doomsday_disco Report post Posted October 1 The Lovebirds wanted to be spooky this year, and we didn’t have the heart to tell them that no one will be fooled. Fuzzy foamed milk with peppermint cream, green currants, and sugared green apple.
feyofthefellwood Report post Posted October 29 This smells about how I expected it to, which is to say I don't regret the blind bottle! It's a similar sweet, vanillic milk to the one in Snake Milk, although this note seems a bit more sheer and less lactonic to me. The fruit notes are wonderfully tart at first but fade as the scent dries down. The peppermint cream is not overpowering, at least not to my nose, adding a coldness to the overall scent but allowing the other notes to shine as well. After a few hours I'm left with a creamy vanilla mint scent.
doomsday_disco Report post Posted November 10 (edited) Green Lovebat starts off with the green apple and peppermint in full force. After a while, the green apple loses its sugared aspect and becomes more tart, and the green currants emerge, making the scent even more tart. The peppermint is quick to calm down, and the milk emerges; it's definitely a dairy milk note, but it isn't super buttery (and it is a very accurate milk note). By the end of the day, this is a milky green apple and currant scent with just a hint of coolness left behind from the mint. Green Lovebird is my preferred Lovebird, but oddly enough, Pink Lovebat is actually my preferred Lovebat! If you're looking for a milky green apple, though, this one is for you! coernixen Report post Posted November 11 While wet, this is very much a bubbly green apple and mint. The mint calms down very quickly upon application, and while you can tell it's there if you focus on sniffing for notes it is really is just there for a cold vibe. Much like Pink Lovebat, there's one note that stays at the front for me, and that's the green apple. The currents, mint and sugar add depth to the blend, but it is very much an apple blend on me above all else. It takes the cream a little while to come through for me, but when it does it leaves just a very nice, sweet, creamy apple scent. This is absolutely the green version of Pink Lovebat and it's soft sweetness to me - light, subtle with a decent wear time , though not much throw. They're a perfect pair! (And the bottles look adorable next to each other.)
Mountaingrrl00 Report post Posted Tuesday at 02:42 AM Initial impression: lime-flavored Lifesavers candy mingled with a bit of Jolly Ranchers and mints. Very sugary and strong. Wet on skin: I get the apple more clearly. I think it's the green aspect I was reading as lime. The candy aspect has calmed down. Four hours later: still going strong, now with a slightly tannic edge, but still bright and tart.
tajana Report post Posted Thursday at 06:44 PM Chilled milk, a soft peppermint, a bright green candy. The peppermint is most apparent for first 20 minutes of wear, and more noticeable at arm's length than when I huff my wrist directly, where the lactonic, distinctly dairy milk note exists side by side with a sugar-glazed, tart and vibrant green apple, rendered a bit more abstract by the zippy green currant. The long drydown loses the mint and smells more like... what if instead of chocolate milk or strawberry milk, you created green apple milk. A foamy green milk drink for someone who just can't vibe with a matcha latte. 😹 Or, I'm imagining eating apple flavored fun-dip candy and making the inexplicable choice to chase it with a glass of milk. Simple, odd, oddly charming.
