BPAL Madness!

Sweet, smooth, smoky. It's very banana forward in the bottle, but that settles down instantly on the skin. And the vetiver turns it into this very earthy and creamy scent. Just delightful!

banana laffy taffy in the decant and immediately on the skin. as it dries down the vetiver comes out and takes over for a small amount of time before it settles into a wonderful blend of the two. a banana-sweet-vetiver, with the banana becoming a little less laffy taffy

Have I never known vetiver? This combination is lovely! Strong banana opening, but the duet becomes the sum of its parts by combining into an amazing dry, grassy, smoky-sweet creamy scent. So cozy and sophisticated at the same time. It reminds me of a fun patchouli.

I really love this and may get a bottle.

I was really excited for this one. Don't judge it by the bottle scent, which is all overripe alcoholic banana. Once on skin, I got a brief banana-nut phase before it dove face first into the smoky grass, with the sweetness of the banana lingering. Exactly what I was hoping for, and better than I expected. Love this!!!

In the bottle: Mostly a sweet banana scent, with the vetiver tempering it a bit so it isn’t too sweet.

At first: The vetiver and banana feel like they’re fighting, but I don’t mind it. It feels like a candy perfume for grownups.

One hour in: Vetiver, woody and warm, but also with a sweet finish. Sugary, but light.

Three hours in: Mostly a soft, woody vetiver scent. Very nice fully dried down.

Ten hours in: A bit powdery and slightly sweet.

Overall: A nice oddball addition to my collection. I’ll definitely be wearing this when I’m looking for something different.
