The Bliss milk chocolate has been imbued with warm pumpkin purée. As time goes by the milk chocolate is vanishing away leaving me with a sweet warm pumpkin glow.

the honey in this is very animalic. idk what it is about it that comes off so piss-like to me. bee by zoologist is a well made realistic honey, animalic and all. the chocolate is sweet and creamy at first but then i’m left with sweet pumpkin puree and pee. too much pumpkin spice and pee, not enough chocolate for me

The honey wins out on me too, sadly. Initially, I get pumpkin spiced chocolate brownies, the brownie note very similar to Lavender Brownie. Soon, the honey note comes out in force. It blends well at first, then ultimately dries down to mostly honey dust with some spice and no chocolate. I'm glad I didn't spring for a bottle, besides, Dark Chocolate Pumpkin Pie and I still roll together, so it's all good. It would be a great spiced honey chocolate blend on the right skin.

I tested this last year, but neglected to review it, saying I wanted to deathmatch it with Bliss in the Pumpkin Patch (an old gift with donation imp from 2013). Then I realized that I no longer had the imp of Bliss in the Pumpkin Patch, and also, that comparing the two would do nobody any good anyways, since it's not like a ton of people tried the imp. So I decided to review it this year... then tested and neglected to review it a few more times until now.

On me, the pumpkin is the star of the show. It's the same syrupy, spiced pumpkin note from Amber Pumpkin Hair Gloss and I believe the 2013 version of the pumpkin patch scents. The chocolate in this really is more milk chocolate-like and doesn't give me the brownie qualities of straight-up Bliss. It's also far more subtle than the pumpkin. I had forgotten that honey was a note in here, and perhaps that is what's contributing to the syrupy quality of the pumpkin. It's all about that pumpkin in the throw on me (so much pumpkin! it's strong); I could only ever smell the chocolate whenever I held my hand up to my nose.

I really wish this were more chocolate-y on me. I don't dislike it, but I wouldn't reach for it for a pumpkin AND chocolate fix. At least it didn't give me any welts like Dark Chocolate Pumpkin Pie (even though that one smelled really delicious). Maybe this year's Halloween Hagelslag will be the chocolate and pumpkin for me?

And, for what it's worth, my review of this ended up being pretty much the same as my review of Bliss in the Pumpkin Patch -- so maybe they are the same scent!
