BPAL Madness!

Recommended Posts

Ugh, I need a 20 ml of this…or a 50 ml. Whatever the largest size available would be, I want that please!

There isn’t a note in here that I don’t love already by itself so there’s that.

Sniffing the open bottle it’s predominantly the caramel cream with the sweet amber and creamy hazelnut. Once applied I get a blast of caramel cream to my senses while the golden oud rises up to hold hands with the sweet amber. I’m not really getting the cacao but I happily smell the praline milk. Maybe it’s golden oud still that almost gives it like a soft, subtle tinge of leatheriness slightly? Something seems similar to Batty Lace (which I also love). It’s all creamy, mildly nutty, sweet, soft and sexy while being comforting at the same time. I am supremely into this.

I agree with Geminirubyshoes, the cacao isn't as noticeable as the oud, which is a bit sharp but smells great. It really does take the lead on this one, as the amber peeks out from behind. I think this is a great scent that may be a bit strong for my skin chemistry. Still, it's really growing on me as it dries a bit.

I took a chance on this one, knowing the oud might kill it. If not for the oud, I would need multiple bottles. It's creamy nutty praline goodness up front, but unfortunately the dry down brings out the oud so it's a no from me, but probably a yes for lots of people

A surprising win for me. I get right away the praline and some hints of cacao.

As soon it hits my skin, Caramel Vulva warms up and becomes so comforting and gives way to this subtle spicy peppery aura. The caramel part is never in your face, but i can tell that it's very well blended together with the praline milk and hazelnut. There must be an unlisted spice note in there, because i smell some kind of pepper ot something else.

I ordered a sample of this one expecting a sticky-sweet gourmand (given the caramel and praline + cacao). Instead, the amber and oud give it a cool, sophisticated vibe that reminds me of a sweeter, lighter cousin of Courtiers and Cats. There’s a fuzzy quality to it, and I also get the hint of something leathery geminirubyshoes mentioned.

This one is the rare caramel scent that might still appeal to gourmand-haters.
