BPAL Madness!

Recommended Posts

Playwright, operative, vampire DJ of some renown. An EDM beat pulsing through the laser-lit memories of centuries of night. Dry ice and synthetic fog, ozonic and fairly sweet, curling around dark rum and patchouli root. Underneath, where the dance club lasers cannot reach, lies black amber, blood-crusted clove, and incense ground into stone floors over centuries.

In the  bottle it definitely smells like Fog Machine Juice, but maybe with fruit? I assume that's the rum sweetness.

On the skin it's pretty much the same. Kinda smells like the red musk in some of the 13 blends and yules. I think that might be the clove note, but usually clove goes smoky so I'm not sure.

Leaving it for a while and I'm just getting jammy fruit sweetness with that fog machine juice underneath.

It smells like a club in that it smells like ambient effects combined with everyone's cheap cologne. Like the platonic ideal of the Blade club

Concord grape shrub and blackstrap, a float of something dark and molasses-heavy, a bitter aromatic rinse swirled around the glass and discarded. Served in an upturned chrome helmet over one enormous clear cube, condensation beading down the visor, the drink and the vessel chilled with ghostly thermokinetic energy.  A cold hoppy bitterness, the tang of cutlery curls in underneath and arrives a beat after everything else, the taste of the cup itself in the last mouthful. Garnished with a violet pastille on a silver pick, velvety, glossy, the better end of the lollipop.

renowned for smelling great, this vamp of all trades has a truly versatile fragrance, reflecting a savviness across centuries. the rum note is deployed deftly to connect the ozonic top notes to the rest of the composition without going boozy, and I actually get some of the blood too. were you dancing in the club or brawling in the halls? no one will know. but do not sleep on this DJ, VDJOSR is wearable as hell.

First impressions, it has a very "fog machine and stale pack of cloves" smell, mixed with traces of the last swig of rum, faded ambery perfume and incense-soaked velvet curtains against stone.

So gorgeously atmospheric and distinct. A goth club in a bottle!

Fruit. Rave. Everyone’s tossing back fruity drinks. Everyone’s wearing really clean, freshly laundered clothing. (Tropical scent detergent). There are lasers. There is ozone. There is clove.
