This smells similar to the original to me (I find Goblin to be closer to Banshee Beat / Revenant Rhythm) but doesn't yet have the depth that patchouli gets from aging. Will set aside for a year or so!

Maybe my nose is broken because this smells very similar to the original to me, but not aged into lovely deep richness that I remember my last bottle of OLoP being. I am thinking it will age wonderfully.

This smells fantastic in the bottle and wet on my skin, but the dry down morphs into something that smells not great with my skin chemistry. boo.

I also get some kind of spice to this, I keep checking the notes each time I open the bottle to sniff it, sure that there must be cardamom in it. That's really all I can smell, is cardamom. (new version, not the original.)

Black, green, white, rooibos, oolong, herbal? Pretty sure you are not my witch then because my Circular Swap help is pretty detailed about the kind of tea I like. As in, I like black and flavored black, matcha, SOMETIMES green, jasmine, meh on white, only certain herbals (I LOATHE camomile), ixnay on the rooibos and honeybush and puereh and mate, meh on the oolong. - Japan is particularly big on their green tea and hojicha (roasted green tea), any interest? ok, I have never tried hojicha and I would love to try some. I saw that SBUX has matcha and hojicha via (dried in little "stick" pouches) and I love matcha in sticks like that (especially flavored) so I would totally try some. I get the "acceptable" blends of matcha for baking, haven't tried the ceremonial. I could use a matcha whisk and bowl for "real" matcha that isn't in the little sticks and formulated to dissolve easily in a bottle of water. - My partner has given me an extraordinary amount of rooibos from South Africa.
