BPAL Madness!

Fuel and fire for speaking out against injustice: a heap of warm spiced funnel cakes with a scoop of coffee ice cream.

Proceeds from this scent will be donated to the American Civil Liberties Union. To learn about how the ACLU will be challenging Trump’s agendas in court, visit them here.

Note: If you are confused, the original scent description on the website said cinnamon ice cream. It was mentioned that this was an error and that it should actually be coffee ice cream in a live sniff on Thanksgiving.

So I am one of the people who bought this not realizing it had coffee ice cream, and I probably wouldn't have picked it up if I had. I really enjoy the smell of coffee but I don't like smelling like coffee.

I also didn't catch that there was a correction until just now.

Thankfully, the coffee note drops way, way back after about ten minutes. This is a beautiful funnel cake scent. It's sweet and spicy, a little creamy from the ice cream, but anchored by a hint of coffee. It's hard to say if it would be better without the coffee. I love the idea of a cinnamon ice cream but it's spicy on its own.

Glad I'm not crazy though! I definitely got this and was like...excuse me? Coffee? What?

Same here--I bought it because of the cinnamon ice cream, and was not happy to hear it was actually coffee ice cream.

But what a delicious blend! The coffee is present in the bottle and when first applied, but dials way back so the funnel cake can take the stage. It has a spicy-sweet element along with the warmth and creaminess of the coffee ice cream. This is a perfect funnel cake, and I am really glad to have a bottle!

Got this for the cinnamon, and apparently I amp coffee like woah because that is all I smell!!

I’ll let it rest a day or two and try again….

I love this version personally. Bpals coffee note never works for me..but it did here. The coffee ice cream smells like it's melting into the cinnamon funnelcake. Instant bottle purchase.

I'm always impressed by Beth's ability to release many MANY sweet-coffee blends in a short span of time that all smell and wear differently from one another!

Please Scream is an initial dollop of coffee ice cream deeply steeped in Turkish espresso - this is COFFEE coffee, and the diner might be a dive, but it's a CLASSIC, lovingly restored VINTAGE dive. The impression of Turkish-ness might be a result of the cinnamon and cardamom dusting the funnel cake; the cinnamon-and-cream also gives it a cozy horchata vibe.

The ice cream digests quickly, and I'm left with treacle-y Turkish espresso dregs and spiced, sugar-dusted funnel cake much more reminiscent of El Dia de los Reyes (minus that one's chocolatl/cocoa). The weardown on me is similar to  Pumpkin Spice Latte, but with stronger coffee notes and a different warm-baking-spice mixture.

This is almost all coffee on me, all the time! Coffee + a hint of spices. I do wish it were sweeter - I don't mind it as such, but I wish I got more ice cream and more funnel cake!

Mmmmm so so yummy! I love Please Scream, and have been surprised how often I like wearing it!!

in the bottle: freshly brewed espresso! all the coffee vibes! I also get a tiny bit of the spices in the funnel cake, like coffee/espresso brewed with cinnamon, and maybe you're also frying up some pancakes as you give your coffee a sniff before pouring the creamer in

wet: still lots of espresso and cinnamon, and the cake starts to come out a bit as well. I get a creamy-ness as well, coming from the ice cream aspect, but it's really not milky, more just very sweet! feels like it's giving something for the coffee to hold on to.

dry: so I wore this one all day and just reapplied as I was reviewing. I took note before reapplying, I still had a coffee element going on, but somehow towards the end of the fade out, what I catch reminds me of tootsie rolls! and I'm not mad about it lol.

overall, this one has been perfect for me lately, leaving the house in a hurry, still drinking my coffee and I can wear a nice perfume without feeling like I'm drinking a bouquet or incense stick like most of my other faves lol. Great foody scent!
