doomsday_disco Report post Posted August 21 Rare, reclusive, and devoted to contemplation, Chartreuse Dragons make their home in high, wooded monasteries carved into moss-draped cliff faces. Its scales shimmer in shifting tones of yellow-green, laced with the scent of lime rind, crushed apothecary herbs, and translucent vegetal musks.
Invidiana Report post Posted September 7 (edited) This dragon is redolent of summer grass and mossy rocks warmed by sunlight under an open sky. The coolness of weathered wood and stone from ancient monasteries is carried gently on a breeze swirling with sheer musks and arcane magic. It is a breath of pristine cliffs where only monks and dragons dwell, a realm of dreams in hazy green with glimpses of yellow as daylight reflects off the lounging dragon’s scales. DigitalCoyote Report post Posted September 21 Wet: Let's lay in some fresh, verdant, herby grass. The lime helps brighten this quite a bit--it's the peel/lime oil vs lime juice. Semidry/dry: ...am I minty now? Not like toothpaste: like a good tea where you can get whiffs of it wafting out of the drinking hole of your Thermos but it might smack you in the face if you open it up. Helladry: Irish Spring but better. I smell like I just bathed. It's not soapy, just very clean citrus greenery. The grass note is gone. This isn't very loud on me so it might be a good pick for those who prefer their scents to stay closer to their skin rather than announce their arrival or hint they were once in the room. patina Report post Posted September 24 Gorgeous in vial, sunlight-dappled lime green. Citrus can get sharp on me but this is lovely. My experience is that lime normally disappears early and moss takes over scents but we'll see. On my skin, very slightly soapy. Moss with herbs and citrus, really getting the sense of mossy rocks. doomsday_disco Report post Posted October 7 Chartreuse Dragon is a fresh scent on my skin. I'm mostly getting the green apothecary herbs, which I'm unable to isolate, but they smell somewhat grassy. There's only a touch of lime, which is most noticeable during the wet phase, but it fades away pretty quickly. The musk resides in the background, but it also reads as clean to my nose. I would have liked more lime from this one.
splendidissima Report post Posted October 8 Green, herbal, bright, and very clean, as everyone else is saying! I get the lime while it's wet, and I do really like BPAL lime notes in general, so that's nice. It fades to green grass in the fresh air, sunny and summer-drenched. I don't really get rocks or moss, unless the latter is contributing to the 'green' medley overall!
ellocentipede Report post Posted Thursday at 01:06 AM I love this. 🥹 I agree with the above impressions, and especially that of Invidiana. This smells like a windswept castle on a seaside cliff. It’s cold, mossy, grassy, and clean. I’m personally happy to not get too much of the lime note, but I do sort of sense its presence in the background, and it’s maybe the reason for the seaside image in my head. It is a little soapy, but it’s clean and pretty, and I really love this sort of scent. ❤️
