doomsday_disco Report post Posted March 11 A talisman of pleasure carved from the stone of the heart. Blushing rose cognac, sugared pink grapefruit, iced strawberries, and creamy sandalwood warmed by skin musk, vanilla bourbon, and glowing pink amber.
ghoulnextdoor Report post Posted April 19 Rose Quartz Phallus conjures delightful visions of a grapefruit Haribo candy burlesque performance, pearled sugar pasties, bright pinky-coral musky-soapy citrus wig. A jiggling, jellied, bouncy, exuberant, tassel-twirling, sass-and-wink-and-shimmy extravaganza.
ellocentipede Report post Posted April 25 At first this is a beautiful bright grapefruit—very pink, perfectly sweet-tart, and balanced with a pretty halo of sultry skin musk. When dry I get a hint of the cognac that lends a paradoxical sweetness/bitterness. The bright grapefruit burns off a bit and I’m left with a mature musk with a hint of icy grapefruit and amber. LavenderCoffee Report post Posted April 28 a burst of juicy grapefruit up front transitions into a perky velvety pink ...no, I'm serious! it's nose tickling, soft, and a bit tangy.
galahad Report post Posted May 7 In the Bottle: gorgeous, bright, pink grapefruit, definitely sugared. On the Skin: this becomes more grapefruit rind, rather than juicy flesh on application which I think is the sandalwood blooming. I don't like the sweaty citrus stage which lasts for a while and I had written this off but the drydown is beautiful and refined - the rose cognac? Anyway, full wear test is required. KarenWalker Report post Posted May 17 Sparkling punchy grapefruit in the vial and wet. I can even get a hint of rose. But on me, it dries down to a pink powder. Just a big powder bomb. I want any of the listed notes 😭
OxfordComma Report post Posted Sunday at 01:27 PM (edited) Violently pink grapefruit rind. Like an oversaturated dramatic shot of someone peeling a grapefruit. Then a slow fade to a pastel pink Barbie Dreamhouse pink grapefruit, aesthetically arranged with slices of pastel strawberries. Breakfast in the Valley of the Dolls. Still a hint of bitter citrus, but daintily covered with floofy pink sandalwood and musk. This would be a killer summer scent. doomsday_disco Report post Posted 1 hour ago (edited) This starts off as a fruity floral scent on me, with the grapefruit being the strongest note at first, followed by the rose, until they switch places, so that it ends up being a pink rose-centric scent backed by a hint of grapefruit, which eventually disappears, leaving the pink rose backed by some light, warm, dry resins and skin musk. This is not sweet like Razors in a Doll's House Hair Gloss, and I only get the barest touch of vanilla in the background if I go searching for it, but it is very sheer and faint since it is buried beneath the rose, resins, and musk. I have a lot of rose scents in my collection, and this one isn't really grabbing me even though I've tried it three times. I think it's because I gravitate more towards sugary florals than fruity florals and florals plus resins, but there are even some non-sugary rose scents that call to me more than this one, so I don't think I need to keep my decant.
