In the bottle and on my skin, it has a sharp, generic soapy smell. There is something gourmand beneath it, but it struggles to come out in the drydown.

I am reviewing this while drinking coincidentally a bombastic tropical juice mix. I can smell the pie, the pineapple is trying to steal the stage as usual, I amp pineapple to heavens normally, and I can sense a sweet sweet mango in the background. It’s very playful and it gives me orange impressions more than blue. All the notes are well seamed, and I’m sure that the next reviews will vary wildly. I like it!

I must admit that it's been a very long time since I've had a bombastic tropical juice mix, so I can't vouch for its accuracy in that realm. It is a tropical fruit blast to my nose, though. I also get lots of pineapple, with mango and citrus not far behind. They're all blended together with a creamy custard note that makes me think of coconut, but that might just be my brain inventing another tropical note. Beneath all the fruity notes is a flaky, buttery pie crust. After it dries down a bit, I do get a soapy note, which I can't quite pin down. Overall, I find it pleasant and surprisingly easy to wear.
