Jenjin Report post Posted February 27 Distillation, the veil of steam. Condensation gathering in clouds of tulle, white tea, aqua vitae, rosemary liqueur, and bourbon vanilla.
artisjok Report post Posted March 24 The Sixth Veil is just amazing. I’m getting a strong rosemary Florida Water-type scent and the bourbon vanilla. I’ve been a little over the bourbon vanilla recently, because it’s pretty strong in the scents I already have with it, but here it really melds in well without being overbearing or too similar to other variations. I love rosemary, so I’m glad it’s got a good amount of heft here. I wore it out on a sunny day in nature and felt lifted and pretty. I’ll be wearing it a lot now the weather is getting warm (hot), and will work at teasing out the complexities of all the notes the next times.
Biocarbons Report post Posted April 15 This started out as cold steam with screechy rosemary booze and white tea, but settled into this refreshing tea and steam smell. I think this would be very refreshing to wear on a hot day.
doomsday_disco Report post Posted April 15 This is mostly about the rosemary liqueur and the bright white tea on me. There's nothing overtly fabric-y to my nose, and while the vanilla is more noticeable after the scent has been dry for several hours, it is not a main player on me. I'll have to retest this before it goes away to see if I need more of this, but I'll definitely be keeping the decant! I agree that it would be refreshing to wear during the warmer months (and we've already hit 90 degrees in April, so I guess that means now ).
GalliumSpider Report post Posted April 20 This one's very refreshing and light--it reminds me of Embalming Fluid.
bheansidhe Report post Posted April 21 (edited) This is mostly a gin-coded perfume on me with fresh laundry notes - like Swank crossed with Dirty. There's vanilla silk at the drydown. Edited April 21 by bheansidhe
Follow My Nose Report post Posted 23 hours ago Sniffed in bottle and wet on skin: immediately getting strong rosemary and booze; I almost thought it was juniper at first and wondered if there was a gin note, but my nose was just confused about the rosemary Drying down: the boozy note quickly disappears and the tea & other herbaceous scents make an appearance so it's less of a rosemary-only herbal brew; this is becoming dry and green and quite refreshing Dry & settled: the vanilla finally shows up after it's dry on my skin, but stays soft in the background; the scent as a whole is still dry and herbal, and subtly woody to my nose; I would think of this as a non-gendered or masculine-leaning scent, bright and refreshing for sultry summer days I'm really glad that I impulsively grabbed a bottle of this, it's different from anything else in my collection!
