Pomegranate and Scarlet Chypre was delivered today. I can't stop huffing my wrist. It's so good! I love me some good Chypre and this is no exception. gentle-twig Report post Posted 2 hours ago (edited) This is one easy breezy scent. Lots of Pom up front but but firmly chypric. It reminds me a lot of the tobacco and cherry Chypre duet from last year’s goose moon release. The same textural interest from the Chypre, with the dry tobacco switched out for a gleaming aldehyde and the cherry switched out for the (much more wearable to me) pomegranate. I really like this, but find it a bit feminine for me. After the first hour or so it has an earthy but put together Chypre thing that reads as tweedily unisex today .
