Peach Chai.

currently, this smells like a peach jelly belly (which i LOVE). sweet with a bit of spice. I'll update in the future when it's settled a bit but it's a beautiful scent to ease from the bright, sweetness of summer into a spiced, warm drink fall

This is my first time trying my bottle. I applied it to my freshly washed, dried hair by applying a few sprays into my palms and scrunching into my curly hair, then a spritz over the top for extra shine. The scent is more peach than chai. It smells of sweet ripe peach juice trickling down my hands as I bite into a juicy peach. I had hoped for a lot more chai spice, and am worried that aging won't bring out the spices much more than they are now. I have a decant of the Masala Chai beard oil and was hoping for a peachy version of that scent.

 

All the same, this is a lovely, very wearable scent for any occasion. The actual throw is fairly gently and this would make a nice body spray without overpowering anyone.

A far juicier peach than I was expecting coming off of last year's Peach and Red Bean Paste HG. That said, I was into it from first sniff. Way back (decades, in the pre-Lab-exisiting era of the halcyon 1990s) the Body Shop had a peach perfume that I wore obsessively. It smelled like canned peaches packed in syrup. 

This hair gloss has a similar quality, though I'd say the peach is fresher and amps even more than that long-ago fragrance. It's ;lasted all day and pair nicely with several scents I tested (one a light sugary musk, the other a dark, spicy autumnal confection). 

I will put this in my cold-weather rotation on days that I need a bit more brightness and sparkle in my dreary day!
