    hard to pin down, so much has to with season and mood but I do try to keep on hand crowley, cairo, kali, snake oil, sin, defutata, lady of shallot, and I desperately miss shadow witch orchid, fairy market, and blood countess. favorite notes...I love amber, musks, vanilla, quality rose fragrance, jasmine, sandalwood, myrrh, frankinsence,neroli, herbal fragrances, chocolate...actually, it's be easier to list what I don't like. I'm not to fond of smelling like fruit. Single note reaspberry or peach or such things. I love amber, vanilla and a splash of neroli well mixed

About Me

I'm in my mid forties and currently living in the corn grids of Indiana in the United States. I live alone with a very small tuxedo cat :wub2: named contessa Antonia du aria de La amour. As you know the smaller the cat the bigger the name is required or they become offended.

I am disabled with visual and physical disabilities, but managing to live independently. I read incessantly, mostly science fiction and fantasy but also enjoy horror, history, O heck, it is easier to say what I don't like to read which is basically westerns and bodice rippers.

I discovered bpal through an online friend who kindly sent me some imps. Due to my poor vision I have a very good sense of smell so this was a wonderful discovery for me. I find that often my depression is lifted by a little fragrance in my life. Unfortunately, it seems as soon as I fall in love with a scent it seems to get discontinued. Oh how I miss shadow witch orchid, blood countess, and many others.

I have a few friends on live journal who occasionally add to my bpal addiction fund so I occasionally place an order. Due to allergies I seldom get to order things I have not had a chance to try a sample of such as limited editions. Would be depressing to order a more expensive bottle to only find would make me a ill. I have heard about the decanting circles and am wondering how one could participate if one did not have limited editions to also contribute. How does one decant anyway?

I think I have a lot to learn.
