doomsday_disco Report post Posted October 27 And when you crush an apple with your teeth, say to it in your heart: Your seeds shall live in my body, And the buds of your tomorrow shall blossom in my heart, And your fragrance shall be my breath, And together we shall rejoice through all the seasons. – Khalil Gibran, excerpt from “On Eating and Drinking” Crisp orchard air draped in morning dew, a bite of sun-warmed apple that bursts with honeyed clarity. The seeds carry whispers of tomorrow: green leaf, tender blossom, sapling wood. A breath both luminous and eternal, where fruit, flower, and branch entwine. a_bear Report post Posted 8 hours ago On the container, the blossom/floral element is the strongest, but it is recognizably apple blossom. On application, it's a lovely dewy, crisp apple scent. It goes on fairly strong, but stays close to the skin once it's sunk in. At that point, it smells more similar to how it did in the container. The scent has serious staying power, I can still smell it although it's 23 hours after applying. It has faded quite a bit, but I'm surprised. The texture is maybe a bit thicker than a HoG body butter. I'm glad the decant I got was in a jar because that's just my preferred format generally, but I think it might be a bit thick for a squeeze bottle. I'll have to wear some more to see if it stands up to winter dryness.
