at first it's all calla lily with a hint of honey, it smells green but a bit golden and something almost smells like apple/pear to me but it's pretty subtle. this one stays pretty linear for me. i mostly get calla lilies and honey, i don't notice much amber. there is a sort of pollen-y feel to this after it's been on the skin awhile as well. i love lily/white floral scents in general, but wasn't sure/couldn't remember what the calla lily note was like. anyway, it's hard to describe but i do like it, but i think i prefer a basic lily note. overall this smells like a golden floral to me. i don't need a full bottle, but it is pretty.

this opens with lilac, lotus and amber cream. it's lilac on a bed of creaminess. i get a hint of something mildly foody from the purple yam but it doesn't stick out too much. however, i don't really know what that note smells like. the sandalwood and orris come out a bit later just sort of rounding out the scent and adding some lightness....it's a bit less creamy than at the beginning. then it goes back to being creamier. a really lovely lilac. i love creamy florals and i don't think i have a lilac one at this point. much later on it smells almost like a very subtle coconut. i may need a bottle of this!

i had kind of wanted to try this but didn't really like antique lace, so didn't bother. then i received a frimp of the 2025 version from a lovely person on the forum. i definitely get the antique lace feeling, though less sweet than i recall. at first, the leather and caramel balance each other out nicely so as to not be too strong one way or the other. then the leather gets a bit stronger and it's kind of smoky, before fading back a bit more. i really like how the caramel just balances out the leather and isn't too sweet. very pretty.

the frothed cream is reading as kind of nutty and herbal...not really liking the beginning stage. i think the 'honey dust' note smelled similar on me. it stays this way on my skin for a long time, then i notice a hint of champaca. the cherry and osmanthus/apricot only come out when it's been on the skin for 30+ minutes and add a sweetness, but don't take over. if this hadn't had such a strong nutty note i might've liked it more, but the frothed cream note with honey just takes over.

i smell the amber cream at first with a hint of smoked vanilla. after a few minutes i get the honeyed orris root, which gets stronger over time. this scent is quite subtle and doesn't have a lot of throw. the carnation slowly peeks out later and spices things up. it dries down to a smoky vanilla-amber carnation. as a carnation lover myself, i really like this. just wish it had a bit more throw.

Honey and Sweet Incense Atmosphere Spray
theseagrows replied to doomsday_disco's topic in Atmosphere
i sprayed one spray in the air and i am immediately transported to one of those import gift shops with incense, scarves, jewelry and statutary. the honey gives it a golden feel. it's very pretty and atmospheric, and i find it calming.- 1 reply

the strongest note is a juicy apricot and there is also bergamot which adds a tea like/citrus element. after awhile the bergamot gets stronger and now it smells like an apricot tea i once had. after awhile i get hints of the cream musk/bourbon vanilla. it's like an apricot tea with a small dollop of cream. not super creamy, but it does tone down the astringency of bergamot a bit. i don't usually wear many fruity scents but i though this one might be good for me. i did wish it was a bit creamier, but i still find it pretty and light enough to consider wearing from time to time.

this opens with a subtle tolu balsam and a faint hint of the lilac cream. it's very subtle at first, then the lilac cream gets stronger. there is a hint of spiced honey that is really lovely and the other notes sort of make up the background. the teakwood and and beeswax get stronger deeper into the drydown, adding some depth. overall a subtle creamy floral with hints of spiced amber/honey. really pretty!

i got a frimp of this-it smells sweeter to me than the notes would suggest. it smells green but a bit sugary, kind of cakey. it could be mango + some sort of sweetness as the other reviews said. if this is a floral note it's not reading that way. i dunno, it's alright, but a little too sweet for my tastes.

at first i get primarily red musk, then after a few minutes i get some myrrh and amber, maybe a hint of honey. later on the saffron comes through. overall it's a red musk with a fuzzy warmth and a bit of cool iris root to balance it out. very pretty and though the red musk is the strongest note, i think the other notes make it a bit more subtle than it can be.

i get a lot of moss and cypress at first, equally balanced by the incense. after a few seconds I get a hint of florals from the calla lilies. overall it's a mossy incense with subtle floral-amber nuances. so pretty, i might need more of this one.

this opens with moonflower, musk and iris. It's definitely sheer and diaphanous. After a minute or so the tobacco flower peeks out a bit. then after more time passes, I get something slightly dusty and/or smoky…maybe the frankincense and myrrh, but it is very subtle. Overall i get moonflower, iris and musk as the strongest notes- it's a wispy slightly green floral with subtle smoky nuances in the background. very pretty for spring or late winter.

i agree this is a beautiful, somewhat indolic lilac...the moss is present in the background with lilac as the starring note. after awhile it's a realistic lilac with greenery. so lovely for spring.

Mallow Flower, Honeysuckle, and Vanilla Bean
theseagrows replied to Silvertree's topic in Duets & Menage A Trois
i know it's honeysuckle, but i had a ylang ylang ice cream once, and it's reminding me of this. i guess the combination of notes is giving it that feel, instead of straight up honeysuckle, though they are both heady yellow flowers, so it makes sense. i think the mallow flower comes out a little later and softens the honeysuckle note a bit. into the drydown, i get something a bit rubbery/plasticky...maybe this is a vanilla that is doing it? besides that, i am really liking this. it's spring-y and a bit tropical.- 12 replies

i received a frimp of this awhile back and am finally trying it. it just smells like straight up orange blossom to me, with maybe a hint of orange rind and a woody petitgrain. i love orange blossom so i find this gorgeous and perfect for warmer weather.
