ellocentipede Report post Posted April 25 At first this is a beautiful bright grapefruit—very pink, perfectly sweet-tart, and balanced with a pretty halo of sultry skin musk. When dry I get a hint of the cognac that lends a paradoxical sweetness/bitterness. galahad Report post Posted May 7 In the Bottle: gorgeous, bright, pink grapefruit, definitely sugared.  On the Skin: this becomes more grapefruit rind, rather than juicy flesh on application which I think is the sandalwood blooming. I don't like the sweaty citrus stage which lasts for a while and I had written this off but the drydown is beautiful and refined - the rose cognac? Anyway, full wear test is required. Then a slow fade to a pastel pink Barbie Dreamhouse pink grapefruit, aesthetically arranged with slices of pastel strawberries. Breakfast in the Valley of the Dolls. Still a hint of bitter citrus, but daintily covered with floofy pink sandalwood and musk.
