    Bouquet With Skull and Coins

As the description says, this is a floral blend that feels glassy and metallic. It has aspects of ozone and cologne. Cool and clean. Not sure what the floral notes are. It’s very interesting, how the lab achieves metal flowers. The scent is pleasant, but not quite “me.”

    A Stroll Through the Quarter

At first - yum, caramelized bananas! After a minute - now the lush oleander is present, and still the burnt, sugared bananas. Nice combination. I’m waiting on the incense and Dorian. 10 minutes later - nope! Still just bananas and oleander. But I like it.

    Self-Portrait

This has aged well. It’s a gentle honeyed milk, with subtle floral background notes (gardenia, orris). Creamy, sweet, and clean. This is a happy, warm blend that a child could wear, or anyone who wants to feel happy and comforted.

    Vehementia

Lovely blend of sweet orange and earthy notes (master root, High John the Conquerer). I’ve never heard of master root but apparently it is used to command authority, luck, protection. This blend has a grounding and centering effect, making me feel calm and ready to handle what comes my way. The only negative is that I don’t get any dragon’s blood. Still a pleasant and useful blend.

    Nice

The description says sugared vanilla musk, candyfloss, ruby chocolate, and clove. It reminds me very much of my favorite candle, Burke & Hare’s Eros, which is chocolate and clove. Here I get, definitely not milk chocolate, I was going to say white chocolate, but yeah I guess it’s ruby chocolate, which is its own fruity unique thing. If you’ve tasted it you know. It’s heavy on the berries. Like it really felt like white chocolate and red wine to me, but after reading the description I see that it’s the ruby chocolate. It does have a winelike twang though! And then the gentle spice of the clove rounds it out. I’m really I happy I blind-swapped for this bottle! It suits me really well (even though I am not that nice, I don’t think.)

    Creeper Dragon

This scent is aged 10 years. Sadly, it’s pretty faded at this point. I get the dragon’s blood and honey. It’s weird because I just tested another aged decant where the red musk was PUNGENT, and here it’s totally absent (except for the red-orange color of the oil.) Like just gone. No leather, either. Just a very soft dragon’s blood and honey.

    Delight in Disorder

This is aged 8 years. The oil is BLACK. And it smells of pure red musk on me. Thick and animal, almost like civet! I’m not really getting any cherry. I like many red musk blends, but perhaps due to its age this is too concentrated and didn’t work for me.

    Cola de Mono

Spicy, sweet coffee. The spices here are anise, cinnamon and clove. So it differs from Caffe Mille et une Nuits or Bearded Dragon, both of which are cardamom coffee blends. The coffee note itself is quite strong, then a touch of cinnamon and a lot of vanilla and sugar. The aguardiente is barely noticeable. This is a warm, close-to-the-skin type of perfume.

    Bearded Dragon

Very nice! Similar to Caffe Mille et une Nuits’ coffee and cardamom. But here we also have a strong dragon’s blood note, which I always love, and a sweet vanilla. I would love an iced coffee drink of this, in real life. Or a room scent! I just love coffee blends.

    Injured Dickchest Alchemy Lab

Strong champaca blossom with just a hint of soapy pine. It’s like a floral nag champa with a little bit of a pine twist. It’s very faded. Well, it is 7 years old.

    Syrnyk

Like a cream cheese danish! It’s a little plasticky but all cheesecake blends are like that on my skin. It’s got a really nice light lemon note. This cheesecake is light and airy, and not too sweet. Very nice.

    Lemon Chiffon Pumpkin Pie

Pumpkin pie with plenty of spice, not too sweet. The lemon is very light! It’s like how you add a little spritz of lemon when you’re cooking to bring out the flavor. It really accentuates the sweetness of the pumpkin pie.

    Die, Sweetly Die

At first, there’s a blast of juicy blood orange and black cherry. The fruits are balanced with dark, spicy florals - jasmine and tuberose. It’s energizing and sexy - something to wear to go out dancing. I love how well the fruits blend with the flowers, just lovely overall effect.

    Joyful Moon

For being fifteen years old, this decant still retains a good deal of scent. This is a sweet, girly floral perfume, like from a department store. I think it’s mostly white musk, vanilla, and as for the floral notes, orris and honeysuckle. I’m not really getting any rose, and I don’t know what ambrette, frangipani and angelica smell like specifically. But I’m sure they’re there – this doesn’t smell like any one flower in particular but a varied bouquet. Very nice!

    Leaf Spirits

Vetiver is the star here. Smoky and peppery. The spicy sweet clove is also noticeable, and the nutmeg. I like it. I like the smokiness and spices, how they blend with the vetiver. The peppery note fades after time. Soft woods and amber come forth. If it had a tad more throw, I’d get a bottle.
