doomsday_disco Report post Posted October 27, 2025 And when you crush an apple with your teeth, say to it in your heart: Your seeds shall live in my body, And the buds of your tomorrow shall blossom in my heart, And your fragrance shall be my breath, And together we shall rejoice through all the seasons. – Khalil Gibran, excerpt from “On Eating and Drinking” Crisp orchard air draped in morning dew, a bite of sun-warmed apple that bursts with honeyed clarity. The seeds carry whispers of tomorrow: green leaf, tender blossom, sapling wood. A breath both luminous and eternal, where fruit, flower, and branch entwine. a_bear Report post Posted November 25, 2025 On the container, the blossom/floral element is the strongest, but it is recognizably apple blossom. On application, it's a lovely dewy, crisp apple scent. It goes on fairly strong, but stays close to the skin once it's sunk in. At that point, it smells more similar to how it did in the container. The scent has serious staying power, I can still smell it although it's 23 hours after applying. It has faded quite a bit, but I'm surprised. The texture is maybe a bit thicker than a HoG body butter. I'm glad the decant I got was in a jar because that's just my preferred format generally, but I think it might be a bit thick for a squeeze bottle. I'll have to wear some more to see if it stands up to winter dryness.
FloridaFledgling Report post Posted Tuesday at 02:05 AM Unfortunately, for my wallet this is exceeding beautiful. The lotion itself is the perfect texture and blance for me. I have extremely dry skin and find that most lotion dissappears into my skin and does nothing. Or is super heavy and just sits on top of my skin. This lotion hydrates without disappearing or feeling greasy. Now for the scent, it has a nice medium throw. A little stronger than most lotions I've had in the past. The scent is the most beautiful apple note I've ever smelled, not artificial apple scent. A realistic apple that's between sweet and tart. A fall variety that is at peak ripeness asking you to bite into it. I might have to buy a backup bottle before Weenies come down.
Numanoid Report post Posted yesterday at 09:00 PM I got a sample in this from a decant circle. This smells so good! Reading the notes, it would have been something I wouldn't have bought, but I should learn by now that that usually isn't the case. This is soft and sweet and beautiful. I don't know if I can pinpoint what I am smelling or how to describe it, but I tend to go for foodie/gourmand scents, and I really love this. I get a hint of apple, but it isn't prominent. I think the other notes just balance it out perfectly. It is almost a scent relative to Snow White for me. Just with a bit of apple in it!

Reading the notes, it would have been something I wouldn't have bought In the same spot as Numanoid, got to try this when I would not have otherwise picked it out: I rarely want to smell like an apple. Fortunately, this is a really pleasant light atmospheric that could just as easily be worn in spring as in fall, and the apple itself is not super prominent to my nose. A lovely concoction for perfume layering enthusiasts since it has an agreeable, subtle scent and wonderful skin moisturizing properties, because as many have noted, the quality of the lotion is excellent.
