doomsday_disco Report post Posted November 29, 2025 On Monday, when the sun is hot I wonder to myself a lot: “Now is it true, or is it not, “That what is which and which is what?” On Tuesday, when it hails and snows, The feeling on me grows and grows That hardly anybody knows If those are these or these are those. On Wednesday, when the sky is blue, And I have nothing else to do, I sometimes wonder if it’s true That who is what and what is who. On Thursday, when it starts to freeze And hoar-frost twinkles on the trees, How very readily one sees That these are whose—but whose are these? On Friday—— Hot, sunny cardamom amber and milky musk, honeyed rice and snowy slush.
Mufasa Report post Posted December 21, 2025 Absolutely amazing! Easily my favorite of the collection. It’s a tiny bit spicy and creamy and sweet. Something about it reads woodsy to me like a hint of fir or general tree smells. It’s very subtle, close to the skin not very much throw but in a great way like your skin but better. I would say the cardamom and the milky musk are the most prominent notes I don’t really get the other things and the cardamom is a little more subdued than it normally is for me but the milky musk is perfect because it’s not too dairy or tangy nor is it the kind of powdery smell that I get sometimes with musk, I love it and it’s cozy and a perfect daily wear perfume. elissamay Report post Posted December 27, 2025 Cardamom and rice are two of my favorite notes, but I never thought I'd find them together in a perfume that wasn't very much a gourmand. Until this one! This is sweet and creamy, but not terribly foody. The warm amber and the musk keep it out of "rice pudding" territory for me, even with the milk and honey. wilhelmscream Report post Posted December 29, 2025 I like the pointed notes of hot, sunny cardamom amber and snowy slush. The hot/cold dynamic is really interesting in this fragrance. Very appropriate for the Yule collection. The honeyed rice and milky musk really create a close to the skin body smell. Like a worn t-shirt of a loved one. Something warm and a little spicy. The snowy slush comes into play as almost like a frosted window pane of glass, just a suggesting of cool around this radiant warmth.
doomsday_disco Report post Posted Tuesday at 12:19 AM (edited) When I first sniffed this, I thought this would mostly be a cardamom and amber scent (even though it had plenty of rest before that first sniff), but it's actually mostly about the milky musk (which isn't buttery whatsoever!) and snow notes on me, with some welcome cardamom, a bit of honeyed rice (which isn't super buttery like some rice notes can be on me), and a little amber in the background. Although the description says slushy snow, I swear I smelled Snow White's sweet snow note with the musk when I tested it for the third time yesterday. It definitely does not contain the berry-infused slushy snow of Skadi, the bright, maybe white tea-infused slushy snow note, the mentholic snow of Nuclear Winter, or the evergreen-infused snow of Snow Bunny. I wore this as my scent of the day on Friday last week, and I did a big slather. I felt like I got more of the cardamom that way, but this scent stayed close to the skin on me despite me slathering it along my forearms. I really enjoy this one and would wear this whenever there's a need for a comforting scent, in winter, when one is longing for the warmth of spring, or in early spring, while watching the last signs of winter fade away. perfumeplease Report post Posted yesterday at 01:56 AM Very simple but very pretty. Warm cardamom with honey and musk. The cardamom tickles my nose. The milky musk is leaning more towards powdery on me rather than milky.
