SW Q&A September 21st

Do you like garlic? Do you REALLY like garlic? Would you want to try some really unusual garlic stuff, like garlic cheese or garlic fudge or garlic chocolate, etc., etc., etc.? Please, no.   Can I talk to you about the living dead? How do you feel about Zombies?   Zombies are a cool horror movie monster. I'm also very interested in the anthropological basis for zombification(i.e. religious practices, herbs, and/or blowfish poison) and the folklore surrounding it.

Here is some early morning ketchup. It goes on eggs. Do you collect stones/rocks? I'm talking like "semi" precious stones, ie moonstone, bloodstone, quartz ect. Are there any that you're looking for at the moment? Are you in need of a stone but don't know which kind? I love garnet, turquoise, tigerseye and amethysts and am always looking for nice pieces to wire wrap.   What's your favorite Halloween Music? I really like ballads around this time of year, and creepier folk tunes. Pete Seger - Pretty Polly, Medieval Babes - Tam Lin, are good examples. I also like listening to scary stories on tape if the person reading is good at what they do. Do you have a deviantart print wishlist or favourites list? Sadly, no. If you haven't played, same thing, but not limited to SW. Last round I was in: Caramel Bess from John and Kira's (OMG! Sooooooo good!) and lovely books from Wwindy. I also love the mug juniperusintrepidus made me waaaay back when I started. And I've misplaced the dear witch's name, like that horribly disorganized person I am, but this was one of my favorite packages, ever. I really adore handmade things, and she made both the scarf and the dread falls. She also enabled me to Teapigs, which has some really decent tea and reasonable S&H to the U.S.   Can I talk to you about the living dead? How do you feel about Zombies? I like dressing up as a zombie, I like zombie comedies (shaun of the dead, zombieland), but I don't like actual zombie movies very much.   What kind of shoes do you need/want? What size shoes do you wear? Would you mind gently used shoes? I'm full up on shoes, unless they're boots. Everyone needs more boots! I wear 8.5.   Do you like paper dolls (new or vintage) or coloring in books? I really like Dover coloring books and even some of the more simplistic books. Not much for paper dolls, however.

Damn damn damn, I didn't need to see the Castle Pilot really I DONT NEED A snarky TV show to watch. So witch i thought i should mention i have been adding to the great WANT list of doom at amazon. Its become a kinda wonder land of things i want. So i will at some point NEED the rest of this show. It has fabulous music, to go with snarky dialog, its all things love. But i have only now seen two episodes the first and one some where in season 1 (it was about a girl rocker's death) so i can't do any fandom or anything like that YET.   Well the oldest just woke and puked her dinner down the stairs, I was thinking ti would be an early night for me. No such luck.

What would your last meal be if it could be anything in the world (sky is the limit, drinks too, the whole shebang) I'd probably go to Zingerman's, get my usual order (#26, please), and then since it's my last meal, I'd probably pile on the sides of mac and cheese and rice pudding. And then gelato and something baked, too. HEY IT'S MY LAST MEAL I DON'T NEED TO WORRY ABOUT CALORIES. NaNoWriMo? The flesh is willing, but the mind is weak. If you happened to be my Witchee, is there something you'd like from the Arcana Halloween update? I don't even know where to find Arcana. If you want to give me something from there, I trust your judgement.   How many bottles of BPAL do you have? 58. I said 57 on the thread, but I forgot about the nearly empty bottle of Blood Phoenix.   Is there any exercise program that you're interesting in learning? Meditation, Yoga, Pilates, Belly Dancing, Zumba ect? Or if you do any of these (or anything else sport related) are there any things you need/want? Candles, music, mats, water bottles ect? I love belly dance music, high energy stuff, and mellow, relaxing instrumentals.   Anyone else into Emily Autumn? Yes!   What's on your walls? Please show us up to three paintings/posters/whatever. If you love a painting so much that you would steal (to watch it with your greedy eyes) one, please share. A giant poster of this hangs above my bed framed. I had it at college, and it brings me zen. My only issues is that it should be 'were' not 'was', but-- seeing as how I have difficulties typing letters in the correct order, I probably should not get all OCD about grammar. There is a tiny cat gargoyle head above my door, and a wall chunk of fanart in slipcovers(including chibis, favorite characters, some cute couples, cute anime/manga guys, and a mermaid). Two oval La Mode Illustree framed pages from 18-something hang opposite an add for Doc Constantine's Pharmacopaeia that a friend got out of a magazine for me(and I then laminated). All of that is in a corner behind my folk harp. In other things that aren't on my wall, but are decorative(and not plants): three geisha dolls in two display cases sit high up; one atop a bookshelf, the other on my wardrobe. I don't think I covet anything particular? I have a poster print of Hylas and the Nymphs, and one of a mermaid that I would like to display, but I have yet to frame them.   do you like Girl Scout cookies? Fig, black currant, calla lily, vanilla sandalwood   Review:   In the bottle: It’s a moderately strong smell of fig, currant, and sandalwood.   Wet: It’s much softer on my skin, and much more floral (probably the calla lily), with a touch of vanilla, and something sweet and fruity in the background.   Dry: Not bad, it’s floral, yet fruity as soon as the fig comes back, with a little bit of bitterness and darkness.   Verdict: I love this one too! So far, except Forbidden Desire, the American Gothic collection suits me well, and I think I still have 2 samples to try... I'm impatient to see if they're as good as the ones I have tried so far!

THE MEMORIES. THE HORROR. When I was in sixth grade we went to a garlic festival at an otherwise lovely dining establishment. Everything was over-garlicky, but my sister and I are all, "Well, at least there is dessert and that will be nom and not garlic." Vanilla ice cream with garlic honey sauce. First of all, it's the most disgusting thing I've ever eaten. Second of all, I'm kind of scarred for life when it comes to "garlic" and "unusual".   Can I talk to you about the living dead? How do you feel about Zombies? Generally, they are hilarious. I loved Zombieland after the first 15 minutes of too violent/gross for me. I'm such a girl that way. However the things like Pride and Prejudice and Zombies? I ADORE them in concept. In execution, the author is so pitifully below Jane Austen's writing style and level that I can't actually stand to read them.   9/20/10 If you happened to be my Witchee, is there something you'd like from the Arcana Halloween update? I know you aren't asking me this, so I just take the chance to say <3 you!   How many bottles of BPAL do you have? Really? Really? Crap. 61. Many of which were acquired as (low level) partials and one of which makes me so sad, I actually don't like looking at it anymore (ask me about the FULL bottle of Snow Glass Apples that I spilled everywhere five seconds after getting it)   About 20 of them probably need to be sold or swapped off at this point. I just am so lazy in that respect. Switch Witch Ketchup #4

Dear Witch – I’ve gotten very boring on this Ketchup, so many questions… and I have to admit some of them really don’t apply to me because I already mentioned I’m not very crafty so I don’t want that kind of thing. I think I’ve gotten to the point where I’ll have very short answers on stuff I think I’ve answered. I can barely get through the thread anymore.. Cooking wise, I do okay but am challenged with roasting big pieces of meat.. haven’t quite learned the art of this. My favorite cookbook is the Joy of Cooking – I love how crazy detailed it is. I'm not crazy about epic, Tolkienesque series (although I loved Tolkien, and I had a middle-school love affair with the Dragonlance Chronicles). I prefer a contemporary spin on my fantasy. I do play Changeling: The Lost, and costume items/jewelry is definitely appreciated. Soaps : do you like them? What brands? What scents? Anything you're dying to try? I love Arcana's stuff, and my boyfriend is crazy about Villainess (although I usually prefer the Gingersnapped scrub). 9/25/10 If you could make a scent that represents where you live (or have lived), what would be the ingredients? My family was Air Force, so this question encompasses a lot of places. Perhaps a will o' the wisp scent, that constantly morphs. Sometimes wonderful, sometimes even a nasty phase   Are you in need of Roller bottles or anything of the like? Very much looking for imp-size or even smaller roller bottles, for carrying & reapplication. Cobalt blue, or some other dark color. i caved

okay i admit it I caved, i couldn't deal with the caffineless of my existence any more. So i am back to almost full speed. I am going to try weening myself back instead of the abrupt stop this time.   I will be posting to the IGT thread about the girls fairy booklets. They are Frothing to get to them and i keep telling them they have to help me get a place cleaned off to do it.   I am almost 25 pages behind on the SW thread due to my weekend in the fog. I will slog through it today and hope to get to the minty catch uped ness by tonight, but it may be tomorrow.
