Candles or Soap: Black #1, Once Bitten, Spooky Season, Sanderson Spice, Lavender Pumpkin
Also/Or (not Halloween): Sex Machine, Hunter's Moon, Midnight Rider, Lavender Fields
Anything from Sock Dreams catch your eye? (https://sockdreams.com)
I have huge feet (12 US women) and plus size calves (ice skating + horseback riding) so most socks really aren't my thing. That being said, in the Plus Size section I like:
Moon Phases crew and Just a Phase crew
I live in France, and we have some great tea here! Most folks know about Mariage Freres but may I suggest Damman Freres? Here's the link- they're still in summer mode, but I assure you, autumnal teas will grace their pages soon! (https://www.dammann.fr/en/)
Now we're talking!!! I love loose leaf tea, mostly black but I do like a few tissanes (mostly ones with licorice root or perhaps hibiscus.) I love rose, lavender, anise/fennel/licorice, vanilla, butterscotch, peach, honey, jasmine...
I do not like coffee in my tea, nor do I like rooibos, honeybush, mate, or puer eh. Or chamomile.
If you could find me a tea that is black with apples and fennel, I would be so happy! There was one from August tea called Dots and Loops with that mix and it was soooo good. Now discontinued of course.
I still have some live Mariage Freres links on my amazon beverages list but all of the Damman links were dead.
From Damman what catches my eye so far:
Black flavored:
Pink (black tea & rose)
Bourbon (black tea, vanilla, caramel)
Nosy Bey (black tea, vanilla, peach)
Licorice!!! (black tea, licorice)
Caramel (black tea, caramel, chocolate)
Vineyard Peach (black tea, peach)
Violet (black tea, violet)
Spice Flakes (black tea, orange, gingerbread)
Christmas in Provence (black tea, honey, fig, strawberry)
Smokey Black: (just one smokey, lol)
Smokey Lapsang
Smokey Tarry
Smokey Crocodile
Fujisan Souchong
Sakura Souchong
Souchong Malt
Oolong:
Milk Oolong Original (oolong, cream)
Herbal:
Fennel Mint
Mint Licorice
Cocoa:
Cocoa Spices
Cocoa Orange
Do you see anything you need from Paintbox Soapworks Weenie Update?
Fairytale Bath Struesel, The Grey Hound wax melts.
From "Season of the Witch": Black Sun bath streusel
Speaking of updates, anything from Haus of Gloi's Fall offerings speak to you?
scents: Blood Orange Marshmallow, Ghost Puffs
mediums: fall soy wax tarts, candles, refresher spray, sugar exfoliants
Also, I know we have barely scratched the surface in knowing what the Lab will release for Weenies, but a wishlist couldn't hurt, so what'll it be?
Not weenies per se, but I would be interested in trying Snake Bouquet and Snake in the Grass. Maybe Pumpkin Funnel Cake depending on how cakey and delicious it is. For weenies, In Night when Colors all to Black are Cast! I'm quite curious about Black Eyeliner, Plastic Rats, Gummi Fangs, Vintage Kitty Blow Molds, Devil Flash...
How do you feel about the pastel Halloween offerings that are out?
I like black and jewel tones and dark colors. No pastels please.
I'm one of those crafty sorts that make things. I make things by up cycling sweaters, for example - mittens, slippers, armwarmers (both solid or striped from multiple fabrics ). Could also make a tea cosy with a mat. I make bowls, mats & vessels from rope that I wrap with pretty cloth. So essentially, functional, useful fiberart. What might you like? Long striped armwarmers? A pair of slippers, decadently lined in cashmere?
I would love things like the tea cosy with mat, bowls, vessels, etc. I am too warm 99.999999% of the time and wearables would be wasted on me.
do you have an amazon wishlist to be sure I don't duplicate a book?
Yes, it's in my signature in the circular swap help.
Do you have a Halloween Tree? Do you need ornaments?
Yes and yes and yes and yes and ... yes. I also need a little tree skirt for my tiny tree. One with black and white spiral stripes would be amazing. Maybe 2 feet in diameter?
Do you have an Etsy wishlist?
Yes, also linked in circular swap help.
As of this writing, Dragon Con Peach Pit scents have been revealed! Anything on your wishlist?
The Gamboge Dragon atmosphere spray sounds interesting as does the Cerise Dragon hair gloss. Maybe Bastard-Amber dragon perfume oil. I would be happy with decants.
I am a bit known for my extremely light-weight hand crafted hair falls (I typically make them out of a combination of yarns, batting, and bits of up cycled silks and lace). Would you like one (for a pony tail effect) or two (for a pigtail effect)? If so, name two or three colors and any allergies to fibers I should know about.
I never go anywhere and I have a mostly shaved head so probably not.
Do you have use for witchy supplies? Herbs, oils, crystals, etc. If so, what types and for what purpose(s)?
I love all kinds of witchy supplies but I don't have anything in mind right now.
Would you be interested in custom artwork, such as a painting? If so, what mood, theme, colors, style, etc. would you be excited to see? If there's a dream, a dnd character, a favorite fairy tale, deity, etc. you'd love it to capture, spill those deets - including anything you wouldn't want (nudity, size restrictions, whatnot).
Yassss! A painting or maybe a tattoo design?!? I now have four bats on my left arm along with with a moon. I would love more tattoos -- these ones are just flash from Friday the 13th specials. I'd love a huge bat on my back whose wings wrap around me (there is some armor in Diablo IV that is similar to what I'd like, lol), an ankh, celtic or nordic inspired horses, hippocampus (fairy tale creature), dogs (blue pit bulls especially), ravens, bats.... I'm partial to black and white monochrome, blues/purples/blacks/greys, gothic, celtic, nordic, etc.
I'm in Japan, anything specific you would want from here?
Delicious kit kats of course! I don't know what else is available though. And I do get the imported kit kats here at Hmart and World Market, so maybe if there exclusive flavors available only there? Anything Rabbit in the Moon (soy sauce dish, large mug, something useful.)
I just got back from Mongolia and brought a bunch of small souvenirs, how do you feel about small things from random countries?
It really depends .. I have so much clutter that I don't especially want knick knacks or things that sit on flat surfaces with no purpose.
I make custom ita rosettes/cases (pics here to explain what I mean https://tinyurl.com/mwtwmvfm. Is that something you might be interested in? If so, what type/colors/size/etc. etc.
I'm sorry, these are not my style. Gorgeous though!
Snorg tees (http://snorgtees.com) has some hilarious and awesome new shirts. They are also reasonably priced. Please give me 3 of your fav designs and tee size/color if available for a color option.
Pretty much any of the Monty Python, Princess Bride, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Lydia Deetz, Don't Blink (Doctor Who), Firefly, Don't Torture Yourself (that's my job), Nightmare before Coffee, Haters Gonna Hate Pit, Krampus ones, some of the Stranger Things, etc.
Women's Signature, always black or grey, probably a 3xl.
BloomChic (http://bloomchic.com) has some pretty fun plus and smaller size halloween fashions. If you so desire, give me your top 3 favs with sizes!
I'm an 18/20 from Lane Bryant, so maybe from here too? I like the skeletal rib invisible zipper romper (black) but maybe in a larger size - 3x? The color block bats button down shirt, probably in the 2x. Bat print stretchy textured zipper hoodie maybe in the 4x? I like over size zip up hoodies.
I like making little flower arrangements with fake flowers; would you be interested in a mini bouquet (think, something that would fit in a bud vase)? If so, any seasonal/color scheme requests?
No, it would just be a dust catcher for me.
Feelings on candles/wax melts?
I don't burn candles a lot because I'm too hot and they raise the temperature a bit. I do like both candles and wax melts though, mostly because I am a scent hoar.
Feelings on crocheted wall art/mandalas? Color scheme requests?
No thank you.
Jumping in as *I think* the only Australian, is there anything specifically Australian you might like? I think Tim Tams are probably the most commonly coveted/procured goodie I could offer.
I can get imported Tim Tams here, so I'm good on that. Maybe a special Australian Starbucks card? (doesn't need money on it.) Or a demitasse size Starbucks city / country cup? (full size is welcome too, but I don't use travel mugs much.) I think I saw some Rabbit in the Moon ones and was coveting those. (I love Rabbit in the Moon.)
I also have a local tea blender just down the street from me if there is anything from there you might like to try https://teahouse-the-tea-specialty-shop.myshopify.com/
Black tea: Copenhagen Blend, Rose Grey, Russian Caravan, Tarry Lapsang Souchong, any of the organic black unflavored.
I have a wonderful coffee roaster near me, wood-roasted, small batch, regular and decaf, all roast types. It's so good, I won't buy coffee anywhere else, and I only drink dark roast decaf. IF this sounds good, whats your coffee desire, and beans or grind size? They are also a FULLY geeked out space with every video and arcade game known. so I would also send a sticker from them, so also include your favorite old 70's-80's cartoons or fandoms.
Dark roast ftw! I love flavored or just dark roast. Ground to go into a keurig (I use the self fill cups.) Ummmm I can't think of any fav 70-80's cartoons or fandoms that I would want a sticker of. I'm sure there is one, I just can't think of it. Massive brain fog, this is my life.
I’m dying to knit my Witchee something lovely, as long as it would be appreciated. I can’t commit to a big project in the time frame, but socks, a hat, a cowl, arm warmers, or a shawlette for your neck and shoulders could definitely be doable if that would be enjoyed. Just let me know colour preferences, or fibre preferences/allergies.
So I am the weirdo who is too hot 99.999999% of the time and usually I am wearing shorts and a shelf bra cami and nothing else. And am still too hot. But if you wanted to make amigurumi or something, I'm down with that! I love bats, horses, unicorns, dragons, etc. I have a list of "Make For Me" patterns on my Ravelry favorites that has a bunch of knitted stuffies.
I sew clothing and costume, if you could have any garment made just for you what would it be and what would it look like? You can include reference links/images or just describe it.
Ooooh. Does it include leather or pvc or ... let me come back to this.
Do you enjoy stim toys or other fidgety items? I work near an amazing store called Madam Clutterbuckets Neurodiverse Universe that caters to neuroduvergents as well as employing entirely Neurodiverse staff and supporting lots of ND and disabled artists. I live buying stickers, patches, art fidgets and kicknacks. Would you be interested in anything? Website is here but there's way more in store: https://www.madamclutterbuckets.com/
They have a cute bat sticker! My fidgets are usually a ring or knitting or my tablet. I'm rarely without the tablet/phone or knitting. I did look at their fidgets and it made me anxious, so I think the answer is no. I have sooo much "stuff". (I am AuDHD.)
What is your size in say Tshirts? Pajamas?
From TeeTurtle I like the premium woman's in a 2x or 3x. Pajama's I usually wear mens (pockets!) and maybe 2x or 3x.
Do you like Halloween socks? Any particular style or image/character?
I don't really wear socks anymore. I would be ok with quality socks, usually black, and I like moons, skulls, skeletons, pit bulls, Nightmare Before Christmas, etc. I don't do well with one size fits all since I have huge feet, and I don't do well with the mass produced nylon socks from China. I prefer cotton or wool socks.
I was fortunate enough to be gifted an entire collection of the Flower Letters-Lily Clara series. It's a story told through beautifully illustrated letters, pictures, diagrams, post cards etc. One snail mail letter at a time. This one is a story of a entreprenurial woman during the silver rush in the West and a bit of a mystery. The letters and details are gorgeous. I've finished reading it, would you like me to pass it along to you, witchee?
No, I am good. That sounds lovely but my eyes are getting really bad and I tend to be really clumsy and have a hard time holding on to paper and things. I do my reading on my tablet now.
I make junk journals and paper crafts. I would probably have time to make a mini journal or a paper folio type thing. It would come decorated but with space to write and add your own touch or I could make a folio complete with address labels, stationery, stamps etc. to organize your writing goods. Would you like to receive one? My style is generally vintage but I could also do a Halloween one, winter holiday one, shabby chic or something of your suggestion.
Ooooh. I would love to receive one! I would love a theme of spooky with bats, crows, skulls, cats, dead trees -- but not halloween necessarily as no pumpkins or witches or ghosts or whatnot. I'm not sure if I would prefer a folio or a journal; I was looking at journals last night on etsy and added a bunch to my favorites (but I think that is private.) I might have added some to my stationery list on there. I was thinking wedding guestbook sort of journal (so at least 9x11 and doesn't need too many pages, certainly not 400!)
Snag tights have released their Halloween lines. Is there anything there that tempts you? https://snagtights.com/collections/halloween
No thank you, I am too fat for tights right now.
Is there anything you'd like from Lush? I will link to their US site, but obviously different countries have different versions. https://www.lush.com/us/en_us
I love LUSH so I'm afraid my list would be really long.
I will be placing my Dragon Con / Black Moon order *tonight* (8/31/25) -- PLEASE mention now *anything* you would like to receive from this or any recent updates so I can add it to my order! This will be the ONLY chance to get something from the Lab with enough time to receive it and send it on to you!!!
I already answered up thread.
I go to Disneyland Paris a few times a month as I have a pass- is there anything I can get for you? There are exclusive enamel Trader Pins, for instance. Of course, all the other types of goodies as well.
ALLLL of the Nightmare Before Christmas stuff!!! And I like the Haunted Mansion too.
Want any of the DragonCon Claw Polish?
Nope, I'm good. None of my colors there.
I have a Daiso opening near me next weekend. I'm going to the Grand Opening. Is there anything you want me to be on the lookout for?
I have no idea what they have but evidently we have a Daiso about 5-10 minutes away.
I'll be placing a Nocturne Alchemy order asap, anything from the Halloween update catch your attention? (https://nocturnealchemy.com/collections/limited-collection/products/new-halloween-limited-2025?variant=47186703188182 )
Wow, am I not getting the email from NAVA anymore?? *runs to look* Usually Halloween is easy because I'm no cinnamon, no apple (except in things like BPAL's Samhain), no pumpkin (usually), no leaves, lol. All of the vanilla, lavender, roses, amber, etc. though!!
From Halloween Limited Collection: (ends 10/31)
Eternal Ankh Pastel Candy Corn
New Moon
Bastet’s Ice Cream Candy Corn 25
From Halloween Resurgence: (ends 10/31)
Black Vanilla HONEY
Black Vanilla Kulfi
Black Amber Incense
Black Rose Amber Incense
Blood Moon
31 Bats Pandora
31 Bats Morticia
Would you be interested in a handwritten journal, filled with things about some of your favorite things, birthday lore, recipes, pretty pictures, stories, quotes, etc.?
oooh, recipes is a great idea. And stories!
Is there anything you absolutely DO NOT want, that hasn't come up elsewhere? This could be anything from "please, no more plush unicorns, I am drowning!" to "I have trypophobia."
No weird religious stuff unless it's for my weird religion (witching!) No orange pumpkins unless I'm eating them. I don't especially like the traditional Halloween "witches", ghosts, frankenstein's monster, zombies, etc. Clowns - for the love of all that is holy, no clowns. I don't need any hand or body lotion right now unless it's on my wish list specifically. No small coffee mugs (18oz and over is great since a lot of them have been breaking lately. I blame the 13 year old living here.) I think I already covered my sensitivities and allergies (jewelry/metal/bath and body stuff.) Ummm if getting me any kind of dried fruit or whatever, make sure it's organic if it's on the dirty dozen list. (EWG's 2025 updated one.)
If I were to send you a physical book, are there any genres/themes/authors you'd prefer not to encounter?
The only physical books I would want in most cases are cookbooks or fiber art books. (Picture or art books are different - like coffee table books.)
Is there a charity you would like me to donate to in your name?
Not right now.
If I could make you my fudge (not currently selling it, btw, but willing to make for SW witching, nacho witching, etc!), which of these flavors makes you drool :
Chocolate & Peanut butter, white chocolate berry, plain chocolate with or without nuts, Old fashioned penuche with or without nuts, peanut butter fudge, Chocolate with montmorency cherries, pumpkin pie fudge. Also possibly taking special flavor requests.
OMG the penuche without nuts is sooooooooo good. But the chocolate with cherries sounds good, as does the Matcha that was mentioned in thread.
anything from Dryad teas pique your interest? https://dryadtea.com/collections/all-tea
I collect tea pets too... I can't believe how prices have gone up on them! There used to be a ton on etsy! Anyway, there are a couple on this Dryad Teas wishlist.
https://dryadtea.com/pages/swym-share-wishlist?hkey=daa2dd96-eb67-48cf-a059-cbcc2506745f&lid=daa2dd96-eb67-48cf-a059-cbcc2506745f&utm_source=swym-Wishlist&utm_medium=shared-wishlist&utm_campaign=daa2dd96-eb67-48cf-a059-cbcc2506745f
I do canning and make lots of tasty condiments. Would you like to try some? Give me some flavor ideas. How do you feel about peach? Rhubarb? Tomato? Spicy or sweet? Spicy and sweet?
YES. I love peach! I love rhubarb! I like tomato in things like salsa or pasta / pizza sauce; someone made me some tomato jam once too! I like spicy AND sweet sometimes (candied jalapenos for example, or the "canon sweet hots" green chilies.) I also love sweet!
Poesie Tea (poesieperfume.com) what would you like?
Royal Wedding sounds interesting.
Would you enjoy overtly Australian things in your gift? Like indigenous spice blends, or Vegemite, I already mentioned Tim Tams, but there are lots of other fun things I could send. Also, if I were to include chocolate in your gift, would it be milk, dark, or white? Or is all chocolate good chocolate?
Can I have a wallaby? I'd really like one of those. I am preferring milk chocolate lately. Unless white chocolate has cocoa mass in it, it isn't chocolate imo. I like dark chocolate over truffles or caramels but not in bars. I can get vegemite here in the US no problem so pass. Maybe indigenous spice blends? Possum yarn? Yarn from an australian dyer?
Is there anything here that appeals? https://www.erstwilder.com/
I am sad that their bats and winged kitties are orange!! And that the skeletal doggo is a dachshund, lol. I do like the Full of Woe brooch! It's kind of spendy though, so I wouldn't expect it.
Are you interested in having some of this year's homemade peach jam?
If you are someone who makes jam and other things (dill pickles!! candied jalapenos!!), I shall be very pleased to receive such items.
Do you like bracelets? Can you wear soft stretchy polyester ones, like zox? (zox.co) If so, what size would you prefer? (s / m / l)
My question. I belong to the zox monthly club, so I'm inundated with bracelets. (I'm a large.)
Do you need any supplies or notions for any of your hobbies?
Both not really and always, haha. Ok, so I *always* need cables for my knitting needles. ChiaoGood Twist RED Cable Small - 30" or so is good. 37", 40", etc. 50" is getting a little too big. There are some on my fiber arts amazon wishlist.
I'd like to learn Tunisian Crochet but I would need the right hooks with cables (we're looking at $130 for the ChiaoGoo set, lol. So don't buy the Tunisian Crochet books in my Amazon fiber arts wishlist, don't have hooks yet!)
I need a Lazee Daizee Viking Knit tool for jewelry making (on my fiber arts amazon wishlist.)
I'd LOVE the Nightmare Before Christmas official knitting guide by Tanis Gray in some kind of hard copy (easier than reading on my kindle.) (on my fiber arts amazon wishlist.)
I'm absolutely ok with used pattern books!!!
Do you like plushies, like Squishables?
Sadly, I do love squishables. I only get them on major sale though. Bats, crows, and gargoyles all welcome from both squishables and squishmallows. Or other cute ones; I have a huge purple bat from a small indie company that my partner got for me; it sits on my desk next to my monitors.
Do you like caramels? We have a local caramel maker who vends at our farmers markets. Any of these flavors sound good? https://jonboycaramels.com/collections/buy
F yes, all of the caramels, chocolate covered caramels, salted caramels, caramel sauce.. I like all of the flavors EXCEPT espresso because I'm a weirdo. I love the taste of coffee only as coffee. I love the smell of coffee only as coffee. I do not want it in my other food or bath and body. 🤷♀️
My son makes mead, would you like to try a sample?
My question; but if you have mead around you in smaller bottles and it's sweet (none of this dry or semi-dry stuff) then yes please!
We made rose petal liqueur and lavender vanilla liqueur; are you interested in having a sample of either?
I don't actually drink very often and only in very small quantities and only when it's freezing outside, but I do love interestingly flavored liqueurs and vodka. Nip bottles are more my speed.
Is there anything specifically Pacific Northwest or Seattle themed that you would like?
I'm good. I do love trying local favorites, so if you have anything that screams "LOCAL FAVORITE" to you from your home, feel free to share with me.
Maeve Chocolate (formerly Seattle Chocolates) has "seconds" bags; are you interested in some imperfect chocolates? Which flavors? https://maevechocolate.com/collections/truffle-chocolate-bars?
My question. (My favorite is the San Juan truffle bar.)
Trader Joes is getting their seasonal things in. If you don't have a TJ's by you, is there anything you want? https://www.traderjoes.com/home/discover/stories/fall-products-2025
I shall be going and rolling around in all of the maple flavored things (the maple bread is so evil and delicious) as well as the chocolate mousse pumpkins and the pumpkin kringle.
Wyrding Studios just posted a new update. Do any of these appeal to you, witchee? https://wyrdingstudios.com/collections/in-the-waiting-woods
Nothing from the new update appeals to me, but I do love some of the UV glowing necklaces and bracelets! (Fauxfire #2!) probably 24".
Tis the season for planner people. Are you one? If so what is your planner poison of choice and do you need/want supplies and if so, what type do you want?
Planner? I use google calendar. I'm not up to much except doctor appointments and it's easy sharing calendars so I know when the hell spawn or Partner have things to do.
Do you feel like you need some leggings, dearest witchee? https://shopnatopia.com/collections/halloween-25
Wow, those are cute. I love the Moonlit Bats and Gothic Glam. I would absolutely love the deluxe pocket capri or long style. I'm an 18/20 at Lane Bryant but I'm always nervous with new companies that they might run small? Partner loves me to wear leggings around the house more than I love to wear leggings, lol, but I do wear them under dresses (like the short sleeved twirl dresses with pockets from Svahausa.com or skater dresses with short sleeves from other places (svahausa's have a tank top... I need sleeves!)
Dearest Witchee, I'll be in London shortly- anything specifically British you'd enjoy? This could be marmalade or tea or Marmite or gothy clothing or a Union Jack something or other. Literally anything- name it!
Tea, gothy clothing, yes yes. Wine gums? A cute Scottish highlander man? (only if he's ok with sharing me with my partner)
Do you prefer things to be individually wrapped so you can open them when you need a boost, or is putting them in one box unwrapped okay?
Totally up to you!!
I’m about to make myself an order here, and was wondering if anything might also appeal to you, dearest of witchee’s https://www.etsy.com/shop/khallion
I actually already have items from her store on my etsy wishlist. I don't think I have the Misbehave pin yet. There are a bunch of prints under artwork (etsy) and some postcards under "cards and stationary type things", like inigo montoya (Avenge)
Dearest witchee, is there anything here that catches your eye? https://ateliercoco-store.com/en-au
Not really my style.
Interested in any of these? Halloween 2025 – Witch Baby Soap or here MoonaLisa: A Supernatural Clean
Northing catches my eye from Witch Baby's Halloween but some of their regular catalog looks fun. (Aphrodite Face Soap or Morpheus Face Soap, Black Mass bath bomb, Charity Bath Bomb, Dragon's Blood bath bomb, Dragon's Blood soap, Heartbreak Hotel body scrub, Hellhound Scrub, Laid out in Lavender bath bomb, Lunar Tide face mask, Psychic bath bomb, Psychic body scrub, Psychic Soap, Rune Stone bath bomb, Spooky Cat bath bomb, Virgo body butter, Honey Pot body butter.
Moonalisa takes forever to fulfill so I am not sure you would have them in time to mail before the end of round. That being said, I love her dusting powder especially the ambers, roses, and vanillas. Maybe in the Vanilla Cola? Sugar Load Scrub, same - Vanilla Cola. Perfume oil in .... can you guess.... vanilla cola! If you could find some of the older dusting powder in Amber Vanilla or Amber Rose, or the perfume oil, that would be spectacular as well. (I love her Bohemian Velvet but I have more than enough right now.)
There are artists that sell tattoo passes, so that you can legitimately have their work tattooed. Is there anyone that you would potentially like such a pass for?
Brian Serway is one of my fav.
Obvious question of whether you would like anything from the new Lunacy update (Black Butterfly Moon, etc.)? https://blackphoenixalchemylab.com/product-tag/september-2025-lunacy/
I already added everything I'm interested in to my wishlist on the black Phoenix webpage.
