roseus Report post Posted June 16 This smells reminiscent of my beloved recently departed The Moon Reflected in Every Rice Paddy. The musk is creamy and slightly sweet, not at all a fresh clean white musk. The rice is beautifully starchy-powdery and there is a hint of creamy jasmine. Extremely huffable. topazphoenix Report post Posted June 25 I've come to understand that in this scent, the rice is a background player. It mainly adds a faint starchiness, but it's also a little sweet. The white musk is the star here, and it's perfectly blended with the rice - you can't tell when one begins and the other ends. It's a swirl of warm simplicity. Understated and beautiful. I imagine this will layer well with just about anything that could use the ethereal white musk. Full bottle. ~~Update~~ Layered with Coconut Milk and Rice, this becomes huffable x 3. feyofthefellwood Report post Posted July 20 This has been an unexpected favorite from my recent decants. It's the Lab's sheer white musk note with light, fluffy white rice. It's starchy to my nose, but also a little vanillic and citrus-y. If I smelled this on someone else, I'd think they smelled really good without being able to pinpoint why.
