straight sniff from imp is a super clean, very ozone blend... once applied the narcissus amps up to a heady and expensive woman's perfume... the rosemary balances this out nicely...a very slight bitter note...almost dandelion (problee the petitgrain) makes this completely wearable for me... i am loving it!

straight sniff from imp is a very expensive and elegant fred soll incense once applied the frankincense is right there...beautiful...!! the ambergris and myrrh and sandalwood are perfect together.... if you are a lover of incense type blends, this is most definitely for you...a gorgeous, cool weather blend for the bleakest of dark, dreary wintery days to come...

straight sniff from imp is peanut buttery!! that is the myrrh and hazelnut!! some similarities to sed non satiata for those who know and love that blend, myself included!! once applied this is just wonderful myrrh, vanilla, honey and hazelnut this is a sophisticated gourmandy blend for me... i am in l-o-v-e

straight sniff from imp is pear and jasmine... i am in complete concurrence with the similarity to black moon...this just has a lot more pear...decent throw too.... unfortunately i get none of the violet note which is a fav for me... while it is pretty i think it would be better suited for others

straight sniff from imp is a watery, sweet patchouli note... once applied this gets smoky and aquatic...huh? unfortunately i cannot seem to pick out any single note except for maybe the musk... ah well...ya win some, ya lose some...just not my cup of tea...

straight sniff from imp is dry patchouli... once applied the vetiver amps up huge with it...and within 5 minutes.... shazaam!! ...fig and amber....omG...slightly similar to doc buzzard minus the thick cola note... as a true vetiver lover i can say this is most excellent

first sniff from imp this is the same heavenly sandalwood that is in my beloved underpants.... once applied the vanilla and sandalwood are what combine together to create a smooth, luxurious and swoon-worthy perfume...excellent sillage...another winner with me.... a kind of "breathy" or boozey note too...possibly the white ginger and apricot...i specifically noted with this blend that the ginger and apricot are not "in your face"... they mingle and whisper softly in the background... amazing

straight sniff from imp is aquatic musks... once applied, this gets soapy but in the best possible way ... absolutely gorgeous the floral and fresh fruit notes combined with the musks are superb...one of the most beautiful blends i have ever had the opportunity to try....excellent throw but not enough that it would "bowl anyone over"

straight sniff from bottle is the rose of my liddle kiddle kologne rosebud scented dolli when i was a girl!! immediate love!! once applied this *is* a beauty...a vintage and full-bodied rose scent... a true SN to me....gorgeous

straight sniff from bottle is gingerbread batter from my mixing bowl!! nummy! once applied this is soooooooooo gorgeous!! gingerbread at its finest...combined with nutmeg and spices....definitely swoonworthy and 100% better than the previous! the sillage is marvelous as well... pure joy and love in this little 5ml i am thrilled...

ok...experiment time... i mixed the tiniest bit of vitamin E oil with some snake oil... discovery? this makes the most decadent massage oil ever!! my concoction? 1 ml vitamin E to 3/4 mls snake oil...try it out for your own self with any blend you love and i guarantee you will be pleasantly surprised

straight sniff from bottle is dead-on to 2005...light,sweet, coconut, floral... once applied this amps up to a hayooge floral coconut...hmmmm..... after 30 minutes plus, i am walking around the house and i suddenly get the faintest whiff of chocolate ?? huh?? ok...too weird...a strange morpher on me....now i get coconut and green...thankfully no plastic or play-dough...it just seems somewhat .... odd.... a LOT like LUSH snowcake...which i love as a soap...verdict is out on whether this will work... so aggravating as so many love this ... i want to adore it but i just can't be sure...meh...

straight sniff from bottle is rose water seltzer! how cool! once applied a super, soft floral; almost dusty...quite delicate and enticing! this does not morph much with me; a light, bubbly floral... beth certainly hit the nail on the head with this artistic beauty...

straight sniff from the bottle is bright citrus and the most incredible note of gardenia the lab has to date once applied the patchouli along with the honey amp up and make this a truly unique combination...after 10-15 minutes, lots of gardenia with hints of the blood orange and patchouli...this is a mellow patchouli and is too gorgeous....heaven in a bottle

2007 version... straight sniff from bottle reminds me exactly of the 2004 version which was not my friend... once applied this is absolutely the sweetest, creamiest, yummiest egg nog scent ever!! ZomG...slightly spicy swirled with a touch of brandy and nutmeg...yay!! this one works fantastically and i am so happy i took a chance on egg nog

straight sniff from bottle this reminds me distinctly of arrival at the sabbath & hommage to the devil minus the patchouli and darkness... once applied this is sweet, mapley-fig and warm caramel...creamy floral abounds...this has quite a throw... this is so well done and the complexity is nothing short of stunning to the olfactory senses... a true beauty & i am in love

2007 version... straight sniff from bottle is sweet, seductive plum... once applied it warms up to floral and fruity goodness... absolutely gorgeous...another winner from the yule 2007 update

this got me thinking... i have a bottle of vitamin E oil that i have had forever... it has no scent and the consistency has never changed one bit... it is very thick.... i'm no chemist but could it possibly be used as a carrier oil...??

straight sniff from bottle is fruity and creamy.... once applied this is just so divine...the almond milk and coconut notes are superbly done....then this turns quite spicy and woody...lots of sillage...a little dab'll do ya....dear partner came home and asked if i was baking something...this has an almost foody feel to it... this is the kind of blend i live for from the lab...

straight sniff from bottle is a single note pomegranate.... once applied this truly is a boozy, tart pomegranate scent... absolutely beautiful and it lingers fairly well

straight sniff from bottle is a glassy, whipped ozone...exactly as described... once applied this turns perfumey in a beautiful way...this is what i had hoped "numb" would be...extremely complex this scent is a work of art and perfect for a winter soiree

straight sniff from bottle is pure decadence....omG... true, dark hot cocoa with cinnamon.... once applied the cinnamon amps up (a chemistry thang with me) but subsides quickly and i am left with the most delicious cinnamon hot cocoa evah! a touch of brown sugar later and i am left in awe...a multiple bottle purchase...i can only imagine this would age like the dickens!! bravo beth...absolutely gobble worthy!!

straight sniff from bottle is creamy, violet, lavender vanilla...ZomG... this is one gorgeous blend...applied this gets superbly whipped cream lavender... the rose in this is perfect...barely there... great sillage and phenomenally beautiful
