Invidiana Report post Posted October 20 Imagine raking leaves on a bright October day, with orange, red, yellow and brown leaves dancing in sudden gusts that kick them up at your feet. Some swirl above your head as they drift down from the trembling branches of oaks and maples. Dry leaves brush against clean skin. When the sun begins to sink and porch lights switch on, you come inside from the chill but still carry the unmistakeable scent of autumn with you. It mingles with your skin, and you drift to sleep as if in a bed of autumn leaves.
ghoulnextdoor Report post Posted October 31 Soap bubbles catching October's dying light, the way autumn evenings used to stretch infinite even as they ended early, time moving differently when someone else kept track of it for you. Steam rising from water drawn by someone's hands you'll never see again in this lifetime, that drowsy warmth after hours spent kicking through leaf piles, the exhaustion of childhood translated through clean suds and amber dusk. Bath time as the day collapses into early darkness, warm and safe and somehow unbearably tender in retrospect.
bunnicula Report post Posted November 14 This starts off with a very clean and laundry-like note. It smells "cologne-y" to me and I thought I got it mixed up and that I was wearing the Wooly Jumper blend instead, because it somewhat reminded me of Sheepfold, Moonlight (notes: soft wool and hay absolute.) The dead leaves here are very subtle but also of the cologne-y variety. Unfortunately I don't vibe much with this, it's just too clean for me, definitely a skin musk after a very lathered up, soapy shower.
