doomsday_disco Report post Posted March 28 Nox adveniet: a somber waft of incense curling through night-blooming jasmine, poisonous berries, opium poppy accord, sugared absinthe, and bergamot blossoms.
Little Bird Report post Posted May 6 Strong opium poppy (harsh, 80s white floral and aldehyde scent here) and strong jasmine scented soap. Some dry wafts of incense smoke. Bergamot blossom adds a little lemon dish soap. It's all way too sharp, harsh, and soapy for me. I was hoping for strong sugared absinthe but I don't get that at all. This was a scrubber for me because it started to give me a headache, so I only made it through the first half hour.
roseus Report post Posted May 29 Lots of opium in the imp/fresh on. A bit of bergamot brightness and a slightly bitter fruitiness I'm interpretating as the berries. As it settles on my skin it becomes incense-forward, with the opium and jasmine trailing behind.
tajana Report post Posted June 20 This is a vampy night-blooming fruity floral that opens up with a ghostly kiss of luminous bergamot and an opium-backed jasmine. Bittersweet berries, slightly currant-y and slightly wine-y, come in next to dye the scent a purplish, dark red color. The perfume settles into a floral incense, though in the end the berries hang on longer than the jasmine does. Based on the label art I was hoping for plenty of that sugared absinthe, but I don't get any hint of absinthe... any spooky glow is coming from the bergamot blossom and the 'white' of jasmine petals. patina Report post Posted 13 hours ago (edited) Instantly jasmine-forward. A little soapy, but it's mild and I don't find it offensive. A humid southern night with a touch of waxy non-too sweet berries. The incense is hard to distinguish, mostly it makes the florals seem sweeter and more exotic. Very much a summer scent. It is now raining outside. The humidity is bringing out everything here even moreso and I'm being overcome with the smell of wafting jasmine and bittersweet wine and sugared incense.
