  1. Today I received a big beautiful popup card from Heather - Thank you so much for the kindness that led you to send this to me. I will open it and paste the amazon note from you into it.

    Bless'ed Solstice to everyone.

  2. Thank you for the kind words @Lucchesa and @doomsday_disco

It's really hard right now. Just getting through the day and working. Not having her beside me all day every day. Missing her face, her support, and presence.

I hope everyone is taking care. I wish I could show myself compassion. It's so hard to do.

  3. Than you for the kind words, Lucchesa. I am having a hard time with this amount of grief. I've never experienced so much.

    Thank you skyelyric.

I finally opened the 3 cards I've received. A beautiful watercolor of an iris from Lucchesa, and a sweet note. A pretty card of the moon and night sky with an actual long note :) from skyelyric.

A witchy card from moonminx, and a sweet postcard from thuy.

    Thank you for them.

    I am missing one.

  4. I am sorry for no updates. My beloved companion passed today. I don't have words for the loss. She is/was my guardian/guide. I'm alone here, and truly wish some of you were closer to Eugene, OR. The past 4 months of having her in my hospice care, and then the last 2-3 weeks have been....no adequate words. I've run myself mad doing anything and everything for her. I pray she is still here with me tonight. The vet who came had a terrible bedside manner as well. Thankfully my ex was here with us. He helped me with making some decisions, but he said he hated the vet.....If anyone can call or talk who has had a guardian animal in their life, I would appreciate it greatly. my phone is 719 722 0725.

As for the cards, I have received 3 and a postcard, and I have not had the time, energy or brain to sit down and enjoy opening them yet. Hopefully this weekend.

  5. I have 2 unopened cards, ones from skylyric and the Other from Lucchesa, sitting on my table. I am waiting for a quiet moment when I'm relaxed to open them, and will post a photo of all of them when they arrive.

  6. Have the box in hand. Opened it and am overwhelmed and want to pare down the obvious things - I mean, I see stuff in here from the last time I had this box, which was when I was in Colorado for gawds sake. Maybe 2021? Anyways, it'll be fun looking through this.

Oof. So I totally dropped the ball on this in the chaos that has been my life the past few months. Sorry y'all!

I will try to get this moving in the next week!

No worries! had a feeling you were dealing with life.

I was thinking about this too- I sent five boxes, Priority, to a dear friend willing to run eBay sales for me, and two boxes showed up damaged- one of them was almost two weeks later in arrival than the others and the box was split entirely on one side, with broken bottles left in a plastic post office basket on her doorstep! I didn't consider getting additional insurance and now I'm deeply regretful, as their negligence did hundreds of dollars in damage. :cry2:

    That's a horror story indeed :(

I sent a simple bubbleope to a dear friend, bought and printed a prepaid label as I always do, and it literally traveled from Oregon to NJ, back and forth THREE TIMES before it was finally returned to me on Monday for no good reason. Covered in markings and refused to deliver even though my friend's address was correct and she receives regular mail there.  Total time wasted? 35 days.
