Cypress, immortelle, and white amber enveloping red spider lily petals,
dragon’s blood resin, and black plum.

A single, spectral bloom tucked amidst the cypress trees; rainwater which has caught the reflection of the moon; the shimmering peal of a cracked bell at the 13th hour--

I'm trying this directly out of the mail, so impressions are subject to change.

In the vial, I get a whiff of straight up sweet, cherry-like dragon's blood. This changes immediately to become cypress-dominant (fortunately it's piney cypress instead of cat pee cypress, if you know you know) upon application and gradually balances out as the perfume dries. Over time, the cypress becomes fruitier and fruitier and a backdrop of chrysanthemum develops.

I recognize this chrysanthemum from Calavera Catrina. Chrysanthemum isn't in the notes list but it's what I'm detecting - maybe the immortelle note is similar.

What remains after everything seems to have settled down is a sizable cloud of purple fruit mist, slightly embittered by chrysanthemums. "Cloud" because it seems to have a relatively large throw but isn't overpowering.

I suspect this may have a very different progression on different people, but for me it was 100% dragon's blood in decant vial - 100% cypress immediately after applying to skin - cypress and plums as it dries - cypress, plums, and chrysanthemums later as it dries - plums and chrysanthemums - amber?

Verdict: Neat! Not really "me," but an enjoyable experience nonetheless.

Lily notes tend to amp on me (fortunately I love them), and this is no exception! The red spider lily note is a creamy, sweet, spicy, juicy lily that really speaks to my favorite sort of lily notes. This is the leading note of the scent from the moment my skin gets involved.

In roughly equal prominence behind the beautiful lily note are a tangy, juicy plum, currently being sliced and dripping juices, along with a bright, sharp, resinous dragon's blood. They balance out the different elements of the lily well.

The cypress and immortelle (and maybe the amber, but I'm not really finding the amber of its own accord) are faint and quiet in the background, but they create an ambiance of an evergreen forest with a stream and flowers blooming along its banks.

I love the balance of this on my skin, and it really blooms from the scent in the bottle.

this smells like fresh lily - green, actual bouquet.

the dragons blood gives it a slight spiciness and dimension, with a sweet depth from the plum. i’m surprised i liked this one; i got it for the name and because i like plum and the idea of spider lilies. not sure if i’ll full size, but i may

Not very seasoned at trying to describe florals but here goes. Dabbed it on for my scent of the day hoping to feel like a haunting mysterious beauty. Then went about my business to run errands out and about town. This is how it went:

First, right after applying it out of the bottle, I was hit with what I can describe as a misty, wet kind of floral scent. The best way I can describe it is like walking into a grocery store enclosed area where they sell fresh whole bouquets of flowers, all kept misted and humidified. The scent is like the sum of different flowers, leaves, stems and all, and this refreshing, cool and misty haze. It was intoxicating.

And then, sadly it drastically changed on the drydown, maybe because of my skin chemistry. A sharpness began to emerge on the drydown, and the wet misty scent vanished. The florals began to scream, flowers with thorns. Flowers with the Horton hears a Who with everyone in whoville on the flowers screaming "we are here we are here we are here"! So the flowers were all I could smell, with that sharpness. The ghost in the title of the bottle, screeching like the Edvard Munch Scream painting while holding a flower bouquet, the petals wilting and falling off slowly with her wrath from being left at the altar by her lover.

All this insanity while I was out shopping, and my head began to hurt. I really wanted to love it, but alas.

I didn't love this in the vial or freshly applied. It was just kinda meh spicy floral with something kinda funky around the edges, but as soon as it starts to warm and dry on my skin it quite literally blooms into velvety lily petals with a really nice dragonsblood wafting around. The woodier/haylike notes get stronger as it wears and it's warm, spicy, woody floral that manages to stay airy and light enough to not be oppressive in hot humid summer weather. This went from meh to the FS contender list.
