Champagne Report post Posted December 19, 2025 This is delightful as it sounds: more than a pie it’s a delicate victorian sponge cake with a sugared earl grey note that dances with a pale lavender, stealing each other the stage and alternating themselves on the wrist. Throw is near to skin, I slathered it a bit and I’m living the dream of this lilac fairy cake. I would buy gallons if I could.
faeriedust87 Report post Posted January 10 It's so delicious but I can't pinpoint the exact notes. I think there's tea and cake? It's definitely a gourmand scent.
melandie Report post Posted January 11 This is wonderful! I get tea, cake, vanilla, and a definite hint of lavender. Might be a great sleep scent. Exceeeeeepppt....my husband hates it. I wish I had a photo of the face he made when he smelled it. "Smells like it went off. Like rotten eggs or garbage". So, if I have any hopes of sleeping beside my husband, won't be a sleep scent. doomsday_disco Report post Posted January 22 (edited) London Fog Cream Pie smells like Earl Grey, with its bergamot and tannic black tea leaves, swirled with frothy steamed milk and a dash of vanilla syrup -- which is to say, it smells like a London Fog! It gets a little buttery after several hours of wear on me, but not overly so -- although I suspect that's the cream part of the cream pie at play. I don't get anything overtly pie from this, though. This is my favorite of the 2025 pie frimps -- I only wish it lasted longer and were stronger! Edited January 22 by doomsday_disco
KarenWalker Report post Posted February 13 With the announcement that this is joining the Activism scents, now's the perfect time to review this... because it's so dang good and everyone can snatch it up. It's bergamot cream, Earl grey floof filling, a drizzle of vanilla syrup. It's perfect. However - I get no pie-ness. But that might be a me problem, I never get any pie quality from the Lab's pie scents. It's also quite strong with only a light slather with my little imp wand. amoray Report post Posted February 25 This is a bit of a skin fail for me. It smells a bit sharp and powdery on me. I don't think tea scents work well on me and it makes me sad 😭 I wanted to smell the amazing floofy filling.
grrrlennyl Report post Posted August 20 In the bottle: I'm getting a sweet, creamy apple pie scent. Interesting. At first: Ah, there's the tea. A bright earl grey with sweet cream and a flaky pie crust. 3 hours in: Much lighter Just sweet cream. Overall: This fades too quickly on my skin, which is too bad. splendidissima Report post Posted August 20 Oh, I never reviewed this one! This was unexpectedly my favorite of the 2025 pie imps - tea and I don't always get along on my skin, but here it's really lovely! The sweet cream + pastry note (I would agree with others above that it's more like a sponge cake than pie crust) balances out the tannic black tea perfectly, elevating both aspects! It's more complicated and just a little pointed, versus a pure gourmand; but then the potential sharpness is toned down and softened and wrapped up in grey-lavender clouds. It goes on strong, but it does fade fast, but maybe I'm just being too careful about hoarding my imp! I had *just* put this on when my office-mate walked in and immediately said, "Something smells good in here!" 🙂
