doomsday_disco Report post Posted March 12 Polish A mischievous mark: black raspberries, red currant, and rose hip cordial in honeyed cream.
wilhelmscream Report post Posted March 20 In the bottle, wooooooooooooof! Rich, creamy, fruity rose! On the skin... Oh this is gorgeous. Fruity, floral gourmand. The honeyed cream really is the base to this, all of the other components are luxuriously drowning in it. Dries down into something dreamy and soft.
LavenderCoffee Report post Posted April 27 I thought I was going overboard ordering two scents with raspberry and honey, but this could not be more completely different than the Honey Pot trio with raspberry. it's got an overall coolness and elegance, an evening sort of come hither vibe, whereas the honey trio is a fun/sunshine/jump for joy sort of scent. if you enjoyed the honeyed cream from Slug (Yule 2023) this is the roseberry version of that. probably a good way to get yourself a little Malinka if you know what I mean. doomsday_disco Report post Posted Monday at 04:12 PM Malinka is mostly about the rose hip note on me, backed by the raspberry and currant. I'm not getting the honey or any creaminess from this as my skin really seemed to run away with the rose hip note. If you're waffling between this one and Suçon, I'd say get this one if you want more rose, and get Suçon if you want more raspberry.
splendidissima Report post Posted 22 hours ago Creamy sweet rose petals! Plus some...little hints of raspberry and currant, like you just ate a dessert with those, and you're next to a rose bush, but the bush also has sweet luxurious cream flowing around it in some sort of fountain. This is really pretty, and I could wear it to teach a graduate seminar on medieval romance, or something like that - fruit-floral + sweet cream, professional but interesting, more stately and plush than flirtatious or dramatic, but still more intriguing than an average commercial scent. brwnpaperhag Report post Posted 3 hours ago This is lovely and perfumed, very upscale for being an oil. I agree it is rose forward, sweetened by being a cordial and backed by the cream. I’m not getting much berry, but perhaps it’s lending some depth I’m not sophisticated enough to pick up on. I am very surprised by how much I love this one, and I may FS.
