doomsday_disco Report post Posted June 3 A glass raised to the celebratory spirit of Pride, in defiance of everything conspiring to our collective downfall. *clink* The convivial scent of a Tequila Sunrise (tequila, crème de cassis, lime juice, and sparkling soda water) splashed in the brick-lined gutter. kittystryker Report post Posted June 9 I JUST got this in the mail and had to give it a sniff immediately, so I'll try to come back and update after it's rested. The first note is brick - that smell of stone, baked a bit in the sun. Reminds me of the brick buildings in Back Bay, where I grew up. But then, the fruit comes in, citrus freshly squeezed, with a bit of bubbly effervescence right behind. This is a fun and surprising scent that I can't stop sniffing on my wrists! frizzlechicken Report post Posted June 18 Wow I love this. I’m not sure what’s brick and what’s the rest, but the overall effect is clay, fizz and something summery - I assume the tequila sunrise ingredients. I worried this might smell like Tequila! but that’s not the case at all. I think I’ll be reaching for this a lot during warm weather.
musicallum Report post Posted June 23 Category is: A Party AND A Protest! This is an interesting (and delightful) combo of obstinate earth with giddy fruitiness and a spangly whiff of a little something extra in the air. It’s giving gay bar and I love it. doomsday_disco Report post Posted 22 hours ago My skin seems to have run away with the tequila. I get a smoky version of tequila with some of the effervescence of the soda water and the clay and sand of the brick note. The booze is the star of the show on me in this one, instead of the brick. I wish the fruity notes had showed up on me. Alas.
