doomsday_disco Report post Posted April 25 Looks like someone’s been nibbling a bit too much grass! A sun-faded, plasticky shell of rice milk and marshmallow illuminated from within by 420 watts of weed-wafted glowing green amber.
lithie Report post Posted April 26 This is lovely, but I'm sad to report I get zero weed from this! Other than the fact that my bunny is not as high I was hoping, this scent is more than the sum of it's parts. Like the other blow molds, it IS reminiscent of a sun-faded plastic bunny. It's all the best parts of rice milk and marshmallow and a soft glowing amber blended together. I really love it. Maybe I'll get lucky and the weed will emerge with a little more rest....? Little Bird Report post Posted May 7 I cannot smell any of the weed note in this either. It has one of the strongest rice milk notes I've ever tried, though. I haven't had good luck with the blow mold scents but I couldn't resist rice milk and marshmallow. The rice milk is surprisingly the strongest note, sweetened lightly by the marshmallow, giving off a cool toned, super creamy, slightly sweet, vanilla-y scent. It also smells a little buttery, which I like. Starts off creamy and lotion-y and settles into a sweeter vibe as it dries down. I don't love the plastic and powdery, dusty, slightly animalic amber, though. I find myself wishing that it were just the rice milk and marshmallow because the other notes smell off in an otherwise gourmand and creamy fragrance. That said, while I don't love the plasticy tone of the blow mold scents, it does really make me think of Easter in this blend. Specifically, this reminds me of a plastic Easter basket filled with plasticy, fake grass, Peeps, and good white chocolate. Then the amber throws me off. I can't decide if this is ultimately wearable for me or if it falls into the category of an atmospheric curiosity that I'll sniff every once in a while and never actually wear. elissamay Report post Posted May 9 (edited) This is the first BPAL weed perfume where I can actually smell the weed, but it doesn't come through until it's on the skin and I take a deeeeeeeeeeeeeeep toke off my own arm. Creamy rice milk and marshmallows with a little amber glow, and then that green and glorious weed following far behind. Very fun and enjoyable. Bambi Bloodlust Report post Posted May 23 Oooh this is so fun! Sniffing the bottle I get a strong almost vanilla rum scent, sweet and alcoholic almost. On the skin there in less rummy smell. My initial impression is very vanilla, marshmallow, rice-milk. It's sweet and creamy with a blooming fruity floral emerging alongside it. There is almost a fruity cereal, or candy-like quality and just the smallest hint of green herbaciousness. I don't get a true to life funky skunky cannabis smell at any point. It's more like a candy flavored vape or just a hint of sugar-dusted fresh buds. After settling in it has this overall vibe of fancy shampoo or a misting of hairspray, I think it's the glowing amber taking the stage. Smells a little electric like dust on a hot lightbulb. This is a very atmospheric and evocative scent. It reminds me of my youth and days in the theater, glowing warm stage lights, a cloud of hairspray, amber vanilla perfumed skin, and teenage rebellion. 😉 I think it's a good match to the lab's description and I agree with and love Little Bird's Easter basket analogy as well! doomsday_disco Report post Posted Wednesday at 04:06 PM So I get some non-skunky weed at first with the marshmallow and the plastic-y note that is present in some capacity in all of the blow mold scents, but then this immediately becomes a sugared dark musk (but not black musk) dominant scent on me. I believe it is one of the musks found in Smut, but it has been so long since I've smelled that, that I can't be sure. I don't dislike it (even though I don't love Smut), but the plasticy amber note that characterizes this as a blow mold scent keeps me from enjoying this more. I also wish I got more of the rice milk and marshmallow from this. Of the two 4/20-themed Easter scents from this year, Four and Twenty Blackbirds is more of my jam. theredkilt Report post Posted Saturday at 02:59 PM (edited) The weed infused green amber is singing on my skin. It's got a tangy/sharp/ acrid bite. The milky marshmallow creeps up on the weedy green amber. I think the weed acrid edge wears off, but it's still hovering above the marshmallow milky goodness.
