BPAL Madness!

Recommended Posts

If you love ginger, this scent is for you, for it has it in spades! The ginger root is the strongest note throughout wear, and it is somewhat effervescent, reminding me of ginger beer. The lemon is next in prominence, and I get touches of the other notes, but they don't hold a candle to those two.

This smells like the sort of tea you would drink when feeling ill. I don't think I need a full bottle of this one, but I'm definitely going to hang onto my decant for those times when I'm not feeling too well and drinking lots of lemon and ginger tea.

In the bottle, this is very fresh and green. I'm getting a bubbly, nose-tingly ginger, lemon, and green tea. On the skin, the ginger is less ginger ale and more ginger, but still the strongest note. I often lose lemon as a note the longer I wear a perfume, but the lemon in this one sticks around for a shockingly long time. The cedar was almost invisible in this for the initial stages of wear, but it did join the party eventually. It does give a lemon ginger tea vibe, but I enjoy how fresh it is.

On my skin, the combination of notes reads as lemongrass, which is a note I love in food but personally don't enjoy smelling like. I did try this right out of the mailbox, being the impatient sort, so I will try it again in a few days to see if anything changes.
