grumbles*
Lenny Mud: it’s all cool, but nothing really screams at me, you know?
Specific tea: All of them! I’m less of a fan of green teas, but I’ve never come across a tea I haven’t enjoyed.
Herbal infusions are a bit different, because they’re not teas in the strictest sense. I’m not a huge fan of herb teas with ginger in them.
Roobios is glorious though.
I’ve missed the time sensitive question, sadly. I hope that it didn’t make things difficult for you, my witch. I say this because Dream Skin sounds exquisite. Though I do love that Beth makes so many exquisite things that I could probably never manage to smell them all. So if I were to miss out on the chance to smell one, there’s comfort in all the others.
Weenies 2nd drop:
Firstly, !!!
I said earlier that I’m all about the bats.
It’s also clear that I’m all about all the BPAL bats too. They all sound gorgeous.
Dead Leaves, Black Cherry, and Incense Tar sounds beautiful too.
I also need to apologise for the fact that one of the very first bits of information we were asked for was to make our BPAL Wishlist available, so I’ve got that fixed too!

I love yarn, but I am presently drowning in it and have to say thank you but no thank you right now.
Provided my experiments work, would you be interested in a bar of homemade tallow soap? I promise I will not send you anything particularly suspect, so this is entirely contingent upon my competence.
yes!
Do homemade caramels or shortbread tickle your fancy?
Shortbread, yes!
because I’m a knitting kind of witch, would you appreciate a pair of hand knit socks. If yes, would you like them in a particular colour?

What type of spooky season imagery do you like? (Ie. bats, ghosts, vintage Halloween, etc.)

almond flour baked goods (low carb, sugar free, and gluten free) - give me examples of savory and sweet things you'd like - I love snickerdoodles or sweet breads.
Might you like a witch hat? Later this month I'm taking a class at an area museum where I'm supposed to decorate 2 hats. Also I crochet wicked cute witchy hats.
That sounds like a fun Halloween decoration!
Do you see anything here that interests you? They have dry shampoos, whipped soaps, awesome hand cream, linen spray, sugar scrubs and perfume. https://www.etsy.com/shop/faefragrance/?etsrc=sdt
Heavy hand cream or sugar scrubs would be lovely.
- yes, those sound lovely, including clover/apple scent. I have not tried TAL yet and would love something anointed with it.
- I would love some magical herbs - that is something I have not tried much of and would love some to try, especially if it came with some guidance.
I also make salves! My go to in an arnica, calendula and comfrey mix for healing wounds or chapped skin. This can also be used on pet paws. We do have barely enough time that I could do a custom infusion. - that sounds fantastic! I use arnica on my shoulder when I have ouchies there, so I would love a custom salve.
If you have a furry friend living with you, what sort of treats do they like?
Lillian, my French sheepdog, loves crunchy treats, especially with pumpkin or blueberries in them, but she is not picky. She also really likes rice.

How do you feel about Squishmallows and Squishables? (They have mini and micro sizes for those who like cute plushies but don't have a lot of space.)

Would you wear enamel pins with chains that are meant to be put on lapels? (Something like this.)
Maybe not.
Speaking of enamel pins... The Pickety Witch's Autumn and Halloween collection just dropped. Has anything caught your eye?
No thank you.
I used to make mobiles out of paper cranes, would you appreciate something like this? if so, what size restrictions do you have, if any? ie., should it take up less space vertically or horizontally? color palette preference?

Anything you'd like from my Ren Fest? There is an outstanding garlic based shop I'll be going to next weekend, for my annual stock up of their spice blends & garlic oil blends. Any other Renny stuff that you like?
Oh, garlic or spices would be great! I haven't been to Ren Fest in many years, but I do remember lovely handmade ceramic mugs and I drink a lot of hot drinks, so I would be delighted with one of those.
know we are looking at a lot of candles, but if you are into looking at more (and it is ok to say you are not), do any of these strike your fancy?
