Geminirubyshoes Report post Posted April 2 In the bottle and when first applied: Holy burnt black sesame Batman! There is no creaminess to the dark chocolate, it is very much a high cacao content (antioxidants yeah, yeah, yeah). The black sesame is so prevalent to me but after a little while I can detect a little hazelnut. I’d say after an hour the scorched black sesame has toned down and everything is melding together with the patchouli leaf being a little crackly at the end. To be totally honest, I don’t think this is something I would wear a lot but it’s a fun concept and I love to try new stuff I would however go out to say if you loved Butterscotch Balls & Black Beetles, you will most likely be wanting to try Dark Chocolate Dried Cricket. LavenderCoffee Report post Posted May 8 I am enjoying this a lot more than I thought I would. The sesame/hazelnut/patch combo is coming across as a unified front that dries down into something resembling ...weed? And it's awesome? It's not quite like the lab's usual cannabis note but there's definitely a terpenic sort of quality that is noticably different than a dank patchouli. Also full disclosure: I don't really partake anymore so don't hate me if I'm way off base. Just give this one a try!
OxfordComma Report post Posted 1 hour ago Imma be real, this does kind of smell like crickets at first. That scorched black sesame is no joke. This is dry and cronchy. The chocolate is real dark, in that bitter way you get with like 90%+. A bit of a camphor vibe from the patch leaf, I'm guessing. I was not feeling it at first but the longer this sat on me the more I kept sniffing it. Weird and true to concept, so A+ for execution!
