BPAL Madness!

I'm always looking for sweetgrass perfumes, it's one of my very favorite smells, so I knew I had to grab this before they ran out. I didn't expect to be so taken by the dandelion butter note as well, but it's stellar.

out of the bottle - a super nostalgic scent of summer pulling dandelions and feeling the crush of the plant matter between your fingers, a thick grassy floral dandelion smell with a backing of subtle sweetgrass. this is really gorgeous wet.

wet on me - starts out flat and low to the skin, not surprising since it's fresh from the mail, as it spreads out it starts getting a very yellow-white brightness to it, the dandelion scent comes up

dry on me - picking up a bit of throw, sweetgrass layering over, dandelion close to the skin. sniffing it gives me that pinch-between-the-nose-and-soft-palate sensation of being in a hay-only barn. It has a very vibrant and natural impression, like I've just come in from rolling in grasses and dandelions. this is a really beautiful summer scent

I agree with wodnesse above - on my skin there was a floral grass that really came through, not just pure grass, but freshly mown dandelions amongst the grass. I wish the sweetgrass came a little bit stronger? But this is such a delightful summer scent that I don’t really mind.

This is a fresh, green floral, with extra emphasis on the green. This is the same sappy, fresh dandelion note I love from Wild Dandelion SN, but with extra green oomph from the sweetgrass. It does lean soapy upon application, but the soapiness calms down with wear. As with most scents like this, it fades somewhat quickly, but is still a lovely, fresh summertime green scent. Fans of Wild Dandelion SN or any kind of fresh-cut grass scent will want to check this one out.
