Fancyfetus Report post Posted September 21, 2024 This was my only Dragon Con indulgence. I was inspired to buy this primarily because I very recently moved into a new apartment with huge windows that let in tons of light. I was hoping to bring a new fragrance into this new space that reflected the bright, open feeling that I love so much about it. The peach in this is fresh and fragrant but not overly juicy. I am tempted to call it a white peach, as the acidity of a ripe yellow peach just isn't there. However, it's possible that the lemon blossom and honeysuckle have just sweetened the peach enough to neutralize any tanginess. I would describe it overall as a lightly sweet fruit scent with clean mystery florals. I'm not very familiar with lemon blossom so maybe it's spot on, but I couldn't say. It's a very bright, energizing scent to me. My husband described it as clean without smelling like cleaning products, which I have to agree with. It's what you want your home to smell like while tidying up or when your neighbors/in-laws/landlord drop by. I wish it were just a bit stronger of a fragrance, but I always want to drown absolutely everything in perfume so that's likely a personal issue. Used in moderation, this lingers beautifully about the room and gives the space an airy quality. I think this would be incredible in spring, but I'll keep using it until my Hearse samples get here. Akurarei Report post Posted October 15, 2024 This is beautiful! It's like standing among a very flowered lemon tree orchard, eating the sweetest, juiciest & ripest peach! Very delicate overall, but still quite noticeable in it's sweet fruity fragrance
doomsday_disco Report post Posted 9 hours ago (edited) I got a decant of this last year and am only reviewing it now, but it's really great. Even my partner enjoys this one. It is mostly a juicy pink peach brightened up by the lemon blossom, which is not soapy whatsoever like the Fleur de Citronnier Hair Gloss. It's all about the peach in the throw, but I can smell the lemon blossom more if I spray it directly on something. I've also used this to scent wool dryer balls for laundry and love using it for that purpose. I love honeysuckle notes and don't really get that from this unless I spray it on a paper towel and inhale deeply, but I'm sure that hint of honeysuckle nectar is in the background, helping to make this smell more magical. I generally don't reach for the peach scents I have often enough, so I started making myself go the decant route with the Dragon Con peach offerings, but this is one where I wish I had just leapt for a bottle. If I ever see one on Etsy, I will have to try to snag it. Edited 9 hours ago by doomsday_disco
