doomsday_disco Report post Posted May 28 Peonies and poppies are two of my favorite May flowers, and all the more so now that we’ve moved to Philadelphia, where you see them in countless gardens. Continuing with the theme of serpents making their way through urban landscapes, I’ve created something for myself that I want to share – a Snake Oil-infused bouquet of poppies, peonies, melancholy heartsease, and the last bruised winter hellebores dusted with sandalwood and bound with a vanilla-white silk ribbon. OxfordComma Report post Posted Saturday at 10:55 PM At first whiff, I thought there must be carnation in here because it immediately reminded me of Shelley, Byron, and Keats. But I forgot about poppies! So poppy party, a hint of the sweet-tart vibe I always get from peonies, and ofc Snake Oil. It actually does remind me quite a bit of SB&K + SO, which I am very OK with because I adore both. Another lovely Snake for my floral Snake brigade! 🐍💐
