tinyvulture Report post Posted July 5, 2019 COMPARISON OF CELEBRATED BEAUTIES Vanilla cream, mimosa, and almond blossom. Vanilla cream, reminding me of Love's Philosophy, blended with almond. Sooo gorgeous, feminine, sweet. Will the mimosa appear? No. This doesn't have as much throw as my beloved Love's Philosophy though, it's quickly becoming faint. Honey Report post Posted March 27, 2021 Like the previous poster, I sense a strong connection to Love's Philosophy after putting this on. It is very creamy vanilla with a strong almond vibe going on. I'm not sure how I feel about almond blossom. It can turn into this artificial almond smell that reminds me of teenager perfume or beauty products. The vanilla is less of a buttery, custard, gourmand vanilla than a "vanillin" vanilla. The blend feels very juvenile and innocent in that sense and not as mature or sexy as I'd like it to be. doomsday_disco Report post Posted Monday at 11:03 PM (edited) So... I got a bottle of this back in 2015 when it was released, became too depressed to review it, and then neglected to review this for many years after that. Time to change that! Comparison of Celebrated Beauties is a beauty. It's mostly cool, floofy vanilla cream and almond blossom on me, with some additional floral sweetness from the mimosa in the background. If you've tried Almond Blossoms, which was released a few years ago, this is in that vein, as this features the same almond blossom note, only there's vanilla with the almond blossom and cream, and the vanilla is one of the main players here. It's very pretty and perfect for late winter/early spring. I really love this and am glad I bought a bottle back in the day.
