Jenjin Report post Posted August 31, 2024 A surprisingly sensual and voluptuous peach blend.
samanare Report post Posted September 10, 2024 Resiny peach. This is more of a peach and resin duo on me. It doesn't smell roasted to me, but I do get a velvety quality. While I cannot pick out the rose, I think it's adding to the labdanum and the sweet fruitiness of the peach. I almost get a vague wine or candy quality to it, but it's hard to pin down. Overall, this brings to mind peaches, on a bed of velvet, and surrounded by resin.
topazphoenix Report post Posted September 20, 2024 I only smelled the "roasted" component of this when I compared it to blends that had fresh peach. It's definitely 'cooked' peach in there. But it's still got enough life to stand up to the labdanum. I get the "velvet" quality too. There's something magical about the simplicity of these notes and how they play together so well. ✨️
white_jenna63 Report post Posted October 13, 2024 I was worried about the rose not in this, but I shouldn't have been. I couldn't pick out it or the labdunum. I got a sweet peach with something warm, but not spicy in the background. It finally faded to something that smelled like lotion or skin cream. I didn't love it, but I kept sniffing my wrists, if that makes sense?
LavenderCoffee Report post Posted October 16, 2024 I ordered a decant of this because even though peach notes don't always work for me, I haven't met many roses I don't like, so I was hoping for a win. This vial was smashed in transport unfortunately, but the labels of its friends carried the scent for days and I was not mad about it! Luckily I snagged a partial bottle and I'm finally getting around to a skin test. Neither the peach nor the rose dominate the scent on application. These two divas are content to canoodle in the embrace of velvety resins. It becomes more resiny-peach on balance as it dries, while remaining subtle and sensual, accurate to the description. I might wear this more often in a locket to stretch the duration of the rose, but I'm quite pleased to have it!
Lucchesa Report post Posted July 25 Rose is generally not my thing, but roasted peach and labdanum sounded delicious, so I was thrilled to get to try this, and the decant is a keeper. I get very little rose, mostly a rich resiny peach. It does feel velvety and more grown-up than some fruity blends.
