BPAL Madness!

Recommended Posts

Grassy buttery pumpkins with sage. I was not expecting the slight buttery note, it doesn't really fit with these other notes. Grass actually fades fast on me in this, so I'm left with the pumpkin and sage with a touch of floral from the cactus blossom. It's alright, I love a good grassy or hay note but the buttery pumpkin just throws it off for me. If you want a natural pumpkin still on the vine, this could be a good fit.

I mostly get sweet, fleshy, almost peach-like, non-spiced pumpkin, like the pumpkin in White Pumpkin Extrait, from this. The cactus blossom adds a bit of a perfume-y floral quality behind the pumpkin, and the sweetgrass adds a nice green feel to the scent in the background. I don't get the sage until several hours later, and it adds a dry, desert-y feel to the pumpkin.

The combination of the cactus blossom with this pumpkin note makes this a little too high-pitched for me, but I'm glad I got to try it. If you'd be interested in smelling like a pumpkin that rolled through the desert, this is worth a try.
