Notes I love: HONEY, agave, sugar cane, pink sugar, benzoin/storax, beeswax, light vanilla, cream, MUSK (except red & black), most types of tea notes, most booze (except rum and grapey-wine) especially SAKE, salty aquatics i.e. OCEAN MIST and seaweed such as kelp, ozone, METAL/CHROME, any sort of FIZZY/sparkling/carbonated beverage note such as CHAMPAGNE or SODA water, FRESH (esp Hawaiian/qhite) GINGER and GINGER FLOWER, all citrus (not verbena) especially BLOOD ORANGE and GRAPEFRUIT and LIME, tropical/exotic fruits such as LYCHEE, mango, KIWI, pineapple, PASSIONFRUIT, papaya, GUAVA, peach, nectarine, honeydew melon, apple, pear, QUINCE, all sorts of berries especially huckleberry and CRANBERRY and RED CURRANT, pomegranate, black cherry, LINDEN, rose (esp tea), stargazer and some other lilies, DAFFODIL, cyclamen, CROCUS, tulip, heliotrope, PEONY, wild rose, bluebell, lemon blossom, nicotiana/tobacco flower, champaca, davana, rice flower, freesia, pikaki, plumeria, CHERRY BLOSSOM, osmanthus, chrysanthemum, hibiscus, hyacinth, DAISY, soft carnation, blue lavender, GERANIUM, white mint, peppermint, SPEARMINT, birch, cypress, aloe, CUCUMBER, cos or wild LETTUCE, grass, tomato leaf, ivy, hops, DANDELION, heather, clover, thyme, bamboo, ti leaf, balsam, oakmoss, ti, white sandalwood, tobacco, motor oil, OLD/WORN LEATHER, linen and paper notes, white amber.
Typically terrible: most super foody/baked goods type of things, pumpkin, strong tonka, heavy/cloying vanilla, fig, dates, red cherry, white peach, apricot, lotus and lotus root, iris and orris, calla lily and some other lilies go soapy or spicy or powder on me, muguet and lily of the valley, ylang ylang, narcissus, sweet pea, lilac, most jasmines, most gardenias, moonflower, neroli, palmarosa, poppy, opium, verbena, lemongrass, sage, pine/fir/mistletoe (except pitch/Terebinth/resin), the lab's snow notes, cedar, rosewood, dark/smoky resins, most milk notes, most types of amber, black musk, harsh patchoulis, the gritty type of vetiver, most clove notes, teak, cedar.
Never wearable, hate hate HATE these notes: wisteria, mimosa, elemi, litsea cubea, pennyroyal, hemp, dirt/soil, cumin, caraway, coriander, black pepper, cardamom, cinnamon, allspice, nutmeg, dry/hot-spicy ginger, saffron, pimento, chili or red pepper, bell pepper, mandrake, red musk, star anise, anise/fennel/licorice, sassafras, wormwood/absinthe, anything 'buttery', caramel, molasses, brown sugar, banana, milk chocolate, white chocolate, coconut, any type of nut, chestnut, or any nutty or grain notes, dragon's blood, frankincense, myrrh, incense of any type or anything 'smoky', the De Sade/Spanked 'new' leather note.
