Jenjin Report post Posted September 17, 2024 (edited) A shiny, genteel, vintage ride for all those who feel dead inside: lime rind, citron, petitgrain, white musk, a swish of bay rum and a bit of black pepper. Edited September 17, 2024 by Jenjin
Biocarbons Report post Posted October 31, 2024 This is LIME LIME LIME LIME with slightly sweet white musk, and the sharpness of bay rum and black pepper in the background. You just zested and juiced 6 limes and ground fresh black pepper for a recipe, and on the stove you are reducing a simple syrup with a bit of orange.
SurrealReality Report post Posted November 21, 2024 General Impression: Slightly sweet, fresh, bright, tart, citrusy. Notes I can smell: Lime and citron with vague hints of other notes around the edges. The only notes that really pop out here are the lime and the citron (with the lime securely in the lead). They're both fresh, but unexpectedly sweet notes. I cannot smell the white musk as a separate note, but it seems to be giving the lime a slightly fizzy quality. In the background, I can smell a hint of rum and perhaps black pepper (but I have to really concentrate to notice). I like lime. But I don't like it THIS much. I wish the other notes were more apparent.
Little Bird Report post Posted April 1 Smells like Sprite to me more than anything else, like a small child poured a bag of sugar over a glass of Sprite and now the fizzy, sugary mess is everywhere. I get zero authentic/natural smelling lime or citrus (it's.. Sprite with extra sugar, and I dunno how else to describe it) and absolutely no pepper or bay rum. It's very sickly sweet and artificial smelling. I would love to have a room spray that smells like freshly squeezed limes, which is what I was hoping for here, but I don't think I'd identify lime at all if I didn't know the name of this one. 3mi1ie Report post Posted May 2 Like the previous review I was hoping for a really tart, fresh lime scent and that’s not what I get from this. If anything it leans more orange than lime. It’s not unpleasant, but definitely sweeter and more artificial than I would’ve wanted. Honestly it reminds me of potpourri spray.
doomsday_disco Report post Posted yesterday at 11:28 PM I love this room spray and should have just blind bottled it instead of going for a decant and then having to upgrade to a bottle (but at least this way, I have a bottle and then some, which is great for travel!). Lime Green Hearse is definitely LIME GREEN and made for lime fans (if you're down for a sweet lime and not just a freshly squeezed lime, as other reviewers have noted). The other citrus notes are shoved into the background (and read as orange-y -- and the petitgrain isn't screaming bitter orange peel, woot!). I get touches of black pepper and bay rum among them, but they are more noticeable later in the day (if you spray this on something instead of directly into the air -- I've sprayed this on a paper towel to test it, on my couch, and on a wool dryer ball to let it scent laundry). The white musk may be adding a slight effervescence to the scent, but it isn't a main player. I love both fresh and sweet lime, so I love this. I think I reach for it the most out of the four hearse atmos that I own. It's especially refreshing during these warmer months!
