Easter Swap 2023

What is your favorite Easter candy? I LOVE those Lindt hazelnut chocolate carrots, really any of the Lindt Easter candies.    🐰 Do you like Jelly Bellies? YES especially the sours.    🐣 For everyone else: Do you have a preference for plastic eggs, treat bags, paper, or no preference?
If you absolutely have to send me plastic eggs, I won't be mad but my preference is something, anything that isn't plastic. I would even prefer things to be wrapped in paper honestly or even not wrapped at all nestled in grass/packing material. 
  🦄 Are you interested in some of my homemade brown sugar shortbread?  ABSOLUTELY Yes and the recipe too. Gluten free regular sugar fine, and any of the flavors besides chocolate.    🐝 For those who don't like imps... In the case I find that I have something PERFECT for you in my collection that I want to share, would decanting into a squat itty bitty bottle with a screw top lid or rollerball be ideal? Hey, imps don't bother me one bit. I just love to try everything and imps are the best way to do that. 

🦋 Do you garden? Would you like anything like seeds? We are putting out a few more raised beds this month, and seeds would be welcome. I adore zinnias in salmons and green, and anything else you'd like to include. Planting directly into the ground preferred like a mini chocolate sunflower etc.    🦊 Spring Chick o' Mine, I have a question about mugs! What are your general feelings on mugs/drinkware? 
Ok, being super honest here. I have received many a cup over the years, and typically my husband adopts them. I drink my tea from the same ceramic tall cup every day and drink out of the same hydroflask. It's not that we don't have lots of cups and drinkware, I just only need these individual items. In other words, you can send something, but my Ran will be using it.

Lots of great ones here, but I prefer the magical themes like: Moon Cat, and Rabbit Witch. I do stick them on my purses and such.

No aversions/sensitivities to actual roses, but if I wear rose scents they are "darker" like Lady Lucille and Lorraine Cross. 

🐝 Would you be interested in any cute Easter/spring-themed cookie cutters?
I don't think I would use them....   🐧 I'm going to pre-order some spring teas (and stock up on the maple houjicha) from Friday Afternoon. Is there a spring tea (or any other tea) that you might like? Not sure if you noticed on my main questionnaire, that I ADORE teas. My faves are creamy chai's I do like the spice. I also love anything deep and dark with some sweetness. That Maple Houjicha looks exactly like something I would love. For the Spring Teas, the Goji-Mum Green, Peachy Keen, and Strawberry Snap would also be amazing.    🐹How do you feel about lambs as part of Easter? 
Yes, absolutely lambs! I would eat a choco lamb. Rabbits make me nervous. We used to have rabbit hutches in the backyard while I was growing up. They belonged to my brother but my Mom actually took care of them. Our main rabbit, every time she would have a litter, as soon as they we born, she would go crazy and murder the poor things. It was brutal.  Bees are wonderful of course. Who doesn't like bees? I've been stung a few times, the strangest place was at the nail salon under one of those UV lamps. I jumped up and started screaming and jumping. The friend I was with, jumped up with me and started screaming too lol. I've also planted a pollinators habitat this year, and our cactus get these enormous flowers that last a day and are COVERED with happy bees. Yay.

Gnome Swap

Would you like to receive Girl Scout cookies and if so, what kind is your favorite?  Thin Mints and the Lemonades   Would you like a Gnome amigurumi?  (smol knitted or crocheted gnome)  Sure!  -- if so, What gnome colors appeal to you?  (three-four colors please)  Any~ -- do any of these patterns appeal to you (I pretty much have all of them including the ones for humans but I'm not going to make a colorwork sweater for you, sorry.  I *might* make a hat or mitts if you like grey, blue, and red as shown because I already have that yarn.)  I really love the hat with the long tail on it!   How about Gnome tea towel(s)?  Yes please!   Would you like a cross stitched gnome picture / ornament?  Yes!!   What's your favorite way to experience Nature?  A hike in the woods, a day lounging on the beach, only as screen savers on your computer?  Beach time for sure!  I do also like wandering in the woods, and time on the motorcycle prowling around new areas   what kinds of safety and environmental concerns need to be considered for your gnome so they can safely reside at your home? will they live outdoors so they need to be weatherproof (for what kind of weather)? will they be indoors and need to be pet or child-safe? do they need to be very tiny or capable of hanging on a wall?  If indoors, will need to be pet safe; if outdoors, will need to be weatherproofed.   How do you feel about zombie or other horror gnomes?  Bring them on!   Do you need any seeds? If so what varieties might you be interested in? Flowers, veg, herbs.. ?  I love starting from seed, especially vegetables that are gmo.  I pretty much would love herbs, esp dill, and tarragon, as well as green (or purple) beans, tomatos and banana peppers!   Would you like feathers from my Peacock, Gary (short for Gyrados)?  My brain says yes, my allergies say no and they are winning currently   if BPAL is one of your treasures, which BPAL would you like the mostest?  (Maybe one that is available right now from BPAL and one Limited Edition/Discontinued?)    Mouse's Long and Sad Tale, Whip are my two fav GC right now, and even imps would rock as I have almost empty bottles.  LE I love Snake Charmer, either OG or Rez is fine.  I'd love a sniffie or tester of any on my wishlist, which is updated   If you are a tea drinker, which (if any) of these teas tickle your fancy? Could be an ornament? A bathroom hand towel would be cool, but not sure what to do with tea towels.  Everything else in my house is bar mops because they're either getting beaten up in the kitchen or covered in yarn/fabric dye in my workshop   Would you like a cross stitched gnome picture / ornament? sure   What's your favorite way to experience Nature?  A hike in the woods, a day lounging on the beach, only as screen savers on your computer?  I'm a hike/walk, work in the garden, visit a pretty place, occasionally scenic drive type.  If I'm outside this is good.   what kinds of safety and environmental concerns need to be considered for your gnome so they can safely reside at your home? will they live outdoors so they need to be weatherproof (for what kind of weather)? will they be indoors and need to be pet or child-safe? do they need to be very tiny or capable of hanging on a wall? no pet concerns, and would probably live indoors, possibly in my garden box so would need to deal with hot, dry, and daily watering, and then would be brought in for the winter if the gnome were an outdoor one.   How do you feel about zombie or other horror gnomes?  I think they're hilarious but I don't do halloween/zombie/creepy all year, so it would not be out most of the year   Do you need any seeds? If so what varieties might you be interested in? We like Thin Mints, Samoas/Caramel Delites, the new Adventurefuls, Smores and I really want to try the new raspberry ones.   Would you like a Gnome amigurumi?  (smol knitted or crocheted gnome)  Yes please! -- if so, What gnome colors appeal to you?  (three-four colors please) jewel tones, black, gray -- do any of these patterns appeal to you (I pretty much have all of them including the ones for humans but I'm not going to make a colorwork sweater for you, sorry.  I *might* make a hat or mitts if you like grey, blue, and red as shown because I already have that yarn.) I really like the long floppy hat one - Here we gnome again.   How about Gnome tea towel(s)? Sure!   Would you like a cross stitched gnome picture / ornament? Sure.    What's your favorite way to experience Nature?  A hike in the woods, a day lounging on the beach, only as screen savers on your computer? Wandering in the woods behind my house, kayaking, definitely love beaches and exploring bodies of water, tide pools, etc. When I think "nature" I think trees and water.   what kinds of safety and environmental concerns need to be considered for your gnome so they can safely reside at your home? will they live outdoors so they need to be weatherproof (for what kind of weather)? will they be indoors and need to be pet or child-safe? do they need to be very tiny or capable of hanging on a wall?  I am ready and willing to provide a suitable habitat for an outdoor gnome, but would also happily provide an indoor home. Sadly, I do not have a lot of wall space for a hanging gnome.   How do you feel about zombie or other horror gnomes? I'm really not into zombies, but would not be opposed to a creepy gnome.   Do you need any seeds? Our yard is kind of vaguely controlled chaos, but we have a lot of neat sculptural things hidden about. Yes! The first or the last for sure. The coin purse not so much.    I have an angora rabbit and she's currently molting. Would you like rabbit fur for spinning, felting, or other crafty uses? This sounds lovely, but I don't really have a use for it.    Do you need any spices? There's nothing I specifically need, but I'm always interested in trying new spice blends. I could use some new curry blends specifically.    How would you feel about gnome-inspired clothing? I would feel good about it.   would you be interested in any horror movie merch? If so, do you have a favorite horror movie / character? Not really my thing. (although a scary gnome could be fun)   Haus of Gloi launched their Valentine goodies today. I definitely would get no use out of seeds. I might be able to keep an air plant or a succulent alive, but it's iffy.   Shortbread? This is my question, but yes, I would love to your version in floral or fruit flavors.      Any candles you might like? I can do some chasing to create a mushroom or a leaf or a special bug fren... that sounds lovely   ***Unrelated to any questions but also wasn't really in my questionnaire anywhere*** I LOOOOOOOVE incense.  Currently I'm really into STICK style incense (I have enough wax tarts for a while) I could also use a stick incense burner as I don't have any and just sort of use whatever to hold the sticks... currently, Im using an old roll of duct tape in one room and a b0ng that I got as a wrap gift on a stoner comedy I worked on in another (the b0ng actually is kind of genius and works better than I expected) and in the living room I just stick it in the dirt for one of my houseplants

I live in Seattle area so it rains quite a lot so any gnomes meant for outdoors need to be weatherproof. Would you like to receive Girl Scout cookies and if so, what kind is your favorite?  No (sadly), I'm trying to be better about exposure to sugar and gluten.     Would you like a Gnome amigurumi?  (smol knitted or crocheted gnome)    -- if so, What gnome colors appeal to you?  (three-four colors please)  Yes, that would be so much fun!  I'd love a Gnome is Where You Hang Your in Cthulhu like colors (beard/skin in green, sweater in red/black). -- do any of these patterns appeal to you (I pretty much have all of them including the ones for humans but I'm not going to make a colorwork sweater for you, sorry.  I *might* make a hat or mitts if you like grey, blue, and red as shown because I already have that yarn.)   How about Gnome tea towel(s)?  I'm good on tea towls.   Would you like a cross stitched gnome picture / ornament?  An ornament would be great, especially if you can make it a gothy or bloody gnome.  I love subversive ornaments!    What's your favorite way to experience Nature?  A hike in the woods, a day lounging on the beach, only as screen savers on your computer?  I like just walking around the woods or the suburbs when no one else is out (when it's raining or late at night) so I can take my time looking at and listening to nature.  I try to make it to parks and I want to start hiking once I get my bursa taken care of.     What kinds of safety and environmental concerns need to be considered for your gnome so they can safely reside at your home? will they live outdoors so they need to be weatherproof (for what kind of weather)? will they be indoors and need to be pet or child-safe? do they need to be very tiny or capable of hanging on a wall?  It would need to be weatherproof as it will join the other gnomes and zombie flamingoes outside.    How do you feel about zombie or other horror gnomes? The one I am most proud of right now is a spiced hibiscus liqueur. I make this as a jelly, too. As far as the Liqueur, We have been making an autumn Moscow Mule with it, and the other day I made a Mai Tai! Its yummy!      No, thank you   If I can find the recipe, I want to make my grandmas Orange Slice Cake. Its a super yummy cake but a bit difficult to make as far as cutting up all the oranges.
