Patchouli and Smoked Vanilla.

This is much lighter and brighter than I thought it would be. It’s almost … fruity? I think I need to give this time to rest. It seems confused. 
 

the consistency of the lotion is really nice - not heavy or greasy, but substantial enough that it soothes my skin. I have pretty dry and dehydrated hands. The dispenser is fine too. I’ll probably need to do some surgery at some point when it starts to get empty but that’s pretty normal for lotion in a bottle.

Agree, it doesn't actually smell like vanilla or patchouli, at all. There is only the slightest hint of what smells like sweet orange oil in very minute dilution, and nothing else. To say that I am bummed is an exponential understatement. The formulation is fine, it just doesn't really have any scent and definitely not these notes.

This smells like...papaya? Or guava. It's definitely fruity. It smells great, but nothing like what I expected. There is no patchouli or smoked vanilla. Not sure how this happened. I've tried this on various parts of my body to see if the scent somehow changes and nope. Tropical lotion.

This starts of sweet, and to my nose more floral than fruity I can see where people are coming from. As it settles it is a sweet airy vanilla, reminding me a touch of certain buttercream scents. I don't get patchouli but something like a light sandalwood underneath. It makes me think of skin musk. A good goes-with-anything type scent. A bit more throw than the other lotion I've tried (White Apple & Ylang Ylang) but not aggressive
