abejita Report post Posted November 7 This is so beautiful. Sometimes BPAL dairy notes are completely glorious on me, and sometimes they are weird and sour, and this is firmly in the former category. Rich cream with all the good vanilla-oak bourbon-y notes and BPAL's lovely, melty skin musk. It manages to have so much presence without being perfume-y or screechy in any way. I've been collecting BPAL for 20 years, and I have a "no 2nd bottle of anything" rule that I'm going to violate for this blend.
wilhelmscream Report post Posted November 25 In the bottle, I smell skin musk and bourbon. It's clean and boozy.  But on the skin, it all melts into this rich, buttery, creamy pool of goodness. Almost kind of butterscotch-y? Musky, boozy sugar cookies?  It's deceptively simple. Completely gorgeous and intoxicating and cannot get enough of! A decent throw, but definitely meant to wear close to the skin. Would layer nicely with other fragrances.
LavenderCoffee Report post Posted December 4 I looooove BPAL's big, booming, bourbon cream, but I'm glad this collaboration incorporates skin musk to tone it down slightly. The outcome is incredibly accessible, wearable, and yes, layerable! Wear your DILF to the office by day and then add a dab of snake oil for a night out.
Larinessa Report post Posted 14 hours ago So, I had suggested this one to my hubby to get for himself, but he ended up buying it for me as a Christmas gift. 🤷 Well, I'm always up for trying, so here goes, though I'll slather him in it to see who I like it better on.  In the bottle the bourbon was the most prominent note, reminding me of the liquor scented box of chocolates from yester years.  On the skin it mellows considerably, as the cream and skin musk temper the bourbon, making it a warm, almost indistinct meld of notes. I'm honestly a bit stumped by this, almost like a heightened natural body scent (not in a stanky unwashed way, but like an amplification of your natural scent). It's unobtrusive, and subtle, which is a surprise considering how loud it was in the bottle.  Frankly, this one surprises me a bit. One, it's a cream scent not going to sour milk on me, and two, it's almost like one of those PH adjusting products, like it's going to transform to your unique chemistry, and become it's best version of itself for the wearer. I'm not sure how Beth managed that, but it's another example of her mastery.  Definitely going to slather on the hubby to see what happens to this morpher.
