I have enjoyed maraschino cherries in a few of the Lab's blends, so I was hoping this would be another win, and it is. maraschino cherries and a bite of sugary lime-like fluorescence

a nice soft black licorice. the best anise/licorice I've tried from the lab - not too foodie or overpowering As it wears, I get more gray and dusty and mouse-y, almost with a hint of popcorn, the licorice is still there, but subdued

low throw pancakes (vaguely batter foodie) with cardamom (spice) and light mint and anise, get more mint the longer I sniff. Nice and interesting but short lived and low. I really wish this had better staying power on my skin, as it's not too foodie, but it's different and interesting.

huh, I open the decant get a lovely brown leather and something that's almost but not quite Vicks. maybe minty? mothballs? I am unable to place this scent, but it is the dominant scent on my skin, which wears like a cloud sniffing my wrist up close I get sour leather and clover. It mellows some as it wears and even turns a bit dusty/powdery, but I do not notice it without the close sniff.

haha, now that patina said "cowboy themed" I smell it ...if the cowboy was wearing too much cologne the cologne is spiced and goes on too strong for me. There's brown leather underneath. These two mingle more as the day goes on and the cologne settles down some. Very masc

I had to try it despite not believing it would work on me.... and...straight to drier sheets / vintage decorative soap with that floral edit - turns baby powdery after a few hours

TOO STRONG holy cow just a test on my skin and it's way too much. I must amp it hot honey is a punch in the face, and smells rather sour with the pineapple -
okay somebody else needs to weigh in on this... 😆 in the decant and WET it's a smoky camphor and then very quickly it DRIES into nothing but sugary candy the morph gives a brief moment of camphor and sugar, but it settles into a surprisingly sugar sweet note on my skin what? 😅 the question is, can I slather it on and survive the camphor stage in order to get the reward?

I will preface this by saying that I had to wash it off after a few minutes, as I was having a reaction to it (throat irrigation and coughing) that lasted a few more hours after washing it off. That's a rare thing with BPAL and me, but it happens. Initial impression: scorched, biting, almost fir-like (pitch?) and almost cloying. Yes, there's leather underneath. Sweet cloud of incense and labdanum rolls in, enveloping it all. medium+ throw

very nice pumpkin - salted (as one would caramel), which isn't bad, but edges it towards sweeter and foodier than I typically wear medium+ throw, good wear length as it wears the paper note comes out, turning things a bit yellowed

goes on sour. I've had a few suede/leathers be sour, and that's the only thing that makes sense, but it could be something else since I get leather separately on drydown Then the leather note comes into it's own AS leather. It's a yellow-brown suede/leather low throw. doesn't last too long on my skin.

I also get the Dead Leaves note when first sprayed, and it's not a note I'm a fan of. It does seem to fade and let the leather and pumpkin ride high, but then it all disappears
